So did Yobit do the swap or not?
Coin is still dipping. Right now is around 56 satoshi. Promises this coin will take off and mooning but no Amsterdam City nor Netherlands adoption. AMS is dying.

Well, the community and Devs do nothing to help the coin that for sure. I've asked multiple questions on here to have them ignored. Also, no Dutch bank allows people that accept cryptocurrencies to keep an account. The only ones that can are people that accepted Bitcoin before the rule went into place. There is a way around, have businesses that accept AMS, cash them out at crypto ATMs like the ones I run, but at this point, I won't do it for this coin.

the wallet has strange behavior all the time also

Can you please be more specific?

Think long term man. AMS will get higher value, no doubt about it. cryptocurrency is the future of finance. We are early adopters, as history has shown, all early adopters win exponentially.

You hit the nail there! Exactly what I think.

Its a common thing I have seen in crypto in all these years. People buy masternodes, the price drops and they sell with a loss. Its all greed without any future perspective.

Have to second the dev here. I ran 1 MN for almost a month now and got ~700 in rewards. Which, at current prices, means I made 1$ profit after taking out the $2,50 for the VPS. Not to mention I'm also up 10% on the BTC value of the collateral.

!PROFIT!

on a sidenote: @keesdewit, what is the rationale behind the 100k collateral? Most MN coins are in the 1k-10k range, taking coin supply into account.

The 100k collateral would make a masternode affordable for beginners and profitable for long term investors. I still think it is the sweet spot for masternode collateral.

Have been able to send AMS out of Yobit with no issues and almost instant results. I sent AMS into Yobit to try and buy/sell to gain more and the AMS never arrived. Here it is a day and a half later and I have now lost most of my AMS. This sucks, rant over.

I think the wallet on yobit is the new AMS
on novaexchange is the old one

I wish that was the case but it was coming from my desktop wallet (latest version) straight to Yobit.

You can simply not mix old and new because the addresses are incompatible. Yobit is behind in syncing because they are still on the 4.0 version which is the new chain, but not the latest version.

That certainly makes my faith in this coin go down. I was building to a masternode and I can't even move coins back and forth. So, out of 4 exchanges that I know of, you can only send coins from your wallet to 1? This is nuts. Lesson learned.

Well, if thats your conclusion then so be it. If you think this is all nuts then go ahead. I do not care about complainers like you that draw conclusions like this. What can I do more to move the exchange to update their wallet? Your the one that is nuts here. You have no idea what I do behind the screens to get this all right. If I read replies like this I get the creeps. So if Yobit fails to update their wallet you lose faith in the coin? WTF?

My apologies. I am just upset that I specifically went to the AMS website to make sure that Yobit was one of the two on the new chain. This and the fact that I could transfer out OK made me think I could transfer in. Should have sent a smaller amount in or ignored that the site made me think it was OK and just left the coins alone in my wallet. Again, lesson learned and will try again.

No problem man. I will still keep trying to move Yobit to the latest version. That should also solve your problem.

Is here a good man / expert in wallet problems? If yes please send me a pm. The problem is that i have two tx that not appears on wallet mined through masternode, i think i have some file corrupted on wallet folder and i need to fix it.

If you know the address then you could try:
Code:
dumpprivkey address
You will need to replace 'address' with the actual address.

Copy the output of that command, close your wallet and rename wallet.dat to wallet.dat.old. Open the wallet again.

Type the following command:
Code:
importprivkey thevalue
Where 'thevalue' must be replaced with the output that you ccopied earlier.

The wallet will show the balance after some time.

We are talking about only 0.8 XLR here?

Good to see that the latest wallet is so stable now. Unfortunetely I think Yobit didn't update yet as they are quite some blocks behind now. Did you inform them about the update already Kees? Otherwise I will fill in a form. Thanks

Hi blissz,

I already created a ticket.

You are running an old version of the wallet. Please check the OP for a fresh one (2.0.1.0)

Thanks man,

Silly question, I know, but is there a way to enable auto-update? Or do I need to backup wallet, uninstall, install again, restore backup each time new version comes out?

Thanks,

Just overwrite solaris-qt.exe with the new one and nothing more.

Hi Dev,

Having issues with synchronization of windows qt wallet - it starts fine, synchs my amount fine, then proceeds to synchronize - goes to 75% and then "synchronization failed" appears in the bottom left corner.

I can still receive mined payments from pool, so not sure what is the actual effect of the issue. Just don't know if I should be worried? This started about 2 days ago.

Running version 2.0.0.0-1a5aaf8 64-bit

Thanks,

What exactly does "Obfuscation" do in the new XEVAN wallet? It seems to split coins into many different addresses, does it mix it with other wallets of other users too, like Coin Join?

It allows mixing of coins through the masternode network to make those amount of coins much harder to trace in the blockchain when you send it to someone. It's inherited from DASH. (Private Send) It is not really needed unless you really want to hide your transfers. It's not completely untraceable but makes it more difficult to track down the source and target.

Dude can you comment on the Transaction that had 85% of the total coin supply? What the hell was that?

Dude, he already answered you twice now. Read please.

Let me explain it again: Those transactions are made by marsians that cooperate with the nsa to get total control over all blockchains. US and russia have tied up their intellence to stop them. They just managed to create a Solaris transaction with 85% of the supply. The nsa is trying to stop them before they transact 100% of the supply. Otherwise all Solaris will be sent to mars and we need the remaining 15% to fight the war with the middle east of the milky way.

Stupid question, stupid answer Smiley
Sometimes, I definitely think that I should slap some idiots like you to be smartasses around and write some stupid shit that does not help anyone! #rampage Smiley

But I will concede that I did not read the previous message explaining the situation well, therefore I could not understand the message before.
Now I get it that the whole balance will be moved each time, anyone swaps the coins. Thanx

He man, have a bit of humor  Wink

Is there going to be any automatic swap on NovaExchange?  Or perhaps an easy swap using their swap service?

We will have no swap at Nova. You can swap here: https://swap.amsterdamcoin.com

If i will be create 5 master node in my wallet do i need 5  masternode private key or just 1  masternode private key THANKS for answer Smiley Smiley Smiley

Each entry needs its own private key
so I just can setup 1 MasterNode at a time ? THANKS @keesdewit

If you add multiple lines to masternode conf you can run multiple masternodes from one wallet. So each line needs its own private key. At least at some way its possible, because if I look in the masternode list for AMS there are lots of duplicate IPs.
