1781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it good to invest in ETH? on: February 04, 2019, 11:58:43 PM
Of course yes it's worth it to invest in ethereum even the price is dropping as of now. Ethereum have a future as long they develop it. And we all know that altcoin is rely in ethereum so I think no one wants that ethereum will be gone or drop.
yes, no matter the conditions, as long as cryptocurrency is still used, I think it's natural when buying ETH for use. ETH is one of the crypto which has enormous potential to grow now compared to other coins, so I think it's very reasonable when people are still investing in ETH.
Perhaps the current time is the last chance to invest in ethereum at a low price. Of course, when buying ethereum 76 dollars, it was even more profitable. But if we take into account that ethereum will reach the level of 2017, then the output will be very explicit.
Good thing to do, because like bitcoin maybe Ethereum have chance to increased again like in past. And people who miss it's peak, maybe can feel again how they can gain big profit when ETH go to moon like in 2017.
1782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your funds secured? on: January 31, 2019, 05:42:14 PM
Im quite new to crypto so i wanted to know what exchanges do you use and i'd be grateful for advises on security. I currently keep my crypto on localbitcoins but it recently got hacked to im concerned for my money. I want to move it somewhere safe but still be able to make trades without much fuss. Im still learning to trade but im pretty serious about it. Can you recommend me a good exchange that hasn't been hacked yet?
If you afraid exchanger that get hacked, it is better to save assets in wallet. Try ledger nano, because if you save in exchanger, there are some risk that will come with it. If the exchanger hacked like your experience with Localbitcoin, you will lose more.
1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I cursed? on: January 31, 2019, 02:42:07 PM
I don't know if I am cursed or something. If I sell a coin now from airdrop/bounty few days later that coins increases much that you will regret selling. If I hold a coin from airdrop/bounty again that coins price decreases much that you will regret not selling right away. I'm confused now whenever I sell the price increases and when I hold the price decreases. Am I cursed?  Cry
You are not cursed my friends, maybe what happened is just a coincidence and everyone must have learned about it, even I have experienced it many times, but I consider it normal because that is the crypto market, especially if the coin from bounty or airdrop, so if I need money, sometimes I sell it right away
For now i regret still hold some of my bounty tokens, price is decreased much and it is lower than ICO price for now. Maybe in future after i get paid from bounty campaign, i will sell it immediately.
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is pumping! on: January 31, 2019, 04:46:32 AM
I also believed in him when he was at $ 150, that he would rise again, but as we see the new correction and the loss of second place. Honestly speaking, the whole situation in the market is starting to grieve.
We should not be worried about the price of Ethereum right now. It needs some more time for recovering.
And according to you, how many time does ETH need to recover? I'm not worried, but I need entertainment by seeing ETH prices recover. Hardfork that has happened does not give the slightest effect on ETH price movements, even though I have more hope for this hardfork, but it is useless.
We need very good news for ETH to get it back up again. Or maybe if bitcoin can increased, ETH will follow it like in past. That means it still have chance to make profit for peoples and it's investors.
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Change of strategy on: January 30, 2019, 03:42:47 PM
Some investors and traders are complaining of not making profits like they used to, when the market was better. Instead or profits, it has been loses.
If you find yourself in this situation, why don't you ask yourself; what method am I using that is not making things to work out?
It will surprise you that the method might be archaic or that it might not work for this period.
Why don't you change it.
For instance, you always wait for long to get huge profits within 24hrs, which used to work for you. Since the market is bear, why don't you reduce the time and be satisfied with small profit. Then gradually, you can accumulate more.
1 thing that i change is from trader to holder. For now i am do a little activity of trading and keep do bounty campaign and then hold my assets and not trading it. Maybe if get paid from bounty campaign, i wait for good price to sell it.
1786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin changed the men but not the women on: January 30, 2019, 08:47:13 AM

It's undeniable men changed proportional to bitcoin, women didn't change for it.
whenever I give men bitcoin they will hold it
Whenever I give it to women they will sell it for $$$
Just deal with it women love money > bitcoin
Never give my girl any bitcoin, or not want to teach her about it. It will be hard for me to tell her what is bitcoin actually and my girl seems not really interested with what i do in job. That is why i wouldn't waste my time to teach her about this.
1787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: January 29, 2019, 03:50:13 AM
You can try to avoid mistakes, but never be afraid of making one and neither should you be afraid of failure.
The fear of what will happen might be a limitation.
Cryptocurrency sometimes can be very complex and funny, most especially when you find yourself in a situation you have never been exposed to.
When the market is all good, mistakes are not easily detected, but when the situation of the market seems to be on a negative side, then fear sets in and sometimes, we become afraid of what may likely happen if we take a step further, to do what we have never been exposed to.
Even if you eventually fail, it is a stepping stone to become become better and achieving greater success.

