181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I keep my BTC now? on: April 09, 2018, 01:18:46 AM
Hi guys! I have been hold my BTC for a long time but now it's completely down and I started to think about selling it. My friend is very good trader and he advised me to keep all my BTC now and try to get some free coins from different forks because when BTC will be completely down forks will be more actual and valuable. That's why I am here to ask you how to get that fork coins for free? I have found very good fork calling Bitcoin Interest but I just can't understand how to do that.  Tell me please the best way to do that. Thanks in advance !
If you able to keep your bitcoin for a long time, I know you can hold it longer and wait patiently until the bitcoin value recovers.  During bitcoin red days, selling bitcoins is just an indication that you already accept that your investment lost.  Meaning, you gave up and you already miss the chance to gain back what you have lost.

On the other hand, if you keep holding your bitcoin even during red days, then you still have the chance to gain back what you have lost once the bitcoin value recovers and pump up.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will we stay positive on Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2018, 01:04:56 AM
Undersiege by negative articles for the past couple of months. Banned in different countries. Hated by some billionairs. Yet, i am one of the millions who still stay positive on bitcoin.. Western countries have been very positive on btc also. Try to spend time reading this https://www.ccn.com/retailer-adoption-of-bitcoin-is-growing-in-the-us-and-canada-despite-price-fall/. This might help you also boost confidence on btc behind the downfall of its price nowadays.

Let me know your insights on this..
Wow.  the said article will give some light to those who are weary and doubting about cryptocurrency.  I think we should spread more articles like this specially during this time.

Just think about this, If the owner of starbucks are willing to adopt cryptocurrency soon considering the fact that bitcoin has a volatile nature, I believe it is a good indication that there are some other known establishment owner worldwide also has a thought of adopting crypto currency soon.

Besides, the correction of bitcoin price is also an indication of healthier crypto environment.  If the Eruopean countries have the positive perspective about the possible role of  cryptocurrency in the future, I also believe that other countries are willing to follow the footstep of the said countries once crypto became legalize on the said countries.

183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: April 09, 2018, 12:31:33 AM
Does Bitcoin Need The Social Media's Help To Promote Itself?

Well, Bitcoin needs all the help that we can get. With its current situation, Bitcoin Foundation is just thinking out of the box to help Bitcoin recover and might even succeed.

With the help of Social Media, bitcoin can attract new and young users. Learn about bitcoin and eventually adopt it.

Maybe this is the first step of mass adoption.

What do you think?
Yes, social media will be a great help in bitcoin promotion.  Through social media advertisement, it can reach every people around the world who are facebook user.  Even they show no interest about it and commonly just ignore it , if their friends share about how bitcoin changes their lives, they already have initial information because of what they read on their newsfeed.   Their initial knowledge will become a pivot point to learn more about bitcoin that might encourage them to engage on it.

I believe that the advertisement shared on social media will not be useless instead it is the best way to spread the good news about bitcoin.   This step is like a seed that sooner or later will start to sprout and grow.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Planning to sell all my btc as its too low now :( on: April 08, 2018, 09:35:36 AM
Hi guys me want suggestions

me planning to sell all my btc and wana buy etherium  ETH as btc is down 6.23 % in 24 hr and eth is down 10.68 % so me thinking best time to buy eth as it will grow

what says guys ?
I do not think your plan will benefit you instead your plan might just place you into regret when the value of bitcoin recovers.  Just think about this, if you sell all your bitcoin possession because of its market price today, then, you just miss the opportunity to gain back what you have lost. Those people who will take advantage to buy your bitcoin will rejoice when the bitcoin price recover and pump up.  When bitcoin is back on green, the situation will made them rejoice from their bitcoin earnings while you suffer from regret for losing them because you have been carried away by your emotion and impatience attitude.  So, if I were you, it is better to just keep it and wait patiently.

Investing in ether while the price is low is also a good idea but I disagree to replace your bitcoin by ether.  Why? because bitcoin is much stable than ether.  This is proven throughout the history.    Instead of planning to sell your bitcoin possessions and replace, why not just keep your bitcoin and just add some ether into your portfolio.  In that way, you will both benefit from the two coins when they both pump up.
185  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: April 08, 2018, 08:26:04 AM
Today's economy is either rising or falling depending on the consumers and sellers. If you join the Bitcoin, there is a high probability that you will gain something from your money because there are a lot of opportunities here. So my question is, "Where do you usually spend your money that you have gained here in Bitcoin?"
Me and my husband are both gaining income from bitcoin.  My husband earning was intended to support our family needs while my bitcoin earnings was intended for family savings and investment.

