Strap in...  It's going to be awhile.

Does this mean no dividends for at least 4 more years?

email scott.johnson@sos.mo.gov and let him know your concerns on this issue!
I am starting to think it is a good idea to contact the gov and let them know that they are holding us up from getting the shares that we have paid for.

Look I understand if the shares must be frozen for the next several years rendering no chance of selling them.

However, the dividend must be paid.

Ken, the investigation could last 4 years, this means no trading for 4 years. However you must pay the dividend.

Think about it; if you essentially pay nothing back to us for the next 4 years, do you really think we are just going to sit around and let you keep the dividends?

Ken, you can't not pay your investors a cent for the next 4 years.

You do understand that dividends only come after profit right?

There's no profit currently at all, just cashflow that's recovering current expenses (Which is a start and a good thing as there was none of this previously)

Since we have no financial documents we'd have no idea on just how much debt needs to be paid til we are "profiting". Currently you can be almost 100% sure that he is taking the BTC mined and using it to buy more chips/boards to build a bigger mine.

Will this approach work? Maybe or maybe not but one thing is for certain, we do not have a choice in the matter and won't be receiving dividends until Ken feels the mine/card sales 25% "reinvestment" is enough to cover future purchases/expenses.

I'm going to sign the new contract.
300 plus bonus will in all likelihood be better than 300 no bonus.

I'm looking at the bond list and your BTC address 1MQLfiKA5A6goEiSwMdVyVvFw4YgCj489V shows 159 bonds (x3 due to the split) so 53 Bonds originally. It makes sense for you that signing this new contract is probably easier than fighting for a proper non arbitrary contract would.

How many of the larger bond holders would like to see a more concrete contract put in place?

My BTC address is 1FscNBYzd5CqDzUVQ9YapLQNtLbswkM4NL

http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1FscNBYzd5CqDzUVQ9YapLQNtLbswkM4NL

I have 5007 shares (1669 before split)

Looking at the bond list,
There are a total of 365 Individual Shareholders in the list (If you take out the ones that have 0 shares and assume that no one is using multiple addresses)

Top 10 Shareholders - 2.74% of Total Shareholders
own ~40% of all of the bonds

Top 15 Shareholders  - 4.11% of Total Shareholders
own ~48% of all of the bonds

Top 20 Shareholders  - 5.48% of Total Shareholders
own ~54% of all of the bonds

If forced to use KYC I am obliged by due diligence to make official inquiries to FINCEN, SEC and other bodies as to your status, compliance, and record with them.

I imagine you will have to use http://www.sfc.hk/web/EN/index.html as they are located in Hong Kong Smiley

These are used hashfast baby jet boards that have known problems. one of which is a broken temperature sensor and a firmware problem.

If you go onto the hashfast baby jet users thread - they may be able to help you but ut would seem you have a dead on arrival card. File a warranty claim ASAP - you only have 10 days to do this.

Also it would not surprise me if bargraphics was the previous owner of this card as he has approached ken in the past to sell him his used mining equipment.

You have some serious issues man but we'll work past those.

My boards are still mining on my account and I've had no issues with them. Anytime you saw them go down it was due to a power outage or I was fiddling with the cards.

I haven't spent too much time with them really pushing for the best settings as I've been away. (Each card is fairly unique in what clock speed it hashes best at)

I don't believe I've ever approached Ken in the past to sell him my used mining equipment. These are also not "used" baby jet boards from Hashfast.

In the unlikely case you do get a grip on reality, please refrain from posting in this thread as it will simply be deleted.
185  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: April 30, 2014, 08:13:20 PM
Unfortunately I'm going to have to agree that the contract is way too arbitrary.

Regardless of if there's trust or not (and I do trust Zach) I would not sign a contract like that. There needs to be hard figures in there that somehow legally reflect what the intention of the original contract were.

The original contract said in no uncertain terms that our hashrate would grow proportional to the amount of "bonds" in circulation compared to the amount of hashrate LRM had from equipment purchased by the selling of additional bonds or by reinvestment. There was definitely a "minimum hashrate of 100MH" given but I can't see how that reflects a maximum which is trying to be portrayed currently.

Shareholders have also agreed to do a one time "2 Weeks of Mining on New Equipment" that seems to have been made permanent. It seems as this is a "Do or Die" situation that the company is in. Somehow the 25% isn't enough (Since there's no transparency on the accounting side we cannot be shown this to be true or false) I'd personally vote for this to be removed as the original contract did not include this.

