1761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason why I put all my money in Bitcoin as a newbie on: June 11, 2022, 09:40:38 PM
Putting everything into Bitcoin may seem to be the smartest move to make to secure your investment for long-term purposes, but the truth of the matter is diversification is a very important attribute of an investment. So I will still suggest you rethink and make your portfolio up of quality assets that have long-term goals.
No it wasnt a smartest move because going all in is never been a good thing to be done by someone but surprisingly there are people who do really consider out on making such step because they are really that

hopeful and expecting something positive towards Bitcoin which because of that kind of positivity they do really consider on taking out such action on putting or going all in.

Being a noob wont really be an excuse if ever you would be committing out some errors but its not actually a bad act of risk taking i would say.
1762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA's downfall scare away investors from the crypto market? on: June 11, 2022, 05:07:08 PM
Anyway, the market has full of potential so why focus on the Luna negativity? Instead, we must explore something new and find a way to counter this Luna dilemma, why not invest in a Gold token it's a Stablecoin backed by Gold in 99.99 percent purity it's a long-term project thats why it's safe.
We should not always focus in one stream, coin or investment always have some backup. It’s good to invest in crypto if we know how to trade and sight a good coin. There is risk like investing with Luna and it will be a lesson learned to extra be careful and to monitor properly our investment same with any type of investment may it be gold, real estates or etc. We must know where we are putting our money and the risk it have.
Always Set a Plan B or C or even more whenever you do make out investment because not all would really be a successful one which means that you do need to have some good plans on how you would gonna

handle yourself on various situations.Does LUNA incident will really scare away investors? No.... We've seen lots in the past and some of them didnt still learn from those past mistakes
thats why they do continue to play with fire or into those projects which doesnt even have that actual utility or potential or simply being driven with hype.
I dont know on what they do really love to consider it out.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino Trends For 2022 on: June 11, 2022, 03:26:57 PM
  • Land-based casinos trending downwards

Trending downwards? Isn't it just common that land-based casinos become not usable in the meantime because of the pandemic? Count for several years before we can say that land-based casinos are not that pleasing to anybody anymore. Most of the land-based casinos just become fully operational about a year now and others are just slowly starting again.

Let them catch up first. We can't conclude that as a trend for 2022. We are just half of the year before concluding anything.
Online casinos had starting on opening up their doors once again considering that pandemic had started to go down or almost gone which we know that there would be still people or gamblers who would really be

much prefer on playing on offline casinos thats  why i dont really see for some downtrend or becoming unpopular but cant really be denied that people can really play online without the need on going
into these physical places.

Lets just think about co-existence and do serve out different market for different sets of people/'gamblers.
1764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? on: June 08, 2022, 10:50:16 PM
Do you think countries worldwide will ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? If not, why? If mining is banned, do you think Bitcoin will switch to PoS? Will it still survive being a PoW cryptocurrency? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
You know that certain countries will follow in terms of decisions of the majority. Some might be in neutral or would go opposite but in vast decisions then they would go in line with other countries decisions.

Environmental issues are just bullshit things that they do really throw into bitcoin without even thinking into other things which had been a long time problem in terms of environmental.

This is really just showing off  that they do really hate up bitcoin and now even with the slightest energy consuming issues will really be tagged about being bad in the environment.LOL!
1765  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Signal to Start Trading and the Signal to Close Trading on: June 08, 2022, 09:48:54 PM

Signal is just what can make a trader to fail, it makes them weak, not able to learn, they use the signal first and they may make profit, but in the long run, they will only see that they lose than gain if the net profit is calculated. Some signals are paid for and yet used but failed. I do advice people not to make use of trading signals, copy trading and the use of bots. Learn is very important for traders, using low amount for some months and they can increase it if they are begining to make profit.
Perhaps, we can do it by ourselves rather than relying on others pretending their signals are accurate and working. We can't be fools, we know the market situation and its volatility, and not even the crystal could see it through, therefore, believing these signal groups is way no better and only leads us to lose our confidence.

Whether it was paid signal or not, they are not reliable actually. Anyone who has been in the market can make his/her own judgment. We can predict however we don't also think it gonna be right, it was just a market presumption, not really the things to happen.

