1121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too difficult to understand? on: November 12, 2018, 05:40:38 AM
So I was watching "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and I came across a video where Jimmy is talking about Bitcoin's Birthday  " Thank you, Bitcoin for turning 10 years today this week which is the exact amount of time it takes for someone to explain it to me what the hell Bitcoin is".
Also, I know it was meant as a joke but don't you think this explains facts in a humorous way!
I feel like the biggest problem with Bitcoin is the "understanding" of it.
What do you think?
If you want to watch the video, here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3Hma8DKXS8&t=100s
(0:53----1:07)

Not truly, because for some people do not try to understand it and just using it because they know that they could get a lot of money from it and doesn't need so much information on how to use it.

Basic knowledge about bitcoin will be enough for most people. The technical stuffs about bitcoin for sure will require time and effort to learn it. As long as we know how to use, store and secure it; that will be ok!
1122  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Markets Fluctuate Wildly. Why Invest Then? on: November 11, 2018, 03:51:18 PM
I can see fluctuations in the market I think this is not the time for investment... Is my opinion is right Or wrong

Fluctuation will always occur and the investment can be done at any time. Fluctuation is one of the reason why we invest on crypto currency. If the price is stable then there is no reason for us to make an investment.
1123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your greatest trading regret? on: November 11, 2018, 02:45:06 PM
Wrong and right decisions often occur during my journey on crypto sphere. Selling bitcoin at the lower price ,back to 2015, was my bad decision. But as time goes by I learnt my lesson. Now, I don't want to sell all of my bitcoin. I save small part of it for long term use.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: November 11, 2018, 06:50:21 AM
It is just because of the greed for money. Everyone in this world needs money but the problem is that now young people choose the wrong way for making money. They should understand that gambling is not for making money, but it will take all your money in just a few minutes. The consequences of gambling are very bad and destructive.

Of course everyone needs money to feed their stomachs but that would mean a liberal society where everything is allowed and everything is decriminalized.
Does that sound as a proper healthy system to live in? Definitely not. Thats why people have to go to work earn a living and then spend their money as they want. Gambling if they wish is a part of their choices and these choices is what shapes their lives.

People do realize that in the young age they may have acted impulsively and taken wrong decisions but there is always time to redeem those mistakes and start anew.
Well said, that how things should take place and even if we are young, we should not be afraid of committing mistakes as that will teach us lessons.
Gambling is not bad after all since it could give entertainment, if we abuse it, that's where the bad consequences will come, so regardless of our age or status in life, we should not consider gambling a way to make money, instead think of the opposite.

But once a person got involved in gambling, it will be hard not to 'abuse' it. Even though for example we just gamble for entertainment, the chance to be obsessed by gambling is big especially for the young people.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On what kind of gambling you got maximum reward from betting? on: November 11, 2018, 03:09:37 AM
We have lot of games in gambling and each have different kind of probability of winning and their rewards also depends upon the probability level so on which game you got your maximum reward in signle bet?

I hit 9900x in dice game couple of times even though with small base bet and that is the game where I can get huge multiplier so far. Sports betting also offer good probability with its parlay's feature but I can't get the higher multiplier yet till today.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many new Token, new project on: November 10, 2018, 05:19:57 PM
I think that there are least 1 token or project or exchange were born everyday!
When I read ANN. Oh. I didn't research all. Maybe we have miss some good project.....Because there are too Project...
I hate this thing on Crypto Grin
That is right. In that state we got confuse and we mistaken that good projects to the others.
In return we lost all our efforts. So we should be more careful in choosing projects.

The large number of projects makes it difficult for us to make a choice on which projects we should invest. And even if we want to invest, in-depth research is needed so that we are not fooled by fake projects. If we have no good knowledge on how to recognize good project, it is better to stay away from it.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 10, 2018, 02:53:42 PM
Cardiff City would need to get some points desperately if they wish to climb out of the relegation zone on the English Premier League table, even though Cardiff City will be playing against Brighton & Hove Albion in their next match with home ground advantage, I still think Brighton & Hove Albion is the better team in this match, and Cardiff City should consider themselves lucky if they can earn 1 point from this match with a draw.

This is a good occassion for them to get at least one point from this encounter. While Brighton has showed more good football compared to Cardiff the fact that Cardiff are playing at home and against a team of the same level should made them comfortable to get at least one point from this match.

Cardiff City won the match with a score of 2-1 and were able to be in 16th place in the standings. They were left behind in the 6th minute of the first half but were able to equalize in the 28th minute. The winning goal was created at the final minutes of the second half. This is a maximum result and will certainly pump their spirits to face the next matches.
1128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: November 10, 2018, 11:43:34 AM
Trading is a stressful when you buy new coins or when you gamble on some coin's future. Otherwise I buy and hodl coins if it falls, I buy some more and store them in wallets for future. That is not stressful.

If we follow price movements every day and with long duration, of course stressful can't be avoided especially when the price against our current trading. It will be better to combine our trading activities with other fun stuffs outside crypto sphere.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be replace by ALTS in the future? on: November 10, 2018, 07:57:35 AM
Many people says that altcoins may surpassed and replace bitcoin in the future? But where are those altcoins now? they are all gone.

Pictures shows it is possible but i think it will be good for only 2-3 years. People choose to invest in bitcoin because of aside from being famous the stability of the cryptocurrency itself.

People can make their own predictions in regards with the future of crypto currency but based on what we see till today, I think it won't happen very soon. Bitcoin is still the best crypto currency. None will be able to surpass it.
1130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Decentralized Exchange out there? on: November 09, 2018, 02:37:31 PM
For now, the best decentralized exchange is IDEX. Its been there for some period of time and I never find a big problem. The number of new coins being listed on idex growth day by day and the user interface is easier to use. The loading time is good as well.

