How much pps are you paying for? It would be interesting if you could post some status update about your investment and how it is going with the new payout system. Thank.

I would like to give you guys an update on how my experience has been so far with Host for Bit.

Thursday night I purchased  10k pps I believe for 0.20 btc. My shares are still coming in thanks to the awesomeness of Host for Bits! I have received +10 hours so far of extra time. During the 34 hours my miners has been running I have racked in about 4.5 XPM. at current exchange rate 0.04 btc.  I currently average about 1/ 400th of the shares of ypool with a payout of 0.025 on average per block. My investment currently has not paid of but I am pleased with helping Host for Bit, Prime coin, Bitcoin, and the workers on ypool. It could possibly pay itself off of we give it another 72 hours. I am please with this service and content with my investment. If anyone has any questions about my experience with either Host for Bits or Ypool, I would be happy to answer your questions.

Note: I wrote this on a Droid.

I just came back from vacation and sadly my miner is 8 days behind Sad. I downloaded hp7 but I can not connect to the network. Any help?

I have restarted windows and the client. Also tried to add a couple of nodes but that does not seem to be working.

I had this problem too, it seemed to come and go away by itself. It was happening while I restarting the client a lot while testing different sievesizes. Adding many nodes did not help. Have you tried just leaving it running for an hour so until it can find some connections, that's what I ended up doing?

Another entirely plausible possibility is that windows firewall is blocking it. You need to allow it for each different version you run because the file you are executing is probably in a different folder for each version, so windows firewall considers it new/unknown. Windows firewall on the first run will ask if you want to unblock or keep blocking. Its possible you either clicked the wrong button, or your firewall did not notify you, or you have some other software firewall that is blocking it.
Just did that and it worked. Thanks

Does anyone know if there is a prime coin command to see just your immature balance or immature transactions?
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin High Performance on: July 14, 2013, 04:49:05 AM
How would you start the linux primecoin miner?

cat primestart.sh
Code:
#!/bin/bash

PRIMECOIND=/usr/local/bin/primecoind
DATADIR=$HOME/.primecoin

nice ${PRIMECOIND} -datadir=$DATADIR -rescan -maxconnections=8 \
        -rpcuser=primecoinuser -rpcpassword=TopSecretNotWhatIreallyUse \
        -gen=1 -daemon -rpcport=9912

Then to send it commands/queries,

cat primcoind.sh
Code:
#!/bin/bash

PRIMECOIND=/usr/local/bin/primecoind
DATADIR=$HOME/.primecoin

if [ "$1" == "" ]; then
  echo "Syntax: primecoind.sh COMMAND"
  exit
fi

$PRIMECOIND -datadir=$DATADIR \
        -rpcuser=primecoinuser -rpcpassword=TopSecretNotWhatIreallyUse -rpcport=9912 "$@"

NOTE: I do not use config files, if I want to add -addnode or whatever, I add it to my coinstart.sh script.

That means the wallet is the only damn thing in datadir i care about, not having to remember to also copy/save/backup a config file.

(And the wallet can be backed up using ./primecoind.sh backupwallet ~/primecoinwallet-dd-mm.yyyy.sav or whatever so nothing really in datadir at all that I need care about.)

Thanks How would I set a command to watch mining info and latest transactions?

Please download updated clients, these are using the official code base versus the "optimized" code on my branch which may be causing problems.

These replace my releases 5 and 8 respectively. Let me know if there are any other releases you were using.

Anyone know of an optimized linux build? I think mine is broken Sad

Just build it yourself. Building on linux is seriously like 4-5 lines.

ehh I am an absolute noob with linux and I am using a headless linux so yeah. Would you mind uploading your client to github if it is optimized with his primespersec changes?
