341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold Bitcoin VS Hold Gold on: June 26, 2023, 06:59:00 AM

I think if one make investment in gold then his profit will be increased double after 2 or 3 years and chances of lowering price is very low in case of gold investment.
then all you have to do is load up on gold and mortgage the house and buy more gold. after all, it's going to double in 2 or 3 years. and the chances of losing anything as you say are very small. very low.
LOL, it's not that easy. I've checked the price of gold and even rose to almost 100% in more than 10 years, that means it's a very long time, which means, if you have $ 1000 in gold, then in more than 10 years, the price will be $ 2000, and I think that is quite an advantage over time. However, gold is indeed very good as an investment that is stored for a very long time, you just need to think about how to look after it.
On the other hand, bitcoin offers faster profits, but with enormous risks. it's just that, many people prefer to use bitcoin then think about other investments when they are successful.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: June 25, 2023, 03:45:48 PM
Spare money is a good strategy for anticipating bad things, in investment there is always a chance to lose money and even scam, I have had a bad experience from Crypto investment so that I will divide money to many places and because crypto is a type of high risk investment so I only use money with a small percentage.
we can't guess what will happen to the investment we have, so the strategy of using spare money in investing is the best. besides that, this can prevent us from taking very big risks, such as loans, using main money, or other things. besides that, at the level of risk in investment, when there is a failure in the project we support, it will not directly affect the finances we have.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Luck is what you need in gambling but you have to get to work with trading on: June 25, 2023, 01:17:05 PM
well, when you don't try harder in trading, and only guess, then buy altcoins without knowing about the information about these altcoins, then you will most likely get a loss. If the price goes down, then you are lucky, but when the coin becomes a scam, then you will say that crypto is a scam.
quite a lot of people think that trading is the same as gambling. well, they baselessly say that. quite a few people are creating classes to teach others about trading and how to trade from all aspects. in fact, some people are willing to pay to get information about what they are going to trade.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: June 25, 2023, 12:27:58 PM
It cannot be denied most of people who invest on altcoins is looking for a big PUMP and the another reason is there is so many altcoins who really has the good value, good product/service thats why we interested to put our money into that.

I think as you said the answer is quite obvious its just altcoins give more opportunity to turn around the money we invested to become some massive amount at the cost of losing it.
yet many are still interested in it anyway, kinda speaks the fact that majority of people are really interested in get rich quick scheme.
well, it's all because of the money. because altcoins have a cheaper price than bitcoin, there are still many people who try to take advantage of altcoins to get short profits. In addition, there are still many people who use altcoins because of the volatile prices that these altcoins have, even coins that have become scams like Terra, and many more. However, maybe there are still quite a lot of people who are interested in altcoins because of their future functions, or because of their development, however, I think the most interesting thing is because of their fast volatility, low price, and also the huge potential to increase profits.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: June 24, 2023, 11:42:32 PM
It’s depend on many people, because some may hold for long in the bear market. The bull market will be the welcome one for them to cash out. Some people will do hold till the end of bull run to get maximum profit in the bull run.Mostly people cash out if they satisfy with the bull market pump.Others will hold until the maximum price of certain coin to rise. It’s better to hold till the new all time high.
but the goal is still to be profitable which means, we all trade when bull runs happen. however, times and conditions will vary. Personally, I might wait for the moment to get the maximum profit, but it will have a fairly high risk because as far as I know, when the bull run is over, there will be a price correction which maybe the price can go down a few percent. But, I think, a lot of people target a high price before selling their assets.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: Rent or buy real estate - let's have a debate on: June 24, 2023, 11:11:11 PM
if I have the ability to buy real estate, then I will buy it. however, when we rent land, a house, an apartment, or something that is our primary need, then the main goal we have is to own it as our own and not rent it. we know that with rentals, a certain percentage of our income will go towards paying those rents, and that will continue to happen without increasing the amount of investment we have.
On the other hand, if we have the ability to buy real estate, then we can grow further, moreover, we can also rent out the place in the future.
However, this all depends on the financial capabilities of each. if he can actually afford the thing, then he needs to buy it, and if not, then the alternative is to rent it.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin can't be robbed on: June 24, 2023, 10:42:09 PM
LOL, I'm pretty sure these people think that there is a lot of cash inside, or even some physical form of value. which means, thieves trying to take advantage of those bitcoin ATM machines don't understand how Bitcoins work. When they do that, all they get is tired, and also chase from the authorities. it must have been their worst experience ever trying to rob.
348  Economy / Economics / Re: Landed properties is the best investment on: June 23, 2023, 09:14:42 AM
not only in Nigeria, but also in other countries, land is a very important investment. Personally, since I started investing, saving and doing business, land is one of my goals. There are so many advantages of owning large land. even you can create a new business like gardening, then do export, or you make changes or apartments, and so on. besides, if the location is strategic, it can increase the selling value in a short time.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in Student Life on: June 23, 2023, 07:11:48 AM
A friend suggested Bitcoin to me about 1 year ago. I have been trying to learn the history of Bitcoin ever since. How to earn from Bitcoin, I learned that investing will make profit or loss. Success can never be achieved without risk. Then I became interested in investing in Bitcoin. My family is a very poor family. I am studying now and earning BDT 7000 per month from tuition, BDT 3000 I spend on running my household. BDT 3000 is my monthly expenses and I save BDT 1000, I save around BDT 10000 in a year and invest in Bitcoin. I will hold the investment for a long time. According to many researchers, we will soon see a bull market. Bitcoin will be over $100K in 2025

