181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon has gone mad, somebody save him!! on: May 16, 2021, 08:07:20 PM
He just admitted he sold his BTC and to who, to some scammer whale, lol, this guy is lost and has the brain of a kid by his childish actions Smiley

Somebody save him before is too late! He is a helpless clown now. Let's save Elon, he needs help!

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1394014053580910595

What are you reading? He didn't say he sold and definitely didn't say he sold to @cryptowhale. Cryptowhale was joking with a scenario that could happen and Elon went along with the trolling by threating to sell. You are the one fudding in here, either on purpose or by accident. Read it again with the context.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NANO/DOGE Speculation for Bitcoin replacement from TESLA!!! on: May 16, 2021, 08:03:35 PM
Dogecoin as an option wouldn't make any sense. It won't scale any better and has known vulnerabilities. I wouldn't count on nano replacing anything either. If nano would be an option it would be much higher on the marketcap already. If it becomes the currency, then i guess congratz to all holders.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nano why nobody listen me? Told you. I want predictions on: May 16, 2021, 05:37:25 AM
It's seems you have missed my post. I've said clearly if i've bought around $5 and still up 100% or 2x at current NANO price. NANO still much undervalued, but we can't sure it will be pump in short time since Elon has prefer DOGE instead NANO

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5329989.msg56800825#msg56800825

Is he single handledly trying to make PoS out of Doge? Because i thought he was against PoW. Maybe he is trying to influence some devs to to fork it out of proof of work to proof of stake. It's currently only theory i have that makes any sense. If that fork happened, it might be wise to hold doge because they might change the issuance rate and tokenomics as well.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beginning of FUD propaganda war? on: May 16, 2021, 05:29:44 AM
Funny thing is, FUD has been very efective and people started to talk flippening again like it was a new phenomena. If ETH doesn't flip bitcoin in MC this time, there will be very suprised faces how alts will crash so much harder on the next bear market. But i think this is far from over. Wait until btc takes twice of the energy to mine it and some politicians will be pressured to set new carbon taxes for it.
185  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️New coins every week on: May 15, 2021, 02:36:44 PM

A little over 50k!

Wow, that's alot indeed! Assuming each token is 8,000 Sats wagered, that's 4 BTC Shocked

That's only if you lose every bet. So in reality it's far from that.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin will drop 90% more, better cash out to BTC now on: May 13, 2021, 01:58:44 PM
What a joke. Why people keep investing in a meme coin shich is a result of influencer' manipulations. Doge was a good coin but what people are doing will definitely destroy the beatiful of this coin.

You are corrected by saying that doge will be dumped to 90%. There will be a big catastrophe and people will lose their money

I agree with you entirely. Back in the days I've been a fan of this coin myself and even promoted it. But what Elon did to it - made it his own toy, turned it into garbage and destroyed it. It's nothing but a pump and dump coin.

What did Elon do? I didn't see any dogecoin holders complainin when he was tweeting about it. Suddenly he shouldn't have when it's going down, elon tweeting about it has nothing to do with dogecoin FA. People just got hyped like they always do because they don't understand fundamentals and tokenomics. There are literally historical similar smaller spikes if you take a look at the TA... This was just the biggest one yet. Yet it comes down like it has always done in the past.

And of course Max Keiser is promoting Bitcoin, he is a bitcoin maximalist.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Songs about Bitcoin & the world of digital currencies that you have never heard on: May 13, 2021, 01:50:00 PM
You can add Dog money to your list. I thought that was hilarious too.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbI31x3FpS0

Also, pretty much everything goes from lil bubble because he does lot of cool covers, not just Old Town Road:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo8TWz714UppUrxYoTuDMvw

I generally like anything that has irony side with it, cool moon songs can backfire a lot with their cringe element.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Want Tesla To Accept Doge? on: May 13, 2021, 07:31:15 AM
Looking at the recent news they probably won't accept it after all because of proof of work consensus. I am guessing that this is not over and there will be carb taxes for pow coins and stuff like that. It's maybe time to look for the alternatives. Pow was too long under regulators radar and it will grow to be problem for them that they want to tax away.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin staking on: May 12, 2021, 10:15:37 PM
Is it possible to stake Dogecoin?
Where do the newly minted coins go?

No but it's proof of work and you can mine it with your graphics card if you want. Just like litecoin or bitcoin, there are several how to videos all around youtube that are surfacing once again. But i wouldn't recommend mining, save the life cycle of your gfx card for something more useful. It's not really even profitable.
190  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️New coins every week on: May 12, 2021, 10:11:07 PM

If you bet on people being greedy, you will always win there is no doubt about that. That is what betfury did, they have built something that would be more and more valuable depending on how greedy people are and it looks like people are quite greedy and that wasn't a secret, we all know that humanity is way too greedy and betfury capitalized on that.

I believe BFT will get more valuable, obviously over course of some period there will be a moment when greedy people will realize holding their BFG will be more profitable and then a switch will be turned on and that will cause a lot of people to end up stop gambling and start investing and that is when BFG will worth a ton and that is when an exchange listing should happen because people will want to buy instead of earn BFG. No idea when that may happen but I do believe that it will happen for sure.

Yeah, there's no doubt that tokenomics on this are gold. Only thing that bothers me is the end game and what happens when mining stops but i think they have a plan. And if they play their cards right this might end up being most profitable long time casino investment out there. They would have to mess up pretty badly that it won't happen.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Want Tesla To Accept Doge? on: May 12, 2021, 09:23:29 PM
I really don't even care. But i can't see it hurting anyone except maybe feelings of FA maximalists. But honestly doge isn't bringing anything to the table and doesn't serve a purpose. People just decided to link it mentally to image of a cute doge. And there's nothing wrong with that but there are so many better coins that would be great for adoption. But this is internet and we choose things like boaty mc boatface so there's no escaping doge.
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: May 12, 2021, 09:07:02 PM
We saw the past from $10 to 60k is going up and up. So it sure it will reach $500k next destination.
But why the hell people panic sell now after it reach this high amount?
Do people really still think it goes to 0?

