1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the best crypto exchanges in the future... on: June 25, 2018, 07:05:56 PM
So yeah for me its just one more new exchange
Just like the other platforms, they collected funds to start working for their exchange and I've seen this before with kucoin and binance.
It's early to say about this exchange and they are still in progress but if they will be added to the crypto exchangers, it will benefit most of traders.
We will have another choice of an exchange where we can trade but it's still better to stick to a place that has better volume.
1742  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of BTC will drop to 4000 dollars? on: June 25, 2018, 06:29:00 PM
Currently BTC prices have been hovering at 6000, and if the BTC prices fell to $5000, $4000 should be not far off, the market is confirmed in the bear market
We have been in the bear market for how many months already and you haven't noticed it? No need for confirmation if we are in the bear market because it was already told by the market.
It was confirmed few months ago so we don't have to wait for the market to see.

want to rise to $20000, you may need a couple of years. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I want to see the rise again for $20,000 and it doesn't matter if I have to wait for few more years.
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoin to hold for long term? on: June 25, 2018, 06:03:24 PM
I wouldn't ask someone to shill their coins that are under $0.5. How you are trying to make yourself secure with what you are asking?
You want a cheap coin and ask that there's an assurance of it to grow in the future? What kind of question is that.
If there's an altcoin like that I wouldn't gladly tell it to you, there's no coin such like that, we are also in the bear market so it's hard to know.
But still there are a lot of coins which are of the type which the OP need but it need research. Theer are more than a thousands coin, some people know one coin and some know other like I know about ROC coin that it has started the growth. That is why this type of question help.
He's asking for a coin that will give you profit without any doubts and hesitation and that's impossible with the crypto market.
You know the volatility thing about coin and it's not about how cheap the coin is but it's all about the unstable pricing of every coin whether they are under $0.5.
What I want to say is there is no way to find out that such coins will have higher value in the future with less than a price of what OP is asking.

1745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask Hacking on: June 24, 2018, 10:35:56 PM
I tend to think that in every Security System the most weak part is human, so this is easier than anyway other, to fish a password From a person than to do it from the program.
I can't understand what you want to say. The most weak part is the user so that's what you want to say? that's correct, it depends to the user on how careful he is.
There is no perfect system and even the most secured one has it's flaws and openings for intruders but as long as it isn't exposed to the intruders, they are safe.
And if the user isn't so careful and he's so easy to catch through phishing websites, his keys, funds will be gone so fast.

Nothing on this world would really have that perfect system no matter how tough is the security and feature there would be always a flaw even just one but it do exist. Human error is the most common thing why these hacking exist. Hackers do take advantage on weakness of a certain person, getting important credentials wont really be hard if a certain user is careless. Metamask hacking its possible even though in the past they say this is a secure one.
Human error? what can be the human error that is the most common cause of these hacking? the programmer or security analysts didn't check everything so the hacking was just a human error?
Does those hackers knows everyone's weaknesses and especially those people who are maintaining the system of such websites?
Person's weakness isn't an excuse especially if there are many customers/users that are in threat with their funds, they are professional so why would person's weakness will be an excuse?

1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you tried setting up a Masternode? on: June 22, 2018, 11:51:01 AM
Not yet but I'm interested. I have watched some tutorials about it and I'm still figuring out and calculating the risk that I'm taking.
What I've learned is when you are able to choose a good coin that has a legit ROI and good volume, you'll make passive income.
Also it all depends on how much you are going to invest and it's not that easy as others thinking, there are some cheap capital but returns are too low, the higher the greater return but higher risk too.

I agree. Doing the proper research is definitely important. Crypto-coinz.net has a Masternode calculator that you can do some great research on. Also, if you need help setting up the Masternode, setupmasternodes.com is pretty helpful with some great reviews.
I have learned too that these calculators number are varying it's result so from time to time the value of profit will depends on the coins value.
Thanks for giving that link, do you have some set up of masternodes right now? how many of it?
Setting up masternodes isn't free too right? I've seen a youtuber that is offering that service so it's also part of something that everyone can earn by helping.

I do have some masternodes myself. The only costs to set up a masternode yourself is a monthly VPS and you need to buy the collateral coins necessary for the specific masternode you want to set up. The monthly VPS typically only costs about $5/month if you get it from DigitalOcean or Vultr. They can be difficult to set up however. That's why setupmasternodes.com has 3 different services. 1. They teach you how to set up the masternode. 2. They set up the masternode for you and then let you take care of it. 3. They host the masternode for you. Could you send me the link to that youtuber?
That's great, I'm still learning about it and it looks profitable as you have set up on your own. I have check that website you've given and I'm still thinking about it.
I've learned something new about today that there's a need for VPS and it's only cost that cheap.
The one that I watched was higher than that but there's no difference from your explanation to his, thanks for sharing!

1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Salary in BTC from the Israeli company Spot.IM on: June 22, 2018, 10:56:54 AM
Its good to see such adoption but question on my mind is that the company already embraced the risk of volatility of bitcoin?
They adopted bitcoin to pay their people with bitcoin so that can be an answer that they are all in to take the risk of bitcoin's volatility.

