I bet everyone would want to know that, but I'm not sure these criteria are available yet. I don't really understand the question about market evaluation...will scientificcoin also do that? According to their beta platform criteria are e.g. evaluation of project developer, project recognition, science intensity, project results, novelty, profitability, etc. They have also listed some projects with scores but don't know if this is already for real. With time all this will be clarified and improved, I think that after launch the platform, amendments will be made to make this rating as objective as possible. Actually, before finalizing an Ico it is complicated to provide all the support as they have done and work in partnerships, conferences, and at the same time keep working on the platform full time. Which announcement do you mean? I saw the last announcement was a deal for 1m $  I guess that announcement about the 1m$ investment is what he meant. I guess the number one challenge for the devs is how they could get scientists and innovators to utilize the platform and if this will be resolve accordingly, then I am sure this project will be successful in no time.  They would need to work hard on attracting projects to their platform - a good marketing strategy would be handy in this situation. Hope the team is working on it. Yeah the crucial part is the project is this. If they can lure projects in their platform, the project becomes amazing, if not, another dead token. But their team looks like they can. Indeed at the end of the day the success of the projects they can get is the success of the platform. The platform will provide a lot of opportunities to the scientific community, so with good execution I don't see why scientificcoin platform wouldn't be successful. They will be able to get annual dividends according to how much each project raised. 5 % of the money they raise will go to a fund which will then pay off dividends. You mean 5% from annual profit of this projects? I think this is too small for dividend payment. How will be used rest 95% of profit? They are not giving %5 of the profit, they are giving %5 of the gross. There is a huge difference and it is not small at all. I hope is the case, the project is indeed a long one to develop and doesn't promise lambos or great returns in no time, that is also what got interested me in the first place.

Not every project is for money and lambos. Some may solve real world problems with their vision and implementations. eHealth will be one of those and have great hopes on it. But at the end money will be the main target for every projects. If ehealth able to solve the real problem then the chance to get steady money in the long period of time will be there. I share the same thought, nevertheless I think this project is noble and in the near future, could be an essential tool to help resolve human health issues. Imho. That's the key, if they manage to solve the problem of having medical assistance everywhere. Then the profits should be there. Maybe this project has a good idea. In many countries, many scientific is lack of expense for researching activities. If this project does the work well, there are many benefits to many parties.
v I wouldn't limit our platform to countries missing a developed funding structure. In Las Vegas we have been approached by an incubator of the University of Washington to list some projects I think that except a few high reputation scientifics, the rest of them have problems to get founds for their researches. So I can see why this platform can be interesting in almost every country. Yes, of course first tier projects from Harvard or Stanford don't need to spend time for funding: they already have VC knocking at their doors. For the rest, funding is much more troubling If they think this platform can help them, i think people form developed counties can use it also but i think counties with less opportunities would profit more from Scientificcoin, i hope it will spread trough most of the counties. If I were a scientist and I would like to place my project on your system, what would I have to do?
I dont think they have all figured out yet just the basic concept. I imagine a platform, where you register your project on which will go under some kind of review before offered for crowdfunding. Yeah, I think it will be unbureaucratic but you have to identify yourself to the team so that scams become less likely and go trough an audit or review. First they have to develop the platform and test it. Then projects will start to be added. I guess before they launch the platform they will publish the requirements to join theplatform. You are right, over time these requirements will be improved on the previous experience. The main thing is that these requirements and ratings were to all projects are the same, without bias. |

I dont expect every basement scientist will get crowdfunded by this platform. They will have to have some credentials for sure otherwise you will be able to exploit this idea. I am sure they realise, they will still have to do a lot to convince future investors but on the other hand, it could be a gold mine if you find the right project. Yeah, I bet only those projects with brilliant and promising ideas will be included and will get appropriate funding in this platform. Yes, the idea that looks make sense and have good future should be the projects that will be included in the platform. Science project usually have a long period of time to be true therefore investors need a great patience. I hope they name a few projects before the ICO. Actually, I feel that this project is kind of fortunate to have a longer roadmap which is quite good right now considering the recent market turmoil experienced by everyone. I don't think that a long road map is an advantage, no one can say with certainty what will happen with crypto in 5 years. Yes, they raised good amount of money, but everything will depend on the further teamwork. True, long term can be a disadvantage since we don't really know what will happen with crypto in the next 5 or 10 years from now. Only people who has good confidence will benefit from such long term project if everything work as planned. I know one project related with healthcare it's - Patientory - unfortunately they didn't live up to expectations and this token has been down in price. It all depends on the team, I hope they will work hard, and don't repeat mistakes like it was with Patientory. |
