901  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: List Exchanges Hacked 2011/2018 on: January 17, 2019, 06:06:10 PM
^ Thanks, drive and update the forum, it's not a good combination. Wink

When the total of the scam is known, I will add it to the list.

Cryptopia Hacked:

its really bad news for crypto community.i am worry in couple days after hacker get any token in their wallet they will dumped it in any markets.just preventing if in few days later price crashing again.

That's what we afraid of. The hackers for sure will dump the coins they have someday which can impact the price movement if the number is huge enough. Frankly, idk why exchanges look so weak even though there are already several bad examples from the past.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: January 17, 2019, 02:42:57 PM
"Sometimes winning isnt good at all". This is the phrase i always got in my mind whenever i saw someone or read something that pertains to gambling addiction. I see that people are so greedy and do anything to win. My observation is that, people experience winning ofcourse in gambling so they take many chances and risk bets to win again. Either the win rate is just 2 to 3 times per 15 bets, they are still getting hooked on it. Winning even once triggers addiction because people are greedy in nature. There are just people who can control themselves and there are not.

Yes, there are times when we win in gambling, whether it's big or small. And this can lead to a conviction that if we bet with a relatively large amount of money, we can get quite a lot of profits. From there, an obsession to get money easily without having to work hard is getting embedded.
903  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can we do 15 - 30$+ per day by trading successfully in these market conditions? on: January 17, 2019, 10:36:05 AM
This was achievable back in the bull run (buy low, sell high) and with the help of bounty campaigns here on the forum.
Right now, with either shorting or going long, it is kind of a gamble (either goes up, or goes down), so choose one direction and place your bet. At least it seemed so, without professional experience of technical analysis, or without big capital in order not to care about attachments...

So if one wants to achieve his target at least, can he do it?
How?
What were your successfully trades like?
How to do it consistently...

We may adjust our capital and targets in this bear market. $ 15 to $ 30 seems reasonable because there are fluctuations in the crypto market even though it's in a small range. But to do it consistently, I doubt we will be able to do so. True, at some point it will be more like gambling and it will depend on each person on how to manage their money. Tricks can be changed based on the results we meet.
904  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance CEO saying don't keep coins on exchanges on: January 17, 2019, 08:58:14 AM
Storing our coins in the exchange becomes very vulnerable after we hear there are several exchanges sites that are the target of the hack. As a precautionary measure, we should withdraw our coins and store them in a place where no one else has access to it. Any exchange sites can be the next target. So, be careful!
905  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i continue trading ? on: January 16, 2019, 05:18:15 PM
hi i am day trading from 2years but not profitable at all ( i dont know what should i learn more so that i will be profitable )

some times i think to quit trading and go search some job, another way i think that after coming so far i should try for some more time

i know many traders in same situation are you thinking same as above . are you in this situation what have you decided to do ?

i want answers only from traders in this situation and experienced traders

i dont know if sentence formation is correct or not i think many of you can understand the situation

You better find another job because trading in my opinion is not the thing that suits you. Why? You say you have been a trader for 2 years and that means when the crypto currency is experiencing a fantastic increase you are already in it. But you don't benefit from such bull market. Current conditions will certainly be even more difficult for you.
906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lots of doubt on on: January 16, 2019, 01:23:35 PM
If you cant stand the showing of volatility in this market then You should’ve leave the crypto community as this is only for the strong person..though you said being optimistic snd continue holding yet this thread shows how tempting the withdrawing to cut the losses

Now there are reasons to doubt bitcoin in many people, this is a prolonged bearish trend, but I hope that very soon it will change and we will see new heights in bitcoin.
Doubting bitcoin means they are not a true investors instesd they are just buying for easy money and then leave the market right away after gaining

There are too many doubts just because people seeing the trend which isn't at their favor. And if we looked back at 2017 when the price soaring significantly, there were many people who have faith with the future of bitcoin. Now they changed their mind which showing that they are just people who seek for instant profit. A lot people came into cryptos but not ready with the bad possibility that could occur.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a better store of value than gold on: January 16, 2019, 07:52:08 AM
Wouldn't gold's physical nature be a real weakness because it could cause a "centralization in vaults" problem? How much gold can an individual legally own and store in your homes in your country?

Then there is Bitcoin. It is virtual, and it opens a world of private key ownership, and therefore, true sovereign ownership of private property which governments cannot control.

