Now all operations makes on Forkdelta, its the same as etherdelta but more fast and comfortable! also you can enter with the same keys and you will see all your tokens from etherdelta on forkdelta!

Yep, ForkDelta looks better now, but I wonder why the hell it takes so long for ED to resolve their issues?
They announced it several days ago https://twitter.com/EtherDelta/status/964202872551305216 and nothing happend

I read all 30 pages of the topic and I can not understand those people who are advised to use social networks and services like Twitter and Instagram for additional identification. Someone says, let's take in the community only those who have 300+ subscribers on Twitter. There are many people who do not use Twitter. Many do not like facebook, but that does not not make them unworthy to participate. Equality, you must remember this.

I am more concerned with the issue of trust. I'll tell you right away, I'm not accusing anyone. The second round of filtering by community voting is of course great. But I ask the development team to look very carefully for this round. I think that most of the community members with ranks above Sr. Member is familiar with each other. And one can not exclude such a situation that they can secretly unite and simply remove from the community people with ranks less by a simple vote if the filtered participants after the first round will be more than 1000. Moreover, an additional reward is expected for this. You can say that I have a mania of conspiracies, I will not be offended  Wink

The idea of additional verification with social accounts is a nonsense, so I really doubt it will be used.
I'd be really surprised if it gained support of Nevra team.

How is TEZOS doing now? I see news that the Breitmans will launch the project soon, despite the legal charges.

Gevers is out, so looks like they're good to go now.

Don't bother other people by posting shit into main thread there is dedicated bounty thread you should post this into relevant topic.

Etherdelta is not functional at the moment and nobody can sell his token until this ICO get finished.

You can try with ForkDelta (https://forkdelta.github.io) - it's a project forked from EtherDelta, and works on ED assets.
Obviously, you should do your own research before using it.

186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: February 23, 2018, 08:12:58 AM
Wee secret tip for you all Grin, over at 0xchange you can sell at 0.15000000 per DASH!  Huh Huh

Didn't believe it myself either till I tried and have made over 450% profit and then bought more Dash  Wink! Also got a nice 0.01BTC bonus for being a new user!

https://0xchange.com/market/dash-btc

Nice bait, but I hope people won't believe those are real orders.
2.5x of the regular market price looks like obvious spoofing.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: February 21, 2018, 04:33:57 PM
Regular users will likely want to dump immediately after listing to an exchange, and avoid this token in the future.
Regular users, what are those? Wink

Well, I think it's the opposite. There is so much potential and limited risk. People throw their money at real shitcoins without spending a single thought on the background. So yes, this is the opportunity to get in. And if it fails, heck, buy another shitcoin Smiley

The only thing that bothers me is HitBTC as exchange. I would like to get the XTZ out of there, but to where?

Well, your risk assessment is quite different than mine.
For me Tezos is in risk of endless war for money. At the time of their ICO BTC was at less than 3k USD, and now it's 11k, so instead of $250M there's now over $900M at stake, and even more incentives for such a nice piece of cake  Grin
For start we will be on 10 ROI (BTC, not USD) so number 6 on marketcap.
No. 3/4 we will see in 6months

That would be great for the holders, and it will be interesting to watch how the market is going to evaluate all of it.

189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: February 21, 2018, 06:56:07 AM
I thought today went well and was very professionally done.

I love the new logo and icon. Much better...more sleek and modern. Hiring the branding expert (the first presenter after Max) was a stroke of genius.

Now they just have to alpha test Core 1.0 and hopefully it is viable after the 4-6 week period they spoke of...and then SDK.

The website looks so much more professional. Everything is a step up.

As far as the price action, I think some were betting this would go off badly, others were just whales going to BTC or LTC...as they have been surging.

Remember, in business until a product is in BETA traders hedge their bets it will fail...give it a few days, I think this year is going to be big for LISK despite my concerns expressed earlier on how slow they have been. Now that I know they have PR and branding people in their ears...I expect them to know the effect delays have on the value of their project.

