1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Manage Gambling Addiction an Open Discussion. on: July 01, 2022, 07:22:12 PM
I think its very hard to change behaviors that turn into habits. Considering the fact that our body literally produces hormones that will effect our psychological health if we keep following our routine. Gambling as a habit is no different. Best way to finish this habit turning into addiction is to cut your brain wires symbolically. You should stop yourself producing that harmful hormone making you slave.
That is correct. Some habits are hard to change. Likewise it goes for alcohol addiction and same for gambling.
It can be controlled in early times. Like when someone is getting into it. It better to look at both the aspects of the whatever you are trying to do. But people want fun and that is all they want.

Just like what you said, people wanted fun and there are a lot of options if the subject is just to chase and have some fun but sadly vices like gambling and alcohol are the ones that people wanted to go into even if they already know that it is too risky to chase these kinds of things just to have some fun, people are literally finding the joy and fun in the wrong place and making it a habit will just make the situation worse.

There are rumors that the Lakers and Nets are working to finalize a deal. Supposedly it will be KD and Kyrie for AD and Westbrook plus a few picks and some $$$. This seems like an insane rumor but there are reports that they are close to a deal. KD and LeBron together would be something else. If that happens I’ll definitely be seeing a few Lakers games live next year. It would be the greatest pairing since Shaq and Kobe.

If Durant, LeBron, and Irving were on the same team, it would be the most dominant trio of the last decade. Although I doubt the Lakers will be able to pull off such a crazy deal. It seems more realistic to me that Durant might be traded for Booker and other Suns players. In any case, we will definitely see some big deals this offseason, given that many interesting rumors are popping up right now.

It will be an amazing and hard-to-defeat roster if in-case Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant will wear the same jersey as LeBron used to wear but yeah, that's just a hard thing to pull off. The nearest scenario that can happen is Durant on the Suns as today he requested a trade and preferred the Valley as a destination but I don't really think that the Suns will give up Booker that easily while Irving was on the table for Lakers trade.
1783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 16 on: July 01, 2022, 06:31:39 PM
@Vaculin, I hope this time we will really see a big knockout win by Garcia.

Sometimes, what he said is not going to happen in the actual fight, but I love his confidence, that only means he was disappointed on himself for not winning by KO in his first fight this year, so he wants to correct that with an impressive win.
I wouldn't call that confidence for now because he still hasn't shown us an impressive win and all the kid did was to bark and bark without actions and call out champions like Kambosos and now he's also calling for Tank Davis. He should just focus on his upcoming fight against Fortuna first and give us the result that we wanted before he starts focusing on a fight that is not yet possible in his situation.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: July 01, 2022, 06:07:17 PM

That's really common nowadays for these legends to create their own company such as EFC by the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov, he's quite lucky to buy the GFC for $1 Million which now turned into Eagle FC which is now worth $40 Million. They need to take advantage of their name while they are still on the market.

Still, many fans still want to see Khabib fight, that is how popular he is, but we commonly see him just at the ringside along with Islam Makachev, and the recent fight of his Brother Umar Nurmagomedov but still I really want to see him fight 1 last time, even if it is an exhibition match only,

Well, there's still a chance to see him again in the octagon fighting because as I remember, Khabib said that he just wants Dana to show him some good match that will really make him step foot on the octagon once more. So, Dana accepted the challenge and thought that maybe Khabib would want to fight Poirier after he won by a TKO against McGregor but Khabib wasn't interested in the offer. Who knows, maybe soon we can see him doing one last fight even if that's an exhibition fight.
1785  Economy / Gambling / Re: KYC casino or no-KYC casino, but with no bonuses/no cashback? on: June 30, 2022, 08:29:48 PM
Perhaps, whether the casino have the Kyc or not, I am pretty sure they both have advantages and disadvantages. And the majority of the gamblers here in the crypto space will also choose with no KYC, and some will in favor with Kyc. But I wonder why they have Kyc at some casino platforms since the players  is just playing only in the games they have.
Well, I for one wanted a casino with no KYC but considering the casino's we have these days. It's somehow hard to find reputable and trusted casino who don't ask for KYC, you know the government keeps on hammering and having a KYC prevents money laundering and other suspected activities that could connect to their casinos. KYC or non-KYC, I'm good with that as long as it's trusted and reputable.

