Just wait to go on cryptsy and will explode

It's 50/50 if a coin will explode on Cryptsy or not. Some coins actually lose value sometimes going on there too early.
1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Promising Altcoins for 2014 on: January 02, 2014, 07:47:22 AM
Not really coins, but the DAC's from PTS. I guess eMunie, if it's truly a successful PoS.

I'd like to see coins that have a purpose of ideal usage in the form of services, products and true creativity. Not meme coins and spam coins....

Guess my notoriety=0...LOL
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 1GH.COM - MemoryCoin 2.0 MMC Pool - GPU Mining on: January 02, 2014, 07:07:37 AM
I have an issue just similar to the guy with the HD 6950, but with my HD 6970 2GB. I read in the bitshares forum that Reorder is working on it, but does not own a HD 5000/6000 series card to test it. Strange that it won't work with the older card since they use same drivers.
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MemoryCoin 2.0 (MMC) - Now With GPU Pool Mining on: January 02, 2014, 06:43:23 AM

I'm getting ZERO accepted with my HD 6970 2GB card at 14~15 hpm. Seems like I'm never able to mine this damn coin, cpu and/or gpu...LMFAO!!!

I noticed that Reorder, the author of the GPU miner, has said there is a problem with the 6xxxx series cards.

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=1784.msg21095#msg21095

I think he's working on it....

Would be great. Now I'm getting crazy numbers now when I execute it, 280~400 hpm with continuous rejects...LOL

I have a feeling it's software related and just need a miner optimized for HD 5000 and HD 6000 series.
1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MemoryCoin 2.0 (MMC) - Now With GPU Pool Mining on: January 02, 2014, 05:41:50 AM
Is there any info out there on the GPU mining of MMC?  I know reorder posted about it in another topic, but it seems that there are enough pools offering it now that the source is most likely released somewhere.

What other pools offer GPU mining?

I suggested they release the source for solo miner farms but only one pool is available. I'm getting all rejects with my GPU anyway.

my 270 is at A/R/T = 433/30/37

A = accepted
R = rejected
T = timeout?

Am I reading that right?  Is that good or too many rejects?

Normal

%86 accept
%6 reject
%8 timeout

At least your mining, I take half my speed just to mine....LOL

More likely either an architecture issue with the harware and/or software related. But, I'm leaning towards software, as the miner might be optimized for HD 7000's series and not the HD 5000's or HD 6000's. I would assume that a miner would work with the two older generation cards since they all share similar drivers and/or openGL.
1787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOON] Mooncoin: You know where it's headed! WE HAVE LIFTOFF! on: January 02, 2014, 05:08:38 AM
How do I sign up for coinex? Tried to click 'Create Account' with multiple email and password combinations, just says 'Error in registration' or w/e... what's up?

Might be an issue with their site in general.
1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Overstock the 1st US retailer for BTC payment. What retailer do you want next? on: January 02, 2014, 04:35:23 AM
So, if all goes well, Overstock.com will be the first retailer to accept BTC payment. Who would you want next to accept BTC and why? I'm hoping that newegg.com, tigerdirect.com and/or frys.com would be next. Because it would make sense that an electronics retailer to adopt digital currency, just sounds right. LOL
1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Pre-ANN] 42 super rare only 42 coins to be mined (Looking for Team Members) on: January 02, 2014, 04:27:41 AM
This seems to be the same concept that BitBar tried to do, but even more rarer. I would say, not to make too rare, but also have a technological and usage points for it.
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GPU mining with GTX 570 and need help with hash rate (CGMiner) on: January 02, 2014, 04:21:05 AM
I used to get about 240 kh/s with a GTX570 and cudaminer.

A HD 6970 can do a little more than double of that, 500 kh/s. That's just an example of how AMD is king in GPU mining.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MOONCOIN EXCHANGE ON COINEX.PW on: January 02, 2014, 04:15:13 AM
The MOON exchange seems to be down for the moment on CoinEX. Hopefully this get's on more exchanges to stabilize the price a bit.
1792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GPU mining with GTX 570 and need help with hash rate (CGMiner) on: January 02, 2014, 04:06:55 AM
Cudaminer does 2x to 4x more faster than CGminer or Reaper for NVidia. Still not enough to make it worth mining with NVidia cards. You could probably trade with someone that's not into mining and is a gamer for a AMD card(s), just my advice if your trying to maximize your profits.

It scarce me that the highest price of moon is 0.00002575 when I woke up, So coinex has a trading problem...and 0.47 of 384,400,000,000 MOON is actually TO THE MOON

scarce=rare or low supply
scared=fear or afraid of something

Sorry to correct your grammar.

You corrected his spelling, not his grammar.
Either way, it isn't a big deal if you could still understand the intent. English is a secondary language for many people on this forum.

Grammar, because scarce in that context would not make definitive sense. I understand a lot of people here do not speak English natively, but just want to help understand the proper usage for future purposes.

damn iphone auto-correct.  My head was not clear when typing, sorry for the spelling Grin

I was not trying to insult you, just wanted to inform you.

I understand that, thanks for the correction Smiley

Strange that CoinEX is taking so long to update the MOON/BTC market. Hope they fix it very soon.

Is there an import function of some kind to import PTS keys into MMC wallet?

-MarkM-

Yup, I think you get it from the PTS wallet with a command in the debug console, then just import it to a new MMC wallet via debug console. I think it was quoted in the MMC post some where and/or on the MMC site.

Update: Here's the site link for importing the privkey to MMC from PTS: http://protoshares.com/redeem.html .

Memory coin is one of the DACs?

We all have some memorycoin because we owned some PTS ?

-MarkM-

Yup, 1 MMC per 10 PTS. What's the next DAC? BitUSD or BitShares or something else?

I get my new 2 x 1.5Mh/s rigs tomorrow Cheesy

How many MOON should I be able to mine at 3Mh/s? These will be my first GPU rigs Cheesy

Cfx.

I get around 14,000 to 15,000 per hour with 1.5 Mh/s. So, your probably going to get 28,000 to 30,000 per hour approximately.
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Invictus Innovations ProtoShares Cheat Sheet | CPU Mining on: January 02, 2014, 01:27:45 AM
Can someone please tell me, can you still mine PTS?  if so, for how long?  Has the last block been found, and if so, is there anything like a PTS 2.0 coming?

I wanted to try CPU mining but it seems I may be late...

You would need around 1600 to 2000 cpm (collision per minuter) to get approximately one PTS a day. If you have the cpu power, then yes. If not, then just trade for PTS.

Anyone wondering when the DAC's come online or are they already? Is MMC (MemoryCoin v2) the only DAC-ish coin at the moment for PTS?

When does BigVern usually announce new coin market? Time?

They never give a time frame, they just instantly put it up without notice most of the time.

Is any1 else having problems with the buy and sell orders for MOON on coinex right now?

I think coinex is having trouble atm.

Probably a wallet sync issue with the network, mostly common on exchange sites. Or they are doing maintenance.