Looks like the price action is typical to "buy rumors, sell facts" scheme.
Anyway, re-branding doesn't change too much in the tech, but hopefully sdk and other components will follow.
If only they did something with that stupid DPoS   Huh
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XES] PROXEUS on: February 20, 2018, 05:53:07 PM
We had it as PDF on the site but then we found it on some scammers site - that's why we had to change that. PM me your email-address and I will gladly send it to you. Sadly you cannot publish anything publicly anymore without having a risk that it will be used to rip off people.
We didn't have any "free tokens" for the team and the founders - however a bout 8-10% (don't shoot me if I am a bit off here - this is from memory) of the total supply are held by the factory for employee and advisory board incentives. These bonuses will be connected to a vesting schedule. We really just want people to get tokens who really are working on the project - and this does not only apply to the factory. Almost 30% of the total supply held by the project board are reserved to activate the community and push projects.
About the structure: Back when we started the project there was a lot on insecurities about how the whole ICO-space would evolve in Switzerland and we chose the safest route for the project. The structure in Liechtenstein with a factory in Switzerland enabled us to have the best of both worlds. I feel confident that we have a good composition for our board and that we will not have any trouble on that front. Would I be able to go back in time I would have a look at Singapore or Switzerland as "home" for the projects. The situation is a lot clearer now that the FINMA came forward with some guidelines.

Thank you for the answers. I guess someone used a copy and created a fake site - was it the scam attempt you're talking about?
I'd re-consider publishing the PDF anyway. Even with locked google document they will find a way to copy your content.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XES] PROXEUS on: February 20, 2018, 11:52:41 AM
PROXEUS

Using our token you will be able to:
  • use workflows, documents and IP that has been produced by members of the community
  • store the documents off-chain with storage providers that accept XES
  • have the stored documents notarized on the blockchain
  • build your own blockchain-based applications without having to code - without having to change your existing, paper-based workflows

May I ask: What is IP short for?
The abbreviation of IP is Internet Protocol.
understanding of this IP is a data communication standard used by the Internet community in the process of exchanging data from one computer to another computer in the Internet network. This protocol can not stand alone, because it is a protocol suite. This protocol is also the most widely used protocol today.

The TCP / IP protocol was developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s as a standard protocol for connecting computers and networks to form a wide network (WAN)

*source from internet

It can be Internet Protocol too, but it's "Intellectual Property" in this case as explained by OP here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2903956.msg29868626#msg29868626.

Also, to OP: could you please publish your white paper as PDF?
I can't quote anything from there since it's locked, and I have few questions:
-how much of 43% pre-sale was acquired by early employees and the Factory. Did they pay for the tokens, or received them for free?
-the project split in 2 entities (Lichtenstein and Schweiz) reminds me Tezos - do you feel comfortable with such structure? No legal or loyalty issues?
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: February 20, 2018, 09:20:33 AM
well its the big day today. I wonder if the price is already factored in to the announcement today or will we see a spike tonight.

I've not been following Lisk recently - can you point me to the source of the big news for today?
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Airdrop] Nevra (XEV) - Equality, Freedom, Trust on: February 20, 2018, 08:58:28 AM
I like the idea of a fair airdrop but allow me to be a bit critical. The fact that someone goes through my thought process and decides if it is "adequate" for inclusion means that the poor uneducated third world friends are totally excluded. If it comes down to this then maybe an iq test or bachelor degree should be stated as a requirement. Otherwise if everybody is included then some other proof like KYC/ID, email + social profile or something else should suffice to ensure people do not abuse the airdrop.

I am not saying it's bad and I would like to be a stakeholder because as a hero member from 2011 I am very interested in new developments in the space.

Good luck

Your idea could be right, but nothing is perfect in this world and this kind of distribution is so much transparent than many others....

I think mentioning kyc is taking it a few steps too far to be honest (I would never give someone on here my personal information no matter how good a project looks).

Just read through the thread a bit, seems like the dev already has a good grasp of how things should or shouldn't be done. Interested to see what this will develop into.

This^

KYC is a non-go for me too. Although I took part in KYCed ICO once, I consider it now a big mistake and would never do it again.
Personal information is just so valuable to black hats nowadays, that one should never disclose it.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: February 20, 2018, 08:48:01 AM

I missed that nws actually, thanks.
It's been a long wait, hope and I believe it'll worth. I have no intention to sell though Cheesy

Nothing changes actually, and Tezos story definitely won't end with that event. There's too much money at stake, so the parties involved will fight to death in order to maintain power.
Tezos Foundation is still holding the funds, and the Breitmans would need to finance the development with their own money.

Do you think Tezos foundation still can resist not to give money if there is product?
If they do how long they can be stay legal in Switzerland?

Quote from their agreement

Quote
DLS has taken proactive steps to limit the Foundation’s risk in this acquisition, specifically:

-The Tezos blockchain must launch and operate successfully as a public blockchain for a period of three months before DLS’ shareholders can receive any compensation for their shares.
-It must work substantially as described in our white paper and technical papers and be consistent with the features described to the community prior to the fundraiser.

Only at this point, and not before, DLS shareholders may exercise the right to receive payment for their shares.

The 2nd point can be easily questioned in court - look at the wording "substantially" or "features described to the community" - they are so imprecise.