i think the best thing for this matter for us not become an addict in the gambling online is that the individual gamblers must do this as one of His/Her hobbies only, if they do this addiction in it will not come to anyone. Just don't allow greediness to control us so that in the end addiction has no power to us here in any of the gambling casino.
Yeah right, I also think the same as you. if we only make gambling as a hobby without exaggerating. or to a certain extent. then maybe we can minimize it to avoid gambling addiction itself. although sometimes there are many people who prioritize their hobbies more than their work. but that's rare. Gambling should not be the focus. but only used as a means of having fun for a moment. and related to greed, when someone has already entered into greed, it is very difficult to stop people like that. because when greed takes over, common sense sometimes becomes dull.

Nah! You're just getting yourself more prone to get addicted in gambling, you surely wouldn't want yourself to pick a hobby in gambling activities as you surely know what is likely the result of that. Gambling should just be a pure entertainment and a way to forget the reality especially when we're too soaked in work and stress.
If you need a hobby, it shouldn't be gambling. You should try different ways to reduce stress. You should increase your hobbies with arts, sports, hand skills. If you want excitement, you can do things you have never experienced before. Online gambling makes people addicted. Being able to gamble every second and minute triggers the human brain. If this event is not brought under control, there will be dire consequences.

Exactly! Making gamble as a hobby will definitely be one of the worst decision that a man/woman can do, well except for the one's who's been successful enough as a professional gambler but even these professionals are still losing big time as defeat is inevitable when it comes to gambling because the result are very unpredictable. If you want a hobby, maybe you can find some other things that will get you more creative but gambling? That will get you more problematic.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 30, 2022, 07:32:38 PM
~snip~
Jordan poole and Andrew Wiggins is a good tandem for the warriors even though they don't have curry and Thompson in the floor but still they have a good defender and also scorer which is Wiggins can scored will and poole will help him. Of this lineup are still next season for sure a big chance of winning are there. If they want to stay in the warriors as long as they give their best on every match for sure that they can stay on the team when ever they want to stay.
It's not them to decide if they want to stay with the Warriors.

But it's the Warriors management to decide and it has been decided that they'll stay because it's said that they'll get a priority of staying and the management will spent a lot for them to stay.

That's why most of us are excited to see how they'll do with the next season because we'll still see Wiggins and Poole with Steph, Klay and Dray.

Ofcourse, the team will maintain their main line-up and certainly it would be a bad idea to trade the both of them to any other team because they know that Wiggins and Poole can be a risk to their team, they already figured out what to do in the next few years and I don't think that Steve Kerr will just let them go. It was reported that Poole will have his contract extension for over $100 Million while Wiggins will indeed stay for the Warriors as the team clarified about that also.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 29, 2022, 08:13:12 PM
He was too confident in the fight against Fortuna right now and actually it wasn't too good to be overconfident like this because there would be a gap in his mind that would make this a disaster for himself.
Confidence was good but talking about the next fight before finishing the approaching duel now sounded like underestimating Fortuna.
I know he has quality but it's still not completely decided that he can win.

Yes, that's what I said, sometimes when a boxer is too overconfident, it will backfire on them. Goosen will still train Ryan here, maybe it really affected his performance since he used to be under Reynoso. But he is still young and could learn a lot from Goosen and perhaps we would see it in this next fight against Fortuna. And maybe if he score a knock out, he can call Tank Davis again for a fight.

I edited it, the fight is going to happen on July 16.
Actually, this can be a hope, especially for me because it will be very exciting to see Davis, especially for now they have quite a name in their class.
But indeed, if you look at it now, even if it is possible to happen, I think it would be very arrogant if you directly make something like this, but on the other hand, you still have to face a battle that, even though you are superior, does not rule out the possibility that something surprising will happen.
Yep it happened on July 16th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles which was expected to be packed with 20,000 fans.

