Out of curiosity, what is the single most important factor you choose when investing in an ICO?
I'd love to hear what influences you the most. Comment if you want to rank the list or note the least most important factor.
Just want to suggest to add up more votes because i cant only choose a single thing when i do tend to choose up an ICO but i did click on the Idea mainly of the project that it would be applied and useful into the community. If i found out a nonsense project i do really skip on that one and search for another and also Transparency on the team is one of the things i do seek too next is whitepaper/roadmap. |

ETH is going up fast 45% alone today, now it has the market cap 70% of bitcoin.
It has no doubt ETH will become the biggest and new normal standard as CryptoCurrency and displace bitcoin aka "Chinacoin" before the end of July.
Nah, this kind of shills is already common in those forum. Always proclaiming that ETH will surpass bitcoin anytime soon since they are just purely basing on the marketcap. All i can say is that I really dont care as long i can able to make money on both sides then it would be just fine for me and i dont really care at looking on the marketcap of between this two coin but somehow my loyalty do always in Btc and you cant blame me since this is the father of all crypto.  |

Hi, I am giving an announcement that dopecoin was put on the bittrex exchange and is increasing in value at this moment. https://www.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-DOPEIt just fascinates me. I don't understand why it is increasing. I am thinking of put 50 dollars in it. Was wondering what do you guys think of what is happening right now.. Tips maybe? Greetings, Its not surprising since its being listed on big exchanges which means the possibility of pump would really happen into that coin specially on those cheaper ones. There are people/group would somehow pump a coin but still be careful on investing because you wont know if you did buy on the peak price or not. I Think First You Should Make A Solid Team That Will And WORK TO WORK.

MAKING a team like this is a very difficult thing.
You would really need to seek or build a team which do have their own roles into the project because you cant really do a project on your own alone and you do really need other people on a certain area of expertise. ICO or in short crowdfunding is on where you do seek for potential investors on your projected plans thats is why it should really be appealing to the public so that it would really caught their interest and which would really make a successful ICO. |

Banks are definitely afraid on cryptocurrency thats why they do tell people not to involved with it but the hidden truth is that those banks doesnt like for people to have idea about the usefulness of crypto when it comes on storing money because once a certain person does know the usage of it then it will surely switch and they wont use already the service of banks on storing their money which means they will really lose bank depositors and its really an disadvantage for them. |

i heard they sold the 50% during the presale, so what do we expact now? therr will be a big possibility that tokens will be sold out too once the ico begin..  high posibility the it will reach the maximum cap before the given date of the end of ICO. This is true, possibilities or chances on reaching out the maximum cap would really be high just only seeing on their pre-sale. I've heard of something happening on August 1st, I still don't know what it is. It seems to be dumping all coins.
Is it safe to say they'll continue to drop till the end of the month and then rebound in August?

No one knows on when the dumping would stop. It might dump until it reaches August 1 and theres no assurance that there would be a rebound after that particular date. If you do read out the important facts about August 1 event then you will surely know whats the cause of these price decrease on most coins in the market. Not only bitcoin but altcoins too. |

Maybe some altcoins is just for $$, not all altcoin is bad , there are too young right now , give them a few year and check back again, profit !
Not all altcoins are shit or junk coins but most of them look like not worth to buy. So before buying any of these altcoins should understand what is the use of these altcoins in the future and who is behind the development. If you like it then just buy such cheap coins and come back after a couple of years to see how much it has grown. If you buy good coins now then surely you will make a lot of profit in next one to two years time. And this would be the hardest part for most of us since we wont know on what would be the theb est coins out there do have the potential. If you are a complete newbie or does have only small knowledge on it then you would mostly end up on holding shitcoins. I agree on what you have said not all are junks but there are coins who do have the potential and its really worth to put up our money on. |

Seeing on those coins i dont have any idea or knowledge on those coins existence.If i do miss them which means i dont have interest on them since i do usually put my eyes on those coins who are on rankings. Possible pumps might really happen on each coin but the thing here is that we wont know on when it would happen. |

Do you think ICO is the best way to invest in?
It is but wont be the best choice or guarantee to make money later on.If you do tend to join up on ICO then be sure on jumping on the right project or else you will end up on being scammed if you do put your money on a shady ICO. Knowing that there are lots of projects do exist on the market do tend just to scam investors. Be wise as an investor for us to avoid disaster on our funds. |

Hello,
Altcoins seems like a great way to make some quick cash, but I am struggling to find a single exchange or trading platform where I can buy these coins.
Cryptopia has the most no of coins listed I think but their interface is not good at all, bad english on the site etc(makes me think if the owner is serious enough to run it or not). I am little noob in this field and any help will be appreciated.
I wonder how people buy the new coins that are released everyday, is there a secret exchange(lol).