Already happened to me once, when i lose trading. Lose much because panic when dump happen in Bittrex. But after i cut loss my coin, it back up to price that i bought it and then increased it. But that make me learn, we only need some patience when trading and to keep train our skill.
1788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On merchants not willing to accept crypto on: January 29, 2019, 03:35:46 AM
I think that Bitcoin users are not in a hurry to spend Bitcoins now. The price of Bitcoin is now too low to spend. Therefore, there is no demand for payment for goods using cryptocurrency.
As you must know even bitcoin cheaper than now, people already hurry to make it as payment. And then when it is on high price, peoples objected to fees because it's value increased too even in satoshis it still same.
1789  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A better way to invest in cryptocurrency. on: January 28, 2019, 05:27:07 PM
Yes indeed many people leave their jobs to trade on cryptocurrency, when the market is still good and now when the crypto market is declining, income from crypto is unreliable. For this moment I'm also dizzy thinking about how to get money and now I can't fully expect income from crypto, on the other hand I really have to work
Leave jobs for fully in crypto means we must have a lot of skills not only in trading, because if we can't trade for example in market condition like this, we can get another things to do. But if we do reckless and not think about that, leave job is bad idea.
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: January 28, 2019, 02:42:42 PM
If the bear market stays longer than expected will you take your leave and forget cryptocurrency ever existed? But the marketcap is getting larger and larger is that not enough to change your minds and stay?
Not want to leave my crypto world. Even bitcoin already down after it's peak, i already experience when it's price lower than this. Maybe for who join in high price, they already stressed about it. But i'm not.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: January 28, 2019, 09:23:24 AM
$ 500 is a not too large amount and I will invest $ 100 to each altcoin that has a price below $ 0.1 to get a lot of profit in the future but be careful in determining the altcoin so you don't lose all the money you have
Pick cheap altcoin really need to be careful. If we wrong to pick, that coin can be dead coin and delisted on every market that already listed it. If that happen, not only a loss that we got, but we can loss all our money because it has no value anymore.
1792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news from Japan on: January 25, 2019, 06:26:14 PM
We know that Asia is crypto-mad, and this article shows that Japan may well lead the way to mass-adoption through retail payments.

https://cryptomenow.com/why-japan-could-become-first-major-crypto-market-to-see-mainstream-merchant-adoption/

yes, this is also still in planning because the merchant certainly does not want to experience heavy losses due to crypto adoption. considering that since last year crypto has continued to experience a drastic decline until now, and the adoption of crypto by merchants is a consideration that must be taken carefully
But maybe that merchants which want to adopt crypto already think about risk of it. because maybe if they want to do it, they will ask people who already experienced in it. For me i think about volatile is not main problem of adoption.
1793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How good were you at understanding Bitcoin tech before investing in it? on: January 25, 2019, 05:15:51 PM
It's really hard to keep up with the cryptocurrency development even for a programmer. Every coin is trying to introduce a lot of new terms to show you how innovative it is. But in many cases it turns out to be just another vaporware. And at the end of the day you see that you've waisted your time for nothing.

