1761  Other / Politics & Society / FIFA World cup craziness like Bangladesh on: November 30, 2022, 10:01:28 PM
When FIFA world cup gets started, you will see flags of Brazil and Argentina everywhere in Bangladesh. In urban area, almost all the roof will be full of flags of favorite team while in the rural areas, it's a bit low but still the chaos is everywhere. Most people buy jersey of their favorite team. Everyone watches the matches with their friends, social media is full of Brazil vs Argentina chaos. In fact, the main topic of the country is World Cup and Brazil/Argentina.
I personally love Football the most but I don't like all these chaos other than cheering for my supporting country.
I would appreciate if you shared how your country take the FIFA world cup, how much excitement is there. It would be better if you attached your country name.
1762  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why Mostly Betting Platforms promote their Website through Signature Compaign? on: November 30, 2022, 09:52:33 PM
You know how much visitors are here in bitcointalk. Casinos take the advantages. Besides, from what I have learnt so far, bitcointalk has a lot of high rollers. To get those gamblers, running signature campaign, building the reputation among the community is must for casinos.

Well, I'm a bit of confused. Did you by any chance mean why we promote casinos as it harms the general?
1763  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nolimit365.com | Sports ⚽ | Casino 🎰 | Poker ♣♠♥♦ on: November 27, 2022, 10:36:55 AM
Welcome.
By any chance, are you a part of bet365? It looks like them.
It says you have a 250 EURO deposit bonus. But have a requirement of wagering 17x time on sportsbet with a minimum odd of 1.90, I think this is quite hard.
Buy a copper membership to present the ANN in more professionally with a great design.
1764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine the condition of people today if they had invested on Bitcoin in 2015 on: November 26, 2022, 07:57:31 AM
I have told this many times. There were a lot of people who had a few thousands of bitcoin back in the days. But does that mean they hold till now? There are a very few percentage of people who have hold all these days. They have become millionaire with a very small amount. But most of the early investor have sold their bitcoin with 10x, 100x, 1000x maybe. It's not easy to gain such huge return. People will be tempted to sell when they will have this huge return.
1765  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to get bitcoins for free? on: November 26, 2022, 07:53:46 AM
participating in airdrops and so on.
Back in the day, earlier 2017 was a great time for claiming free airdrops and get some good amount for doing simple tasks. In return, you would get some altcoin which you could sell for bitcoin. But these days, airdrops worth nothing. I haven't participated in any airdrop in the last few year, haven't heard any airdrop to give a good amount too. Anything you are looking for free, is a waste of time these days.

1767  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Failed to parse text on: November 25, 2022, 03:08:52 AM
My guess is the image-to-text tool that you've used has faulty character recognition and mistook some of the address' character(s).
...or you've included the dot.
What should I say? You are making me confused whether I have sent BTC in the right address or not because I can't check the address one by one character.
Kidding, the address was okay. I paid bitcointalk forum evil fee for two unknown users, one of them was able to write post. That means, the address was a correct one.

Welcome here.
It seems like you are for some days already but only now created the ANN? ANN seems great. I will also check out the casino.
You have different telegram for poker, games etc as I can see. That's great.

Beside this, I recommend you to run marketing campaign here including signature campaign. Feel free to PM me here it you are interested to run some campaign and get some good buzz around.
1769  Other / Meta / Re: ProxyBan of Some New Forum Members. on: November 24, 2022, 08:10:15 AM
How do you do that? I know some users can but I can not remember how it's done LOL
Anyone can if they have the address. Just send the required fee to the address mentioned. That's it. You have to do nothing else.

You already did your part by introducing them to this forum. If they are serious enough about crypto, they will pay the fees for unban. So leave this decision to them.
Not everyone knows about the forum. His friends thought it's scam forum which is asking for money for using the forum. I think it's good to let them get in the forum by paying little fees.
1770  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Failed to parse text on: November 24, 2022, 04:38:30 AM
Make sure you are either inputting the address fully as uppercase or lowercase.
Is an address case sensitive? I think I'm missing something here. For example, look at this address- 3AvG5ZHsgHkdeFadmKqkWoym87nkvRWWHY
The bold character is in small letter in the original address which I wanted to send fund. When I tried with capital letter, it returned me the above error. While changing this into small letter was okay and I was able to send. I don't know if I have sent in the wrong address or not. Lol. Check the addresses here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5422907.msg61339464#msg61339464

Have you checked the same address in a block explorer to see if it is valid?
I just checked. When I tried with capital W, it said the address doesn't exist while when I tried with small letter w, it was the same address where I sent fund.
1771  Bitcoin / Electrum / Failed to parse text on: November 24, 2022, 01:57:49 AM
I was trying to extract two address from an image which I did through the help of an online tool. After that, I copied the address from the text file and paste in the electrum recipient section for sending BTC. But it says "Failed to parse text". What does that exactly mean and why this happens? I had the exact address on the clipboard if I'm correct as later I had checked them manually.

