181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is owning bitcoin a crime? on: April 23, 2018, 06:02:33 AM
It is not. But if you use it for illegal activities,  it can be.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It To Late For Me To Buying Bitcoin? on: April 22, 2018, 11:42:48 PM
I suggest you buy now because these past few months,  bitcoin's price get down. If you buy now,  there's a higher percentage on selling it on a higher price
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing to Bitcoin is not that easy on: April 22, 2018, 01:13:41 PM
I agree with you especially the thing that is hard when you are investing on bitcoin is that when you buy it at a high price and the price of it becomes low. You will suffer a lot of loss there.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Green days are coming for bitcoin on: April 22, 2018, 12:37:38 PM
I think so too because these days,  bitcoin's price is proliferating
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really gonna be dead? on: April 22, 2018, 11:38:07 AM
I think noy because a lot of countries are using it as a mode of payment these days.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a better payment system? on: April 22, 2018, 11:20:50 AM
If for illegal activities yes. Because they can't track you if you use bitcoin as a mode in payment.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your bitcoin story? Good or bad on: April 17, 2018, 12:58:30 PM
Good because I bought it at a lower price and sell at a higher price.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning BITCOIN Scam... Be Cautious! on: April 15, 2018, 08:18:21 AM
That's primarily the reason why the government sees the bitcoin as a bad thing. Some people are using it to get advantage on other people that's why they are force to stop that thing.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to mine or buy Bitcoin? on: April 15, 2018, 03:23:31 AM
Mining these days is not that good because what you mine is very nominal. So it is better to bitcoin since it is more profitable. However, the downside of buying bitcoin is when you buy it at a higher price and then the price of it goes too low.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will become more popular on: April 09, 2018, 11:01:15 PM
Yes it will. For the meantime, it is just known in part of some countries. But as time goes by, I will not be surprised that Bitcoin will be used as a medium on exchanging things.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you love Bitcoin? on: April 08, 2018, 12:56:39 PM
As a student, I love bitcoin for the reason that I don't need to get money from my parents anymore. I can independetly finance myself and I'm not a burden to my family anymore.
192  Economy / Economics / What will happen to bitcoin? on: April 07, 2018, 01:26:40 AM
Bitcoin at the present time resembles as a bubble.Once it goes up, it immediately pops out.  It is normal that the price of bitcoin gets down but it's been a long time since it is on its original value or higher than its real value. Those who invest these past few months are suffering a lot of loaaes and they are losing hope that bitcoin will continue to drastically decrease in value.  Do you have guys some advice for me? It will be really appreciated and I will be eternal grateful.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: April 06, 2018, 01:25:56 PM
As a bitcoin holder, one of the things that I fear most of all is that the value that I invested in bitcoin will suffer loss. Especially if the bitcoin's value drastically decrease, it will be very scary for you. Another fear is that the storage that you put your bitcoin might not be safe, and all of your hardworks will be nothing.
194  Local / Pamilihan / Re: BUY/SELL lands and house with BTC in Philippines on: April 06, 2018, 12:29:16 PM
Bitcoin is not that well-knowned in the Philippines as of the moment. It is not even publicized and not shown in the public telivision. However, as time goes by, I believe that they will be using it first as a medium of purchasing items. Then,  bit by bit we don't know,  they might be use to purchase house and lot
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Is it wiser to invest on Bitcoin or on Ethereum? on: April 06, 2018, 02:12:15 AM
The price of the Ethereum these days are more stable than bitcoin. However, bitcoin's value might proliferate since it's been a long time since it's value goes up. What do you think guys is the right thing to do?

197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now - should or not? on: April 05, 2018, 10:24:53 PM
I suggest that you should invest on bitcoin as soon as possible for the reason that bitcoin's value these past few days is low. And when you invest now,  there is less risk and you might earn a good amount of money.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: April 05, 2018, 06:23:53 PM
It can be an asset and a currency at the same time. But the thing that bitcoin's value is getting lower and lower, it xan be a bad investment for an asset.

How to Explain Bitcoin to a 7-Year-Old
Quote
I’ve been explaining how Bitcoins work since 2010. Here is the simplest analogy I’ve discovered that explains transactions, anonymity, and coin production.

There’s a room that anyone can access. The room has security cameras that anyone can view, and every second of recorded footage is available online forever.

The room is filled with indestructible piggy banks made of transparent plastic. Naturally, these piggy banks have coin slots, and everyone can see which coins are in which piggy bank. These piggy banks can never leave the room.

Each person has a key that can open their piggy bank. Let’s say I want to buy a pair of alpaca socks, and you want to sell them.

First, you tell me which piggy bank is yours. Then, I walk into the room with a ski mask on. Anyone in the world can see me on the security cameras, but not my face.

Next, I unlock my piggy bank, take some coins out, then put them into your locked piggy bank. I leave the room.

Now, everyone in the world knows that your piggy bank has coins that were previously in my piggy bank. This is the case with every transaction, so everyone knows the history of every coin.

“So where do the coins come from? How did it start? Who got the first coins?”

There’s a robot in the room that runs lotteries. Every so often, this robot randomly chooses a piggy bank in the room, and puts 50 coins in it. When it first started, there weren’t many piggy banks in the room since nobody knew about it. Back then, it was easy to win the lottery. Today, there are millions of piggy banks in the room, so your odds aren’t very good.

“Ok, couldn’t someone make their own fake coins?”

No, because everyone has records of every coin in the room, and they know when the robot hands new coins out. If a fraud were to put fake coins into his own piggy bank, everyone would know that those coins were never handed out by the robot, and wouldn’t accept them.

“Who made the robot..?”

Supposedly it was a super genius Japanese man named Satoshi Nakamoto, but nobody knows for certain. Since the security camera footage is available from 2009, we can see that the robot was putting coins into a piggy bank since day 1. We assume it’s Satoshi, but that’s about all we know.

“… Crazy.”
