181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mid-year, buy or sell ? on: July 09, 2018, 03:15:51 PM
It is true that we have seen troughs in the past six months of this year. Now, we have reached the mid-year, I think we're having a good start to have a strong finish by the end of the year 2018. A correction in the market is necessary to establish a strong support. Although, it is still important to have own strategy and know when to cut-loss or take profit to win against the market.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: July 09, 2018, 02:04:20 PM
Profit from altcoin varies. It depends on the masses' adaptation of that project. If they start to lose interest in it, it is possible for the price to drop dramatically, worse is for that project to be abandoned completely and will become a dead coin. I experienced a profit gain at 2000% on a certain coin, I also had a loss of around 90% on some.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did you agree that for crypto to continue growing we need a large huge volume?? on: July 06, 2018, 04:38:43 PM
Certainly the market needs another volume spike to breach the previous ATH. But, I don't think smart money and institutional investors will go straight to the trading market to buy crypto. Instead, they will discreetly purchase over the counter. The weak hands need to shed off from the market along with the bears that are trying to pull the price down. This is an exciting moment for crypto and I am looking forward to Q4 of 2018.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Bitcoin Bulls are serious and Bitcoin is on the verge of going to the moon! on: July 06, 2018, 04:21:45 PM
The bulls haven't made their move yet. The low volume trading means they are still waiting for the bears to get weak. Who knows, they could be accumulating discreetly by bagging lots of BTC thru over the counter purchases. Once they have entered the market, we will surely see the spike on trading volume which will attract the public and may go beyond the previous ATH. My bet would be on the start of Q4 2018, a volume spike could occur.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are your plan for altcoin on: July 06, 2018, 03:46:28 PM
My investment plan with crypto currencies is both for long-term and short term to medium term trading. My strategy for long-term is cost averaging method wherein I've set a date when I will take profit which is modifiable depending on the market price. For short-term to medium term trading, these are the profit from my previous investments on master nodes and POS coins.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fear for empty balance in future.. on: July 06, 2018, 02:53:51 PM
Fear not because you already have the future in your hands. You should think carefully, not just twice, but thrice before clicking that sell button. If you really do need the money though, there is nothing wrong in selling and cut losses. But, if you have invested what you can afford to lose in the first place, just hold it in and wait for a bullish reversal. Just be patient and learn how to divert yourself from your investment in crypto and enjoy life outside your monitor.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: July 06, 2018, 01:13:10 PM
Low-volume coins and tokens have a reputation that there is a higher risk, but higher reward. Mostly, they are being played using pump-and-dump method. There are some projects that have good news, reason for investors to buy that coin. Usually, news like coin swap, airdrops, core upgrade, fork, partnerships, YouTube and other social media advertisement, etc. contributes to the upbringing of a project.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin affect to the other cryptocurrencies? on: July 06, 2018, 12:11:09 PM
Bitcoin being the pioneer in crypto currencies greatly affect some altcoins. Most of the countries doesn't have conversion yet from fiat to an altcoin, usually Bitcoin is the first crypto they can purchase before they can convert it to other coins. Bitcoin is still the most popular coin as of today and I don't think that it will be replaced by any other coins anytime soon.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The start of bull market? on: July 05, 2018, 04:49:09 PM
I don't think this is the start of another bull run. We still need more confirmations to consider it a bull run, such as high volume spikes and fundamentals such as news about more merchants adapting crypto in their businesses. It could be another manipulation because smart money tends to buy over the counter, but accusations wouldn't do anything because no one's responsible for our investment but ourselves. We just got to have our strategy in beating the market.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: July 05, 2018, 03:54:46 PM
Many projects are dead because people have lost their interest in those coins. This is why accusations of scam are everywhere because during the ATH of most coins, people started to invest left and right on whatever crypto that has high yield. Investment in such projects need attention, thorough research, and participation in the community to keep updated with the roadmap and milestones.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum market value reach $11,000 before end of December this year? on: July 05, 2018, 03:13:28 PM