We are all just speculators and its really that normal that those guesses and predictions wont be 100% accurate and its true that it would be more worth if you do make your own analysis rather than on relying into
someone when it comes to this because it wont really be that regretful in case you do lose money compared when you do follow someone and then he lost those trades which would result into loss of money
then its better to be relying with your own analysis rather than into be that relying on someones prediction and call which is something not that far apart if we do make on our own.
Market is unpredictable and theres no way that someone could claim  that they do know on where it would be heading.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet on: June 08, 2022, 08:36:28 PM
recently I've come across some information for an upcoming soccer match and I'd like to place a big bet of 50-100k, how easy would it be for me to take out a loan and how long would it take? has anyone else done something like this?

feel free to message me or comment below  Smiley
First do have the collateral equivalent of the loan you about to take? Taking a loan with such amount will require lots of assessments like source of income, assets, Creditworthiness and guarantor. But how on earth will you think of taking such a huge loan on a bet have thought of the risk carefully?
Doesnt really make sense right? How someone do really consider out on taking a huge loan just for him to make out some bets or simply gambling? If you are on your right mind then for sure you wont be considering

such step and its true that acquiring such big amount loan isnt something simple that someone could really be able to comply. The amount is huge which banks and other business firms will definitely

be looking into something which do really correlate on the amount that you are requesting or taking up some loan.If you cant provide on whats been asked then expect on what would be the approval which
would be surely declined.
1767  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the golden rule of investment? on: June 07, 2022, 07:52:06 PM
Always learn how to carry out your personal research before investing your money on a particular project, because it will really help you to identify the type of project you are investing. Don't be an hurry to sell your coins whenever you see people rushing to the market to sell than to study the market price very well, if it is favourable at the moment for someone to sell and make a good profit or to hold to avoid losses from the market. Do everything possible to observe all the rules that guided crypto investment because it will really help you to remain in profit making in the community.
Whenever you do make out some investment then its just sensible that you would really be making out some research first before taking any step further because that would really in resulting into that

loss of money if you do really let just yourself to be that careless when it comes to selection plus having those other considerations which is a must.If you dont put up some focus or attention to it then it would

surely cost you.Invest on what you can afford to lose and never ever tend to make yourself impulsive because this would greatly affect you.
1768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the beggars in cryptocurrency casinos on: June 07, 2022, 07:00:07 PM
I have never begged to send tips from anyone, ever, even with friends. That's just not healthy.
An individual who gambles means he should have enough money for his habit/hobby. It matters how much it is and it also matters when to stop.
If he wants to play more but doesn't have the capability to do it anymore then that's a sign to stop or take a rest.
You on the other hand who is just trying to be kind or some may think being "unwise" is tolerating that idea and he will not stop as long as you are giving it away.
Not really that bad to give out some tips but this is actually depends on someones preference or interest yet there are really some people who do really love on doing this despite whether his losing or winning but

most of the time it would really be that on winning state or condition on why people could really make out such move. Its indeed not necessary but for the sake of liking on doing something then its their choice to

make. You could really expect for someone to have those kind of behavior whenever they do see big winners around neither offline or online.
1769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, you put your money in your luna if it gets forked? on: June 06, 2022, 11:47:05 PM
What is the main purpose of the LUNA fork? To rise up their value again?
Well, actually LUNA has experienced very hard things, but fortunately, this coin could survive and has its value again. But, I am not sure about the fork. Investing in this kind of coin is still very risky. It can survive right now but if this happens again, will this survive again?
I cannot take higher risks than I can afford. It is enough to buy LUNA at that time and get some profits. but I personally don't hold them for long term investment. We still remember how this crashed extremely
luna classic shouldn't deserve being called surviving with that kind of valuation honestly, their value has been going down ever since to the state of no saving.
you see the fact that the team just decide making a fork means that luna classic is already beyond saving, and it gonna requires tremendous amount of capital just for keeping its value let alone rising it back to its former glory.
the fork is like a solution that doesn't require capital, they just trying to make a new brand for luna, but alas the valuation for the new forked luna is also very low.
They are just trying it to save via having that lunac which i dont really even see the point on why people do keep on supporting this coin but seeing into its value then its not really that surprising that it had a bad

