I see 3 new coins added Today by Yobit but no CROC Cry

Give it time.

In other news: Croc-lo is officially accepting CROC now. Improvements throughout the week. startsts is working with me to decrease wait times.

The things on my list:

* Total rolls over time
* Top wins in the past 24 hours
* Save last used username, address and amount bet (for now, I'm leveraging auto-fill in browsers.)

If you encounter anything strange please bring it to my attention.

Note this is seriously alphaware. Hence why betting amounts are so low. I do not want anyone losing big money or being stupid  Roll Eyes

Testing cryptohub.online integration...Chat implementation is also complete. Hang tight Smiley Should be released tonight or tomorrow.

uBlock Origin I *think* is unaffected. I looked at the detection code and it's some AdBlock detector (FuckAdBlock).

In any case, I think faucets are a good idea, but they should be consistent, rather than what's happening here (chance-based).
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SHIFT] Speculation - Next 100x coin on: August 28, 2017, 04:43:46 PM
What price predictions do you have for this coin within a years time?
$10 this year.

If that happens I will legit give you $10. You can quote me on it. Smiley

I agree that ASIC is not a problem. Actually the more SHA-256 coins, the cheaper ASIC mining will become in the long run, meaning everyone can participate eventually.

Sometimes is it better than going in and putting in 8 hours or more for someone.
DeepOnion $6000 in 1.5 months for free. Work? Who needs that Grin Ponzi all the way))

I do NOT support DeepOnion, but whatever you are morally ok with. It is going to hurt a lot of people. I even wrote an article on it if you're interested: http://currypto.club/hello-world/deep_onion/traversing-the-deeponion

Note I do not say DeepOnion is a scam - it's just a really shitty project with a shitty person leading it along. I also do not say "dump your DeepOnion".

But lets not start this here. I know you are just into DeepOnion for the free money, like 99.9% of all its other supporters :')
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| CrocodileCash | PoW/DPOS/PoS Hybrid | Snap Them Up Fast | Android Wallet | on: August 28, 2017, 02:12:32 PM
How did I miss this one.... oh that's right work stints....

Sometimes I think crypto is a better money earner than hard labour

How does the Croc-lo game work ? When I get some CROC how would I deposit some to play ? I don't quite understand it Cheesy

Croc-lo is essentially chinese street dice. You would deposit it to a 1-time address. This is all coming very soon (1-2 days), along with some minor style changes and a chat.

I don't know about "better money earner", I worked my ass off to get it out the door, and earned about $800 for a weeks worth of work, which is average for what I do. Note that what I've created is NOT a fork, and as far as I know, hasn't been made for any cryptocurrency yet.

What game would you have made? Maybe I can help you. The more to use CROC with, the more useful and valuable it becomes.

I agree we need some sort of banner creator for a multitude of CrocodileCash related things (or create one that includes them all)
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| CrocodileCash | PoW/DPOS/PoS Hybrid | Snap Them Up Fast | Android Wallet | on: August 27, 2017, 05:05:09 PM
I have successfully compiled CrocodileCash with GCC 6 on Debian. This is because libmemenv and libleveldb were not compiled with -fPIC.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| CrocodileCash | PoW/DPOS/PoS Hybrid | Snap Them Up Fast | Android Wallet | on: August 26, 2017, 03:30:23 PM
Gizzard: sounds good!

startsts: Could you remove the "500 satoshi is the recommended price" message from the market page? It's not modest to be recommending prices as an exchange. Obviously this affects the market price, for better or for worse. (pump to 500/dump to 500). I'm sure everyone would appreciate it! Even though my CROC is worth $800 at that price I still care about the community more than artificially pumping the price.

Hey boys, thank you for the feedback. Seems like there is no more, so I will get to work on another update.

I am having trouble compiling the headless wallet still.

My latest error (linking error):

/usr/bin/ld: CrocodileCash/src/leveldb/libleveldb.a(logging.o): relocation R_X86_64_32 against `.rodata.str1.1' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC

Apparently this is my issue https://forge.imag.fr/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/camitk/index.php/FAQ#.5BLinking_error.5D_Relocation_R_X86_64_32S_against_.60.rodata.27

I wonder if it's because I'm using gcc 6. Going to add -fPIC to xCXXFLAGS and give it a shot.

I guess I will have to downgrade, or somehow fix this issue in the source code...

My ssl version is 1.1.0f.

Thank you for helping me out

EDIT: installing libss1.0-dev seems to have fixed it Smiley
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| CrocodileCash | PoW/DPOS/PoS Hybrid | Snap Them Up Fast | Android Wallet | on: August 25, 2017, 09:23:08 PM
Getting build errors...Particularly anything to do with Bignum. Anyone else experience this? I'm building the headless wallet.

This is my gcc version: gcc (Debian 6.3.0-18) 6.3.0 20170516

I see it says I should build with 4.9 - is that what others have done?

BANK rolled a 1,1,1 and won with a score of 20 Trip but I didn't get to roll, why ?

Because a triple is an automatic win for the Bank. I'm using Wikipedia's description as the standard for my game.

