181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: October 22, 2020, 01:36:21 PM
I generally play safe. Investing on a currency that have been tested and is performing well, preferably when they are down. I also try to be first to transact depending on the news, it generally works. I also never miss out opportunities like hard fork to create new coins like BCH is going to have around November 15. When investing in entirely new coin, I look for people and business that are backing the project. The ones that are backed by established people and business are likely to succeed.
Very nice, diver your investments is always good options, buy dip and sell it when it high is always general ways to earn and play safe. Yes, that's correct. with people that are already in this space and professional the projects will be stable and have decent hope for investment
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of Defi hype! Time to invest in real business with real products? on: October 21, 2020, 01:51:24 PM
End of Defi hype! Time to invest in real business with real products?

Gas prices at 6 months low!!

DEFI hype investment hypes are over! it is really a time to invest in real business with real products!
Its time for bitcoin to go back on business and yes we finally break the resistance on $12k level which resulted to a big dump on many DeFi projects. I don’t know if the hype is done already or we will see the second trend of the hype maybe after the pump of bitcoin. Even if there’s a hype you must always invest on good projects, don’t fall on the hype trap, DeFi is still good though but not at all.
There will be always new trends after. like the good old days when bitcoin near $20k, there;s a lot of projects coming in with the ICO trends, and iam really sure that the DeFi trends isn't ended yet
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: October 21, 2020, 01:48:34 PM
TBH never heard systemkoin before, but for some reason i also don't like p2pb2b and latoken. because they have a lot of fake volume and some of the wrong ways to do a good business
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: October 21, 2020, 01:45:39 PM
I have been transacting in crypto for a long time and in my opinion the cheapest fees are Dogecoin, TRX and LTC. besides cheap transactions, the speed of delivery is also better than ethereum and bitcoin
About the speed, i think it's about the network or something? but maybe tron is leading in the transactions fees. "Fees can be less than 1 cent depending on how many inputs and outputs you have."
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bahamas becomes the next nation to launch National Digital Currency on: October 21, 2020, 01:41:58 PM
It using KYC so maybe that's good, but not really sure about their scaleability on that digital currency. But so far, as long it have good impact to the blockchain space, that's good. hope they provide better structure
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap isn't safe for newbies who don't want to learn on: October 20, 2020, 12:11:28 PM
Big helps when it comes to well-known cryptocurrency, but if you can's dig in the informations about the coins that listed there, better to avoid. not say that cmc was bad, but need more than just "data" if you want to invest.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm scared of ethereum gas fee on: October 20, 2020, 12:03:37 PM
For a gas fee to reach above $2000 for which I would deem impossible then Ethereum price to dollar must be over the moon then. But looking on the bright side that cannot happen because of the congesting transactions on the blockchain network
It's the ether price, not the gas fees. but that's indeed impossible. there will be some protocol in the near future that will solve this issues, in fact that some projects already doing their best to build some new platform that can minimize the gas fee
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 20, 2020, 12:01:01 PM
With your example, we know that from $1 to $3 is 300% price up and this is the time for sell to get the profit.
I don't know why people still holding if they find their coin price already multiplied 3x.
Even traders usually sells their coin when the price up only 10-30% already, we must learn how to know the time for hold or sell our coin.
Some projects always offering and make promises that their projects will be get new developments, so the price "might" be up again, but you know it's always bad when youre greedy. selling when you already getting enough profit is the best way to avoid that kind of situation
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think we have more bounty hunters now because of the pandemic on: October 20, 2020, 11:58:06 AM
This is sad actually, people losing their job and so many people can't afford their daily needs. Obviously because it's always work from home so we have new bounty hunters coming in and some old hunters also active again due this pandemic. Hope we can soon can get out of this situations and everything will be normal again
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is UniSwap the most powerful in the Defi market? on: October 19, 2020, 12:36:53 PM
The trend and all the Hype is big factors, but we also need to admit that the uniswap team were very good at marketing, they can launch decent platform with the right time and great promotions. there will be more to come for this defi hype, so let's see
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: October 19, 2020, 12:27:17 PM
I'm against this idea of calling people into crypto, you need to be of safer side or you will have tons of people hating you in the end, crypto has it's risks and that's what you need to let people know, there are still millions of people in this earth that don't want to take risks, losing money is like losing part of their body, I'd say observe very well before introducing anyone to crypto
Yeah. it's high risk, folatile and fluctuative. This is not for everybody, especially for people who always keeping their money and play safe. crypto is still to early if you reffering for all people. maybe still need more works on regulations and another things that will make crypto more safer for everyones
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 19, 2020, 12:23:37 PM
IMHO, I think it's not gonna happen because if we look at the trend deeper, new projects are also contributed by making the crypto market busy, Most of the top-ranking cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and some others are also benefited from this new projects because when you purchased those tokens you need to buy a Bitcoin or Ethereum, to participate in that new project's token sale. so with that observation, I presume that new projects and token creation will continue beyond further.
Yes because bitcoin and ethereum are some major crypto that already become foundations in this space and community. Really sure that there will be more projects in the future maybe that will surpass ethereum or become main platform for a lot of projects
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like we are going ICO round 2 all over again on: October 19, 2020, 12:19:31 PM
This DeFi hype will force investors to do more due diligence since it's very short term and every projects now using defi as their main focus. But maybe it's slightly different from ICO in last 3 years. iam still sure that investors and community know better projects to invest
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is DeFi over? then old coins revolution ? on: October 15, 2020, 01:24:09 PM
The ancient altcoins that you say are the foundation of the crypto market, there is no doubt about these altcoins, whether the DEFI has ended or not, of course, many people have felt huge profits and lost on this hype.
as I know, the value of the DEFI altcoin is currently experiencing a large decline, it does not mean that the DEFI collapses, it could be a correction to make it even bigger.
This is like market correction maybe, when it's end defi will be more stronger. Just like bitcoin and other crypto trends, but iam not really sure that defi will ended just like ico 2017 because both are differents
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 14, 2020, 01:30:20 PM
Newbie or not, depends on the project decisions. some of the projects doesn't know about the forum rank system, and then suddenly they got some offers from newbie (?) members. or in other way, they also can start their marketing themselves.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: October 14, 2020, 01:26:35 PM
It's never a good thing to be too greedy, OP let greed consume him, he failed to sell his coins even when they are at all time high, this is wrong, the reason for long term hold and short term hold is to make good returns, I doubt we will see huge market gains of 2017 once again, everything is timing, know when to let go
Actually, it's only 50% greed since the projects that he mention also come up with some "promise" but yeah, if you think it's already worth to sell why not? crypto nature is always flcutuatife, no one can determine the value in the future
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most searched cryptocurrencies on Google on: October 13, 2020, 11:43:34 AM
Hello, according to the website: blockchaincenter.net, these cryptocurrencies are most searched among cryptocurrencies:
1.  Bitcoin (80,8%)
2. Ethereum (14%)
3. XRP (8%) followed by Litecoin (4,7%), Bitcoin Cash (2,7%), IOTA (2,5%), Monero (2,1%), Tron (1,8%), Dogecoin (1,8%) and Cardano (1,5%).

