181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Altcoins Investment Experience on: January 24, 2024, 12:11:05 PM
In long-term investments, Bitcoin is the best crypto, and Ethereum is the best altcoin. So, I think these two coins are the best to invest in.
It's just that the potential profit obtained from a new project or meme coin is greater than that, but with greater risks too. However, I had the same experience, where I invested in new altcoins, but some of them ended in fraud and scams, and some of them still exist today. It's just that the potential is not what it was when the coin was released. So, the best investments in crypto I think are bitcoin and ethereum
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it even possible to offer 10% daily reward? on: January 24, 2024, 08:31:54 AM
LOL, 10% every day, that's 300% in one month. I think only ponzi investments or scam investments can promise such profits. After all, it is too good as an investment place. Try to be more realistic. If investments like this were legit, perhaps there would be many well-known companies promising investments like that. Even banks only promise a very small percentage within one year.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever regretted selling your bitcoins ? on: January 22, 2024, 06:40:57 AM
Yes, if you look at my journey so far, then I will regret selling the bitcoins I have so far. However, in the course of life, we have conditions that make us sell the assets we own to meet life's needs, and that was the decision I took at that time. Although I regret it, it will not happen again. So, all I can do now is try to collect it again, and try to hold it again for a long period of time.
184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maybe future trade is gambling on: January 21, 2024, 09:13:26 AM
Well, I think it depends on how you do it. If you trade futures without doing research, and do it resignedly, then this will be considered gambling. However, quite a lot of people differentiate between these things. Apart from that, even normal trading is sometimes called gambling, so it all depends on how we look at it. However, if you have done in-depth analysis, and research, and are sure the price is what you think it is, then I think it might be worth trading. Because in gambling games, we only hope for luck.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: January 21, 2024, 06:23:52 AM
For those of us that are into altcoin signature campaign and have accumulate some in your wallet, what do you do with it since some of them has low value at the moment if you check their current price?

Do you keep holding it hoping that the price will finally come up since it seems you can't actually trade it with it current value.

Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.
if the coin is worth enough, I will trade it, and if not, then I will leave it in my wallet, even if the coin becomes worthless. Sometimes, we can't expect something that has basically failed. So, when we have the opportunity to exchange it, then exchange it immediately, and if you expect it to rise, then you just have to hold it at the risk of the coin becoming worthless. However, I think the exchange value is also small, so like it or not we have to forget about the coin by selling or leaving it, and looking for another project with more potential.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trend or long term projects? on: January 21, 2024, 01:07:00 AM
Personally, I am more inclined towards projects that have long-term goals. Even though all projects have that goal, I also prefer coins that are already popular and well-known. that's because I'm more comfortable in making long-term investments, and accumulating my assets little by little.
However, if I feel I can take advantage of a trending project to gain profit, then I will also try for that. However, as long as it is still good and profitable, I will try to take advantage of it. It's just that, I prefer to invest long term by choosing long term projects.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What tips you will give to a new investor to identify scam projects early ? on: January 20, 2024, 02:34:46 PM
1. Check the project whitepaper carefully. See if the information is clear, credible and detailed enough. Avoid unconvincing project whitepapers.

A lot of times, projects that have evil intentions often copy the content of the whitepaper of a different and similar project that they are copying, and I've seen this myself. I remember, there was a project, probably a scam, that had a lot of similarities with another project that was released or started earlier, and upon checking, I found out that a lot of the content on their website and whitepaper are simply copy-pasted from the other project, word by word.

In such situations, a person who doesn't know about the other project would think it's a legit project because it has a very good whitepaper and very good content. However, if someone does a simple research using the content, they can easily find out about it. So, I always advise people to do a simple Google search with the content of the project's website and
well, basically they will do everything they can to attract the attention of investors. In fact, for scammers who are so intent on defrauding investors, they will create a really good project, and as you said, they will probably try to copy another project's whitepaper to make people feel that this is a good original project.
However, the solution in this case is to continuously carry out research, starting from the team, even to the community. Apart from that, don't forget to ask other people who are more experienced, or maybe ask on this forum.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is more profitable? on: January 20, 2024, 08:40:30 AM
Just one bitcoin
Bitcoin is the most profitable crypto to all investors. Bitcoin is the first digital asset to hit the crypto market. In fact it was more profitable for its early investors.
Talking about the most profitable question, the answer is actually relative. Bitcoin for me is safer and more reliable. But in terms of benefits, I get more benefits from Altcoins. Maybe in the long term it is true that Bitcoin is the most profitable. But short term altcoins are more profitable. Even though the risk is indeed greater. But it's all worth it for its potential

But this month Bitcoin's rise has dominated and brought more profits than Altcoins. Because altcoins still look sideways and have not shown big increases.

