181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Halving of BTC affect other Altcoins? on: June 30, 2016, 06:25:54 AM
I remember the last halving coins having no business being around (like most now) were all green. My first alt was zeta coin and it went 7x around then....

Now I would think that they hedge against eachother. Alts down when Bitcoin up, and vise versa.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China to make Bitcoin (virtual properties) a civil right. on: June 30, 2016, 06:22:36 AM
Maybe part of the reason they are devaluing their currency in an attempt to put a greater weight onto Bitcoin as a national barter system.
183  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Question -- Why are people buying member accounts? on: June 30, 2016, 06:19:27 AM
What is the use of buying member accounts when you can create one for free?

And how much would mine go for? I'm just curious

How are you legendary and not know the answers to these questions.

Seems a little odd, did you buy or steal the account your using?  Roll Eyes

No longer the "blockchain architect" but still sits on the board of advisors

You really are blind. Keep pumping this crapcoin.

You know the arrow pointing on the board members works to scroll to more members...

https://thedao.slack.com/app (Some of the ether devs hang in here too)

https://slack.bitcoincore.org

I also hang out in the EXP, blocknet, and XSt slacks. EXP being the most active by far. Must of been mistaken on a bitfinex and polo slack channel. But most these communities are active traders.

A lot of traders also hang out on Telegram chat.  Here are the links to ones I know about

BlockFolio https://telegram.me/joinchat/C_VyZj4fwvsmQCtLytqAGg

Thanks I'll have to check these out. Been looking to expand my views and reading a bit.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China to make Bitcoin (virtual properties) a civil right. on: June 29, 2016, 10:31:28 AM
I think that, given most of the daily BTC transaction volume happens in China, they consider Bitcoin as something over which they have a sort of "ownership". Bitcoin is a global currency/store of value and IMO through it they think they can play an even more important role in the future international economy, so they have to make it bigger and bigger.

The Chinese government has to use two currencies, one for mainland China, and the other for trades abroad. Making Bitcoin bigger could save them from the need for that complex system. They could allow trades through Bitcoin for trading abroad.

Great point, store of value transferred at near to instant speed. Always thought the good ol USA would be the ones to put Bitcoin in the woods view. But with all the regulation I have changed my outlook.

China has the potential to blow the roof off this, along with a major mining stake. They have every incentive to make it a world wide accepted currency.

Interesting rabbit hole Mr. felt.

I feel his demeanor is too.... Cocky? Maybe not the right way to put it, but he seems to me to be full of himself in some of his tweets. Although I just skimmed threw them (could be completely wrong as I didn't read all the back and forth).

Love the investigation though!
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China to make Bitcoin (virtual properties) a civil right. on: June 29, 2016, 10:12:35 AM
Awesome news, glad to see this. Getting tired of all the back and forth rumors from China and Russia on is it or isn't it going to be banned. Should show up in the price soon. Smiley
190  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YoBit.net is a SCAM!!!! They have stolen my money!!! on: June 29, 2016, 09:59:52 AM
Didn't they buy up like 10%+ of waves and start the first "futures" market for it? Could of been another coin...

Been saying for along time to stay away from Yobit. Bad reputation, also said it about cryptsy since late 2013.

1 THING:  DONT RUSH THEM.

Whatever happens, dont rush the devs. They are working hard and they dont need pressure on their heads.

If you rush them, they might fuck it up, and we dont want that to happen.

Or do we?! Wink cheap coins.

I'm kidding. I just thought that with all the press in the BTC space of its implementation going live, we would actualy see it working and cleaning up he pool. That's all, just disappointing it's not ganna work out that way right now.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RibbitRewards - World's first blockchain rewards program [Airdrop is now!] on: June 29, 2016, 04:12:33 AM
Most the info I have came straight from Franko in the EXP slack channel. Since RBR doesn't have one set up for the public to join.

Oh yes loyyal is lie to us.

The 20 people who are now in the loyyal team that joined in the last weeks/month like a few guys from the wall street or the CEO of Mastercard or the President and CEO at Boloro Global Limited are all in the team because they are lie to us, lol.

http://loyyal.com/team.html

I think this whole thing is a little bit bigger then you can imagine, look at the companys that joined loyyal, or now at the Dubai Points project (dubai is the 4th largest tourist city in the world).

btw. they are switching Ribbitrewards now to loyyal.

From the looks of it they've already switched the name. Then, they'll create a new blockchain exclusive for Loyyal and abandon the original RBR coin.

Eventualy there will be a coin swap to loyyal per Franko

Franko is not even part of this scam coin.

Uhhh he's the "cheif blockchain architect"....

Let's call this what it is, a sad attempt to FUD the price down.

Wow all the hype and it's not going to help clean up the mem pool right away, I'm I getting that right?

Show me proof of switch or new platform. Im thinking they have nothing because nothing is show. Team looks of a bunch of people selling something but with only three developers. Who builds new platform? No proof of new platform. Only proof of salesmen.

6 months back or so I was able to get on the marketplace website. I'm sure it not ment to be seen cuz they were testing it, but I did see test products listed for RBR.

200  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: June 28, 2016, 09:59:02 AM
Recently (about a month ago) lost 16 BTC.

Most likely a phishing scam that I clicked on. My fault for not being more cautions. Dumped all my alts on bittrex and then transferred out the BTC. Made out with 9.8 BTC but if he slow sold those alts he could of easily got 15-17 BTC.

Only hurts cuz BTC went up so fast and I didn't have time to get back in.