I will say that I've personally met Zach and worked along side him putting up some of his mining equipment. He is a smart, hardworking, trustworthy guy but I'm not convinced that this contract is the best fit.

Hey just got back from being out of town since last Monday,

I had Zombie errors too with my boards, I think it might be related to the board not getting enough power but cannot confirm because my issue kind of disappeared by itself, now I only get Zombie if one of the PSUs are not on.

To troubleshoot the boards only connect one at a time and see if they load up.

I just under clocked them again at 500 . Both my working boards are giving approx 600GH/s on cgminer .
My other 2 boards still don't seem to work .

I'll reconnect them again tomorrow after rechecking the power wiring again .

On CgMiner , It also said something '' Thermal overload tripped ! '' .
It sometimes accepts a share or two , then again goes to ''Zombie'' .

The temperature never rises on the Zombie Board , it remains at 17C then goes to Zombie .

Never ran into that,

Maybe the water cooler isn't correct set or it could even be too tight which is known to cause issue.

The only thing I can recommend is to right click on the USB in your Device Manager and click Uninstall. Make sure to check Uninstall Driver when that pops up

Then try to run Zadig.
189  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: VMC Fast-Hash One Prospector 512GH/s 0.7w/GH - Setup Guide [Self Moderated] on: April 17, 2014, 09:47:48 AM
When you do this the Combo Drive does not show up in Zadig. In fact when using the default driver the device shows up as a "GO! Suite USB Device" CD drive. It's only after using Zadig that the system sees it as a USB device. (I am on Win 7)

What exact version of CGminer are you using and what are the command line options you start it with? I just want to duplicate your setup precisely.

I also have Ubuntu Linux with CGminer compiled and I'm unable to get that CG miner to address these devices as well. (Despite the fact that it sees block erupters and a Jalapeno without issue)

I'm very confused about this "Combo Drive" and "Go!Suite USB Device"

When I plug in the units currently they show up as M1 Module. CGMiner 4.2.3 in Linux picks them up without any need for a "WinUSB". CGMiner 4.2.3 in Windows needs the WinUSB driver to pick them up.

This is what Zadig looks like when I fully uninstalled the software on the M1 Modules and then try to install WinUSB

In Computer Management this is what it shows

If you figure out your issue let me know so I can add it to the guide.

Thanks!

....

That is odd, usually this means that you must have installed a previous driver for something that is picking up these VMC Boards.

I'm using Windows 7
This may or may not work but go to start and type devmgmt.msc

Go down to the USBs and find which ones are your VMC Boards (replug them in and watch which USBs come up or not since you are saying it's being recognized by various names)

Once you are sure you found the USB for the VMC Board right click and uninstall.

Once it is uninstalled try to use Zadig again to install WinUSB.

Unfortunately I've never gone through your experience and when I plugged in the boards and installed WinUSB CGMiner picked them right up :/

Hope this helps, let me know if it does.
191  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: VMC Fast-Hash One Prospector 512GH/s 0.7w/GH - Setup Guide [Self Moderated] on: April 14, 2014, 06:32:45 PM
Download the Latest CGMiner - http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/

Install WinUSB if needed - http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/zadig/

Start it up and it should run!

Heya, Ken I'm stuck at this part. CGminer doesn't see the devices on Windows or Linux, just a CD emulation device. I've run WinUSB but it doesn't detect the device automatically and when I force select the device none of the 3 drivers provided causes CGminer to see these devices.

What command line options did you use to start CGminer? And how did you get it to see the devices?

I've got the linux version of CGminer compiled with HashFast support specifically but it still doesn't see the device. It does run Block Erupters and a BFL Jalapeno just fine though.

Reddit told me to find a guy called Bargraphics but I can't seem to find him on IRC right now and you're not responding to our phone calls requsting tech support.

We've got 10s of thousands of dollars of hardware here sitting idle waiting on the VMC compiled CGminer we were promised.

Regards
-Kode

When you open the zadig to install WinUSB it should come up automatically with the HashFast units.

Try plugging just one in to a different USB port (Maybe the port you are using is dead?)

Regardless once you plug in the HashFast Unit and if that unit is powered on it will show up in Zadig, then you just click the button to install WinUSB on it.

Once you installed WinUSB and you open Zadig it won't show anything if you open it up again.

Download latest CGMiner and just use the following to start it

Code:
cgminer.exe -o pooladdress -u username -p password -o backuppooladdress -u username -p password --hfa-hash-clock 720 --hfa-fail-drop 5 --hfa-fan 100 --usb HFA:1,BAS:0,BF1:0,ICA:0
pause

That should be your batch file.

