Poll: Donald Trump Hits 65 Percent in New York, More than 50 Percent Ahead of Ted Cruz

A new poll out on Thursday obliterates the latest mainstream media narrative confronting billionaire Donald Trump: That he can’t get majorities, but can only get pluralities, in election results.

The poll of New York state, conducted by Boston’s Emerson College, has Trump dominating his only two remaining competitors in the Empire State with 65 percent of Republicans there backing him. Only 12 percent back Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Trump’s closest competitor, and just one percent support Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

The poll was conducted over three days, March 14 to March 16, during two days of which Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) was still in the race. Rubio dropped out on the evening of March 15 after an abysmal performance in his home state of Florida, where Trump walloped him by more than double digits. In the portion of the poll conducted before Rubio suspended his campaign, the pro-amnesty Floridian got just four percent in New York. Nineteen percent chose someone else or were undecided.

[...]
In a video accompanying the polling release, Emerson College Polling Society adviser Spencer Kimball called Trump’s towering over Cruz and Kasich a “commanding lead.”

In a direct matchup between just Cruz versus Trump, Trump still wins New York 69 percent to 25 percent—something that will probably make Cruz backers a bit uneasy, as they’ve been hoping that a head-to-head with Trump would be more beneficial to the Texas senator.

Trump’s favorables are also higher than Cruz’s or Kasich’s ratings. “Trump has the highest favorable ratings with GOP voters, 71%/23%, followed by Cruz at 52%/44% and Kasich at 54%/34%,” the polling release states. “Consistent with other primaries, Trump supporters are the most loyal, with 89% of those who see him favorably planning to cast their ballot for him. In contrast, only 21% of Republicans who have a favorable opinion of Cruz say they will vote for him.”

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, in the words of Emerson’s release, is also “trouncing” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) of Vermont in the Democratic primary. Clinton takes 71 percent compared to Sanders’ 23 percent, a 48-point lead for the former U.S. Senator from New York—who was elected after her time as First Lady to President Bill Clinton.

Bernie Sanders Supporter Charged After Crushing Pro-Trump Roadside Sign

Local police in Missouri charged a Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) supporter with a political hit-and-run, with reckless driving, and with failing to maintain lane-control after he posted a dashboard video showing how he crushed a Donald Trump r0adside sign.

The video shows the 20-year-old Julien Thomas Schuessler crossing lanes and driving onto the side of the road to hit the sign.

I love having a jeep sometimes

Posted by Julien Schuessler on Tuesday, March 15, 2016

According to KMOV.com, Schuessler justified slamming into a roadside object as an act of love: “I did what I felt was morally right. Spread love, not hate.”

The video went viral and attracted police attention. Schuessler posted the video on Wednesday and police charged him the same day. A GoFundMe campaign to raise money for him now appears to have been deleted.

Schuessler appears to support Sanders, sharing positive posts on Facebook about the Vermont senator, along with negative posts about Trump.

This incident fits into a larger pattern in which Trump supporters are attacked or threatened with death, or their signs vandalized. At least one supporter, fed up after someone stole his Trump sign, built one out of steel.

Berniebots cannot have a sense of reality as their consciousness is based on instinct, the primal fear of losing free stuff... and their safe space.

Once Trump has this Republican primary locked in you'll see his true liberal self come out.

He'll talk about how he voted for Obama, how he supported Clinton, how he wants universal health care. He'll be the shining star that the Democrats have been looking for.

The establishment orthodoxy on all fronts (center, left, and right) have painted themselves into a corner.  Most of the things that 'their' people 'know' about Trump (violent racist bigot, hates free speech, wants to fuck his own daughter, etc) have been fabricated and implanted with no real basis in reality.  So far it works because the 'high info' people achieve their understanding by being programmed rather than looking for themselves.

The trouble with fabricated 'knowledge' which happens to be invalid is that it is difficult to sustain over long time periods.  Especially when there is pressure from a challenger which cannot be suppressed.  It's why the most dishonest attack ads occur very near voting night.  I predict that no matter how Trump plays things (or is) policy wise, those who hate him for reasons which are fabricated will progressively turn their hate and dis-trust toward their media programmers and the candidate who is being animated by said media.