drop just like into that mother coin which it did go fall down as 0% into its value and i dont see any reason that they would still get the same support that they had get earlier or just like on what luna achieved

in all of the situations happened which is the worst then its no surprise that people are way too wise as of this moment and never again touch it up.
1770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I buy BTC or DCA other coins? on: June 06, 2022, 10:47:37 PM
Now the question is, should I buy BTC (currently I don't have any BTC) or should I do DCA for ETH, SOL or DOT?
BTC is the first choice and the main asset to have for investment. The value is clear enough with that high market cap. Although nobody knows the future, Bitcoin has the biggest chance to rise up and create a new ATH in the future.

If you think it is enough to have BTC, you may diversify again your money into some altcoins with higher risks if you want. ETH and DOT are also my choices. But never follows what other people do. Just make your own research from now.
Make bitcoin as your main where you do accumulate as much as you could and also whenever it do declines its price then i would be mainly minding about DCA'ing bitcoin and whenever i do see some opportunity on

some altcoins then this is where i do make out some consideration on taking some altcoins for me to invest on but of course it would really be depending on your funds since this one requires capital.

Not all does have the capital to invest on thats why you should really be wise on making out decisions something like this whether it would result into positive or not.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PROS AND CONS OF CRRYPTOGAMBLING. on: June 06, 2022, 09:39:27 PM

Countries that banned gambling wouldn't ban it for no reason. I believe that they have huge reasons for banning gambling in their country regardless of the huge taxes that they could get from it. Once they ban it, I don't think they aren't firm with their decision. Banning also has pros and cons in each country and I'm sure that the government focuses on the cons that made them ban it.

You can defiantly ban gambling in a country like placing ban on casinos and blocking online casinos but there is no way you can ban crypto gambling. The biggest pros of crypto gambling is that it opens window of gambling for people living in gambling restricted region. But the other side of this advantage is that kids under 18 years are also getting addicted of gambling. I would say crypto gambling has more side effects then good effects.
That is correct - but the countries where gambling is banned. People find another to entertain themselves through crypto gambling and hence they get a few extra bucks, once they are finished these people return to the place again for work.
A never ending story,right?

People would never ever learn and instead of saving up those money or funds for something better or priorities. They do instead spend it up all in gambling which is something i dont see for it to be that worth i would

say on which you are doing hard work just for spending it all in an instant which we know that this isnt something that ideal specially if you do have responsibilities specially on having a family.
gambling is for fun and never ever tend to go beyond the border line specially on spending up money which is more than that you can afford to lose.
1772  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: June 06, 2022, 08:37:29 PM
An average Joe can start with trying to cultivate the land to plant and harvest his own food. That is in my opinion, the best way to avoid starving to death. In doing so, the average Joe can cultivate and plant crops for his personal consumption and cool also plant some cash crops to sell and buy whatever  cannot provide for himself.
It's also wise for the average Joe to stock up on grains as much as as he cold. Those are easier to store and keep for a long while.
It's just best to be self-reliant.
Save up a bit. Try to have your own small kitchen garden where you can get a handful of vegetables daily. So you can save a bit.
Try to save water - use biodegradable items. and live a minimalist life. Follow the life style less is more.
Easy to say and it might look that easy but people isnt really get used to this kind of lifestyle wherever they do consider on having such change but if they are really that serious then it could really be done.

Its up to someones dedicative approach on this kind of goal specially on a crisis which making such step would really be that relevant. Its up to us whether we do start on doing it now or would really just

simply wait on things to become worst before doing or taking such action.WE do have our own plans in life some might really be get influenced by others idea but its up to you on where you would
be following.
1773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank and it ignorance on Bitcoin on: June 06, 2022, 07:35:46 PM
I wonder how long does this kind of people would stick to their kinda principle-like when trusting Bitcoin or maybe they're just following the trend because just like what you said they don't want to lose their clients.  tellculvers com survey taco bell breakfast hours

The truth is we can separate Bitcoin from the centralized currency, that is to say, Bitcoin must co-exist with the bank to make it more effective and its transaction solidifies, but the central bank doesn't seem to understand this spoint and are always quit to move against Bitcoin there giving it a blanket view.