I also think like this. Although there is no doubt that Bitcoin is a very profitable investment, we cannot say that it is the most profitable because it is a relative thing. I know some people who are not good at leveraging bitcoin, but they leverage altcoins and make quite a lot more profit than when trying to profit from bitcoin. However, vice versa.
However, it all depends on how we utilize the assets we have. Bitcoin really provides big profits for me and is very dominant, but so far, I have made more profits by using Ethereum.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: January 20, 2024, 06:44:22 AM
I’m not sure what to advise on this because it isn’t advisable to put all your eggs in one basket. Be it in cryptocurrency or beyond, it makes more sense that you diversify and your worth or value doesn’t depend on just one item. Instead of just one cryptocurrency, why not maybe 3? Or even more for more stability? Well, whatever you decide make sure you pay attention to short term cryptocurrencies and long term ones so you don’t hold the wrong one for too long or the long one for too short.
well, if he had made such a decision, then he was ready to accept the risk. Many people advise not to invest in just one place because it is very risky, but I think the profits that can be obtained can also be very large. However, with that much money, I can only choose the best coin, namely bitcoin. However, if I choose several coins, I might add ETH and BNB to my portfolio. Personally, I would probably add other assets with that kind of money, and wouldn't keep it all in one basket.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying house rent with bitcoin is it appropriate? on: January 19, 2024, 11:08:50 AM
Glancing through the article https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-rent-agreement-argentina-landlord-tenant one would conclude adoption is striving in Argentina. Paying for a house with bitcoin sounds to me a mistake or lack of financial knowledge. Bitcoin is better than Fiat. Bitcoin increases in value and fiat faces inflation. Why then would one spend Bitcoin instead of fiat on a house rent which may expire in few years? Accommodating the Bitcoin can birth the person more money to pay his next house rent. But fiat wouldn't add any interest in the bank. Moreover the house owner will not hold the Bitcoin.

I think there is no problem with that, because basically bitcoin was also created with the aim of being a means of payment. If you think Bitcoin is an investment, then it won't be suitable. if it is a P2P transaction, then it is the same as using fiat, because they use the value of bitcoin at the time the exchange occurs. There are many factors that make this happen, such as the buyer not having cash, and only having bitcoin, or other things. This will make it easier for the person to carry out transactions at that time when the seller receives payment in bitcoin. Apart from that, if the buyer really wants to keep the bitcoins he has, he will definitely pay using fiat. However, I think the conditions that occurred at that time might make it necessary to pay using bitcoin. well, when he has money again, he can go back to investing again.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing a money on: January 19, 2024, 09:08:42 AM
well, whatever the choice, I will only choose bitcoin with that much money. However, if the choice is altcoins, then I would choose ETH and BNB, with the most investment in ETH.
If your goal is long term, and you want to avoid big risks, then the choice is to invest in popular coins only. In fact, currently I have assets below that and still choose popular altcoins to invest in, especially Ethereum. In fact, there are many other altcoins with higher upside potential, but the risks are also greater. If you want that, you can start researching new altcoins.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your doing for now? on: January 19, 2024, 06:31:06 AM
So far, I only plan to collect as many altcoins that I think have potential as I can. I'm pretty sure the price will rise significantly this year or next year. If the price falls, then it will be an opportunity to buy more.
If you focus on investment, then what you are doing now is trying to increase your investment. If you just look at the market without doing analysis or strategy, then you will miss the train.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in meme coins is worthy or not? on: January 18, 2024, 12:10:13 PM
You can expect good things by investing in meme coin for long term. However investing in meme coins has a high degree of risk. In order to invest in Meme Coin, you must accept the risk. You should invest an amount of money in meme coin, so that if your investment is lost, you can bear it. But investing in meme coins you have to think about long term employment. Because the value of Bitcoin is increasing day by day, when Bitcoin Coin can create a good position in the cripto market, it will definitely get a good profit from Meme Coin.
I don't know whether investing in meme coins in the long term is a good thing, but before investing, make sure you use money that you are ready to lose, because the risk in investing in meme coins in the long term is very large. Even though many have benefited from it, that doesn't mean it's good.
I don't think that investing in meme coins is a good thing, but I also understand that the potential profits from meme coins are very large. I just suggest that if you want to invest in meme coins, use money that really doesn't affect your main finances.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto investment vs real estate investment : Which one more dependable? on: January 18, 2024, 09:14:13 AM
Crypto investment vs real estate investment : Which one more dependable in the future
Though have been in the crypto space for quite some time now, I knew little about crypto. A friend of mine just introduced me to real estate investment.
Which one should I go for with a capital less than $2500?
it's actually hard to determine. However, in my opinion, crypto investment has faster potential than real estate. Maybe you can enjoy investing in real estate in a few years if you really invest in the right real estate. However, crypto investment has a higher risk, because the money you invest could decrease quickly.
However, for $2500, I would probably choose a crypto investment over real estate. Because we could make $10k with $2500 and start thinking about real estate investing. however, if the initial capital was larger, I might choose real estate.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: January 18, 2024, 06:33:14 AM
I don't think investing before or after the halving will be too big of a deal.
because when the BTC halving will not immediately go up.
but investing now and accumulating every month is also not a bad thing.
Well, if your goal is investing, the sooner the better. We don't know what the halving will bring. It's possible that prices will immediately rise, and that will be profitable when we start investing from now on, especially if you believe in several altcoins which will have high prices after the halving. There are many advantages to starting as soon as we can. However, I also started investing long before the halving happened because we don't know when prices will start to rise.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasoning before investing can save you from lose on: January 17, 2024, 01:59:03 PM
When people ask for advice from other people who have been investing for a long time, most of the answers to these questions are to understand the risks you will face if your investment does not run smoothly.
However, understanding the risks, and being prepared for them is the first thing an investor must do. Even though that is the first and foremost thing, it is not uncommon for people to ignore this and invest in the hope that they will get big profits. Because of this, less people lose their assets than add to the assets they have. However, be a wise investor, who understands the risks in investing and is prepared to accept them. Apart from that, in-depth research also needs to be done because apart from accepting the risk, we also need to understand what we are investing in.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $20,000 to invest in any Altcoins of your choice? on: January 17, 2024, 10:29:45 AM
Can you please help with any Altcoins that coins that someone can invest on in this particular time.

