why does polonex need over 1000 confirmations?
A user attacked Poloniex yesterday with an exploit making fake deposits of XBC, they did this as a failsafe measure to ensure it doesn't happen again. We are working on a new wallet that will resolve this issue and have pushed it through to our top priorities for the coming days. thanks |

Well I always wanted to know what happens when a CC's value sinks to 1 sat, now I get to see it live. I was told that once a CC hits 2 sat it would never rise out of it, I understood that rationale, but never understood how it could get to a point of ZERO buy orders, given that is DIEM's present condition at Poloniex my analysis is in full swing.  5 other CCs are marching in this general direction, DIEM's performance will serve as a glimpse into the future of those coins. |

Let's vote on cryptsy, Topcoin need this exchange ! Doris, Cryptsy is too big for Topcoin, in fact, at this point, Mintpal is too big for Topcoin too. Daily volume is less than 1 BTC a day that level of low volume activity at highly active exchanges look worse than the exact same activity level at a lower activity level exchange. The exchange should be selected for the specific development stage of the cryptocurrency. Top is lost at Mintpal, although Swisscex is doing next to nothing with it, Swisscex is a better fit because both mediums are in their respective infancy, both could grow together. If Top's growth expands past the capacity of Swisscex, then you consider Mintpal. At this point the coin needs to be removed from Mintpal and focused attention applied at a smaller venue where the coin isn't competing with so many more active and higher performing coins. A CC going backwards does not improve the financial position of the investors, only those who get coin for free, if you want people to pay for coins they must see a way to make a profit from someone else. Every CC must move forward to be a worthwhile investment. |

The Top 100 list is not the same now as 2 weeks ago.
According to Cryptsy and Mintpal the $300+ rates are historic lows, according to Market cap and Polonex both of which have a longer history with EMC2, the position has not seen such low values since it's early beginnings at which time that $300+ value wasn't a low but rather a high, at that time the coin was catching waves upward and onward.
When the coin graduated from a single exchange to multiple exchanges it should have also graduated from the $300 EMC2.

This low price is ridiculous! Thanks for the cheap coins though to whoever is trying to manipulate this coin. A dip starts up goes down then returns back up in a relatively short time period, as the overall EMC2 position was descending it took two sharp dips; sharp dips shock the system, if many dips occur the system must adapt to survive. At some point $400+ EMC2 is no longer "cheap" or low price, phase 3 of dump EMC2 is causing that to occur, the overall EMC2 market is beginning to 'normalize' around the $400+ market, if you've seen it all week the bargain becomes the $300+ coin and the high-to-shoot-for becomes $550. Tomorrow's magic memo must yield >$880 EMC2 and greater daily market engagement, or else the manipulations will abound and the position will likely experience more uncharted depths and less long-term holders. Zoom: All TF:4H SMA:50 I only see the coin getting stronger. What you call dumps are not dumps. Look at the volume, nothing there to show a dump. The price has been steadily rising from what I see from day 1. This coin was not built for short term success and then massive fail like all the others. There is long term goals in play here, non profit organization is here to stay and so is EMC2. On a personal note, I expect a steep increase in price within the coming days. Lets just say "I have a feeling" (no dump). After big buying 4-7 April, almost all people hold their EMC2. And it show that people try buy EMC2 for cheap, but nobody will sell. all good, comrads  hahahahaaa, what you see is a slenderized cash-cow -- all of the fast-cash milked right outta her. EMC2 is so anemic at Mintpal it moved Mintpal from the #1 exchange for EMC2 to 3rd; a direct result of the 1st and 3rd dumpings that were focused squarely on Mintpal. Prior to the dumps Mintpal and Cryptsy had a usual volume of about 4 btc a day, now after the massive milking Mintpal, Cryptsy, and Polonex TOGETHER can barely produce 4 BTC in a day. |