The fact is most of the bank's executives have little knowledge about Bitcoin's peaceful coexistence with the traditional currencies.

You dont know if they are actually doing something which would oppose into its utility yet we know that government doesnt really like decentralization or anonymous which means that it is really going against their

preference even though they arent that knowledgeable or fully aware on what it is all about but knowing it wont really be that hard for them to do so which is something not surprising.

We cant call them ignorant but once they do say something which is out of the context then its normal to have these kind of reactions.
1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: friendly and profitable board for beginners, have you realized it? on: June 05, 2022, 11:46:33 PM
~

and i also like to read other threads on this board, i feel entertained and have an idea about any sport.

how about you, since getting to know the gambling thread or getting to know the bitcointalk forum?
I'm happy with your win. yap bitcointalk is a great forum, I myself have also proven that just by reading posts about football in this gambling section, I have won several bets

I feel grateful to know this forum, so that I can have quite extensive knowledge about cryptocurrencies and others (sports betting)
We are all grateful for this forum when it comes in overall knowledge and share up which do came from other community members which is really that beneficial i would say but of course it would really be depending

on where your interest do sets in but we do have different threads specially on different sports which you could check it out.Depends if you do follow up their suggestions or not but as long you could read up

any analysis attached to it then it is really something worth for you to read on unlike on making out some bets without any basis is something i dont really like.
1775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Platform? on: June 05, 2022, 10:47:59 PM
If you are new to trading I would suggest to create an account in Kucoin , Crypto.com or Binance so you dont have to worry about the gas fee. If you have a long term mindset in investing I would suggest to go to pancakeswap but it is a little bit technical to learn.
Binance is a good option for every newbie, this is very friendly and you can easily understand how this platform works but without any trading knowledge, I believe you will still find it hard no matter what exchanges you are using so better start learning how to trade first. Choosing trading platform should only be your second priority since learning should always comes first.
Binance all the way when it comes to trading platform yet you could really make some switch from basic to advanced users when it comes to charting which simply means that it is really noob friendly i can say.

Also, this is one of the most famous crypto platforms that we do have today and there's no doubt on that and this is why they are getting that much popularity of this community because they offer

the best service in terms of functionalities which the crypto community do really look for and also there's kucoin which is also good.
1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Proposal for LUNA on: June 05, 2022, 09:51:47 PM
It's better to stop thinking about luna and should move on. . Burn is funny think right now when luna has crossed billion of supply. People still can buy million of luna with few dollars and do you think after burn, luna even able to cross 1$? Never. Actually There's no proposal, no way, there's nothing that could make everything normal as before. The end of luna is already end.
Everything that goes or having that history of huge dump which is 0% and trying to get back up from that situation and now creating that 2.0 for the sake of sustaining the hype then its better to stay away from this project.

I dont see any relevance nor being that worth for this one for someone to risk or dive on.Yes, you could potentially earn big with small amounts of  investment but to think on the things that they have
done then i dont see a reason for us to trust them on second time around.

In speaking with utility then i dont even see the relevance or the potential of this project.
1777  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: June 05, 2022, 09:13:57 PM
It is based on luck but we don't go all in single bet and call it a day after win/loss. What we want is keep playing and enjoy time, without proper bankroll management it is not going to happen.
Going all-in or yolo gambling is actually my favorite strategy to be honest. I use this strategy in games with low house edge like dice, blackjack(Optimal strategy), Baccarat etc and won more than I lost.

This makes sense considering the fact that it's possible to beat the house in the short-term(Not in the long-term). I don't use this strategy whenever I want to extend my sessions.
I wouldn't recommend it, but not like we could stop other people from doing anything they wish. If you go all in, then you are going to either win big, or lose out and have absolutely nothing else to do.