Commonly, my bitcoin/altcoin earnings I get from signature/campaign, was not intended to spend but to keep.  This is because I believe that bitcoin is good for  long time investment and it will be more valuable if I keep it.  This is the reason why bitcoin price on the market today doesn't really matter to me and what matter most for me is the bitcoin price in the future.

But unfortunately, when needed arises, I get some of bitcoin possession to support my family financial needs and this one thing I am thankful about bitcoin.  It serve as my savings/ investment where I can easily look up to in case of emergency.  Before we engage in bitcoin I do not have any savings.  Thanks to bitcoin, it really change my life.

186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid in crypto on: April 07, 2018, 02:14:49 PM
Would you be fine with, or prefer, getting paid in crypto?

Why / why not? Does the amount you get paid for matter for you?
Definitely yes, and actually,  it is better for me if the payment is in form of crypto. Why simply because when the payment is in form of crypto it automatically means that its value is not constant and has the tendency to increase its value.  I am also informed and aware that it also has the tendency to decrease its value but as a true believer of bitcoin, as long as I can hold my cryptos and treat it as a good form of long time investment.  I keep it because the current value of crypto does not matter to me because what matter most is the value of crypto in the future.  So, I always considered that its value will increase.

Everybody works hard to be able to earn money so, price always matter .  Currently, I am satisfied with what I have earned from joining bounty/signature campaigns weather I earn tokens or bitcoins.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: king of all coins on: April 07, 2018, 01:51:44 PM
new coins that have come a lot in the crypto world have an impact on the market price. however, after the arrival of the same ripple operates behind the blockchain.
will this coin replace BITCOIN or BITCOIN will continue in its position and remain the king of all coins?
No matter how many altcoins will introduce in the market with new features and technology, still I believe that bitcoin will never be replaced in the market.  Why? simply because all other altcoins is based on the concept of bitcoin.  Plus, bitcoin became established throughout the history.  Bitcoin already been through different challenges.  But still, its survived.  Through that, more investors trusted and have confidence on it.  So, even its value pump or dump, many people still stick on it.

On the other hand, I do not have doubt that some altcoin will also became successful considering their unique features and might reach bitcoin price but I doubt that it can replace bitcoin as a king of cryptocurrency.  Altcoin will always be the queen of bitcoin even in the future.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: April 07, 2018, 01:17:23 PM
I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy
Wow, what a journey you had been.  It only means that failure does not mean "end of the world" instead failure can lead you to "success" if you never give up and and have the positive attitude of  trying new things.   It only means that "failure"  can  give you opportunity to recreating yourself to become wiser person through upgrading your knowledge that might leads you to success.  What an inspiring story!

Just like you, I also began with bitcoin as a complete rookie and no proper knowledge.  At first, I am just curious what bitcoin is.  By then, I do not believe completely on its concept. But unlike you, I do not try cloud mining or different services.  I tried to join in a bounty campaign expecting nothing when I ranked as Jr. Member.  After joining it, I completely forget it not knowing that it will give me chance to earn tokens.  Unfortunately, when the manager ask the participants to finalized the wallet address where they should send the tokens, I failed to comply because I just posted then I do not monitor the thread again.  After 3 months, I decided to revisit the ICO I joined where I discovered that I already miss the chance of earning tokens because I do not verify my wallet address.  I feel stupid about myself upon knowing that my chance of earning tokens turn to bubble because  of my careless attitude and do not have faith in any ICO.  After my bad experience I started to believe on the bounty/signature campaign.  I started to earn tokens and bitcoins where I keep as a form of investment and serve as my savings in case I need flat.  Now, I can say that bitcoin and altcoin change my life in many ways.

190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: April 04, 2018, 08:16:20 AM
Bitcoin is secure because of decentralized features of it. Also bitcoin is a digital currency powered by blockchain. All transaction made from bitcoin is secure and no one can trace when and where the transaction made because of decentralized powered of it. Bitcoin user are protected from any transaction made from it.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: April 04, 2018, 07:59:39 AM
Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks
Once the market are falling and all are red I keeping buying some cryptos and hold it until the value of it will rise to my expected price. In this case patience is the most important thing we need to learn. Falling of market is one of the good opportunity to add or buy because the value of cryptos are cheap.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: April 04, 2018, 07:50:39 AM
Hi guys,

do you think it's a good time to buy ETH now? Price seems to be kinda low, but I'm not sure what to expect from ETH during the upcoming weekend & the aug1-happening after..
Do you think it's better to wait a few days...?