There soulnd't be any sale presure given the history that we see Bitcoin only going up in value

It isn't only panic selling when the price crashes. There can be several reasons, traders preparing for bad news, Stop losses are triggered, leverage positions liquidated, People get scared of long bear market and want to protect their capital so they can buy more at the bottom. And the whole thing comes down like house of cards.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are not an "opportunity". They'll likely offer you less than you have now. on: May 12, 2021, 09:01:34 PM
Well even if there weren't any official consensus, it's still known to be a centralized digital currency. Just that, and it's more than enough to identify that they'd pretty much be just the same as fiat, one that'd be pretty damn advantageous to them more compared to the current fiat system. It's pretty much like how China wants to control literally everything that happens in their country, just that this one is concentrated on the financial sector of basically the entire world.

Of course fiat and CBDC is centralized by default (underlying protocol doesn't have to be though), that's what fiat is and needs to be in order to government benefit from their own money. They need to have option to "buffer" it by printing it and controlling it, otherwise they could just move back to gold standard or similar to that and there's a reason no government is doing that.
194  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️New coins every week on: May 12, 2021, 06:00:53 AM

Yeah, that's how it always works. You need to keep playing to win more BFG tokens so your dividend stays the same or increases. Luckily the number of BFG tokens that can be mined is capped, but for the moment only 50% of the tokens is already mined.

52% has been mined to be precise, and if i may add, 51% of those total mined tokens have been burned also. Burning rate seems to be rather effective imho. Funny enough, most of the BFG burnings happen when people gamble with it. Greed seems to be a good for burning and i can't see it ending even if BFG pays more, because it's just that greed what makes people want it more so they are willing to gamble with it.
195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency really pays on: May 11, 2021, 07:10:26 PM
Some years back when I heard about cryptocurrency from a friend, at that time I didn't bothered to ask him what it was all about and how it works. I was having the feelings that cryptocurrency was like a ponzi scheme that could crash at any time. I never knew cryptocurrency is the future currency. Many who were into cryptocurrency are now expert in the crypto world and living large. Today am so glad to be in this forum to learn and get more knowledge about cryptocurrency.

The fact that you use "cryptocurrency" as a term for something that wouldn't crash, you are going to be in trouble in the future. Cryptocurrencies are an umbrella term for various different projects that vary in quality a LOT. And even most established cryptocurrencies are going to "crash" eventually, like they have done many times. What you are experiencing now is called bull market, and it doesn't last. It will eventually change to Bear market and then it will be a real possibility that most of your cryptos will lose -70% to -90% of their value, or more.

After this comes to bull market of course, but when you wait that for several years with coins that seem dead, most of us give up. Especially when people have real world expenses to pay.
196  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are not an "opportunity". They'll likely offer you less than you have now. on: May 11, 2021, 07:01:20 PM
There's no official consensus yet how CBDCs should work and what kind of platform they should run on, but one of the main things will be privacy bcause public blockchains are uncompliant with GDPR. Take a look what Dusk Network is building for example, that's one of the solutions that could work. But eventually we might be getting a better deal then we thought, a system that replaces physical cash and doesn't go China's way, but acts as a alternative for full blown govenrment tracking program.
197  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️New coins every week on: May 11, 2021, 09:06:31 AM
-cut-
Dividends are getting lower not because of the merging but because more and more BFG tokens are getting mined. and the distribution pool stays the same.
You can see a small increase after the monthly burn of BFG tokens.

Actually for example total distributed btc amount has halved from february too. Eth has decreased too. And in the overall i haven't seen any difference in dollar amount, but i am getting paid way more via BNB and TRX now. I am currently mining only with slots even though it's not as steady but you can gamble with trx with quite small amounts and average return to player is quite high.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 songs on the subject of digital currencies! Have you heard them? on: May 08, 2021, 12:44:57 PM
I've heard everyone of them expect blokchainian rhapsody, and i am quite impressed on that because i started to write my own crypto cover from that while ago and it was hard. Now i feel i don't have to complete that anymore. They got pretty good singers on that one too, it's a difficult piece, especially background vocals go high.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is no one talking about shorting alts? on: May 07, 2021, 10:35:21 PM
It's hard to predict which out of thousands of alts will go up, but what you can predict is that once a coin went up, it's bound to go down. Like, take the best performing coin right now, Dogecoin, there's absolutely no justification for its price, it has no adoption or promising features, it's pure hype. It's bound to go down, so if you carefully short it with small leverage, you're going to make profit. Obviously, the danger is in the known trading wisdom - "the market can stay irrational longer than you can remain solvent", but still the fact that pumped coins will go down is something that you can rely on.

I don't want to underestimate the power of the meme and i don't want to play with it. I don't have anything against doge but losing my money against meme would be worst. And yeah it should go down imho, but then again, so should many other and doge isn't even the worst one of them. It's a funny meme coin, at least it's not a blatant scam.
200  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase Bitcoin Receiving Address Question? on: May 07, 2021, 10:27:50 PM
It literally shows like half the entire address?  When i copy and pasted the full address... it showed the other half.

Is that normal?

I can't recall how coinbase shows it but metamask does that too. I can copy the address by clicking it but the app shows only the start and the end of the address so you can check that those match to the address. Those are usually the numbers and letters i check anyway so i don't find it weird.
