1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: April 04, 2018, 06:22:13 PM
Gamblings are fun. I dont think it is going to stop and besides there is a lot of gambling varieties. You name it but i think you also know it. So if one stops there is still a lot and a lot more are coming out.

Gambling has become a hobby of many people, gambling will never stop. When a gambler stops, a new gambler will appear. So the gambler could just stop, but the gambling stays on track. It is difficult to dismiss the things that have been loved by many people.

If stopping the gambling it is helping the person it is good for his and his family as he would not be addictive , giving time to his near and dear ones, and would not be losing money in gambling. Thus it is good to see till the time it helps people in a positive way.

I am afraid that gambling will not ends and gambling will change following with the new technology and I think there will be a new game for doing gambling. I agree that gambling has become a hobby for some people to release their stress and get fun but not for those people which only that they can make a win in the games. it is far away from their expectation to always win the games and unfortunately, only a few people that understand about this.

Gambling will never end. The type of gambling game will always change over time. And one thing that makes me wonder is, why gambling never lose its enthusiasts?
1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: April 04, 2018, 04:08:13 PM
I prefer to keep my coins in my wallet if i want to hold for a long time, but if i wont to trade then exchanges are good to go.

Yes, it is better to keep our money on our own wallet instead of saving it in an exchange. As soon as we finished our trading activities on an exchange, it will be good to withdraw our money and keep it on the safe place.

Liverpool vs Manchester City

Liverpool draw no bet@2.16
Under 2.5@2.31
Both team to score No@2.44

This game will be tough and I think less goal will be created or even goalless. Liverpool need to win this first leg if they don't want to get big problem at the second one.
1784  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling is not a bad thing. on: April 03, 2018, 06:23:30 PM
Falling is not a bad thing if you've already sold your crypto currencies on the high levels. Wink

Any falling is a good opportunity to re-buy some promising coins. It seems that the crypto exchange markets are awaking and the prices are rising again now.

Falling and rising are very common in cryptos. And frankly, if we are brave enough, falling is the best chance for us to bet our money by buying bitcoin while it is down and hope that in the near future the price will rise again.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 03, 2018, 11:06:57 AM
Hey guys today is Champions League's day hurray  Grin Time to get the bets in and the snacks ready for the show tonight. Sevilla - Bayern Munich BTTS Sevilla showed they are no slouch vs United and Bayern are Bayern nuff said lol. Juventus - Read Madrid HT 0-0 well I am not completely sure how this match will go but I am gonna try that particular bet because Juventus are playing at home so one would expect minimal goals if any. GL everyone  Cool
Yeah! I think Bayern will win easily sevilla. The match between Real Madrid and Juventus will result in a draw

A goalless draw in my opinion is a result that will most likely happen in a match between Juventus vs. Real Madrid. Juventus have a solid defense and it will be very difficult for Madrid to break it.
1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: April 03, 2018, 09:23:31 AM
Gambling addiction is not a disease. It is something a habitual adoption. Because, people stick to it experiencing good return, and the same won't let them go out of gambling even when they were experiencing continued failures leading to loss. This is all because of the considering gambling a regular habitual activity.
True,  it is not a disease but is only a problem.  Addicted gamblers seems like they have mental problems when it comes to their actions and they way they are seeing it.  We know that an addicted  gambler is having a hard time realizing what he is  doing even if people around him are telling him how bad it is. In situations like this,  the people who got hurt badly is the gambler's family and it is painful to see that it looks nothing for the gambler.

At first i thought gambling addiction is a disease but now that im old enough ill definitely agree that it is really not a disease. Its just a problem that the gambler cant stop, they even dont know what are the things that pass by, what they did just to continue/fund their gambling.

I remembered one of my peer told me about her father. She told me that her father came from a well-known and rich family. But her father become addicted in gambling that he couldn't stop it even he is already a parent. He sell some stuff to finance his gambling and he even take drugs. Then it came to the point that he realized that he doesn't have anything now money, his daughter, wife, and stable job. And i merely believe that everything has a peak, when you reach the top you'll realize what your doing is not right so it is really not a disease.

