Theymos has requested that we ignore this idiot, even as he keeps prodding for more drama.
Why not just pm TMAN then? Seems like a prod for more drama.

463  Economy / Reputation / Re: TECSHARE is a scammer on: September 09, 2019, 08:39:06 PM
In the last two weeks we have seen the words racist and scammer used in very very poor fashion on the forum. These words have no meaning nowadays because of you people. Open a dictionary or google the proper terms you are looking for.
These are now used for clickbait to gather the uneducated pitchfork mobs. The world has gone to shit in this regard, don't let our forum follow.
464  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Special Auction for 5x Denarium Bitcoin Decennium 2019 Gold Bars on: September 05, 2019, 03:25:05 PM
We tell you every single auction.. advice to help with skepticism. Guess how much of that advice you take? Absolutely zero. Skepticism remains.
1+1=2
(Using lots rather than serial free for alls, leaving positive trust feedback for repeat newbie bidders, requesting upfront proof of funds)

The more people yell shill when we see your poorly held auctions the less an outsider can view the above suggestions as shillproof now. There isn't much you can do that I wouldn't figure out a way to have a shill get around it.. and of course my mind stays with the still version and I don't bid.

Wanna know the way out of this one? I request that kebab77 get together his/her:
2oz 2018 Denarium Gold Bar
2x 1oz 2019 Denarium Decennium Gold Bars
1BTC Gold Parity Coin
Username and date on a piece of paper.

Hardly intrusive at all, I just attributed all of those coins belonging to them just through post history.
465  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Special Auction for 5x Denarium Bitcoin Decennium 2019 Gold Bars on: September 04, 2019, 05:59:58 PM
Every denarium auction turns into a shitshow. This is not out of the ordinary at all. Many prominent collectors no longer bid in their threads.

467  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] WORLD RENOWNED BITCOIN ARTIST ARTWORK on: August 31, 2019, 04:31:56 AM
I agree. I’ve always seen Teegumes as a watch dog of sorts on this forum, someone who’s not going to let bs slide no matter who’s behind it. I very much so value his opinion. This is also why I encourage him to look at your behavior the past week. All your posts, all your feedback left, as well as my edited post above where I’ve pointed some of this out.

Locking a thread after refusing escrow on a high dollar item as to receive all communication in private is a common scam technique, especially  when locking after not responding to legitimate concerns inside the thread.

Miss representing an item you’re selling entirely, saying you allow for escrow but an abnormal shipping fee is not part of that escrow, and expecting that others should review all threads on this collectibles sub to gain pertinent  information that is imperative to an honest sale is straight up deceitful and a clear scam attempt in my book.

I open auction thread, click on imgur link.
See this:

Read this:
Top left corner of art piece was fragmented away from art piece, has been fixed.

Continue to read OP, see this:
Feel free to ask any questions related before bidding.

I ask what happened/history of piece. Decide not to bid.

I won't deny that he runs some very strange auctions/sales threads. It keeps our section interesting.. stop the personal attacks.
468  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] WORLD RENOWNED BITCOIN ARTIST ARTWORK on: August 31, 2019, 03:32:46 AM
I bought the WoodCollector piece from wheresmycoin, the shipping was pricey aswell but after he shipped he refunded me the amount overpaid (without me asking). I think you guys are taking his strange humor the wrong way and blowing this way out of proportion.

Now if the piece doesn't arrive I'll change my mind on this  Wink
jk have tracking

The anger here should be directed at start the art. Even though I have 10+ pieces of his abstract art I am highly discouraged from purchasing anything else from him after seeing the stone pieces that wheresmycoin has apparently bought. Don't know which was worse, the USA or the Japan piece.
469  Economy / Reputation / Re: What should i do? on: August 29, 2019, 02:17:28 PM
Hey StackItUp,
What you should have done was sketch a face/portrait of your own to show off your own level of skills. You could use your reference pictures and sketch one on your own to show you have a similar skill. As it stands nobody knows if you even know how to draw or not.

What you need to do here is admit you fucked up, spend the 10 to 40 hours drawing your own portrait (probably with regular updates along the way to disprove anyone saying you stole the artwork once again) and show the forum/potential buyers what you can actually do.

English not being your main language is really hurting you here.. you may mean something else but it comes out looking really bad and just doesn't help your case with the accusers here.

In regards to your auction for your amber box, keep it going, use escrow and prove that you indeed deliver on your sales. It is a unique neat piece that one of the collectors will enjoy adding to their collections. This stain on your account will mean that you will always have to offer escrow services through any of our popular escrow providers here but that is not a bad thing in the world of bitcoin.

Edit to add: Retaliatory red tags are never the way to go about it. The few that left you red are going to leave them up until you can prove that you can draw and that it was just a language barrier misunderstanding. There is a way to come back from this and reds are seldomly permanent. You've got some work ahead of you but you have to realize how skeptical all of the longer term bitcoin users are when it comes to things like sales/scams/plagiarism.

That looks really cool 1Dq, you're definitely talented to bring that picture out of the responses here.

I wouldn't get too caught up in signifying "old men".. the old boys club aka the fed/govt is what bitcoin stands against.
473  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Brand New ICG Labels for all crypto coins going forward. on: August 08, 2019, 02:18:37 AM
Interesting initiative. I don't dislike them but also don't love them. The appeal of a slabbed coin to me is the actual coin itself.. these sort of give off a coin with 1/3 of a coin for a hat vibe to me.

Also having 999 fine silver in the label but the slabbed coin being brass/gold/other is a bit of a throw off.

If ICG still offers the old plain blues then I see no problem here.. everyone has their own personal preferences with designs of course.

Very cool to see ICG working with you AM. Great community vibes!
474  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ChipMixer is scam now - 1BTC stoled on: August 08, 2019, 02:01:19 AM
Yuri Jhonny is correct. He visited our service, deposited BTC to our deposit address and our service did not give him chips nor vouchers. We are sorry for that. He received his chips after support intervention.

We are investigating what went wrong. We will update this post.

Hey look.. how a professional service/business SHOULD reply to problems/solutions.

Exchange representatives should take note.
475  Economy / Collectibles / Re: BECOME PART OF AN EXCLUSIVE BITCOINTALK ART PROJECT on: July 25, 2019, 07:45:42 PM
If we could incorporate as many actual physical coins/hardware wallets as possible into the art that would raise interest substantially. Expensive as hell and would command quite the premium from whoever ends up owning this piece. There are many many peeled coins out there.

A crypto ransom letter comes to mind... some sort of fiat trashing letter pieced together and spelled out with coins/ledgers/trezors. Maybe this idea could be the CoA.

Besides alleged theft accusations, this user also made threats against us.
Some neckbeard which you probably have KYC information about or IP Address at the very least made threats from behind his monitor towards an exchange that nobody can pinpoint with a CEO that nobody knows anything about. Tell me how scared and threatened you were?