But the main thing is that bitcoin is still illegal in our country, I invested bitcoin very carefully.

Lately I think it is better to invest in bitcoins than depositing money in the bank. Day by day people have lost trust in banks. It is heard that many banks are going bankrupt and closing down.
You already have a pretty good strategy. however, I also suggest keeping a few percent of your earnings as savings. That's because we can never know what will happen to the price of bitcoin, and we don't know when it will actually go up. to minimize the risk, you should also save so you have spare cash. this is so that when you have an urgent need, you don't sell bitcoins that you have stored for a long time. However, the strategy you're implementing is good enough as a first step in investing.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Want to Trade My House for Some Bitcoins. on: June 23, 2023, 06:06:31 AM
Unnecessary risk if it's the only house you have to live and you will have to find other means to live under if you give it up.

Imo, I wouldn't ever give up basic necessities for potential profits. I'm pretty sure investment in Bitcoin at current time will yield you profits, but there are other risks including holding risk, after ledger and atomic wallet fiasco, I doubt security of wallets.
well, even when it wasn't the only home he had, it was still a bad decision. after all, people are looking to make money or pool their investment returns to buy real estate like houses, cars, or so on. However, if we sell assets for investment, it is very risky. However, it was a bad decision. it's better to keep using the money we save for investment in investing in crypto.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: June 22, 2023, 10:30:54 AM
Taking a loan to invest in cryptocurrencies is a good idea, but we must have the ability to pay, the potential for a price increase can occur in the near future because there will be a major event that occurs every 4 years, namely halving day, of course we must have the courage to buy so make our life better.
actually that's not a good idea. even for halving, the price of bitcoin is still not 100% certain that it will go up to the moon. However, going into debt for something you're not sure of is risky. it might be fine when you can repay it, but when you borrow beyond your limits, then it will become quite a predicament in the future, and it is really risky for the future of someone who does. I suggest sticking with a few percent of the salary he gets every month to invest. In fact, using the money he had at 100% was a dangerous thing, even more so when he was borrowing to invest. i've seen enough cases like that and end up with something they didn't want.
352  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 100K FOR 2024 ! on: June 22, 2023, 08:01:43 AM

65K Last year record price ever !