1132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: November 09, 2018, 10:11:33 AM
what a year, wish I dump all the coin in late DEC lol

and today, spend the 100% from that capital and bought it again, so u still holding the same amount as late DEC while steady with the 900% profits..
Well its too late to blame your decisions since we cant turn back the time

If you are not ready for long term holding, then never invest jn bitcoin instead choose altcoins because those are the fast moving coins

Bitcoin is designed for long term holding and not for short term gaining so from now on,you know what to do incase needed again.

I am keeping all my coins in folio I don’t care it turns out to zero value

It's all about decisions and that's why even though we intend to do a long-term holding, we must have a target that will be our exit point from our investment. The price of Bitcoin at the end of 2017 has soared significantly, I don't know why people keep holding it instead of selling it.
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: November 08, 2018, 11:57:13 AM
May anyone tell me what is the best practice for gambling with little investment? I have no so much experiance about it.Any suggestion or advice.

The best way to test the game is you use faucet if it's possible and check your luck without investments Roll Eyes

Trying with faucet or other free stuffs at first just to get familiar with all the necessary things before we try with our own money. The feeling when we use free money and the real one will be different and it is better to start with small amount then gradually increase it little by little.
1134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: November 08, 2018, 08:54:10 AM
Bitcoin and the blockchain have been presented as the future for a decade now, and it turned many of those who found out about it early into millionaires.  Some rank these two as the greatest inventions of this century: cryptocurrencies, of which Bitcoin is only one, and blockchain, the record-keeping technology that underpins it. Is the prediction of bitcoin's strong future coming true within the next few years? Is it too late to have a chance in getting wealthy through Bitcoin?
It's not too late to get rich through bitcoin but I can't see it exploding that much, some of the other coins have more room for growth and they could possibly be the likeliest to make many wealthy but bitcoin will do well.

It's never too late though if we look at the price from today's viewpoint where prices are already at a high level, but the possibility of bitcoin prices going up again is still widely open. So, if we really believe that bitcoin will soar, this is a good time to start.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: November 08, 2018, 03:56:27 AM
I always have a mindset that gambling is fun and entertaining, I used to played for profit but now I played for entertained myself, I like to share my point of view about gambling, but I afraid when I introduce gambling to someone who cant control himself or herself then it can become a problem, and I can become the one that make him/her become addicted

So in one my hand I'd like people to enjoy gambling but in one hand I afraid it can turned into disaster and I could the person that cause the person become addicted, so I kind of confused when someone come and asked me to teach or explained thing about gambling, should I teach them or I just ignore them? How can I teach or convince them that gambling is only for fun? Is it a wrong idea to teach or convince them to gamble for fun?

I think gambling is good as long as you profit, and can give more relaxed our selves also to a stressful life.lts good as long as you will not focus on it to be addict.

Not everyone will able to enjoy the game and treat it as entertainment. Therefore it would be better not to introduce it to someone else especially to those who close to us. Gambling will involve emotions and each person will have their own reaction about it.
1136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHY DO WE NEED A TRADING PLAN ? on: November 07, 2018, 02:43:28 PM
I am indeed agree! without a plan, we certainly will not have direction and purpose. Our activities will be controlled by our emotions which will certainly have a negative impact on our business including in trading. Without a plan, we are like a man who walks aimlessly.
1137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who do people dump tokens below ICO price and how can this be stopped? on: November 07, 2018, 01:08:33 PM
Recently, a lot of ICOs are getting hit by people dumping tokens below ICO price. Some attribute the cause to bounty hunters while others blame it on excess pre-sale bonus. Who do you think is responsible and how can this be prevented?

Hunters mostly won't care too much about the future of an ICO project. They will soon sell their tokens as long as there is money they can collect. The same as the ico participants who hunt bonuses. It is hard to prevent it because that is how ICO project work. They needs hunters to spread the project and offer bonuses to attract more people to join.
1138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Indonesia is not legal on: November 07, 2018, 07:50:13 AM
Bitcoin in Indonesia is not legal yet, all buying and selling activities must use rupiah. In the past many sellers offered payment with bitcoin, now they can't. the government has given regulations so that all trading activities must use the rupiah. will this be a negative or a positive impact?

For bitcoin, of course it will have a bad impact because with this rule, it is possible that bitcoin will not develop very rapidly in Indonesia. But for the Indonesian people, it might be the best way for the government to protect its citizens. We should obey the government and trust them with all the rules they made. At least we still can use crypto as an asset.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 07, 2018, 03:54:14 AM
I wonder if there is anyone who placed their bets on Red Star Belgrade to win the match in full time against Liverpool? I believe this would be one of the most shocking match result today, as Red Star Belgrade have beaten Liverpool with a scoreline of 2-0, I guess there should be a lot of gamblers who have lost their money on this match by supporting Liverpool.

Yes, this is the most shocking game today. I still can't believe that Liverpool lost by 2 goals to nil. But this is soccer. Sometimes surprises can occur. Sometimes the big team is completely helpless when facing a small team.
1140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to see for Bitcoin - A stable or a volatile market? on: November 06, 2018, 01:39:05 PM
I'd rather see a stable market. Right now it's only seen as an investment rather than a currency, and I don't think it's benefiting mankind as much as it could under these circumstances. It would actually create a more democratized world if more people use it.

If there is a guarantee for bitcoin price to be stable all the time then I think it will be more usefull. People can use it as a means of payment and I am sure more government will allow it to happen. But is it possible for bitcoin to be stable in price? I doubt it!
