It's a nice idea however I feel you're creating a solution in search of a problem.

This coin appears to be a litecoin clone - what plans do you have? Or what innovation do you feel this brings? Basing a coins value on specific geographical pandering does not mean it's valuable and/or useful.

Hey optiminer, do you have any plans to create a 4GB nvidia version? Just curious, not here to badger about it. I'll just buy Zero instead if not I could release a 6GB version for nvidia. Would that help? The problem with a 4GB version is that it would be much slower. You can see this in the AMD version, the 4GB version runs about at half the speed. Yes I understand.. so really the solution is to upgrade my GPUs however I just don't want to do that right now because of cost. I am working with two GTX 970s so unfortunately 4GB would be my only option I do appreciate your quick reply!

Question: Is Optiminer AMD only? I have two GTX 970s and I can't seem to get it running. Using zero_nheqminer right now
no for both amd and nvidia nheq is for cpu Thanks - I see version 1.2 supports it. Is there a download link for optiminer 1.2 for 4GB card for Windows? I only see the 8GB version and my cards don't have enough memory for that. From what I can see there is no 4GB nVidia support - only 8GB version yes sure https://github.com/Optiminer/OptiminerZerodownload 1.1 is more as enough ! Yes I see that - the problem is this. Directly from Github "Important: There are different versions for GPUs with 4GB and 8GB of RAM! If you have a card with only 4GB download the other version (1.1.0). 4GB is for AMD only!" So the current 1.2 version supports nvidia but only 8GB (unless I'm wrong) the other version 1.1 supports 4GB cards but is AMD only. I am looking for a 1.2 version for 4GB nvidia cards for windows. but I'd rather recommend the linux version runs much better! install ubuntu then install the nvidia driver and that was all automatic wait, it can be that the linux version is also for amd. Why don't you talk to optiminer in the slack channel? I believe it runs better but I can't do that - this is my main rig. Needs to stay on Win10. Guess I'm shit out of luck and will just have to buy more ZER ask optiminer for a 4gb windows nvidia version. I would but I doubt he'll code one for one person. If it was easy for him to do he probably would have made a 4GB version for nvidia. There must a be a technical reason why there isn't but I don't develop miners so I can't comment on that.

Getting pretty excited for the update release. Planning to run a few mns myself

Please don't attack Dredd with negative responses but has anyone else received their signature campaign payout yet? I know it's supposed to come in waves for three months I just wanted to know if any other sig campaign participants actually received payment yet.

I agree.
Terracoin is an old project that has been very well taken in hand!
Development is serious and the community grows every day. The implantation of masternodes and a system of governance will be very interesting for the future.
This is a project that may look like DECRED, if the terracoin team continues like this!
The potential is there!
You mean the Terracoin site? Should go to terracoin.io

I'm probably beating a dead horse in a sense here but you guys should really add Terracoin to your exchange. It's more worthy than quite a few other coins you still have floating around.
They're on the verge of releasing the biggest update in the coins history!

Anyone else with input or is everyone just standing by to wait and see what happens?

Are there really people here complaining about the mn cost decrease? I think it's great. Who doesn't want more affordable nodes. If you can't afford a vps for a few dollars a month you probably shouldn't be dabbling in crypto investments anyway and should look to find a better day job.
I also saw some people complaining that they already bought 10k trc. Great! Run 2 mns. Or sell your other 5k. I'll buy it.
Will these same people complaining about the cost decrease be complaining when they're trying to set one up and purchase coins with trc at $1+?
To the person who said the mn's should be pegged at a regular $ price. That would create one hell of a problem any time the price fluxes and I don't even think that it's possible to code such a thing.
Get 'em while they're cheap or regret it later.
my 2 cents.

This coin has been around for ages and used to sell for absolutely nothing a year ago.. If you have some, hold onto them. I wasn't aware of the Masternodes. Any idea of how many are going to be needed? It's great they're bringing this project back from the dead.
Looks like their team reduced the mn collateral requirement to 5,000TRC.

Can someone post the slack invite link and maybe add it to OP as well?

10,000 coins for the MN. I've been trying to find a Slack invite link, is there one? I like Slack over Telegram. Stumbled upon this coin while searching through Cryptopia/ Read through the ANN. An old school coin . . . solid . . . now implementing MN's? I see only good can come from this. Might be picking some up. I'm going to ask now about the slack invite on the main thread. I was wondering the same thing. Edit: clockuniverse posted the new invite link here: https://join.slack.com/t/terracoin/shared_invite/MjE1NTE2MTMwMjI3LTE1MDA1NzgxNjMtOGQwMzdlZWI1Yw