You do plan to buy em all? Well im just kidding. Heres the best thing you should do if you are really serious. Register on an exchange site specially the reputable ones and if you didnt see the particular coin you do search then jump into another one. Remember there are lots of altcoin in the market and i would say no matter how rich you are if you tend to put money into all im sure it wont really be enough. Shitcoins are on pile and only a few do have the potential thats why its somehow senseless on asking all of altcoins. |

I was happy today as a cryptocurrency analyst seeing Ethereum become second largest crytocurrency in volume and price. Today Ethereum hit $300 and that is a sign that before the end of October we may be seeing eth trade over $500. Congrats to all investors.
Currently, the price of an Ethereum is about $ 300, I expect it will increase in the future as its current price is too low compared to such a developing virtual currency. However, I still do not believe it will reach $ 500 in October Wrong! the price of ETH is closer to $200 the post to which you replied was made last month when that was the real price,it means that during that time almost reached a fall of 1/3 of its value which is too much,now I think the price can stay at those levels for a longer time which I believe would be an advantage especially for investors of ETH,because in case the price continues to fall more could be worrisome for them. I think if the ETH price can be stable around $200 to 240 range, it is good for the long term health. the first comment of this page, explained things pretty nicely. the problem with ETH is the fact that its price is tightly tied with all the ICOs at the moment. it went up with their hype and then the bubble burst. now it is more like a time bomb waiting to explode as the ICOs start cashing out. and by that time "health" will no longer exist. and the worst part of all this is the fact that bitcoin price may go down by the end of this month depending on what happens. and we all know when that happens ETH and majority of altcoins drop hard. so you can expect another 50% drop for this coin by then. This is true,it goes all with the hype now specially on those eth-based ICO do popped up every now and then which do really add up on the price of ETH and as you said once the hype is over and starting to cashing out then expect price would really go down.Im not too negative on this coin but this is the things that i can able to view on whats happening on ETH environment. |

Hey, after everything i saw i know it's much work to start an ICO for a idea - but at least it looks better for me than a simple crowdfounding. So if the concept is ready, what steps and points does it need to open an ICO? Post your thoughts! When you see a new ICO thread its just normal for us to see those bounty task that it states but preparing those is the most crucial part and there are lots to consider first before you would decide to launch an ICO. First would be the project plan (whitepaper,roadmaps etc. ) It should really be appealing and do the best as you can that it will really put interest on potential investors on your project because if they would find out that your project wont really be worth at all then they will just easily neglect it. |

So it has begun. July 8th, LC hashing difficulty = 250k, July 9th 275k. This is a new high by just 3k, but probably an indication that some of the new ASIC Scrypt miners are finding homes in Mining farms across the land. I suspect by October the LC profitability Calcs will look dramatically different.
For you salty old mining vets, how do you think the evacuation of GPU miners in the face of the ASIC assault, will offset the hashing difficulty jumps? If any?
Don't complain. At least you are not mining ETH. That difficulty doubles every month. He would definitely feel when he tends to mine ETH. He would really make complains about Jumping difficulty almost everyday. Just as expected there are lots of people who do mine ETH thats why difficulty does increase more overtime and this time it will surely happen to LTC when people would decide to mine it too. Actually the down in the price of the ETH is not the reason of the 1 August , but reason behind the eth Down price is that the fake news about the death of the owner of the ETH coin ( which was get declared fake News officially ) .But before this fake news a real news was the technical problem in the algorithm chain of the ETH coin , which is not yet get repaired ( actually I didn't heard about the official announcement of the recover Of the network of the ETH anywhere ) . I think so! The price of ETH will rise until before August 1. I think this will be an aUdvantage because the currency is rising, other currencies want to compete also open campaigns to add value. A good opportunity for investors but having to solve this problem carefully will make the investment safe. It would really be a good advantage to its users specially on eth-based project since price do increase then expected it would really give positive effects on those projects. Predicting prices on this online world is so hard and there would really be lots of assumptions.My view regarding on ETH price would play around 150-200 but still im not sure if it would go that way.Lets just wait for august 1 lets see how would be affected. |

currently there is still chaos in the market trading because the price value is still not stable so there is some coins with prices declining, maybe this will be a good day to buy some coins for safekeeping while looking at the chart market movements so that you know the price will come back normally. We must be a little patient and appropriate in making decisions Be careful not to be wrong in making choices. Good luck Good choices can be identified when we are on profits but there are sometimes that making decision is really hard specially we dont know on where the prices would go on altcoin the same time on bitcoin too thats why we should really be wise on making decision because it does affect our profitability on doing trading. Because panic sell a lot of people, not just SIA, almost all the altcoin price is going down Correct, price depreciation is almost seens on most coins in the market and Siacoin isnt on the exception even Bitcoin itself which means theres a price correction and panic selling happening as of now thats why they are all on reds. It your own choice to trust this coin or not and bying a little more cheaper coin would really be ideal but we should wait a little further because if we buy now we wont know if it would still dig deep and would really cause negative portfolio for sure. |

People do believe on altcoin but most of them do only like on how they do earn money with it not actually on its actualy usage. Check the market as of now there are almost complete types of coins do exist which they do have their own projectiles on a new innovation but i still cant see that its being implemented or being majorly used. Alts do have a future but we should think off first about bitcoins future.