I wouldn't expect for ETH's price level to reach $11k by the end of this year. The insane price increase last year across crypto was just because of the hype that attracted many new investors who doesn't even do research before investing, resulting to a parabolic rise which was also the cause of the downfall that we're still experiencing. ETH will only have another breakout once Amazon and other big corporations announce the integration in their system.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: At what price would you have NO hesitation to buy Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2018, 02:47:06 PM
I would never hesitate to buy BTC and convert some of the funds from my stocks and mutual funds at a price level of $2-$3k which was the same level last year the first time I purchased BTC. It will be like back to the future for me which is a golden opportunity I wouldn't dare to miss. But, the chances could be low to retrace back to that price level. I think $5.7k is already the floor price for BTC in the current market situation. Whatever happens, I would still continue to accumulate using cost averaging method for long term.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No Bull Run in 2018? on: July 05, 2018, 02:22:47 PM
We have to prepare in anything that will happen in the crypto market. Expect less so that we wouldn't be disappointed with the result. If the investor invested only what he can afford to lose, he wouldn't mind about the price fluctuation and will maintain whatever strategy he has to adapt in any situation. For long term investors, we all know that the market wouldn't be forever in a downtrend.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Give you Confidence About cryptos? on: July 04, 2018, 04:05:32 PM
I am confident that crypto currencies and the technology behind it will be crucial in shaping the future. The same with internet, in the developing world, a technological advancement for utilization in many aspects in real world to make transactions more convenient will be necessary. Gaining profit from crypto investment is just the tip of the iceberg.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Persistence is more important than luck? on: July 04, 2018, 12:47:22 PM
It seems that OP have learned the lesson well. I definitely agree with everything he said regarding bounty hunting. Our community aims to help those who are in need and give constructive criticism to when necessary There was a time during my current campaign that a participant did not follow the rules stated by the campaign manager and the forum rules about burst posting, he was blacklisted due to completion of the signature campaign's requirement of 25 posts in 1 day.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People giving up, this is getting dangerous on: July 04, 2018, 11:47:01 AM
I don't think that the whales are at fault in the recent downfall across cryptoverse. They just did what they are supposed to do, when everyone's buying, they sell - Buy Low, Sell High. When everyone's selling, they could be buying discreetly so that it won't be obvious to the public eye - it is part of their strategy. What the public should be doing including us small time investors is to think like the whales and swim with the waves they create, Better days will come.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is necessary for Human Resources & Development ?? on: July 04, 2018, 11:07:06 AM
I agree that once the full potential of the technology behind crypto currencies has been integrated with real life utilization, the world economy will be boosted. Currently, crypto currency is known to be a tradable asset which could generate massive gains or losses through investment. Advancement in technology is necessary for the generation to come.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have a bad feeling about this rally! on: July 04, 2018, 10:26:05 AM
There is no point from OP's words. The demand for BTC compared last year is much greater and I think it would surpass the trillion dollar market cap within Q4 of this year because of the recent adaption news of the blockchain in many industries. Most institutional investors and smart money are not yet trading in the market. They could be buying bargains over the counter to keep them low profile for them to accumulate discreetly.  I could be wrong, but I still do believe that in long term, crypto currencies have a bright future once full development and utilization in many aspects are in sight.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Q3 and Q4 on: July 04, 2018, 08:47:01 AM
Let us not expect too much on the price of most crypto currencies to recover soon and have another bull run because it may lead to another disappointment and further hopelessness if it didn't happen. Just make sure we have our own strategy on how to deal with whatever situation is happening to beat the market and gain profit.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best passive income on: July 03, 2018, 04:36:39 PM
I would suggest you to do your own research about these coins I will mention. BUZZCOIN, which has a great fundamental and they are soon having a core upgrade and a coin swap, they will also have a master node that will require a specific amount of coins. DIGIWAGE, their project which can impact and shape the future of freelancers industry through their decentralized freelance workplace. MAG can also be profitable for long term, they are starting to acquire partnership and merchants. Buy them while they are all still cheap.
