181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: who else think Litecoin will go huge? on: October 22, 2019, 11:19:20 AM
Not me, the https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin we can no longer see any recent commits being submitted which means progress is pretty slow and the diluted market doesnt help either there are tons of new altcoins racing to compete to replace the top 10 coins.

Also i think some miners have are no longer mining the coin because of the rewards been reduced due to the block halvening.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Brave browser ! For anti malware and blocking ads on: October 22, 2019, 06:54:08 AM
I use Brave browser on my laptop, desktop and my smart phone. I agree that searching using Brave browser is faster compared to searching using Chrome. However, I have not tried Brave browser for ios, I read somewhere that loading a page is slow, I hope they fixed it.

but your not affliated with the brave company arent you ? but  your only a fan of the brave browser  . i havent tried brave but i still using chrome which i think better than brave because its optimize for both my lappy and mobile ( which is android )  .  chrome is smarter due to the fact that it uses google or under the google company but it can be a little bit slower and we dont earn rewards on here which makes brave browser win on that point  .
Clearly you havent used the browser, its the same as the creators who made mozilla firefox which is a big competitor of google back then.
The browser has many security feature and its more faster compared to chrome.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Millennial generation are screwed! on: October 22, 2019, 03:59:30 AM
First they spend more time on video games than any other generation, an average gen millennial spend 8 hours on games everyday! Ridiculous!
Because something is called "E-sport" serious players can earn thousands or millions of $

Gaming companies are into developing games to run with blockchain and the tokens that can be used in-game.
EOS already has games in beta available for the download earning money.
There are millenials getting paid to play probably earning more than those in office.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is up with LINK? on: October 22, 2019, 02:32:27 AM
it happens with different coins in different times.. there is no real reason for what happening with LINK.
there are plenty of projects with a lot of good news and progress, and still nothing happens there.
this market is highly manipulated and only because of the price increase you hear so much good think about LINK
at the second the price will reverse, it'll end up just like other cryptos right now.. sideways or slow decline
Almost all exchangers listed link which provides better liquidity even Coinbase listed it it has tapped the US crypto-users and the main reason was the Google so-called partnership and now other companies are in talks with link.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another Shit Coin Up 155.54% (24H) Today on: October 21, 2019, 11:44:48 PM
Never mind such altcoins they are just pumped by the whales to get people's attention. Once people buy the tokens then the whales will dump the price and the people will end up losing their amount of money. I don't actually trust such altcoins rather the top 50 coins in the market to avoid getting ripped by the whales.
whales often manipulate price by creating fake pump.they sacrifice retail trader in order to get much profits.and its be the law in market if beginner trader will always be the victim if they dont understand all of this just pump and dump scenario.
What? Whale? the volume is $10k below, This is just fishes creating a fake pump to let other smaller fishes to buy their bags.
This shitcoin isn't even listed in a decent exchange, its only available to ignored exchangers.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV vs ETH on: October 21, 2019, 10:14:37 PM
Is investing in Bitcoin SV will be more beneficial as it haven't shown full potential yet or ETH will still be dominating in the time to come and should hold onto it ??
What did Bitcoin SV even do? Nothing at all just say it should be the original bitcoin that should stick to the original codes but they are also doing what is bitcoin doing forking to improve the system  Roll Eyes
Ethereum is better because they did bring something to the table and if it shifts to POS it will be more friendly to society because it doesnt need electricity to mine it.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: October 21, 2019, 01:00:12 PM