Bitcoin and gold have their own advantages and disadvantages. There are weaknesses and advantages to both. But if you look at the real evidence in the field, gold will certainly be slightly superior because the price is relatively stable and has been proven to be able to exist in a very long time. Indeed, we can store as many bitcoin as we want, but it is too risky because of its high volatility.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: January 16, 2019, 06:43:13 AM
As the title itself, I’m thinking about the valid reason why gamblers continue to gamble even if they are losing a lot of money. Is it hard to understand that gambling will just make your money lose if you still continue?

So many addiction stories, people shares their losing experience and yet you are still gambling. The more you play the bigger the chance to lose the money. What is your reason to continue? Are you willing to chase your loses despite of the risk?

Source: Faisamtrader
Chase to fall? 🧐 - (Not a photo of mine, just for an illustration of being greed)

If after experiencing a great lost, a person still continues, then his motivation must have pursued the loss and that would have big consequences. In such conditions it would be very difficult for the gambler to forget his previous loss. Stop is the wise decision at such cases, but I doubt the person will choose it. It would be better for us to avoid to get such situation by not playing beyond our limits.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies (beliefs) on: January 15, 2019, 04:19:55 PM
What are the strategies you believe which can brings to win for you even though in the practical there is no strategy from you.Just speak from your heart. Cheesy

My strategy is to play two or three bets with small bets,if I win something hen I believe I am lucky today so I will continue few more bets and sometimes it helps too. Kiss

I use only small amount of money to chase high payouts like 3300x or even 9900x in dice gambling sites. If i hit it, then I will withdraw the profit and leave only the starting balance to start again my hunt at the other time. And if failed I will stop for a while till I have a good feeling to start rolling again.
910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What coins do you like to trade the most? on: January 15, 2019, 10:18:19 AM
Are you into trading? What coins do you like to trade the most and what's your trading startegy?

I mostly trade BTC / FIAT (IDR). And my strategy is to get 10% profit for each session. Such target can sometimes be achieved in a short time and at the other times can take longer. And of course, there are sessions where I failed to reach the target. And when I face such conditions, I will hold it a little longer until the target is met or cut losses when I feel the price will remain in the downtrend for a longer time.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: January 15, 2019, 07:47:30 AM
Many gamblers who suffer from gambling addiction try to think that way, that they are paying the casio. to use their games and to have some fun. However I have seen a colleague of mine who tried to quit gambling by playing free simulators in the internet , Gaminators and Hot fruits simulators and told me , this is it, now I can quit gambling easily.

The reality though was that after playing with simulators for one week he then got to the casino and lost a big amount. The only true way to quit is to ask professional help.

For some people, this may work. It depends on how do you see the casino you are playing. If you are more focused on the profits that you gain (even if these profits are fake) then you have a problem, like your friend. If you are focused on the procedure and not in the amount that you want to accumulate then you can find a way of not losing your money. I think this solution doesn't have application to all gamblers.

We have heard that at the end, the bad result mostly will come to gamblers addict. Based on that, if we focus on the profit we want to achieve in gambling then we can end up like most gamblers have. We should be wise if we want to enjoy gambling as long as possible. Paying small money won't hurt us to enjoy gambling game services. So, comparing gambling with watching movies on cinema sounds realistic for me. Treat gambling as a way to have fun only and never try to solve our financial problems or to get rich from gambling.
912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: January 15, 2019, 05:27:10 AM
You know, trading is really hard work, you are always in much stressful position. Of course, the market is always process everydays
There is no need to over stress yourself instead of it you should keep calm and invest as much possible. Good time is not so far but you only need to choose right path at this dip. Never lose chance but try to gain more experience. Market never remain the same but it’s not only for you there are so many like you who are still hopeful.

Is trading will not suits for a lots of people because there are lot of work in different time but if a person will accept all the complicated situation then he will be the right person to do tension and stress are always happen in all kind of field so we can definitely manage that in this field also.
trading needs complicated condition for each people whom joined.they have to ready facing all condition due to the market movement very extremely.some people will not strong to face it.
We must be ready for any condition of market, that is why trading actually is a complicated thing. But  some people not really care about that, and then they don't know what to do when they loss.

Most traders will usually make a rage decision when they are at the loss conditions. Panic caused by afraid of losing more and more money will mostly occur. Even for experienced traders, such feeling may still come and that is the hardest part to deal with. Trading can be a very stressful especially when we meet with the unexpected market condition.
913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle tough times in cryptocurrency? on: January 14, 2019, 04:32:47 PM
As trader, that does not mean we must always actively make sell and buy orders. Sometimes we also have to wait for the right time to return to the trading platform again. So, to overcome the tough times, we can do other activities, entertainment things will be better.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 14, 2019, 03:19:19 PM
Manchester United now has the same points as Arsenal. The possibility of Manchester United to overtake Arsenal in the standings is increasingly open because next game, MU will only meet Brighton & Hove Albion while Arsenal must face Chelsea. Hopefully, MU will be able to keep steady with their good performances.
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would u open a loan to buy the dip? on: January 14, 2019, 12:48:23 PM
would you open a loan to buy the dip? and when it dips again you would open up another loan to buy the dip. and lets say repeat the process. probably no one is doing this. because being in debt is a bad thing. just depends on far u would invest into bitcoin or even crypto currency. sad it has to dip in the first place.