They processed information based on Google Trends.

When you compare it with the market cap, then where is Bitcoin Satoshi Vision, EOS or Binance Coin?  Shocked

BSV, EOS and Binance coins gained popularity very lately, but majority of the people started loving ETH, LTC and Doges earlier.
As XRP's introduction also made a noticeable change in the market, so many cryptocurrencie traders started using it in the earlier stage.
And about Bitcoin? We all love it because of it's high price.
So we shouldn't question about the top 3 searched cryptocurrencies.
It;s because bitcoin is a pioneer of the crypto community, so not surprised if bitcoin be the most searched crypto on search engine. also same about the ethereum. almost 60% up projects using ethereum platform, so that's enough to make ethereum as one of the top crypto right now.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next trend for 2021? on: October 13, 2020, 11:38:27 AM
No. Defi trend will continue in 2021, it'll only get much bigger. I have read about NFT but to be honest it doesn't seem to hold much interest of crypto enthusiasts and it has been around for a long time.
You're right, it will continue to grow in 2021. This trend has not reached its limit yet, many new coins are continuing to follow it.
many projects are just want to follow the trends, but not really sure all of them will be legit. it will be good if this NFT things have some project backed by legal entity, so all participants will be safe, cmiiw
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: October 13, 2020, 11:35:39 AM
Hi everyone, I mostly participate in public token sales, so I need to know about the start of sales as early as possible to prepare. I wonder how you learn about new projects?
I didn’t following any specific ICO/IEO related platform to know about upcoming projects, though icodrops is my favorite here i feel easy to browsing and learn about details. Icobench was quite popular help to find out new legit projects but now they providing fake rating. Mostly i found new projects in this forum.

dunno about the fake rating at icobench, but maybe it's their algorithm that set to be like that. coz when reputable person joined the project's it will increase the score? but that's true icodrops is more reliable
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi - The Scam Engine? on: October 12, 2020, 11:27:21 AM
this is all about hype? some of the Defi projects really have a good ideas and backed by qualified teams, but again a lot of projects just want to jump about this defi hype. i just hope, that we will have really really honest defi project.
