181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 4 reason ICO market problem today on: September 08, 2018, 11:24:24 PM
The ICO market has huge problem today.
this is 4 reason

> Overvaluations
> Scam
> fraud
> Speculation

main reason is the failing market, most project failed to deliver due to current decline of trend if they liquidated then its fine. Also the flock of fraud project just to money grab and abandon their investors is really rampant that's why the price of ETH decline sharpy since demand of ETH from ICO is now low.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SELL ALL YOUR FIAT AND LIVE 100% CRYPTO!!!! on: September 08, 2018, 11:20:38 PM
A while ago (2017) there was this Dutch family that sold all their assets for BTC and is now traveling around the world. He had around 500k USD worth of BTC and expects it will at least make 5x in the next 3 years. In the meanwhile, they are living modestly and using 20% of their cryptos to trade.

Would you dare to do the same? Sell all your FIAT for CRYPTO?

nah. I don't want to gamble my future for crypto, I would invest but not everything. Doing this could lead to very risky future, crypto is here to stay but the price is very volatile and could drop way lower at the current price now.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC can go again to 20K USD? But How? on: September 08, 2018, 11:16:23 PM
It is like a dream now that BTC price was 20K USD one day! Who sold their bitcoin at 20K USD, they are the real winner! Because do you think Bitcoin price can go again to the 20K USD? I don't think so.

Because most of the people are in Panic now, they can't sell and can't hold statistically! If the market pumps again somehow, then 70% of the bitcoin and crypto holders will sell their coins first! Of everybody sells than how can Bitcoin price will increase? This is my opinion. What do you think guys?

Well for me , its too early to predict if it will surpass its last All time high. Bear market still and lots of manipulation from whales and fud attack from different sector. Bitcoin needs the ETF wether we like it or not it could boost the market and add trust. It needs massive adaptation.
184  Other / Archival / Re: So many Bounties-Which one is trusted? on: September 04, 2018, 03:46:46 PM
I have checked the latest active bounties on bountylord.com and found many of them but only few are rated as 3 or 4 so any of you here working for any of those bounties listed there and found it trusted source of earning stakes/tokens/coins... I want to do the twitter campaign...

You need to do your own research , unfortunately not all trusted will pay you, it all depend on the project itself. Some project failed to gather the soft cap amount from crowdsale thus resulting to non payment , but there still more reputable and good project out there its just hard to find one.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cut losses on: September 04, 2018, 03:45:02 PM
OK so I bought ETH a while back when it was 600 dollars.

Now that ETH is 275 is it a good move to sell my ETH and buy back in? Wouldnt profit be faster when market picks up like that or not?

Please help me understand

not good , if you're cutting loses at this stage its better to wait for atleast eth to go back to 400$ level. Selling now would cost you so much , but if you think eth will go down futher then its your choice to sell but for me its not smart to sell now at your status.
186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Market is down. on: September 03, 2018, 11:35:58 PM
This year has been a bit challenging for bitcoins as well as Ether to survive. Bitcoins are facing a quite low price now and also i think that most of the investors have taken their money off bitcoins.

Here is the graph showing us the price for bitcoins from 2009 to 2017

We all know that bitcoins really pumped a lot in 2017 but from the starting of 2018 bitcoins are low. A lot of FUD was been created and bitcoins really faced a lot of difficulties. Price for bitcoins at the starting of 2018 has been low similar to the year 2017.
I really hope that the price for bitcoins can again show us immense growth as it showed in 2017.

We all hoping for the price to recover but the last ath was really high from pump and free money flowing from forks, we need something bigger this day for it to surpass another ATH but I don't think we'll hit another one this year , as more people begin to get discourage about bear market and afraid to lose more.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Downsides to crypto on: September 03, 2018, 11:33:39 PM
Yeah, the downside for me is all about the price. The current value of bitcoin is very volatile that holding one is very risky at the moment when you expect good return crypto currency are not for you since its price is shifting every minute.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Eminem's New Song [Album] mentions Bitcoin :D on: September 02, 2018, 11:28:33 PM
any form of news from celebrity is a good addition to the crypto community, haven't heard the song of Eminem as I don't like rap songs. This is a good free publicity and we all know how famous he is , and this could give somehow an impact to people who doesn't have any idea what btc is.
189  Other / Archival / Re: EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY on: September 02, 2018, 11:19:15 PM
If you take an assessment, a lot of citizens are not yet informative what is cryptocurrency is....like bitcoin and other altcoins. One proof is that others can be deceived by swindlers because of lack of knowledge regarding crypto currencies. . They invest with the wrong people because of considering in unfounded information and hearsays.
Educating people regarding crypto will not make them to mislead. Educators can teach about crypto inside school especially in economic subject/s because it has a big role nowadays.
As Tom Emmer stated, “ People tend to fear what they don’t know. If people sailing the oceans at the time of Columbus had believed the world is flat, we wouldn’t have had the great discoveries of the New World.”

Educating them to be aware of the revolutionary technology would benefit us all specially us who understand cryptocurrencies and blockchain , doing so would make cryptocurrency much more acceptable worldwide and could enable the full potential of blockchain to be implemented to different things.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long time will take to market rise ? on: September 01, 2018, 11:38:13 PM
How long time will take the markets go high ? What are your ideas about market cycle ?