I'm not a financial advisor, but if you're considering investing $20,000 in altcoins, it's essential to conduct thorough research and assess your risk tolerance. Diversification is often recommended to spread risk. Prominent altcoins like Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), and Cardano (ADA) have shown resilience. However, the crypto market is volatile, so stay informed about market trends, project developments, and potential risks. Consider consulting with a financial professional before making any investment decisions.
I once focused on investing in ethereum, and it really gave me quite a big profit. So, with $20k, I'm also thinking about sticking to ethereum. Apart from that, if you want to invest in other altcoins, I also choose BNB as an investment place. Even though ADA is not my choice, I still feel that it is one of the best altcoins. For now, I might just stick with ETH and BNB.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many individual holders of Bitcoin are there? on: January 17, 2024, 05:44:40 AM
Is there some metric or study somewhere that could let us know how many individuals (individual humans) currently hold Bitcoin as an asset? Are there any metrics that could approximate the number? Estimate change over time?

I would think this would be a key metric in understanding the market.
it's too difficult to do that, because basically we don't know how many wallets each person has, how many have bitcoin, how many are given to other people, and so on. In fact, I believe that the number of wallets will continue to increase every day, and we don't know who created them, whether it is a new user, or an old user. Apart from that, we also don't know whether there is a minimum amount to be a holder or not, because people still hold bitcoin in amounts below 0.001 BTC.
199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: January 15, 2024, 10:43:19 AM
from the opinion that I responded to, it's not just comfortable and rich people who have more rights to trade, for me it's all the same, because even comfortable and rich people will be afraid of losing their money, people with a small economy tend to be more afraid taking risks that hamper the skills they have in trading, people with small economies will find it difficult to get up because the first thing they think about is losses
Yes, what makes the difference between rich and not is the capital. However, trading is not only for rich people, but for everyone who has skills in that field. In fact, I have heard of several people who became rich by trading using minimal money. Apart from that, even rich people will not always make a profit in trading. So, trading is only for people who like and are interested in trading. If they have the ability, they can turn the capital they have into a lot of money through trading.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins on: January 15, 2024, 08:49:22 AM
Probably several altcoin (including some new altcoins) will offer better returns than bitcoin, that's for sure, and the reason is that they have a way lower marketcap compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin, in my opinion, could eventually do a 3x, maybe a 4x, more than that is difficult for the current cycle. I buying and investing in some game coins, will see how it goes.
Exactly, some altcoins offer greater returns than bitcoin, however, I feel that people will choose altcoins especially new altcoins as investments but not in large amounts, because it is very risky. On the other hand, bitcoin, which until now we call the king of crypto, has a better offer than altcoins if invested in large amounts with less risk. However, bitcoin and altcoins have their respective advantages and disadvantages, however, bitcoin plays an important role in the price movements of altcoins.
