181  Economy / Reputation / Re: Vod sending incompetent trust rating to me and few more legal sellers / buyers! on: May 15, 2020, 03:31:32 AM
I do always agree escrow service and have used DireWolfM14 escrow service. He escrows the funds always without problems.
Can you explain any further about your relationship here?

The review states that you're scamming Amazon Web Services, and it's true that selling these accounts violates Amazon's terms of service.
Also DireWolfM14 you can explain further about this and why you feel you should provide escrow services here? "Allegedly".

Not to be a pain in the ass, because I am stupid and probably mis-understood something, but shouldn't this auction have ended at 9:01:00?

I see his point here.

This bid should be invalid as it came in 49 seconds after the auction ended??
Has OP contacted you yet r_a? Judging by his own specific rule set I would agree that the "winning bid" is invalid.

No, and I can't message OP due to this account being a newbie. Crossing my fingers!
I'm sure K-Paxian or the selected escrow would be eyeing these threads so hopefully the proper bid is honored here.

187  Economy / Collectibles / Re: CRYPTO STAMPS - Austria - Catalogue on: May 10, 2020, 02:00:37 AM
Is there any technical difference between the "on-chain" stamps versus the ones on the cards?
Or any way to distinguish this?
This was the best explanation I had received about this from member GoWest when I was looking into buying some.

"Most Cryptostamps were sold as physical stamps (149,500 of them) and could only be transferred online if the private key was revealed on the physical stamp.

The OCS stamps were sold as purely digital stamps through the Online Chain Store (hence OCS) on the Austria Post website, and there were only 500 of them, though they do not have a distinct appearance. The owner then had the option of requesting the physical stamp AFTER the purchase was made (so, the opposite of the physical stamp). When the OCS stamps are first bought, they had the property of "Sold." When the physical stamp was requested, the property changed to "ShippingSubmitted," then "ShippingConfirmed."

So the rarest of the CryptoStamps are the OCS (500 of the 150,000), and there are only 3 of those 500 that are red.

189  Economy / Collectibles / Re: New Auction: Bitcoin Casascius Coin (mint) RARE 5 BTC - 2013 - w original email on: May 09, 2020, 04:41:19 PM
I'm asking a premium around 10BTC. I will consider all offers received before Thursday. Collectors should appreciate the original purchase price for the 5BTC was 6.43 BTC. In this sense, it is worth 1.43BTC for the coin alone. I believe an unloaded coin has collectable value >2x, but the numismatic value is just being realized by collectors—we will see.

Here is a timestamped twitter post I made for historical confidence: https://twitter.com/hovden/status/405861216276324354?s=20

There are few coins this well documented.

Why open: If what I feel is a fair value is not realized, I want to develop educational content. For the mainstream, it will be an opportunity to talk about intrinsic and extrinsic value placed on objects and currency, and a brief discussion of new monetary technology offered by cryptocurrency. For the crypto community, it will be the only high-denomination and high-quality video content of a Casascius coin being redeemed (to date). I'm open to hear your ideas.

If sold I will roll resources into some other offbeat educational effort, possibly hire summer students to produce interesting videos. The COVID situation has shifted part of my focus toward experience in digital educational content.

Regards.
You're quite far off in your thoughts on premium here. We have quite a few resources including the search bar that you can search for Casascius coins (tenths, halves, 1, 5, 10 , and 25s) and see recent premiums. Someone with a little more time today can probably pull up recent Casascius sales to give you a better understanding of what you may be able to achieve in premium on this coin. Fair market price is oftentimes realized right here on the Collectibles board.
A rich billionaire with no idea how bitcoin works but wants something shiny and "old" in bitcoin terms might blindly pay 10BTC but that would be like fishing in your bathtub and expecting to catch a blue marlin.

However your experience goes here I will be sure to watch your cracking/peeling as I have yet to see a 5 peeled. Good luck.
190  Other / Meta / Re: I want a way to demerit posts. on: May 09, 2020, 04:31:07 PM
Everyone is getting too caught up on the idea that this would remove merit. I would consider it more like a newbie flag, but rather than being placed on a person it would be on a post. If the post was filled with false/misleading information then it should show up as tinted/slightly red if whomever(s) can activate this button/option use it. I'm just throwing ideas out there but this is why this is being discussed.
Drop the idea that this removes merit from someone's post/account and lets discuss a way to stop misleading comments from parting newbies and their money. A LOT of people don't read whole threads or do any of their own research, those that do should be able to protect a little better.
191  Economy / Collectibles / Re: BALLET Physical Cryptocurrency Wallets on: May 09, 2020, 02:20:39 PM

I'm just making sure they get the proper information.  No worries, I'm certain it was an honest mistake.  Be well and stay safe out there.