I think this year it might be full 100K Final bullrun for the coin.
well, for now an optimistic attitude is needed. although until now the price of bitcoin is still trying to stay at a price of $ 30k, the potential to reach $ 100k in 2024 is still possible. it's just that, it's a pretty high speculation if we see that we only have 1 more year to pass bitcoin ATH all this time. It's just that, in 2024 there will be a halving, and I hope the price will really be pushed to reach that price. For now, the main target to reach $100k is $50k, and hopefully bitcoin price can be close to ATH later this year.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small Birthday Gift - Bitcoin on: June 22, 2023, 05:49:09 AM
well, it's probably a gift that can make him learn new knowledge. as long as your girlfriend is happy about it, then i think it's a good gift. besides, you can teach your girlfriend about trading on binance. it's okay to send some bitcoins in her account even if it's a centralized exchange, because I think your girlfriend can learn to trade right away.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin become The General Currency in the Future? on: June 21, 2023, 02:00:08 PM
the potential is there, as some countries have also accepted bitcoin as a payment alternative, so i think with the development of time, bitcoin may have a chance to become a recognized currency.
It's just that, the current fact still makes bitcoin more likely to lead to investment than money. besides that, quite a lot of countries prohibit bitcoin as a payment alternative because bitcoin does not have a centralized system. Whereas we know that if the system is not centralized, it is difficult for the government to accept it, and the government has many reasons why they cannot accept the concept of decentralization.
355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better to have a trading knowledge than depending on signals. on: June 21, 2023, 01:25:04 PM
well, it's better to have knowledge about trading than to depend on signals. it's just that, depending on the signal also has a pretty good effect until now. that's why there are still so many who depend on signals compared to deep learning about trading. besides that, signals are also something that is important in learning to trade, it's just that people are sometimes lazy enough to do analysis so they are willing to buy signals where they believe in the analysis.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Is poverty a lack of money? on: June 21, 2023, 10:38:38 AM
how can you have everything you need without money? even every year from that you need to pay taxes, and how to have everything we need if we don't have money ? in general, basic necessities or things that we need will not come directly to someone's house without the effort they put in, and it is all related to money.
Personally, I see that poverty is someone who is unable to meet his own basic needs or even very lacking in meeting his personal needs in a continuous period of time. This has a lot to do with money. With money, people can meet their primary, secondary, and tertiary needs. Therefore, money is very important in overcoming this problem.

358  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: June 13, 2023, 03:40:18 AM
success in saving in the long term consistently is success in managing the income he gets. when they save the money they get consistently, it means they are successful in managing their expenses and saving some of their income. meaning, if he starts investing in crypto, the chances of them succeeding are also very high. that's because they only need to put in a few more percent of their salary to invest in crypto. for example, if so far he has managed to manage his income, such as 30% for saving, and the rest for personal needs, then 30% of the savings can be used as 20% for savings and 10% for investment, or it could be higher. I think it's pretty much the same as saving, so people who are successful at saving can also be successful at investing in crypto in the long term.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: June 12, 2023, 08:03:10 AM
and only uses the money in their pocket or wallet, but for those who have a small income, of course this will never be achieved, many people work 1 month and enough even less for one month's needs so the plan to take a loan to invest in bitcoin is a good idea.
Taking a loan to invest in Bitcoin may not be a good idea for small-income people if there's no guarantee of paying the loan without any issues but there's power to pay the loan I also don't see anything wrong in a taking loan and investing it in Bitcoin.

It entirely depends on the investor and how would he or she assess his situation because I know there are some people/investors who have done it successfully as long as they have completely done their own research in their selected field of investments or specific coin in the world of cryptocurrency, but it is not really advisable especially for beginners because this is an unknown waters that even the experts are still having a hard time.
well, good or not it all depends on the prospective investor. however, in general, such methods are not recommended. it is said to be too risky, especially if the analysis and strategy for buying bitcoins are not right. this can actually be done when he is really sure he can pay the loan without the bitcoins he bought. the point is, he can repay the loan with his work. however, I think it would be better if it was the last option exercised if he really believed that bitcoin price would increase anytime soon.
360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gambling is different from trading on: June 12, 2023, 05:59:00 AM
Trading and gambling have a lot in common but they are different from each other. But for me trading is much better than gambling, I trade but I never gamble.

Despite the similarity at first sight, trading is different and much better. First, you can only risk the money that you can afford to lose. Second, if the price of the coin falls, you can wait as long as you want for the coin to rise again and compensate for your loss.

But gambling is either a win or a loss, in addition to being addictive which can lead to the loss of all capital and even the sale of personal property.
well, other than that, betting in gambling doesn't leave anything if you lose, then everything will be lost, and if you win, then you will get what you risked. very different from trading, when you do the wrong analysis, the assets you have remain the same, but their value will decrease. After all, one might think that trading and gambling are similar, but if they did a deeper analysis, they would find a big difference.