How many books did you read / how many courses did you complete before you started investing in Bitcoin? Can you honestly say: do you really have the time to keep up with the crypto world or at some point you just started to believe in tech instead of trying to grasp every single crypto feature?
Honestly, i don't read anything or maybe don't really know technology about bitcoin or other crypto. That is why when bitcoin up in past, i already very happy and sell my coins immediately.
1794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The advantage of day trader on: January 24, 2019, 11:01:49 PM
day trading has many advantages but being a day trader is not easy first we should make consistent profits , if we make 100$ profit today and lose 150$ tomorrow there is no way we can become day trader
what i do is i set a weekly loss and profit and manage risks
True fact  Grin at first trade i have that experience, after profit i loss more than that. Daily trading actualy something that really need to concerned if we want to do it. Because it is not like we buy and sell and hold without analyze.
1795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market Signals on: January 24, 2019, 10:44:43 PM
Hope that your program can help a lot of people especially new people that join in trading activity, at least they will interested and not said that trading only make them loss, actually signal trading is good if we can use it properly.
1796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019, A Challenging Year for Ethereum on: January 24, 2019, 10:18:09 PM
Ethereum was too strong on end of 2017, the price went crazy to $1.4k but then sad things happened and the price went down under the $100 lines and braked all of us. And yes, this should be challenging year for the Ethereum because its price already lost too much and the ETH lost the second place to Ripple in coinmarketcap. It has to be get up and it should happen fast.
Don't forget bitcoih get same condition too, went crazy and then slowly down again and for me as long it not reach price that when they first launched in market, i still think that it is ok because ETH still have good things in future.
1797  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is KYC necessary for crypto-to-crypto exchanges? on: January 24, 2019, 02:12:24 PM
Do you think it's necessary for a crypto-to-crypto only exchange (like Shapeshift) to require compliance with KYC/AML laws? AFAIK, cryptocurrencies aren't subject to the control of governments, since they were designed to eliminate middleman. Also, they're not considered legal tender and real currencies (unlike Fiat currencies like the USD).

Because of this, I wonder why governments are requiring KYC for crypto-to-crypto exchanges if cryptocurrencies are not issued or controlled by a central authority? Of course, this would be extremely necessary to implement within fiat-to-crypto exchanges, but I don't any reason why it’s necessary to enforce KYC/AML on crypto-only exchanges.

Can someone enlighten me about this?
On the side you are right, you have good logic for this question. But I think KYC not only for that it also need to verify your account for future. Suppose you have lost your email or 2FA then when you will go to recover it then there will need KYC to know the real account owner. Maybe it could be one more reason for the KYC. If I am wrong please forgive me.
If that is also part for recovering your account and there's a good intentions regarding to this, having KYC and being fully verified won't scare traders to complete this process, but the logic is crypto practice anonymity and people who loves to hide their identity will go with crypto investment and continue enjoying being anonymous, the essence of crypto should be there and KYC can be less if the process will be between cryptos exchange.
I think when some exchanger force people to do some KYC there is regulation from government so they not need to shut down their services if they not do KYC from their customers. In past KYC only applied if we want to make our withdrawal limit bigger. CMIIW
1798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Coin - harder or easier than trading Forex? on: January 24, 2019, 08:27:33 AM
Both different trading will be good way to make money,  in crypto spot trading we can make money only when the market bullish,  but in forex trading we can make profit from uptrend and downtrend as well. So to make profit every month we should be doing both,  when bullish trend in crypto market we can focus on that,  but when crypto downtrend we can spend more times in forex trading.
If someone have both skills it will be very good. But too bad i don't have any experience in forex before because not try it yet. Too afraid if loss a lot of money in forex because a lot of people said it is very hard to trade in forex.
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: January 23, 2019, 10:21:26 PM
In my opinion bitcoin is not so perspective now like was ever. You have better chanse to find good ICO with perspective altcoins, than hope bitcoin will recover.

Bitcoin is more stable and secure coin. If Bitcoin drops by 10%, then everything else drops by 20-30%. Therefore, now I choose Bitcoin and after the market reversal, I will start buying altcoins.
we must be aware that it is thanks to investments in promising projects that we give the opportunity to develop the project and more chances that the team will do everything possible for good results.
But in fact, a lot of project seems not developed again by their devs. Maybe a little percent developer that really do their project. But still a lot too that do nothing after list their coins/tokens in market.
1800  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading is like having sex on: January 23, 2019, 10:07:17 PM
My friend just quote this one. I think he is right

Day trading is like having sex.

''Get in and out as much and as fast as possible to get satisfied maximally.''

I think this exactly explains day trading. I am a day trader myself. I rather get in and out of the market 50-100 times a day and take small profits with smaller amounts of my balance than trying to chase a couple percent in 1 trade.
Well, if like that easy maybe everyone can be satisfied with that. But once we stuck in a coin and then it's price never increased again, so it will like that we stuck into someone who get pregnant and we must wait for long time maybe months.  Grin