With your second question, do you mean the Foundation could become illegal if they didn't pay? Well, I doubt it, but I'm not lawyer, and I don't know Swiss law

196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][BOUNTY] eCoinomic Episode One. Loans: hedge crypto - get money! on: February 16, 2018, 01:29:18 PM
Hi tomkat, thanks for your questions.

Quote
If a user defaults, how are you going to recoup the rest of the amount due?
For instance, from a guy from China that is not going to pay back loan for his brand new miners

In this event, the crypto collateral of the user will be partially liquidated via the rules of smart contract =>sold on the exchange to repay the loan amount.
The more detailed explanation of this case can be found on page 16 of the WP https://ecoinomic.net/docs/eCoinomic_WP_0213.pdf

Quote
How exactly, the smart contract enforces the fulfillment of loan obligations?

The smart contract monitors current quotes on several exchanges, which allows an objective assessment of the current rate of crypto assets.
For more information on the inner workings of smart contract please consult page 15 of the WP

Quote
What if collateral (I guess it can be locked crypto assets) will drop significantly overnight?

In case if the current rate of crypto assets decreases by more than 10% of the valuation amount, the system alerts the client who can:
-Deposit additional funds or crypto assets to cover the difference between the value of collateral and the amount of the loan;
-Agree to the partial liquidation of collateral to repay the loan;
-Close credit line

Quote
And also, are you going to perform your own KYC/AML or use external service?
We plan KYC and AML procedures for large ICO investors using external service.

Please let us know if you have more questions

Thank you for the answers.

My main concern is extreme volatility of crypto. It's possible the market of collateral asset starts dropping by let's say 40-50% in minutes, and then rebounds immediately (due to market manipulation, automated trading, fake news for the asset, etc...). I guess the smart contract will have no choice and will start selling too, won't it? This can potentially liquidate a healthy position just because of the sudden market noise. Or else, if the market isn't liquid enough your smart contract can actually intensify the sell off.

Newbie and Jr. Members will have to acquire at least 1 merit from another SR-Member or higher on the thread to be eligible for 1 NevraStake...

Well, that takes me out of the running for the moment -- it's really out of a poster's control whether or not they get a Merit.  Smiley  But in any case, I still support the ideas here, and hope Nevra/XEV succeeds.

Whether someone gives you merit is out of your control. However, the quality of the content you post is under your control. While your response is half right, you neglect the fact that if you add something interesting or valuable to the conversation multiple times, you will eventually get merited. Post more than 2 sentences on your thoughts of this currency next time and you will be a lot more likely to receive merit. Smiley

You're right that your content is totally under your control, but I think the new merit system will probably create forum factions of users who merit within their small social circles, and obviously we'll have merits black market.

People can clearly see the issues with this idea - look here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.msg30389389#msg30389389

but maybe it just needs time for users to get used to it - maybe...

Also, look at the quote from merit page - what does it mean? That if you won't be giving out your sMerits, you can be punished and deprived of them
Quote
There is no point in hoarding sMerit; keeping it yourself does not benefit you, and we reserve the right to decay unused sMerit in the future.

And last but not least - look at the posts of one of the top-merited users   Grin

The valuation of the collateral can vary from 50 to 70% depending on the type of asset, user rating and application of the loyalty program.

eCoinomic smart contracts enforce the fulfillment of loan obligations and thereby protect the investments for the owners of both collateralized crypto assets and fiat funds.

Don't get it wrong guys, but BTX performance is driven solely by the weekly aidrops, and you should be really careful after it's all completed. If there's no major exchange before the end of airdrops, then we'll probably see a massive dump that won't be absorbed on the few small exchanges on which BTX is listed now. Look at market depth on cryptopia - it's ca. 20k on a buy side all the way down to 3k sat - it's just a dust.

It seems that the developers remain silent on the development of the project. Maybe they have some kind of plan about which we do not know. The presence of any news could significantly revive the project. Developers hear us!

go slack channel, dev is handing out abuse there on a daily basis....between that and working they are too busy to post here Smiley

Ok, I finally decided to check that mythical slack channel to get some updates, but what I've seen there is .... just plain nothing   Shocked
So, to those who constantly advice to check slack for updates - don't create impression that there're lots of updates since there's nothing special going on there.
EK isn't that active too - he's just posting not-so-important stuff from time to time.

Or maybe since the last update he has given he is still working on the same things? What update do you expect? A daily "I am still working on coding the computation engine".

Yeah yeah right, you know, I don't expect anything anymore, just please don't redirect those poor users to slack for updates while there're no updates available there.