This market getting worse day by day so what should I do for it? Should I wait for more time?

noone could give you a factual or definite answer to this , as market trend in bearish. All we can hope is it stabalize and rally again. The only thing we can do is wait or do trade from the volatility and earn something in it.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin uses too much energy? on: September 01, 2018, 11:36:12 PM
It does the consumption is very high , the flock of new miners and old ones are making electricity demand high and non profitable to mine due to rising demand and supply for electricity in mining btc alone. Mining cause too much consumption using energy.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe someday there will be clarity about who really Satoshi Nakamoto? on: September 01, 2018, 11:33:49 PM
Please write your writing down, I am very thirsty about information about this.

Some things are better off unknown and left unsaid, I guess there's no real reason why nakamoto should reveal his real identity. But the only thing I'm he's not Craig Wright or some fake satoshi claiming he's the real nakamoto.

I don't think its smart idea when you're 70% down. It's like throwing away your funds , but if you wanna go for it and believe it will somehow cut your losses and recover some then go for it.
194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is a virtue in Cryptocurrency Trading. on: August 28, 2018, 12:18:33 PM
Cryptocurrency is a no go area if you are an “emergency investor “. By emergency investor, i imply someone who invests in cryptocurrency to get profits within some short period of time in order to settle some immediate financial. The probability of that happening cannot be ruled out, but in instances where they occur, the probability is about 1/10.

Patience is a virtue for bitcoin and another cryptocurrency investment. Prices exhibit intermittent Bearish and Bullish movements over short periods of times which may leave investors confused as to what step to take.

A successful investor studies the market, invests in a coin that always rises remarkably after a significant drops and take decisions in moments of highs and lows.

This will save a lot of anxious investors who sell their coins when prices are dropping, causing them to lose significantly.

Yes! that's one of few main reason newbie burnt out from trading and investing , they don't have the patience and calmness to deal the stressful volatile market of cryptocurrency, we can't blame them thought since the price of btc may lose its value in a matter of minute and pump in a matter of second
195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who believes in HODLING? on: August 28, 2018, 12:17:02 PM
Hello people!

Was looking at CMC and was wondering few years down the line what we will be able to see in this list and how long it will be?

Reality is we are very early in this industry and the pace at which projects are coming up and the technology is changing does anyone believe in HODLING cryptos anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum?

I feel it's a buzz word used to create a FOMO effect

Well for me I believe there are certain coin that's worth holding and there is also shit coin. If you are an early adopter then all the holding already paid off when bitcoin and some alternative coins set there all time high, For me it's a matter of luck and patience.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH, road down to $50? on: August 27, 2018, 02:07:18 PM
what do you think is the real value of ETH ?

the only usage is for ICOs and they have been dying or losing their market at the very least as they either get banned or people simply stop trusting them anymore.

as for its supply, it is huge already. we have passed 101 million ether already and there is no max amount to it either. we will see it increase indefinitely.

in my opinion the real value of it is visible on ETC so ETH should also be wort the same or at least near that price which is why $50 was my choice.
what do you think?

50$ is low but let's see , i can attest to this some ICO's from the past are dying and many people lost trust to icos as they failed to deliver what they promised. Hopefully we'll bounce back to that and wont drop to 50$ level.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your worst investment decision this year on: August 27, 2018, 02:03:54 PM
This year has been a year to forget for cryptocurrency investors.from the hopes and aspirations in January to the frustrations and regrets of August. What has been ur worst investment this year?

Bought some Trx during ATH , and regretted it instantly . became a bag holder and still holding it with so much losses , also held some npxs i dont know but im really a sucker i bought high still holding though waiting for the right time , cant just sell and throw away my money that easy.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or bitcoin on: August 27, 2018, 05:54:17 AM
Simple for me it's bitcoin , I believe in decentralization where no one controlling it and I dont like the idea of ripple being all pre-mined, also being centralized it's a no no for me. So bitcoin is the clear winner for me.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MARKET IS RED AGAIN on: August 27, 2018, 05:51:23 AM
May be this year is the worst year for the crypto. market is very uncertain and no one knows the reason All we have is just a "hope" do you really believe that crypto will revive again.. i am losing hope now

Market being red is inevitable, it's part of it. The volatility and unpredictable of market also speculations surrounding this market. It's a trend that when market turns green expect it to be red later or tomorrow. Nothing new about market being red we're still in bear trend.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IDEX IS SO BAD on: August 26, 2018, 10:59:03 PM
Had to youtube a video just to learn how to deposit my ETH on IDEX. The user experience is really bad.

Once you connect your metamask wallet it nowhere states that you have to deposit your ETH into their wallet. There is no part of their guide as well that tells you that you have to click on "QUICK BALANCES" just to deposit ETH because when you go to the The "BALANCES" page ETHEREUM IS NOT LISTED. Wasted so much time going to youtube and searching for guides god damn the token i was going to buy already pumped.

IDEX IS A BAD EXCHANGE NO BETTER THAN ETHERDELTA. I hope some IDEX people read this your exchange SUCKS.

Not to mention trading and withdrawal FEES are a RIP OFF.

been using it for quite some time now , never had encounter some error. Maybe sometimes your internet connection sometime affects some issue when trading there, its a matter of choice though. I prefer idex than etherdelta.
