181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risky move ? on: April 03, 2018, 10:43:46 PM
Not know why but i did sell all my alts today. And bought Tron TRX for them all. Now i hold a nice amount of TRX  Grin

MC is down to 280b today and the market not going anywhere soon. So i decided to buy the hype around TRX and move all my $ to this coin. Know this can be risky but if the price go up just a few cents i will make a nice profit.

I am never sure enough to put everything into just the one coin as things can go wrong no matter how much it seems as though there is no way but up.

I have recently cut a lot of alts out and concentrated more on my top ten so I am getting closer but I just could not put everything into one as I know for sure the ones I dumped would be the ones to go up and I would hate myself, it has happened before which has taught me to never put all my eggs in one basket, good luck to you though.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat? on: April 03, 2018, 02:07:53 PM
If cryptocurrencies will be the basic mode of exchange in the future, what will happen to the banks then?
The banks will need to adapt and change their working to adopt crypto, I think they really should be doing this now, the early birds will catch the worm.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternative investments on: April 03, 2018, 02:05:57 PM
Apart from bitcoin there are the obvious alt coins which are a good investment, maybe some preciou metals also, silver or silver coins can be worthwhile.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan plans to become the Bitcoin capital of the world. on: April 03, 2018, 12:52:15 PM
Japan are smart to grab the bull by the horns and take the lead, those that get there first will lay the foundation and make it that much easier for others to follow.
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: end of March 2018 became a bitcoin rest place. on: March 31, 2018, 01:05:31 PM
BTC and ETH are just too different to be able to say ETH will take over, ETH may be at the forefront of what they do but it cannot replace BTC they are just too different, I think now is a great time to pick up some ETH, BTC I think will go a bit lower maybe down as far as $4k.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The sky is falling, what is everyone doing... on: March 31, 2018, 12:16:39 PM
It is like a car boot sale right now, could be the only time we will be able to buy ltc, eth and btc at these prices although I think we might see btc go down another couple of grand before it goes back up, who knows.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumor in April Fools' Day on: March 31, 2018, 12:13:05 PM
Does anyone think of that in April Fools' Day, we have so much rumor in social network and newspaper about btc or crypto to raise prices and get started bull run market. Or we have many FUD to push prices down. In my opinion, we have some good news (there are also fake and real) to make the market grow again
No doubt we  will see some kind of story like DOGE getting added to Coinbase or some totally random news.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An altcoin idea that I will propably never go through with on: March 31, 2018, 12:10:24 PM
Brave is a pretty cool browser and feels very much like Chrome and they are adding a lot of extensions, BAT and Brave together could really work well in the future as we see all these privacy issues come to light.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google Bans All Cryptocurrency Ads, Will It Will Lead to Their Downfall? on: March 31, 2018, 12:06:03 PM
I don't think this will have much of an imapct on legitimate projects as they will gain exposure through other means, I think this will have a huge impact on the flyby ICOs that just want to raise as much as possible with very little in the pipeline.

Maybe it is just a phase where everyone wants to ban crypto, once crypto gets to a peak level of awareness Google and it's pals will have no choice but to change their thinking or possibly face falling behind the space.

Funny because I still see these fiat trading company ads which are obvious scams advertised all over the place.
190  Economy / Economics / Re: Earnings without risks for beginners on: March 31, 2018, 11:53:57 AM
I have noticed that airdrops are asking for a lot of information now, fb, twitter, email and in some cases actual id documents, people need to be very careful when handing over information to unproven projects.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: March 27, 2018, 10:28:14 PM
Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?
Good question, there was a bug with one of my coins in Blockfolio and when I checked one of my coins had 1300% I had a shock and looked into the reason behind this to see if it was legit and then found out there was a bug with Etherdelta.

If it were real I would have definitely sold around 50% to make some profit, especially if it went up to a % that high.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum? on: March 27, 2018, 09:33:45 PM
Bitcoin and Ethereum are two of the most popular digital coins today. In terms of value, bitcoin is much larger than ethereum, but in terms of potential, ethereum is quite capable of dealing with bitcoin. So you think which one is better?
I don't think we can really say one or the other is better as they are both quite different in what they offer and what can be built using them, ETH has a wider scope and offers up more than bitcoin, both have their alternatives also, I think both ETH and BTC will be the dominant ones for the time being until a killer coin comes along and has a one size fits all approach.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MONKEY PROJECT [X11] [POW/POS] [LOW PREMINE] [365% - 730% - 1850% ROI] on: March 26, 2018, 04:38:58 PM
I'm stuck on syncing, stuck on block 60738 is there any kind of bootstrap to make this quicker ?

Edit
Lack of patience on my part, all done now.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Forbes' First List Of Cryptocurrency's Richest: on: March 26, 2018, 08:20:34 AM
Nice to see crypto in Forbes and Binance has really done well since it launched which wasn't too long ago, let's just hope that it doesn't go sour, obviously it will be a target for those that want to do harm but I hope to see Binance around in 5 years time, it is still a relatively new exchange compared to some of the other such as Bittrex and Poloniex.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl or sell my bitcoins and buy again when it’s gone down even more on: March 25, 2018, 05:57:19 PM
That is the game, do you sell now and hopefully get a lower price to buy back in or by selling now will it start to increase after you have sold.

You could take some out if you are dependant on your 1 btc financially, you could also look at the altcoin markets but seeing how concerned you are with bitcoin it might not be the best move as alts are far more volatile than bitcoin.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It To Late For Me To Buying Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2018, 05:50:17 PM
If you are asking the question should I invest in bitcoin then you probably should if you have the funds, there isn't anything worse then missing out on something, even if it is a small amount just go for it, this price is a decent enough entry point.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 5 coins under a $0.50 on: March 25, 2018, 12:44:56 PM
what do you guys like that's under 50 cents
There are loads, DIME, TIPS, is 1 sat and could surprise everyone this year.
RCC - Reality Clash
COVAL - Circuits of Value

There are so many right now, filter by price on Coinmarketcap and you will see.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bad are ICOs this year? on: March 25, 2018, 12:39:39 PM
There was a load of ICOs towards the end of last year with many launching this quarter, it is no surprise that the majority of them did not succeed.

With any investment it is a risk but because of the ease at which an ICO can be setup tjey will be prone to a lot of scams so we all should be super vigilant and make sure if something doesn't seem right we let the community know.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH dead as ICO cools down on: March 24, 2018, 09:11:46 AM
As ICO cools down and a lot of projects are even dumping at lower prices than ICO, is there any hope for ETH prices to shoot again? Also there are some news that ICO projects are cashing out the large amount of ETH recently which even give ETH a more harder hit than other coins.
ETH was on fire with all the ICO projects using their platform, there are other alternatives to ETH which only a hand full have used, I don't think ETH is finished by any means and they do have other things going on outside of being the go to platform for releasing an ICO.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many types of Altcoin are there? on: March 23, 2018, 09:15:11 AM
Now that there is a lot of Altcoin in the market, do you know how many types it has?
You can have a look at https://coinmarketcap.com/ to see how many they are listing right now, this is not an exhaustive list however as Coinmarket cap does not list every single coin but a good majority of them will be listed here along with various links to social and forum platforms.