It was likely not a dump site because the dumper knew it would be a poor venue for rapidly liquidation. Dump #1 occurred at Mintpal Dump #2 occurred at Cryptsy in two parts and Dump #3 started at Mintpal Monday morning at 8:30am EST , and continues. The goal of a dump is to extract "cash" (in the world of CC that would be BTC) as quickly as possible, a dump is liquidation. Dumps occur by add in too much supply or removing too much cash from a position or system. You know it's too much when the existing market rates fail to support it resulting in a substantially lower rate where it can be supported. At the start of the 1st dump the overall market rate for EMC2 was $650 on avg, the dump resulted in a low of $470 for the coin. at the start of the 2nd dump the mkt avg for EMC2 was $550, the result of that dump was a low of $390, and at the start of the 3rd dump the mkt avg for EMC2 was $500 -- the low was headed to $275, but low volume and arbitrage efforts mitigated damage. Dump 3 is still occurring, if the dumpster didn't achieve his, her, or their liquidation goal by the time of memo release the coin is in deeeeep trouble. 3 dumps in a tight span of time over multiple platforms is a sharp indication of concerted effort, Anyone who does due diligence in the examination or review of EMC2 will not only see but strongly consider the three recent value plunges, my guess is if they believe the cause is valid but the coin is fickle they will opt to limit their participation of a direct donation to the foundation leaving the coin alone. The run up to any important announcement should be filled with pomp and glory -- good numbers, not lagging, sagging, or plunging numbers; performance often outweighs promise. If someone wants to give to a charity they give, they don't buy BTC with their fiat at one exchange, transfer the BTC to another exchange, trade the BTC for EMC2, then watch its value evaporate. The cryptocurrency markets can be used for fund raising, rest assured when the fund raising turns to fund lowering, funding will be lost. |

So both within a range of 57% are unrealistic? Plus we're smack in the middle of those 2 unrealistic points, therefore we're in a dump? You tried to string too many bad words together for a successful FUD. Can't even say "nice try though". FUD concerns the unknown, I gave you actual facts that you actually experienced. Being "smack in the middle of those 2 unrealistic points" could be an indication of a dump rebound, or dump recovery, it doesn't diminish the FACT that a dump took place. Yep,57% less, great occasion to buy when you see everything work fine,dev are active,community too,press release will come, etc... what you want more ? The "press release" has been mentioned numerous times, in as much as it may turn out to be encouraging news, and may have a positive influence on the value of EMC2 when released, clearly it has no impact now. Exactly how much impact do you expect the press release to have? will EMC2 go to 2000? will those who invested at 870 finally see green? As of release anything over $880 will determine the positive impact the PR had on the coin, nevertheless at this point, I suspect it will play more of a 'mitigating damages' role than anything else. Strange because whoever has dumped would have made much more money selling his coins on different exchanges. So the dumper may have had reasons that we ignore to dump with an unnecessary loss. I wouldn't be worried for that. I only regret that I didn't have set a big buy on the exchange for such a low price. On Cryptsy you had today a similar spike in the opposite direction, up to 600. Whales move. Of course those who bought at 880 are not happy now, but since the coin is now extremely undervalued they have now a great opportuity to increase their stake lowering the average price of their position, thus increasing their future gains. This is one of the very few coins around which actually has an use in he real world, and a great and very positive one, and therefore it has a guaranteed bright future. The longer it keeps a low price, the more coins I will be able to buy, and the more I will be happy in the long term. Cryptsy recently experienced a low of 390, if you consider the subsequent long string of low 400s, the position has found no glory in either arena of late. |

Tranz, two weeks ago someone told me to invest in HBN, since I glanced at it thought it was interesting, but didn't do an in depth analysis, well today I finally did that analysis and am terribly sorry that I did not invest in HBN sooner. The CC's performance, day to day, week after week, and month after month is absolutely stellar, what accounts for that?
There is NO other CC that I see with a performance record like yours, it represents both stability and reliability even while all other CCs are on roller-coasters. please tell me how you are doing it.
Its you guys as much as me. I think the biggest difference between HBN and other coins, is most who invest in HBN, myself included, are not looking at days or weeks time frame. We are looking at months and years. I also conduct my self with honesty and integrity. A bit different then most coins created solely for P&D, or outright scams. In an industry where scams run rampant and unchecked, finding a community that is not participating in that is also a breath of fresh air. I have a 2 year vision, about where I want to see this go. So far I am about 8 months into it, and about 25% of the way there. So still some work to do. But this is pretty much it for me, come hell or high water. Welcome aboard! My thoughts exactly. My strategy for HBN is indeed long-term. Months and years, not days or weeks. It's a niche coin, one that attracts a more mature community with more long-term goals and patience. I avoid most altcoins, because I dislike the quasi-casino, short-term mentality they engender among traders—fun, yes, but well beyond my already stratospheric risk-tolerance level. Hobonickels is one of the very few altcoins I bother with. Due to the rapid staking, one must perforce consider this coin more critically or bypass its virtues entirely. I will read the whole thread and all of the available info on HBN, there is clearly something here. thanks again |

Not depend on the rate of BTC. eg Darkcoin grows The overall CC market trend tends to go as BTC goes (see charts), since it isn't absolute you will find anomalies. One should not focus on the anomaly for guidance or explanation about the overall market, much less any specific cryptocurrency performance. EMC2's rate is low now because it was forced down before the overall crash and efforts to force it back up only yielded what we now have. |