There's still hope because Javier Fortuna will be Ryan's last test before the fans would lose interest to the kid, I know that Ryan could easily deal with Fortuna but the catch here is that Ryan need to finish the fight with a good outcome and that is either by a KO or TKO and not just another UD. He needs to step up if he's that interested to fight Gervonta Davis.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: June 29, 2022, 07:25:02 PM
As I know, Eagle FC is owned by Khabib Nurmagomedov. after he retired, he still focused on MMA and created that championship for fighters. The old name is Gorilla Fighting Championship (GFC) he was bought it and changed the name into Eagle.
~
Khabib tries to think about the future and of course has to keep making a profit when he is old so that in that way he can earn money because he can definitely produce very professional boxers who can follow in Khabib's career, just waiting for the Eagle players to appear in some big games.
That's really common nowadays for these legends to create their own company such as EFC by the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov, he's quite lucky to buy the GFC for $1 Million which now turned into Eagle FC which is now worth $40 Million. 1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Government Owned Online Casinos What Do You Think Of Its Potential on: June 29, 2022, 06:35:39 PM
Government have no business in business rather it's role is to make favorable policies and create a conducive environment for business to operate smoothly. In my country the government is not a good businessman. Most of government business has collapse due to corruption, tribalism and inefficiency. Hence, if government establishes online casinos it is bound to fail except they privatize them. If the insist to run them, these casinos would be marred by corruption and low services. I don't think I would encourage anyone to play games in any government online casino.

This happens not only in your country, but absolutely in any other, even the most civilized one. Such is human nature - if you dispose of something, then one way or another you will dispose of it in your favor and no things, even like the death penalty (look at the example of China), will change anything. The only chance to avoid corruption is to remove its possibility - that is, an official should not conduct business at all, this is the business of private individuals.

That is definitely true, a government shouldn't have a business where they need to put a certain person to officiate that same business because that's where the corruption usually starts especially if that includes generation of huge loads of money as that certain official will just make things in his/her favor. The only safe thing to do is just get the said revenues from these businesses and just let the private group to man this operations.

1792  Economy / Gambling / Re: KYC casino or no-KYC casino, but with no bonuses/no cashback? on: June 27, 2022, 12:53:02 PM
If you were given a choice, would you play regularly in a cryptocurrency casino WITH KYC, and with added benefits like first deposit/welcome bonuses and cashbacks?

Or would you like to play regularly in a casino, WITHOUT KYC, BUT also without the welcome bonuses, cashbacks and other extra rewards?

The answer is very obvious, I would pick a casino that does not require a KYC, that's the reason why we are in the crypto space so we can live with full privacy, but it seemed like regulators are starting to require casinos for a KYC requirement. Actually, it's not a problem because the market is big, we have plenty of casinos that will give us full privacy and will never ask for KYC, but we should also be aware of the risk as anytime they could leave and we can't go after them.
1793  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY ITS SO POSITIVE THIS BEARMARKET. on: June 27, 2022, 11:43:50 AM
We witness the same market but we see it differently, those who have weak hands, they see the market as it will collapse so they will panic, but those who see the opportunity, they see the market as a chance for them to accumulate again.

Actually, there's nothing to panic about because we've seen bitcoin dumped many times and yet it still has recovered and even surprise us with a bull run.
Thing is, if we panic, we will fail to see the opportunity, so just relax, believe, and keep educating ourselves about crypto.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 27, 2022, 11:04:12 AM

That even help him realize that he is not invincible, thing is, he is still undefeated until now because he knows how to stand up and finish the fight with a win. Every boxer has a weakness and I believe that Ryan Garcia have already improve himself so that will not happen again.

Good thing that he has that capability, but we never know maybe from those past fights but when it came to a title fight, we really can't tell if the opponent will allow him to stand back once they already seen the open opportunities to knock him down, but until we see that time then we can say that he really improves or he can stand and ignores those heavy combinations.

Again, there are many opportunities for this young fighter he just need to keep winning and continue establishing his path.