1772  Other / Meta / Re: ProxyBan of Some New Forum Members. on: November 24, 2022, 01:35:55 AM
Can you please post the addresses here? I just had extracted by image to text converter but when I wanted to paste in electrum, it says "Failed to parse text: Address". I would have removed the proxy if you had shared the addresses. You can PM me too.

Edit-

1773  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Discussion] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆 on: November 24, 2022, 01:17:55 AM
I'm talking about sincere newbies who are making a positive contribution in their own way and have yet to reach the 50 merits benchmark but would like to vote because they are familiar with the categories and deserving candidates and have been here for a long time.
Really? If someone is making positive contribution for a long time but haven't received the 50 merits benchmark and still a newbie, they will be spammer in 99%, 1% exception. Lately, I haven't see any such member from a local board even.
1774  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Discussion] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆 on: November 23, 2022, 06:26:26 PM
I have gone through a few submission in the meta and find it hard sometimes why people have picked this member or that member. In few categories, I think linking would be great.
I'm trying to find everything from bitcointalk. Since it's "Bitcointalk Community Awards", I think "event of the year", "fail of the year" or some more categories in which people are picking something outside of bitcointalk, should be taken from the forum.

I think miss bitcointalk is a category we should not have from the next years.
It should be lol.

1775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cathie wood says 1 btc $1m by 2030 how possible? on: November 23, 2022, 05:03:58 PM
Who is Cathie Wood? Why her opinion matters? I really have no idea who she is to be honest. However, I wouldn't say it's possible or not, John Mcafee had told the same long ago though that didn't happen. It's very much possible when everyone will be able to use Bitcoin as their daily medium of expenses. When will it happen? No one knows.
1776  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin wallets that support replace-by-fee (RBF) on: November 23, 2022, 07:06:54 AM
Though I'm not familiar with most of them as I'm only using Electrum and Bitcoin Core for now, this is a helpful one. Thanks for this.

Note: No close source wallet mentioned, if there is any, let me know so I can edit and correct it. No custodial wallet mentioned, because of obvious reason of not your key not your coin.
What did you mean? Does any custodial wallet allow you increase the fee by any form? I can't remember if I have seen any such services or not. Also, it doesn't make a lot of sense either because custodial services usually cut higher fee than average and send with a higher fee as they send in batch.
1777  Economy / Speculation / Re: New to Bitcoin, here's your FAQ: Who should I trust and whom not? on: November 22, 2022, 04:01:44 PM
But what you should know is that Tera Luna doesn't influence Bitcoin and let's say it does it won't be very substantial. It's actually the other way round, for example Bitcoin is dominant and it's situation determine the outcome of the crypto-currency market.
I don't think so. There was a significant fall of Bitcoin when Terra issue created and so does when recent FTX issue was. Such major chaos in crypto market definitely influence bitcoin price as it creates fear in the overall market. In a normal market, without any such chaos from alt, altcoin follows the bitcoin generally.
1778  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 100bit.co.in - Suggest features to make the portal better on: November 22, 2022, 02:55:06 PM

Difficult to get BDT data for last 10 years. Please lemme know if you find it somewhere.
I'm not really sure what you are looking for exactly. However, here's one site- https://www.xe.com/currencycharts/?from=BTC&to=BDT&view=10Y
You can see the last 10 years price chart in BDT for BTC. I think this can help you. Not sure if you can get data from them or not. They have API for currency but that's a paid tool. I can help you of course if the fee is reasonable for me. Please check if anything is possible from this.
It would be great if you get data from Binance p2p for the last year but that's something would be difficult as far as I know.
1779  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Will Be bottom Of BTC in 2022 Year ( Current Price= $16000 ) on: November 22, 2022, 02:36:11 PM
Interesting, I'm seeing quite a lot of 12k estimates for bottom buying. Personally, don't think it's possible without another major item of negative news, but also feel that if we do see 12k from current estimates, then it might just trigger further downsides given just how jittery the entire market even outside of crypto is -- the bounce from there should be just as spectacular though?
I just want to get in with the balance I have now for buying BTC. If I see $12k, I will be all in. Otherwise, I'm following my strategy to buy in DCA method. Well, it's very possible to get further dip once it hit $12k, I'm not expecting instant bounce back or even a bounce back within a year. As I said, I just want to get rid of my USDT I have for buying BTC and I would be happy to get the maximum from the budget. So, it doesn't matter a lot for me even if BTC gets further dip from $12k.
1780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's FIFA World Cup 22 Prediction Pool Discussion thread on: November 22, 2022, 02:32:02 PM

Will it work out like that again against Poland and Mexico? I honestly don't think so.
No one expected this result. I have predicted 4-1 win for Argentina, if I'm correct, no one in the pool even predicted Saudi will score. It wasn't luck of course. They played better, specially they defended better. If you look at their last few matches score, you will find that they didn't concede a lot of goals. Most of the games ended up conceding zero goal or one.
This match will certainly boost up their confidence. Anything can happen. I wouldn't if they manage to win one more match or get a draw against both team.

On current match, Denmark was expected to be one of the best teams in this world cup. Their win against France and consistency was signalling something. They are favorite but still having hard times to score against Tunisia. Would it be another shock tonight?