I do hope they work on partnerships heldings events on a workshop wouldn't attract much usecase in my opinion. The volume isnt really attractive coinex is pretty much a fake volume.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NON-ICO Altcoins on: October 21, 2019, 11:01:46 AM
Apparently it is very rare that the new currencies do not make an ICO but if I were to invest in one at the moment I would invest in GRIN, it has huge growth potential.
Because people do not like to work for free while everyone is going to benefit from it. Almost all altcoins do not generate income to sustain its continuous development and i see only a few of those previous non-ico to be in the top 100 of CMC.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB reach $50 This Year? on: October 21, 2019, 08:59:23 AM
With all of the updates, developments, and added features, the price didnt budge but somewhat stable I do not think that it will hit $50 this year. Bitcoin is even struggling to increase and has affected most altcoins.
The buy back and burn isnt even pushing the price of BNB
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about STO token? on: October 21, 2019, 07:27:01 AM
No, i wouldnt be interested in holding it since there is still lack of info regarding regulations on Security tokens and if it includes dividends or ownership, i might get interested but i think this would be just another utility token in your platform.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash added to Binance US on: October 21, 2019, 04:22:34 AM
Interesting.
Many exchanges are considerting to delist privacy coins.
Most of it are Korean Exchanges. It wouldnt be a problem if the exchangers are doing KYC they can give the data if the concerned accounts are part of money laundering.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 📒⭐👑 Jinbi Token ~ ‘The Golden ICO’ - Merging Gold With Blockchain 👑⭐📒 on: October 21, 2019, 03:08:53 AM
Today they post another news on telegram. they keep on posting gold news on telegram but no news about the token. I really dont understand what they are trying to do. People already call as scam.
The news is not very helpful for investing, so this coin will continue the downtrend in the near future. I think this project has been inactive for a long time and the community of this project is not very active, so in my opinion it will be difficult for this coin to rise again. Now I am still waiting for the good news from the project because I am holding JNB in the long term.

Its been a downtrend since during their ICO stage. You cant even track where the funds are going.
Its listing on exchanges is also a total failure, its one of those failed ICO of 2018.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra the new crypto king on: October 21, 2019, 01:51:58 AM
Project is dead their partners already bailed out and the other remaining will soon to follow. Its a great news this would prevent another facebook disaster, wherein people will lose lots of money because of the shitty security of facebook.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: October 20, 2019, 10:48:03 PM
bitcoin can stand alone even without altcoin

I agree, bitcoin can survive alone, some people use bitcoin as a store of value and not for alternative payment solution. Most coins/tokens gets affected when the btc price spikes in value and some follows the price movement with bitcoin.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Altcoins ? on: October 20, 2019, 10:30:26 PM
I really think people are looking for the altcoins that are being used for the platform. the useless coins/tokens will slowly fade while the useful techs will rise in the rank.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With this possibly upcoming crisis in mind... on: October 20, 2019, 01:04:25 PM
With this possibly upcoming crisis in mind, what you guys think about investing in stable coins standardised with fiats?
Is is even a thing, that they will sink like a stone, just like fiats will? Are there any mechanisms that can protect such stablecoins?
Or maybe, I have a misconception of the reasons for their existence and nobody is actually hoarding st.coins?
Why would you invest in stablecoins? Its pegged at a fixed value if you use for trading then it has a point but if its for long-term holding might aswell turn it into a real fiat and then invest it in a bank.
There is no mechanism that protect stablecoins from losing its value, its just an imagination its not backed by something.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] CurioInvest - Bringing collectables into the digital world on: October 20, 2019, 12:10:15 PM
My guess is and based on what I've gathered; the problem was the administrator who is in charge of the main telegram group, his payments got delayed and instead of waiting patiently for it to be delivered, he/she made some bad claims about the project. Back when I was running this project's bounty campaign; payment for my management service fee also got delayed, several times, and the team always expresses the same reason: they're busy, doing numerous events and traveling. I guess I'm just a really patient guy compared to that admin. My payments were all delivered.

Okay, I guess now, i know no how they operate and do business.
They are happy with delays and not fulfilling their part of the bargain if this is the performance that they are showing, who would like to do business with them especially when money is involve.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized exchanges vs Decentralized exchanges on: October 20, 2019, 11:55:33 AM
I think decentralised exchanges are the best like you have total control over what happens to your asset. To me thats quite interesting
Decentralized exchanges is the best but unfortunately only few are using them.
Most user still prefer the centralized because its much easier for people while in the decentralized exchange it seems people are paranoid entering their private key/file to access the exchange.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: October 20, 2019, 10:24:30 AM
no, buying low rank gems is where the big profit is. I would consider buying top ranked coins if i have a fund like hundreds of dollar but in my current situation i would stick in looking for potential low cap coins/tokens.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be used in Money laundering and Terrorism? on: October 20, 2019, 07:46:39 AM
It is just an excuse not to use crypto and then prefer it over other forms of currency, which in real sense have more lapses.
How many incidences of money laundering and terrorisms have been reported eve since its advent. None. Even if cryptocurrency is not alive, a lot would have  happened through others sources. So it should not be an excuse.

Agreed, they can even track the bitcoin transfers until they can find a clue or link.
Just like what happened to an arrest of people who were running child pornography website.
Cryptocurrency can also be used to help in tracking down illegal activities.
