Solutions to make it easier to use Bitcoins securely when donating.
When you click a URI the client opens and you will probably need to write in your password to confirm the donation. If you have a secure 2 part verification password this becomes tiresome. You might even avoid donating because you do not care to unlock the client.
What if you instead could save the donation and sign it and several other donations later when you really need to login.
As you click a URI to donate you are presented with the choice.
"Store transaction and verify it later or login and verify it now."
This will make it easier to keep using a secure 2 step passwords process. This could also be useful for Armory with Bitcoins kept in cold storage.

Can a girl be on both sites at the same time? That would make a transition easier.
Also if it is very anonymous like you say, you should advertise that as a advantage.

Money is just a tool/invention to make it easier to trade services and stuff. Instead of having to carry your stuff around, you sell it and carry the money around, money is easier to divide.
Lets say you have a car and you dont need it. You need food for several days, a bicykle, different kind of clothes. Now with money you sell your car and can than go and get the other things when you need them.
No need to trade the car into 5 bicykles, trade one of the bicykles into books (you dont need) than trade the books into some clothes which does not really fit.
If you think money in itself is the problem you donīt get what money is. Money is just a thing like a book. But the book only have value to the person who wants to read it. You are making it harder on you if you try to find the person who does and can give you clothes for it.
Its just easier to trade with the things we call money since we can agree on the value everyone has use for them for anything.
Sure you can live currency free but why make your life difficult...

So, teach people why it could be of value for them.

I had organized the clients into a similar table a few months ago, with something simple designed for the first-time user. http://lovebitcoins.org/getStarted.htmlI wanted to put more emphasis on the mobile clients, because this is much easier and faster for a first-time user to get up and running. This is especially true whenever I meet someone in person, since they always have their phone, but they never have a computer. If the newbie likes what they see in the mobile, they can always become more of a power user. +1 Only problem with this, is that they are not as secure. That should be fine if it could be pointed out in a way that doesnīt sound to intimidating.

I'm totally into doing this for CoinDL. I've just done a little survey of mobile apps and it appears almost all have Bitcoin URI support. So expect the QR code to be updated and a link as well.
Thanks etotheipi for the initiative and for highlighting an opportunity to again move toward the goal of making Bitcoin easy!
Great one problem with using your site from a mobile is that the QR code, does not center on the screen and becomes very tiny.

The ask me about Bitcoin is way to much.
He should not wear that.
The other one is much cooler but maybe just a tiny bit too discreet to catch any attention? But still better.
Any ideas for a text or an image?

Collecting Bitcoins,
Buying:
The Bitcoin magazine, Casascius coins, got to love em. The great music by Alco from coindl. You should get it and support the first great music group that prereleased their album in Bitcoins.
Also donating and paying friends for lunch etc.
I will also be buying software as soon as possible.

I also think its a good idea and for a year I have been thinking about making a Bitcoin timeline as part of another Bitcoin project.
Now that one is nearing its completion. I will try to get some time to start working on a Bitcoin timeline after that.

Great!
I agree with comments. Dont call it graphical user interface. It has to be a text for everyone.
I like Luke JR suggestion but it should be on another page such as "comparison table" or something and needs some explainations. The installer time 2hours, should maybe be called something else.
Sound like it takes 2 hours to install.
I also think the official clients should have a mark such as
Bitcoin QT "official client"
There must be Android and Iphone clients such as Bitcoin spinner and others. I see them as cruzial to get Bitcoin popular. People allways carry their phones and they are super easy to use.

There is no way of knowing how much USD 1 Bitcoin is "worth" at the moment. It is it's own currency, so there is no fixed value of USD <--> BTC that you could apply and everything else would just mean querying a centralized database/source.
If you need something like this, maybe take a look at BitPay.
Yes, and is there a good reason to not do so? I know that Bitcoinspinner does this, but only on the homepage but not on the sendpage. I can see the value of my total coins on that page. So it should be possible. But when I need to send a value of X in a currency I need to bring my calculator.

Often, they can only be used in one kind of stores... Whats worse, they often have a limited time span. So if you dont use them in two years they are worthless. I donīt understand how that kind of fraud can be legal...Atleast in the country I live.
But still I think Bitcoin can be presented as a much better kind of giftcard, that can go up in value over time and do not have an end date.

Something basic thats really missing.
When sending funds, you can only select how many Bitcoins.
I often find myself wanting to send Bitcoins of a certain amount of value.
Example a value of $23 but in another currency.
Its a very annoying and slow process, I have to find the value of Bitcoin in USD, calculate the value over to my currency and than calculate the amount of Bitcoins to send.
If you could just select.
Send Bitcoins A with a total value of X in currency y. B N number of Bitcoins.
I added this suggestion to the Bitcoin spinner client, and as Technomage pointed out this is badly needed in most clients and in the bitcoin world so I hope this bring this to the attention of all clients.

Just one thing thats really missing.
When sending funds, you can only select how many Bitcoins.
I often find myself wanting to send Bitcoins of a certain amount of value.
But this is very difficult, I have to exit the app and calculate the value and than enter the amount of Bitcoins to send.
If I could just select.
Send Bitcoins A with a total value of X in currency y. B N number of Bitcoins.
This would be a huge improvement since now I could go to a shop ask them to accept Bitcoins. And easily select to send the correct amount at once.

Is the Bitcoins gone? Get another good charity onboard and I will donate a coin. But I thought there were plenty of coins to be donated and the problem was to get charities on board.
Ofcourse if you use Bitcoin, you really should join the Bitcoin 100. Its one of the best things to happen with it.