When we have a behaviour problem that we can't stop by ourself(addiction in this case), that means we got a disease. If we let it remain unsolved, we can get a big disaster. Hence, addiction to anything is a disease.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: April 03, 2018, 07:29:47 AM
I think I will continue to gamble because gambling is not a job for me. It is a way for me to relax and gambling does bring me happiness and sweep away my stress. Therefore, losing in gambling is a good result for me because by losing, I can have some good time with it

Losing money and relaxing? thats kinda contradicting for me, I wouldnt have any relaxing time when I keep spending money. If you live in my country, it wouldnt be just penny change that some people lose. I could actually buy some lunch with 1 mbtc that most people lose on gambling site and claimed it is nothing for them

That sounds insane to me, how come that it is relaxing when you are losing money, right? Everyone who plays gambling are aiming to win and not to lose money, and I think he is out of his mind. Maybe he have a plenty of money, that is why even if he lose in gambling it is not a big deal to him. He might be just having some pastime because he doesn't have anything to do that day.

Lol, this is the first time I read someone says that losing in gambling is a good result. Even though most gamblers lose while gambling, but I don't think they intend to do so. Most gamblers want to win in gambling!
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: April 02, 2018, 06:25:37 PM
Trading is some kind of gambling to imo

You can say that. There are many similarities between trading and gambling. One thing that distinguishes between the two is probably only in terms of legality. Gambling is illegal in many countries while trading is legal in almost all parts of the world.
1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: April 02, 2018, 10:51:30 AM
Reading the whole whitepaper can be stressful. Personally what I do is to check the essential part of the whitepaper. E.g
The problem it is solving
How it works
The roadmap
The team etc

Reading the whole whitepapers can be pretty boring. I read it only for the parts that I consider important and the rest, if there is something I do not understand, I will ask in the ICO telegram group concerned.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: April 02, 2018, 07:39:47 AM
Yes I do,but sometimes i can't stop my self to continue betting as long as i win.It hard to stop it.I don't know why but it feels me not contented that's why i cannot limit myself.I want to full fill my eagerness to continue betting.

Frankly, in gambling we are often swayed by our own thoughts. Although at first our intention is to stop after lose or win some amount of money, but in fact it could have been violated. The instability of the mind tends to change all the plans we have made. There are a lot of unpredicted variables that can change our plans and lead us to play in uncontrolled manner.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: April 01, 2018, 02:34:51 PM
A very important thing when deciding which altcoin you want to invest in would be the total amount of coins printed as you can see the trend in the cryptocurrency market, most of the coins which have a low number of total coins are valued more than the coins which have billions of coins printed at the same time a good example of this case would be bitcoin and ripple.

Sometimes I use the method you mentioned. I am looking for a total supply of a coin and look at other stuffs such as marketcap, daily volume, and so forth before deciding to choose coin as an investment tool. The fewer the total number of a coin, the more the coins are drawn to be scrutinized.
1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: April 01, 2018, 11:07:37 AM
This post sums yp all the other threads in one single thread. I salute you for the efforts. Now that you have mentioned controlling one's self, I would like to add that it is quite hard to control yourself completely. However, you can fake yourself. When gambling, you should give the impression to others that you are relaxed, or you can do the opposite if it is in your favor. Also, a good gambler is someone with good manipulative skills. Being a manipulator is not that easy at all.

What kind of manipulation should we do in gambling? Tbh, I don't get the idea behind it. Btw, for me, a good gambler is a person who's responsible enough with his own money. Someone who tries not to spoil his finances in gambling.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: please help me seriously to leave gambling ???? on: April 01, 2018, 04:36:39 AM
Today i realised i am in huge huge trouble due to gambling...i just kept loosing amount in gambling quickly...decided many times to leave gambling but never happened....today i counted that i have lost almost 10 bitcoins in gambling in last 1-2 years and the amount i loose is going to keep on increasing...
i just tried to do every thing but nothing is quiet working...what ever i earn i dont know what to do with them and in some time i loose them again...
i am realising i am in big trouble, already in huge loss what to do... Embarrassed

Just for your information, there are de-addiction centers out there which specifically deal with addiction to gambling. I don't know about your location, but I guess such centers may be available in your vicinity as well. And I would advice you to get admitted to one very soon, before you completely ruin yourself financially.