If the bank had gotten n,n,1, it would've lost instantly. It's funny because this happened for you:

Quote
BANK rolled a 1,2,2 and won with a score of -1 but I didn't get to roll, why ?

You said "and won", but actually the Bank lost - that's why you are highlighted as Green. I don't know why the "You've won!" didn't appear though... In fact I don't see "You've lost!" either appear, odd.

You didn't get to roll because you didn't have to - you either instantly won or lost in both of the cases you posted!

Not sure why username suddenly disappeared!

I never got to test the multiplayer since nobody was in the room although it does seem like great way to bring the crowd to the game.

Multiplayer was probably the hardest part of all this. The game itself did not take long to implement. It is extremely difficult covering all these edge cases. To be transparent, it is even possible to pay money to Croc-lo, but be "kicked" from the lobby by the host. It is a very tiny window of time, but is not exploitable, because the host does not know if someone is connecting or not. Someone is considered "joined" only when their payment has gone through. There is also no benefit to people who do this. Because:

In these cases, users can contact me with their Tx hash, and I will refund them. It can be automated as well, but I'm not sure how reliable that could be. Manual intervention seems like the best course of action.

The only way to avoid this is create an account system, have players send money to their accounts, and start games using their account credits, which a huge fucking slew of complexity I don't want to touch. This is essentially what all walled-garden online casinos do. It is a non-issue as I said if I issue refunds either manually or automatically.

This is also why only relatively small amounts of CROC can be used (1-100). It is not like a casino where you are physically there with reality-based security (lol)! Plus if something goes wrong it is not the end of the world, and worst comes to worst, I can issue a refund based on what has happened.

The way I have it now is ideal in the sense that everything is dealt in absolutes - we are only dealing with CROC.

top 10 highs wins,

So here's the thing: there is no database attached to this sucker. I do not record anything. This was out of lack of time and no need honestly. I have architectured and developed everything from scratch over the week after work. As far as I know, this is the first (!) and only cryptocurrency Cee-lo implementation in existence.

I can record number of rolls, but if the server restarts they will be lost. Same goes for top 10 anything.

Keep the feedback coming Smiley I will continue working on it tonight.

Kill me D:

What do you mean? Here's the source code right here. I have it running just fine on my Ubuntu installation.
https://github.com/RangaBoom/CrocodileCash

Ah, I had assumed no Linux binary meant no Linux support either.

Thanks!

Have you connected my API? Or installed your own CROC server daemon?

I haven't yet. Please read the last couple pages of this thread Smiley

It will be done, don't worry Wink

If everything goes well, I can use your API for other cryptocurrencies. Like I said previously, for now, I am remaining CrocodileCash exclusive to show my support.

Once CrocodileCash is put onto an exchange, I will wait 1-2 months before adding support for other cryptocurrencies.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| CrocodileCash | PoW/DPOS/PoS Hybrid | Snap Them Up Fast | Android Wallet | on: August 25, 2017, 01:35:44 PM
OK folks, report issues back here.

http://currypto.club:3001

Note it is very possible the server will crash, so if you get a "server did not respond" error, that is why.

Feedback I'm looking for:

1. Anything you might find weird.
2. UI suggestions.
3. Bugs, or what you might think is a bug.

I would like to add a chat to this game too, but that will have to wait.

Eventually I will host it at http://croclo.currypto.club

Gizzard, is this enough for now to claim my bounty?
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| CrocodileCash | PoW/DPOS/PoS Hybrid | Snap Them Up Fast | Android Wallet | on: August 25, 2017, 04:20:27 AM
Because I can't get it out tonight (I'm still debugging a few things that I know of), here are some screenshots!

If I have more time, I would like to have little 3D dice rolling around. For now, I've gone with looks clean and simple.

I still need to download the wallet so I can get my bounty...!
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| CrocodileCash | PoW/DPOS/PoS Hybrid | Snap Them Up Fast | Android Wallet | on: August 25, 2017, 12:54:29 AM
How are the crocodiles doing over here? Everything going according to plan?

Finishing up the multiplayer support for Croc-lo. Gizzard has forked some project to get CrocodileCash a paper wallet.

I'm going to put up a demo tonight of Croc-lo, which will not be connected to any payment processor/online blockchain API. There are two reasons for this:

1. Secure my bounty for 30,000 CROCs.
2. Get you guys to test it out without losing your money.

Standby my reptilian friends

The neatest thing is I can support other altcoins quickly, but I am going to remain CrocodileCash exclusive for the time being to show my support.

It may be in our best interest if someone creates a signature banner for Croc-lo. I personally don't have time for it (I am already spending time I shouldn't be on this!).

Hi guys, any chanel telegram / slack? we need this for sure  Grin

All developments are actually happening in this thread, haha.

To be honest I like it. Total transparency for everyone.

I will create a separate support thread for Croc-lo when it's out soon.

I do not like having a million web based services open. It is just annoying.

When real work happens, it's best to post it here. Telegram/Discord should be for real-time collaboration and non-important talk.