at least you were nice about it - I pointed out the gold ones on another thread and I was called a shilling deceptive piece of shit and threatened with negative trust. nowhere did I even say it was the halving one - simply that there are gold wallets for sale and even provided a coupon code that would save the guy 5% off if he wanted to get one of those. when the other dude went off on me - I did edit my post to specify that they are simply gold ones and not the halving edition (though I never said it was)

my point is there is a proper way to let me know they missed some details or in clarifying a post. I thank you for being one of those types vs the other.
You forget to add that you were directly posting a reply to a Newbie in a thread titled "Bitcoin Halving Special Edition Wallet". What item did you think he was asking about? We take care of our Newbies around here. You're walking on thin ice. Let's see if you can get up to edit 4, 5, or 6 in the other thread trying to save face.
If you don't know something for sure.. save your +1 post count and let someone who does know what they're talking about answer. I know with affiliate codes in play the early bird gets the worm though right so that'll never happen with you.
192  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Who wants free btc? on: May 09, 2020, 01:59:08 PM
I am kinda annoyed at people saying that we do not know if all the of the Sol coins are compromised.

If you post yours, with a timestamp, and the address clear on it I'll send some btc and we can see if it's sweeped or not.

killyou72 we actually already have a few of these experiments happening. There is no need to possibly hand scammers or an automated script any more free money. Keep your btc.

Invalid as does not meet account requirements to register for raffle  Sad
missed by one whole day!

Unlucky, but if another account made on or after 4/21 read the rules and didn’t post because of it then it wouldn’t be fair to them if I let this person in. Rxalts2020.
agreed, just rubbing salt in wounds Wink exceptions to rules on this board should be rarely rarely used so i fully support your enforcing of them.
194  Other / Meta / Re: I want a way to demerit posts. on: May 09, 2020, 03:15:45 AM
My time spent is mainly in Collectibles and we often times have people come in and provide completely false information about coins/specifications/sales etc... rather than have to light these people up and tell them they are wrong which causes bad blood resulting in them less willing to revisit the community it would be nice to be able to just have a few of the "in the know" members be able to have an option to effectively hide this information or make it less visible in the eyes of new collectors/newbies coming into the space. The majority of the time the person with the false information rages and is unwilling to admit they were wrong which causes great friction and furthered confrontation.
A button such as others suggested that after being pressed 5x or so could hide their false comment and no more harm done, the affected would realize and seek out advice/the truth I would hope.

I don't see something like this working in Meta/Reputation, the Collectibles board and the more Technical Boards/Discussions would greatly benefit from this sort of thing.
Demerit may be the wrong word as this wouldn't be removing merit from a post, but rather hiding/forcing you to click "show comment" (possibly with a header explanation) to see what was deemed false. Tough thing to sort out but I do believe it would be a quality of life improvement for certain boards if not abused. This shouldn't be happening multiple times a day either so the burden on Mods/Staff to make sure it is being used correctly would not be very burdensome unless it is being abused.

Are they sold out?

the gold ones are still available in single, 3 pack and 5 pack options - use the link and coupon code in my signature and you can get 5% off as well.

they do not appear to still come with the .01 loaded to them though.
Completely false. This thread is about the bitcoin halvening special edition which are desired due to their packaging. The ones you are trying to shill to people with your affiliate code come packaged in the plain cardboard packaging.
Clever tactic and choice of words though. You're looking like a deceptive piece of shit. I'll save your negative for now.
198  Economy / Reputation / Re: Getting rejected : why ? on: May 08, 2020, 03:49:54 AM
I supported the flag against you and your team because after reviewing your first few posts with the ullu account and coin there was zero transparency that you were indeed the covid19/covgrow folk until someone called you out about it.
Transparency transparency transparency.

Everything you are trying hard to explain and counter the flag with should have been your first post made from the ulluplatform account. I see terms like "just launched" and "new cryptocurrency" in your first couple posts. If you were rebranding an already existing coin these should not be the terms you are using to explain it.
This is how nefarious actors in the space operate and I will remain supporting this flag.
199  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Sale] Ballet Crypto Bitcoin Halving Special Edition Wallets | W/ Free 0.01 BTC on: May 06, 2020, 05:22:57 PM
^ shipping to USA was $0.00 , elsewhere was $10.00 and up. Bitcoin is worldwide, expand your mind further than just NA. (For the regular site where price was $129)
If shipping to say the EU or Australia.. etc.. was $15+ then using the second site for $139 (shipping was included) was the better option.

Quote to show the $139 had free worldwide shipping
Hi minerjones, the wallets are $139 with free worldwide shipping.

The link is to a website we created specifically for the Bitcoin Halving Special sales funnel.

Let me know if you have more questions.

--Tendai

Execution of this sale, piss poor.. intentions, on point.