When a person realizes that gambling has given a bad result for his life and he wants to quit it, then he should have the intention to do it, the help from the nearest person may be enough to help him out of his problem. So in this condition the help of experts isn't necessary. Help from experts, in my opinion, is only necessary for people who are addicted but there is no intention to stop it.
1794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Panic Sell ? / Chance on: March 31, 2018, 08:24:23 PM
According to you . if in the current time, what do you do when bitcoin decreases current price? do you sell or hold and buy bitcoin again?
and do you think that bitcoin prices will rise in the near future? give your opinion and your reasons whether bitcoin will rise or even drop drastically?

For newcomers or people who had only small amount of bitcoin, this current condition could be a good chance for them. But for people who already bought it while the price was high, this will become a dilematic condition. I myself has no choice other than to hold it. I sell a part of my bitcoin whenever I am in a forced condition and there is no other choices but to sell it. To cover the necessities of life I mean.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: March 31, 2018, 12:23:57 PM
Knowing the time to stop for most people will depend on the mood. Sometimes they can stop after getting a profit or lose some money. But at other times they can not stop and do things the reverse way, until they lose everything. Moods can be crucial in gambling.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 31, 2018, 10:55:42 AM
this week the big match is definitely Chelsea vs Tottenham!
Tottenham is without H.Kane and therefore Chelsea playing at home is clearly favored.
Chelsea also must absolutely win if it wants to try to get in the first 4 positions.
If Tottenham wins  would close the games for the Champions League qualification (the Chelsea would have an almost unbeatable 8-point gap)

Chelsea have to win this game so that the difference in points with Tottenham getting closer and has the chance to grab the fourth position in the final standings of the English Premier League. If Chelsea fails in this match it will be difficult for them to raise their position.
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: March 31, 2018, 03:45:09 AM
For me, it is somewhat a disease already, why? Addiction for me is also sick. Once you've become attached to that addiction, you can never go out on that unless there is someone who will help you stop that addiction. Just like when we are sick, we need to medicate to make us well. I think it is also like that.

Other diseases such as cancer, diabetes and so on require expert handling to cure it. We depend on others to cope with the disease. While in the case of addiction, others can only help us to eliminate the addiction. It rely on ourselves if we want to cure our addictions.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: March 30, 2018, 04:53:26 PM
Sometimes when I don’t have anything to do I gamble to kill my time going to casino gives me the entertainment I want and I get to see some of my friends too. But whenever I have problem or trouble I don’t do gambling because it gives me more headache when I lose. For me gamblinng only brings entertainment to me and money is only bonus if I win.

True, when we had problems and we did gambling, it seems we won't be able to enjoy our game. And it for sure can give us another problem since the chance to lose our money will be bigger because we can't focus on the game. It is better to avoid gambling when we had problems.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You Need to Do Before Choosing a Tipster on: March 30, 2018, 03:27:39 PM
The most important point for me is point number 2. If the tipster service fit with my budget, I will then do the analysis on other points that I think are not less important. Checking the history of a tipster is a must for me.
1800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: March 30, 2018, 12:22:19 PM
Many people try to save money by gambling, they are able to save some money, but this amount is much less because people are mostly affected by gambling, so they do not have the opportunity to save money, so I think that saving money by gambling by me Because of which is not possibleI do not play it,

Why are we even talking about saving money in gambling? Gambling is some sort of past time. You have to pay for your entertainment, the money you use for gambling should already be considered as "payment" to the gambling site since there is a higher chance that you won't get it back or earn more. If you win, then good if you lose don't cry about it. Gambling should never be about saving or earning money.

Since there is a chance of winning in gambling games, I bet he OP is trying to figure out saving money if he wins in order for him to use it on the next session if he feel bored and wanted to entertain himself through casino.  It is not a bad thing, in fact it alse encourage us to have control over our betting activities or gambling activities.

If OP wants to save after winning then he should know when to stop because even he already won but still he didn't stop playing then it will be all useless. And knowing when to stop will contributes a lot in saving as it will be tough and it takes a lot of courage for a gambler to save with all the temptations that surrounds him.
That is really a very difficult job to stop playing gambling when you are making money from it, in fact people become more confident when they make some money, he want to continue playing gambling and make more and more money, but it is in fact very difficult to win every bet, I think very few people may have the ability to take stop playing gambling in the middle of the game.

Sure it'll be hard to stop while ahead. But it can be gained gradually through a habit. It is by placing target each time we gamble and try to follow it as long as we can. Therefore, hopefully we can stop each time we reach our targets.
