The fact is that doesn't happen. BTC are converted into several currencies and ppl. don't sell all their BTC everyday. There are plenty of people in it for the long term. There are also people the buy things with their BTC.

Not sick of the topic , sick of the deflation thing. Bitcoins won't experience deflation for a LOOOOONNNGG time. There are 21 million BTC to the 8th decimal. That means there can be 2,100,000,000,000,000 units of currency. More than enough. It's probably more than all other currencies combined.

The other crypto-currencies are not as secure as BTC because they don't have the same hashing power. Block chains can't be intermingled. The copy coins can only be traded for BTC but at this moment they are inferior.

Maybe buy some item that someone wants with Paypal then drop ship to their house?

It's a simple fact the BTC is Paypal competitor right now, that's why they have taken this stance. What is Paypal's stance on pre-paid access? I think a MTGOX code would qualify as this if not BTC outright.

I think the best selling point is the fact the BTC is the electronic equivalent of cash. How that is great in a practical way needs to be built upon.