No and never! I will only use my own money to invest in crypto currency and it will not exceed my limits. I only use money that will not give me a big bad impact if my plan does not go as expected. So, taking a loan is something I will not do. I don't want to get into big trouble in the future.
916  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Avoid trading unless you are sure of what you do on: January 14, 2019, 10:48:02 AM
Really it will become just like gambling, addictive and manipulative, it's very much like poker only if you are an expert you can accomplish something

This is also a remind for myself, sometime I would like to trade again but I remember the bad experiences I had with it and stop

Yes, the difference between gambling and trading can be very thin. If traders only follow their emotions for every action they take, then it is more like gambling. Traders must be able to control themselves even in any situation. Their target must be clear from the start. The decline and price increase are very reasonable in crypto currencies. And it's impossible to see our investments always grow over time. On several occasions we will see our asset value decline.
917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Motivates you to Invest in Cryptocurrency? on: January 13, 2019, 02:53:24 PM
To be honest - it is mostly about profits, this sphere is very difficult to build knowledge and understanding in it, but I'm doing my best, it can pay out really well.
for motivation I joined investment in crypto currency, of course, to get a big profit and want to be a rich person too. because the results of investment are very large and there are already many successful and fast people rich in crypto

For most people yes, we invest in crypto for profit as the main motivation. There is already good proof from the past when people could change their life just because they invested their money in cryptos. We may see the pattern will be repeated again in the future and we are still have cryptos on our wallets. In cryptos we have hopes!
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories and Possible Solutions on: January 13, 2019, 01:46:49 PM
I recently heard a story about Gambling addicts from a worker who works as a manager on the floor. They are the ones who check and manages tables, and they are the one to approve different kinds of transactions there.

Anyways, it's about a person who is an addict who isn't going anywhere. He said that in his shift, let's say it's the morning shift, he saw the person there, playing. Nothing out of the ordinary, but when my friend says he is going out of his shift, he is still there, the player, so, at that time, it's quite okay because it's just almost 8 hours. When he came back the next day, that same guy with the same clothes is still there.

Just a reminder that there are people who really need help, but not interested in helping themselves.

Even in real life, I have witnessed how gambling addicts treat themselves. To just change clothes, bathe, work and even to eat, they can ignore it. For them, it seems, they whole life is only dedicated to gambling and don't care about other things. Yes, these people need help, especially from close relatives by limiting the addict's movement. Every act of the addicts must always be monitored and if they are going to touch again with gambling, then their relative must immediately forbid it. It may need time, but it may work eventually.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does blockchain technology really helps gambling? Or is it just making it worst? on: January 13, 2019, 10:00:34 AM
Some will going to use chips or any other materials to represent money when betting. This probably just to keep any possible trouble because of money. As we all know that money is very hot to others. Now, gambling has already introduce into the block chain technology to which it will be hard to integrate especially to the users that are not good in computers and might be confuse using the technology.

This is why I would like to get your opinion does really block chain helps a user to gamble at ease? Or does it just makes more difficult or worse? I need somw inputs on gamblers that is now using block chain technology to gamble. Compare it basing on your experience.

Blockchain greatly fosters gambling especially online gambling. With fiat, there are many weaknesses that we might encounter. There are many types of fiat out there and unfortunately, not all of them will be supported by gambling sites. With the help of blockchain, now people from around the world can gamble easily, secretly and so on.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHy the fuck so many alt coins? on: January 13, 2019, 08:07:30 AM
Creating a new Altcoin is not only simple, but also has no cost, so it is favored by many scammers. It is not that we need so many alt coins, but scammers. In fact, many of them are shit. I believe that most of the Altcoins will die in the future, and the Altcoins that can survive will not exceed 10%.

When there are opportunities and holes to be exploited, scammers will try to benefit from it and is no exception to the cryptos hype. The number of alts is now very large and most of them will definitely be forgotten. Market selection will only leave coins that really have a vision and mission, along with continuous development. Not only alts from scam projects will be gone, alts from real projects with minimal development will certainly disappear too.
