Horribly inaccurate and given the swings (mainly one way) in USD to every other currency, even less accurate. Actual industrial rates, the ones that matter, aren't represented on there for most countries. Agreed. Wiki also doesn't take different states / provinces into account. It's a start, but you need to do more research if you have an actual project on hand.

It's not normal that you have to sync the whole blockchain at every start up. By restarting the PC you probably corrupted it. Once everything is back to fully synced your bitcoins will be back as well. In the future don't shut down / restart your PC whilst the program is running and wait for the grey info box to disappear when you close the program before shutting down.

A couple of suggestions:
- Can we get a "reading confirmation" of sorts once a chat is going. Maybe a tick, similar to Whatsapp, if you're familiar with that app.
- Make the trade history sortable by date, asc. and desc.

I've just got a brand new Android phone, so of course the first app I installed was Mycelium. I started with a fresh, new wallet.
However, I also still had an old Mycelium wallet on my previous phone (which is now broken). I have the 12 word seed. Is there any other, perhaps temporary wallet (preferably online) where I can import the seed for my old Mycelium version, so I can send the remaining bitcoins from there to my new wallet?
Some info in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=909238.0

Wow much respect for johoe.
He should be hired as a professional tester by BTC hardware wallet companies.
Just curious what Johoe himself uses to store his bitcoins? Hardware wallet? Air-gapped machine? Multisig?
He mentions it at the bottom of his report: I own two TREZORs myself (one for storing my savings and one for hacks like this) and I am still thinking hardware wallets are the best way to protect against most attack vectors.

I always feel uneasy to connect a device with private key directly to an untrusted online computer I hope something like a audio modem could be implemented but seems it's too slow to be practically used? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=135423.0It is already implemented in Electrum, just not easy to setup and use... Be it slow or fast it seems a nice and secure idea, I think... Any wallet software that has offline signing functionality will work using software like minimodem. An example using Armory: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735111.0How fast it works depends on your tx size. I agree slow don't matter much in this case, as security should be our main concern.

I flipped my fan and eventually got melted connectors. Ambient temperature is pretty high at that location though.
Thanks for sharing this, Newar! How hard were you pushing your SP20 in terms of voltage/power/fan settings? The only limit I had in place was max. 250 Watt instead of 288 Watt. IIRC, 250 is offcial Molex spec limit, but Spondoolies were told 288 is ok by their supplier (this info I found in one of the threads, but don't have a link handy). Considering the temps at that location I went with the official spec. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the top connector in the centre of the grille got the worst of it. Got to love basic physics! Maybe to flip the unit so the connectors are on the bottom would be something to consider.

wtf? Until now I had impression, that everybody in US had almost free electricity. ~0.18 is Europe rate.. It differs by state. Same as in many other countries. It is not "free" to transport cheap electricity from Washington state to California for example.

If they could manage to do a low priced version of one if these that would be interesting. I could see people going in together to buy and splitting cost. But it has to be a practical cost. If it cost's to much it would lose all the benefit of cheap electricity.
The main cost is the container. If I'm not mistaken a used 20ft-er can be had from about 6k USD. The rest depends on how much time you can invest in doing it yourself and your skillset. I'm glad to see that this project seems to move forward!

Works very well for me as well.
Minor things (Chromium): When adding a new torrent, the info bar shows 100% right away. Also, can you make the "URL to check back later" text and link a bit bigger? Lastly can you make the logo a link to the home page?