Since the value of ether now is too low, for me, now is the best time to invest money within. Nowadays the value of ether is turn to green and there are possibility it will continue this month of April. Before the value of ether down to almost 350 USD and now it is rapidly recover from price dump. Hoping the price ether constantly increase this second quarter of 2018.

194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MEW update? is this true? on: April 04, 2018, 02:18:07 AM
e-mail from MEW?
I use also MEW,  but i can not remind me does i have register with a e-mail adress.

so i think is not a legal e-mail.
I am also using MyEther Wallet but I did not receive any message like this.  Maybe it just part of the agenda of the scammer to threatened MEW users.  So,I think those who receive such email should check first who is the sender of it.  Because if that is legitimate from the MEW team, all members should receive the same advisory but why some of the members do not receive such e-mail.  I smell something fishy from that.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you have learnt from Bitcoin and altcoin? on: April 04, 2018, 01:50:26 AM
After getting involved in the blockchain technology, what you learned from the technology? Are you optimistic about the future of tokens?
Basically the first values and lesson that the blockchain technology taught me is the virtue of patience.
Secondly is to have Faith on what you have believe and keep hoping even we heard many negative comments about it.
Then, I learned how great blockchain technology is.  Capable of doing and creating far beyond I expect before.
I  become optimistic for the future because of the existence of blockchain technology.
196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has turned into a scam coin on: April 04, 2018, 01:40:52 AM
Currently its over 15550 USD The transactions on bitcoin network is taking me more then 24 hours no wonder the price is going up its a ponzi scheme and because its slow people are locked as they are not able to trade it
ITS just a shit coin with a hype on it. Exchangers Being Hacked Many sites having problem sending and receiving bitcoins How is this even the future. There are many other coins which has fastest transactions this is just a gimmick
BTCig shit
The dumping of bitcoin price is merely part of its volatility nature and it does not mean that it is scam because of that.  I think it is better for you to check the history of bitcoin in the market and you can observe that what we are experiencing right now also happened before.  But the good thing about it, still bitcoin recovers from dumping of price before so, it also has the capacity to recover during our time.  Bitcoin is not merely about pumping of price and earning money from your investment.  It is the role it can play in the future and how it might change the currency system worldwide.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news about the crypto currency. on: April 04, 2018, 01:26:36 AM

Recently, only you can hear  negative from the field of crypto-currency.
Let's share good news about crypto-currencies in this thread.
Inspite of suffering of altcoin from red days, it is a good sign that nowadays, we experience a little bit increasing movement from its price.  It is good news that even the value of altcoin depreciates, more investor keep holding and buying more cryptos compared to numbers of investors who sell their altcoins.
198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stocks or crypto ? which has great future? on: April 03, 2018, 02:20:52 PM
i am kinda new to Cryptocurrency .
i am going great in stocks. its really technical and fundamental kinda investments
as i see Cryptocurrency its alot more easy to invest and forget
should i shift to Cryptocurrency and start investing without tension and stress?
Being stock investor is  good so I suggest you not to leave it.  On the other hand, engaging in cryptocurrency will give you great opportunity much higher than you receive from stock investment.  Buy you have to understand its volatiliy nature before engagin unto it to avoid panic and driven by your emotion when you experience lost out of your initia investment.  So, before engaging into crypto currency, be sure that you fully undestand its nature and its history so you will gain enough knowledge and gain strong foundation about crypto currency.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you guys pay Taxes for profit? on: April 03, 2018, 01:55:13 PM
Hi.

i didn't traded so much of my crypto for FIAT so i didn't dealt with that question yet.

however i think it's an issue need to be dealt with.

1. do you use accounting services?
2.if so, do you keep documentation of all traded or bought coins?
3. what do you do in cases of profit from ICO's

WHAT SHOULD I DO??
I guess, it is depend upon the country you are living right now.  There are many investors, traders and bounty hunters who earn lot of cryptos but we pay no tax here in the Philippines.  This is because there is no specific law here requires crypto income to deduct tax.  So, it is depend upon the country's law.  If your country requires all crypto investors, traders and bounty hunter to pay tax then, it is better to pay tax to avoid future conflict.
200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading don't work for me too well on: April 03, 2018, 01:34:28 PM
Have lost so much money on coins that doesn't work well for me. My flaws are I'm  impatient and ignorant this maybe a good time to find some insight and good answers on how to get better
Well, what you have experienced must leave a lesson to you that impatience do not bring any good in crypto trading.  Do not feel sorry about yourself.  Everybody learns from their experience.  What matter most is the lesson you learned from it.   Next time, you have to control your emotion.  Think analytically and do not panic.  Trading requires perfect timing to earn.  So, patience is a virtue in trading.