How they would able to handle or retain such price movement when its already dumping?
They are aware of it and it's either the owner or company bought a lot of bitcoin during the dip so they are prepared if there's a sudden price movement that leads to dump.
That company will not do such thing that they didn't conducted research before adopting.
1750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify Good and legit bounties on: June 22, 2018, 10:37:04 AM
Please i will like to ask the community what and what must I consider before joining a bounty campaign am still not clear on that.
Set yourself on what are the bounties that you want to join. Like if you know the bounty manager and you trust it because he has a good reputation, that can be one factor.

And I got to know not all Bounties are good to join.
Well that's true, not all of them are good to join.

From experience all my effort on metal Factory was a waste as the thread was removed and my 3 weeks posting and sharing was all for nothing.
That means they violated a rules against the forum and their thread was removed because of not abiding the forum rules.

1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where track my ERC-20 tokens on: June 21, 2018, 10:38:39 AM
Hello, I have a lot of ERC-20 tokens which are not listed on coinmarketcap but many of them are listed on IDEX, DDEX, EtherDelta or any other small exchange..
Idex is a good exchange IMO so what's on your mind if those ERC20 tokens you've got are "only" listed there?

Do you know about some portfolio app where I only put my ethereum address and the app shows me each token value?
Thank you!
Like what others said, only ethplorer or etherscan is what you can use to check those ERC20 tokens value on your wallet.
And coinmarketcap isn't the only website that you can use to track those tokens that you got, there are other similar/alternative websites like cryptocompare.
1752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee will not promote ICO anymore on: June 21, 2018, 09:56:19 AM
It is a better decision for him and much better if he will not let himself to be part of any advertising/marketing that aims to shill that way.

Thre are many fake icos i see novadays which add his picture in team section
That's how popular he is and these ICOs are using his name and picture and will say that they are being advertised by McAfee.
I also doubt it that he is even reading the whitepapers of those ICOs before because he's getting easy bucks for his few words and by simply tweeting it.
1753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty on: June 21, 2018, 09:46:47 AM
Don't be deceived with the rewards that they are giving or the equivalent of it in USD.
Not all of it that has high rewards are also legit, they are using the attitude of being greed to catch some participants that are willing to advertise their project.
But in the end, they are going to pay no one. You can't say a bounty is legit and it's hard to pick which is the best one if you don't do your research.
1754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For the love of... don't keep your coins on exchanges on: June 21, 2018, 09:24:05 AM
People never learn of keeping off their funds on exchanges. They are thinking that the security of that exchange shall be enough to protect their funds.
But once these hackers started to go through the backdoor, all of these funds where off and gone through their pocket.
It's not bad to put a small amount to an exchange so you won't be itching the small transfer fees but make sure that it is acceptable if its lost.

I don't know why people keeps on doing this although there are many warnings what will happen on doing such and also there are many example that they lost their funds. Exchanges is not liable if ever your funds are lost. They told you to not do so because it still have vulnerabilities.
There are reasons behind it, they want to stay it on exchanges so whenever they want to day trade there's no need to send from their wallets to exchange.
They can also be irritated with the fees so instead of keeping it to the wallet and transfer it from time to time, they just let it stay.
And the last thing is they are trusting the exchange that much although we have reminded them all that don't let your coins stay to an exchange, it's very dangerous and not recommended.

1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin go down again after these small bounces? on: June 20, 2018, 08:20:33 PM
Do you think that the market will go down again after these small bounces?
Yes, don't remove that possibility that if ever the market goes up and have some small bounces, it's impossible for it to go down.
Bitcoin goes up, small dips come but after that there will be a bigger increase.

I expect that the market will go down after the bounces, because the 1D chart is still not looking really good right now. Let me know what you guys think.
Don't just look at the 1 day chart of it. Considering all the charts and possibly the week charts can give you better analysis on where it is leading.
1759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe Ethereum can outlast Bitcoin in the future? on: June 20, 2018, 08:08:26 PM
For me, I don't think that Ethereum can beat Bitcoin as the Number One in the crypto market
Ethereum is unique while bitcoin has also it's own feature. We don't have to think about replacing the throne of bitcoin.
There were too many threads out there that wants to discuss this thing but just to answer this, bitcoin won't get down by any altcoin or even Ethereum.

bitcoin is bitcoin and remains the first
Yeah it is the first and major cryptocurrency and it's not that so easy to push out of its spot.
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Altcoin below ICO price rise again after falling? on: June 19, 2018, 09:58:36 PM
Hello, please I want to know if an altcoin which has fallen below the ICO price can rise again and yield profit.
I have up to 3 coins which has fallen below the ICO price and kinda nervous. Should I SELL or HODL?
What are those ICO tokens that you bought during their sale? you can indicate on how much you bought them and let's see if they are reliable and believable in terms of road map and market cap.
You're kind of nervous because you didn't conduct a proper research before investing to these ICOs or you are late of dumping these.
Cut loss if you can't take it anymore but first, let us know what are these tokens and how much you invested to them.