Again, my prediction is that at the end of the day this person with the Dem stamp will be Joe Biden and not Hillary Clinton if they have to go up against Trump.  Not very clear who, or even what, it will be on the third-party-split-the-vote-and-install-an-establishment-puppet side.  If it is Jeb Bush we'll have a 'crime family vs. crime family' choice again.  A follow up to the 'skull-n-bones vs. skull-n-bones' choice we had in Bush vs. Kerry.

This is pretty insightful.

Can a 3rd party candidate start up at this late point in the game?  So many states have rules about things like that.

It is totally amazing that a rigged system pushed Jeb Bush vs. (the strawman) Marco Rubio AND Hit Clinton vs (the strawman) Saunders and the people totally ignored the dynamic.

On the R side, only the rebels got the votes, and on the D side, the support for the strawman was certainly unexpected.  I hope the R crowd unifies behind Bad Hair Dude and buckles down to fight the incompetent choice of the democrats.   It is quite interesting that although the invective against Trump is rising, the bad points of Hillary are simply not even contested.  Of course their scheme is to pull in prettyboy Castro for VP to divert attention away from Hillary's senility or whatever her mental problems are.

Of course, "believers" in Sanders are naive fools.  They have fallen for one of the oldest pitches.  "I'm a nice guy, and I'll give you free stuff."

It's worth noting in conclusion that a fair number of Democratic talking points are "let's ignore some of those laws we don't like because well, we don't like them."  To inculcate an attitude like that it helps if the primary candidate herself is an acknowledged corrupt liar.   The voter's opinions and expectations go down, he thinks they are all corrupt and liars, so why should he not vote for the liar who promises free stuff?  And the game of socialism is of course to create and give out free stuff, but only to the chosen and privileged few, not the masses.  The masses are to be impoverished, because beggars are easier and cheaper to please.

And the saudis would like to buy cheap votes, wouldn't they?

Everybody contributing to the bill, harpy and cheesecake clinton foundation is investing in cheap votes...

Given his achievements, I would guess that Trump would pull 140 or higher on Stanford-Binnet IQ tests.  That's not extremely unusual though.

You seem to have a warped view of the IQ scale...

Less than 0.5% of people have an IQ of 140+... Trump is most definitely not in the top 0.5% smartest people on the planet... not a chance
...

A quick few pokes at my calculator reveals about 35,000,000 people.  I call that a lot and 'not extremely unusual'.

I suspect that well over half of the people I've worked with over the last decade have been in this group.  That being said, many of them are remarkably inept in a lot of ways.  Probably due to the education system.  Most of them have had graduate degrees so there was plenty of opportunity to fuck up their native potential.

I sure got a lot smarter when I started unlearning what schools tough me, with a few notable exceptions.  Every election cycle, this nonsense starts.  Gore was "really smart."  Bush was "dumb as rocks."  Obama was "smart as a whip."

No, Gore isn't very smart.
No, Obama isn't "smart as a whip."
No, Bush wasn't "dumb as rocks."

These are all lies by desperate mousehives.

Bush higher SAT score than John Kerry (vanity)

Bush 1206 Kerry 1190

:rollin

Here is what we also know from New Yorker Magazine and UPI in articles from January of 2004.

-- Bush's SAT scores are higher than Bill Bradley's, Paul Wellstone's, and John Kerry's.

-- Bush scored a 1206 on his SAT, 566 of 800 on verbal and 640 of 800 on math. [Since the SAT's scale has since been "recentered," Bush's score is more like a 1300 today.]

-- Bush's verbal score would place him between the 84th and 92nd percentile of college-bound students, or the 93rd to 97th percentile of ALL high-school seniors taking the exams, the percentile usually used.

-- His math score would also place him between the 84th and 92nd percentile of college-bound students, or the 94th to 98th percentile of ALL high-school seniors taking the exams, the percentile usually used.

-- Using one method to extract IQ's from these SAT scores, Bush's IQ would be somewhere between 124 and 137. Hardly a dunce, that's at least in the top six percent of Americans.

-- We all hear of Bush's supposed college mediocrity, but in reality his "worst" courses were two C-minus scores. Accounting for grade inflation, Bush's worst grades are around today's B-minuses.

Recentered SAT: 1300 IQ: 124-137 Stupid: Definately not.

defeat, asking about his future and his next step. Rubio replied, tired, beaten, that he “won’t be anyone’s vice-president” and that he has no plans to seek re-election to the U.S. Senate. Rubio has, for all intents and purposes, quit politics.