I'm hoping that will not happen again because if an A-rated boxer will hit him and he got knock down, I don't know what's next, maybe he cannot stand up anymore and might experience his first loss. That's why I'm saying that maybe he already learn from his mistake and prevent that from happening again.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2022, 06:24:07 AM

Lillard won't win a championship even if he surrounds himself with good role players, he needs a superstar to play with him and I think Durant would be a nice pair for Lillard as IMO Lillard is better than Irving in terms of relationship with his teammates.

Durant would most likely to go to the GSW again lol.
That would be an insult to himself because he was the one who left, GSW actually getting rid of high paying players and there was a rumor that they will trade Wiggins to avoid paying luxury tax, so it's not going to happen that they will get Durant.

I wouldn't want Lillard to partner with KD, they still won't gonna win anything unless they add more fire power and defense with their lineup. However, this is most likely not going to happen either. Durant has not showed any interest towards Lillard. And, Lillard on the other hand has no plan on leaving Portland despite of being antsy to the management as they have not been effective in picking up the right pieces to play alongside Lillard. CJ was a good player, but not a perfect fit for Lillard.
I believe the Blazers have the role players to improve their defense, so having Durant and Lillard playing together who are consistent in the offense could make this team great, but it's not guaranteed though as we never know if their chemistry will click.

Fell like very good which is dream back on 2017 year! If i can got 2017 year buying opportunity then i would like to invest most to currency like btc and bnb.
The problem is we cannot go back anymore, unless if you have a time machine, LOL.
2017 was year of buying opportunity but 2018 onwards before the recent bull run was a better year of buying because prices are cheap especially the coins you mentioned which is the btc and BNB.

What was a profitable year 2017 because bounty, airdrop, new project investment everything was profitable. Maybe you miss the year 2017? Even now market goes to sleeping.
Bounty isn't as profitable already like in the past, but you can still make money from bounty if you choose the right project and you are also patient enough.
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 27, 2022, 03:54:35 AM

Well Garcia was really exposed on that fight, but I would say that Campbell has power and good fundamentals thats why he was able to get that left hook during their exchanges and knock down Garcia unexpectedly. I wouldn't say though that it was a weakness, maybe he was really caught off guard. And every boxer caught like that with that one big shot will likely go down. But if he will have to face a boxer with power like Kambosos Jr and Tank Davis, he better not to get hit like that otherwise he will sure be getting into the canvass again.

That's a solid punch after being careless with his movement, and like what you said, if that kind of punch will hit him against those known strong and solid fighter he might not have a chance to stand up and probably he will be KO. He needs to be more careful and practice his fundamentals, he's still young and he have a big room to improve his fighting capabilities.

He will be tested on this fight against Fortuna and he needs to show more defense not to expose himself again and avoid being
too much aggressive when attacking or throwing his punches.

That even help him realize that he is not invincible, thing is, he is still undefeated until now because he knows how to stand up and finish the fight with a win. Every boxer has a weakness and I believe that Ryan Garcia have already improve himself so that will not happen again.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you trust a gambler with your money/savings? on: June 26, 2022, 12:38:26 PM
If I'm a gambler, I would not tell the company I'm working with that I'm gambling, and if I owned the company, I would not hire a gambler to hold a position that involves finances. It's not because I hate them to be working in that position, I'm just thinking of the risk getting tempted and I believe any company that finds out a person holding a finance job is a gambler will make sure will be transferred to another department.

If the offense is not too serious then for sure there are still people that will break the law.

Crypto gives opportunity and they see it as an opportunity so they are risking money and even breaking the law.

On the other hand, you are right, they should not invest on shitcoin, so they need to educate themselves to understand how to choose the right altcoins that are legit and with great future potential, riding on the hype alone is a wrong idea as it will never give long term success.

There are already lots of altcoins that have more hype than BCH, honestly, I'm not considering BCH anymore as a good investment now, anything that is a fork of bitcoin is not good, so I'd rather choose a new project with a unique purpose.

BCH already has reach its success, it didn't even punch last bull run, so what can you expect from BCH?