Change --usb HFA:1,BAS:0,BF1:0,ICA:0 "HFA:1" to however many units you have. I limit mine to one because I like to configure each one separately.

Of course Sporket (Aka Crumbs) comes on here trying to promote some agenda against me.

Actions speak louder than trolls and in this case I agree with ||bit regarding a lot of the "Bitcoin Securities" turn out to not be all that we have hoped, I have a large farm myself (Should be up to ~130TH by the end of this weekend).

Since I'm not afraid to show my face in public like some of us, I use that to go and meet with people and businesses to do due diligence and to lend a helping hand as I'm fairly well connected to people that matter unlike crumbs and MP.

Regardless of the above there are two types of people on this forum. Those that troll and believe trolls, and those that get off their chair and do work.

Has anyone else apart from bargraphics got their prospector card yet?

On Eligius freenode there was someone that said they received theirs and posted their address running.

I believe Vince posted this address somewhere on the forums.
194  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 30GH Chili Miners on: April 10, 2014, 02:05:14 PM
Lowering to $85/Chili but removing the package deal - You can purchase the PSUs and Hubs separately.
195  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: April 10, 2014, 01:57:14 AM
I call bullshit.  I get not being able to answer how and what to do. . . there is no reason what the problem is and who may or may not be initiating action can not be said prior to how the problem is solved and what will be done about it.

Not entirely clear on how to read your sentence, but if I'll try to answer.

I do not know what the issue is with LRM,

I also don't know why nothing can be said although in any business it is usually wise to wait until your lawyer gives you the go ahead to say anything if that's what their opinion is.
196  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: April 09, 2014, 10:41:17 PM
Alright, over a month now; does anyone still believe that the lawyer, who allegedly works on a new contract really exists?

He exists, I've personally met him.

We need to visit LRM mine.

To see if hardware is real, to see if all this history is real.

We haven't any proof that 17 TH/s isn't just some Th/s bought at cex.io with our money...

Pretty sure Bargraphics visited the data centre I may be mis-remembering but I am like 85% sure.

I did visit him and I saw all of the gear for the 25TH mining away. This is the same trip where I met his lawyer as well.

No I do not have any idea on why this is taking so long, but it is strictly out of Lab Rats hands at the moment. It would most likely cause a bigger delay to try and go with a different lawyer since this one knows all of the workings of Lab Rat Mining as he's been part of it since Day 1 from my understanding.

Try to focus on the real issues, not the make believe ones.

The real issue is there's no communication and lack of transparency. Those won't be resolved until the Lawyer is done. A vicious circle it seems.
197  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 30GH Chili Miners on: April 09, 2014, 02:24:31 PM
It's not the hashrate, it's that these things use a lot of power for the speed that they run at.

I understand, however there are people who get free electricity (built into their rent or however they do it) and they could easily run 1-6 of these and just earn coin.

How about 75 for a chili ?

I would do your "buy 6 offer" at that price.

Sorry Sad The Deal includes the PSUs and Hub. The PSUs are easily sold for $50/each and the Hub is maybe $15/20.

$100/each including the above is Plug and Play and I believe is a pretty good price.

can you do cheap eu posatge? im after 4-5

I can sell to the EU but payment HAS to be in Bitcoins as even in the US PayPal/Credit Cards are risky. I won't know the price until I package them up but I don't expect it will be too much. Can you give me an Address via PM and I'll try to get you an estimate.

198  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 30GH Chili Miners on: April 08, 2014, 11:00:50 PM
What if I offered you $60 for a chili?

No thanks,

The price reflects shipping within 24 hours. Also most of the chilis I'm selling are 32-35GH but I don't want to falsely advertise so I put 30GH+

If you were to redo the heatsink with a better thermal solution you could probably almost get 40GH out of them.
199  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 08, 2014, 03:50:13 PM
Hi Ken,

What's the deal with the hashrate drop over the past day?

To hot in the datacenter.  100+

could not handle 19kW of power? how small is your data center?  (I was running 4kW in a 1bdrm apartment with 2 windows half-open and it was comfortable temperatures (noisy of course))

what happens to the other 40TH of equipment that is in this 'phase'? and the 140TH more after that?

They are ramping up. Give them a little break. All datacenters go through this process.

Everyone instantly comes on here to post a complaint when they see the hashrate go down, it's going to fluctuate until things get settled.

...don't require a long guide on how to set  them up.

Sad

Guess I could have just said to plug it into a psu, put the cooler on, plug in the usb and hash.

Short enough guide for you Tongue