“I’m looking forward to being a private citizen,” Rubio said to CNN today, looking weary from a long and contentious primary season.

Senator Marco Rubio returned to his day job today, attending Senate meetings and meeting with staffers to discuss how he’s going to try and work for the people of Florida in his remaining months in office. Heavily criticized on the campaign trail, Marco Rubio’s voting record has been less than stellar — the worst in the Senate in fact, and his performance in the Florida primary, his home state — reflects just how little the people of Florida think of Rubio.

Koch brothers network ready to oppose Trump

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – Donald TrumpDonald TrumpRepublican leaders quash talk of Supreme Court vote in lame duck The Trail 2016: I’ll take my worst enemy over Trump Clinton wins Missouri MORE is so fiercely opposed by the Koch brothers network that some donors believe the powerful group will intervene to stop the billionaire if it looks like he could win the Republican presidential nomination.

"They are always very hesitant to get involved in a primary, but I think if they were going to do it, this would be the time because they just hate the guy,” said a donor who attended the Koch network’s winter retreat, held over the weekend at a luxury resort on the edge of Coachella Valley.

Both officials and donors within Charles and David Koch's powerful group hope the real estate tycoon's White House bid dies a natural death so the group can avoid spending a penny of its $889 million 2016 cycle budget against him. But the Koch network's conversations over the weekend concerning what to do about Trump were more detailed than previously revealed.

On the eve of the Iowa causes, Koch network officials referred in a private meeting with donors  to focus group research that included a range of questions including some that identify Trump’s vulnerabilities.

And some influential figures in the group — which held its largest gathering ever, with 500 donors attending the weekend gathering — believe that action against Trump would be needed if he emerges dominant out of the Feb. 9 primary in New Hampshire, where he holds a commanding lead in polls.

During a private planning session on Sunday morning, a senior Koch official ran through every presidential candidate, analyzing each one's strengths and weaknesses, said a source who attended the session.

When the official got to Trump, the tone shifted. Trump, the official said, has been on the opposite side of nearly every issue the Koch group cares about, such as taxes, trade and corporate welfare.

“There's also a constitutional piece,” the same donor added. “The president's job isn't to go up there and be a Caesar-like figure.”

The Koch official shared for the first time focus group research showing that Trump’s popularity falls when voters are shown how working people have suffered as a result of his bankruptcies and business dealings in Atlantic City, N.J. Stories of Trump's efforts to enrich himself by hurting ordinary people proved most effective at generating negative views of Trump, donors were told.

Several older donors spoke passionately against Trump in the private session, and only one donor in the room made a half-hearted attempt to defend him.

New Orleans Student Leader Says “Right-Handed People” Need To Check Their Privilege…

A University of New Orleans student government executive argues that aside from white males, college students, U.S. citizens, and even right-handers need to “check their privilege.”

Darius Miner, who serves as Chief Justice of the UNO Student Government Association (SGA), claims in an op-ed for The Odyssey Monday that in order to effectively fight injustice, individuals must acknowledge a greatly expanded definition of “the dominant and advantaged groups” in our society.

“We all have a role or play a part in the way ourselves and our fellow people are treated,” he asserts. “If you think that you don’t have a role or a voice, think again.”

Miner then proceeds to identify seven categories of privilege, beginning with those that have already been targeted by others in the social justice movement and then adding several new characteristics of his own, each with instructions on how to “check” that particular privilege.

He encourages men, for instance, to “acknowledge the fact that a woman makes 77 cents per your dollar and that in business or political settings your identification is more dominant and treated more respectively [sic],” which he suggests would dissuade men from “[trying] to control what women choose to do with things that happen inside of their bodies.”

More generally, he reminds males that “you are allowed to have an opinion,” but asks them to “please reflect on your privilege whenever you form or express those opinions first.”

I think Yes. She is more trustworthy compared to other candidate as she has proven herself for a long time in government service.Though she is a woman but she is more competent.

Can you list 3 things she did you really loved?

Can't find of any? Just 1 thing?

I can think of one thing. Her success is part of the continuing political proof that Americans are fools that benefit from their forefathers stealing of premium land from the original indigenous inhabitants.
