Agree. I strongly believe in a year of bigger growth in alts. Therefore there is only a limited share of Bitcoin in my portfolio.

I don't know what the future will bring. Maybe another x10 of Bitcoin. I think there is no reliable way to predict the 2018 market. My feeling says: ALTs - therefore I go for it. Better a bad and straight decision taken as spending the whole time between alts and btc.

The way up of WAVE will last at least two years. The project is great - but it might grow to slow and will be overtaken by others.

I don't beliver in Verge. Pushed and too many deadlines missed.

Ripple is not an option for a big share of the market, due to the structure.

So ETH on 3rd will be first choice to invest. I think that it will be ahead of 2000 mid of Feb.

I think prerequisite is a steady growth of Bitcoin that makes money flow into the market. But from current point of view, everythink is in line.

Ok, agree with VIBE. Did you hear about the commercial during superbowl from Monster where someone wearing a vibe shirt (https://vibehub.io/) clearly visible. Also in this scene Joe Perry from Aerosmith - What a combination. This would be a real pusher for this project and technial background is great.

After every dip, bitcoin came back stronger.

Before Christmas we had a drop from 20.000 > 12.000 and I think latest end of January we will be above againn.

This market seems to be almost safe from my point of view.

Doge will alway be alive. Huge community. And someone mentioned the year of the dog 2018 in China. Which such a crazy crypto market this could be enough to let Doge explode.

But I like it better to invest on solid projects and roadmaps than hoping for crazy Chinese people investing :-)

I started buying crypto on 23th December 2017 again - after a long period of waiting and hesitating.

I had my first bitcoin (5) in 2013 then got scared during the crash, sold and not thought about getting in again.

Now after a lot of researching, I took the decision to step back again into crypto. In my opinion there is a once in a life time chance to gain decent profit with a low invest.

Below is my final portfolio, which I'd like to hodl till end of 2018.

The focus is on growth chances. Apart from BTC and ETH all coins have medium or (really) small market caps.

All picks have been choosen on threads in this forum and on basis of an early portfolio review here - thanks to all members for sharing your views. On top of that I've researched a lot on this projects and I'm sure that every project has a bright and shiny future.

Fully agree with 1 - 3. I Invested early in PRL and ELIX. Both have a lot of potential to grow.

Substratum is solid - but in terms of market cap in the middle of nowhere. Too high for bigh growth and too low for stability. But might be an option.

I would hodl for at least half a year more the coins in the way you are already holding them. Think you are on the road to become a crypto millionaire.

What I would recommend is putting some money in low market cap coins to have chances to 10x - 100x. You will get the right ideas closely listening this forum.

Yes, if this happens, you have to be in as early as possible.

But this will also the best possible case for all cryptos. Hoping for such a development.

Difficult what currently happens in the market. I basically expect the continuation of the rise, we experienced since mid of 2017. There was only a break, due to cash outs in December.

I think ripple was pumped at the right time and attracted a lot of other people to follow. But I'm also sure that the time of Bitcoin will come again.

I agree. Marketing only is not enough.

But in current market circumstances, marketing in combination with marketing and a solid team of developers this can be the pusher to a massive gain in market cap.

In my opinion this coin will moon from mid of January onwards.

Ether - well known,  high markt cap - chance of gains, but only smaller ones 2-3

Elixir - still low market cap and the chance for bigger gains, but also more risk

Unfortunately XRP. With huge support from bank world, I think it will be close Bitcoin end of 2018.

Wow! That will raise the right attention to this project. I have not heart about a crypto / blockchain project being mentioned in the SuperBowl ever before. This is impressive.

Holding both and jumped in around X-Mas to low prices.

Oyster is mooning right now. A small dip might come before moon again.

Elixir is really stable now. Pumped to 1.3 and is now stable around 1 USD and will not get lower anymore.