The next logical step is either to quit gambling all together which I assume you didn't by the looks of it, or deposit again, hence it wasn't really an all-in, whenever you got some money, you just wager big, and that is basically regular gambling with just bigger intervals. I highly suggest gambling for many hours, I promise you that it is much more fun because that way you will have bunch of losses but you will also have bunch of wins too.
If you do base up on what you had said then going all-in is situation but if he does like to have extended periods of time on playing gambling then he wont do such thing which is common sense.

The thing i dont like on having that all in behavior is that you do directly stop once you do lost and even on winning you wont still stop until you do lost it all which is something always be the case.
Play according to your interest and as long you do enjoy it and as long you do see that you are profiting than losing then i dont see the issue.
1778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin thrives on education and self-sovereignty on: June 05, 2022, 07:37:59 PM

Everything in this world is made up by people that are no smarter than us, like steve jobs said. We can do this if we all stick together.

Satoshi did his part, and now it’s our part to finish the job.

There’s nothing that can stop us anymore, if we all do our individual proof of work. We entered this world with nothing and will leave it with nothing again. The only thing that will be remembered about us is how we used our time, and if we only chased wealth, we do the same thing that billions are doing rn and no one will give af. So let’s finish the job satoshi and the other bitcoiners started and actually do something for the world.

It has become the duty of each one so that Bitcoin remains the only one that has contributed greatly to our financial achievements to this day. We are the stump control for owned wallets. But avoiding using KYC at this time will be very difficult. As I am under the government's financial monitoring, I cannot ensure that what I hold is free without monitoring. Satoshi's job is to give us a path of choice that no one has ever offered.
And that what makes Bitcoin to be unique which it did really give out that kind of opportunity or benefit in terms of being decentralized and anonymous plus having the chance on earning profits which i do see it as a

bonus which is something that cant really be ignored but in overall in speaking with utility then there's no doubt on what Bitcoin is all about. It might be that hard on some part since government doesnt really just let

loose into crypto space without doing something thats why we are seeing that regulations become even more strict and tight but doesnt mean that we are losing that primary intent that had been created from the start.
1779  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: June 04, 2022, 11:58:30 PM
If the cashless policy could make all the transactions lighter and better then it would be better to embrace it. Though there are lots of cons, I don't think we should fear them and focus on the digital innovations that could change even the economic situation of each country. However, people especially from third world countries still need enough education about how it works. There are still people who aren't equipped or even have internet access in their locations.
Why not? Embracing a cashless society isnt really that a bad idea but of course there would be lots of things needed up to be arranged first before these things to be fully implemented but
we do still have those doubts considering that government wouldnt really just simply let cryptocurrency would take place. If ever we do make out that kind of change
then citizens would really be just simply adapting on whats there but for now everything would be still lit but there are possibilities.
1780  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: June 04, 2022, 10:58:47 PM
This could be an effective approach but I guess even if we boycott the Russian gambling platforms, it still couldn't stop the war because aside from taxes from gambling, they still have lots of resources to support their current war. Innocent lives are already suffering from what is happening to their country but I believe that this too shall pass. The sad thing is, that this war could continuously take more lives.
Although it did not have any effect on Russia from the boycott of the gambling platform but it is only a small effort on our part not to support war on Ukrainian territory. I hope the war will end soon because many soldiers and civilians have fallen victim to the war without knowing when it will end.

You're right. We must think about this.

According to experts from the Yale Institute, almost 1,000 companies have publicly announced they are voluntarily curtailing operations in Russia to some degree beyond the bare minimum legally required by international sanctions.
source: https://som.yale.edu/story/2022/almost-1000-companies-have-curtailed-operations-russia-some-remain

This will not seriously affect the country’s economy, because there are still a lot of companies working in Russia and Russia is a country rich with resources. But it’s an obvious political step, which is very important. And, it's an obvious step from a human point of view.

Might not be that big but if there are lots who do make the same step then for sure it would make some toll but cant really be denied that Russia is really indeed rich for them to sustain out this war for long
despite of the sanctions that its been facing.
This doesnt only talk on gambling industry but also in other industries as well on which there are steps which had been made and some of them do get along on international sanctions and steps that had been made.
Even how hard we do make out some support of boycott but it wont really be that enough on stopping this war or crisis.
