Some of the overly entitled demands being made are just ridiculous.  I took a hit as well and I still have nothing but confidence.  In fact, thanks for making it easier for me to get more XC Inc ITO shares.

So tired of the otherwise invested people coming in here and just being complete wads about every small little detail.  I have read every page and I still see no reason why XC deserves all of this.

Every crypto has had issues due to low volume (which keeps getting smaller thanks to exchange hacks) and the pervasive crypto mentality that "if you don't deliver an artificial intelligence that will make you sandwiches while you're going to the moo0n then you're a scam".

I'm tired of the people who cry at everything in this thread...my goodness.

speaking of the XC Inc. ITO, it will be based on the amount of XC you hold correct?

Yes you will be able to receive shares based on the amount of XC you hold, granted we need to define some parameters around this
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: October 30, 2014, 08:51:26 PM
You cant claim you are funding a project out of your own pocket and then fund the project with a coins premine. No amount of wordplay or anything else will change any of this.

No such claim was made.

We claimed to have part-funded the project with the premine. Read the statement earlier.

What you attribute to wordplay on our part is, in fact, lack of comprehension on your part.

(Do you understand why 95% of your posts get deleted? You pay scant attention to the facts of a matter.)

It is written in the reddit thread that the premine will be managed in a transparent way.
Will a list be released that shows what for the premine was exactly used at least in grouped amounts?

Yes this will be done
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: October 30, 2014, 08:50:08 PM
I know this has been discussed already, but I wish XC came along when i was a more experienced investor. I got caught bagholding and I am at a loss but Ive been lucky to get in on some good pumps and make up for the loss. I still have high hopes for XC and plan to hold onto it now. I was stupid and put 90% of my investment into XC and have lost more than 60% ATM, but my 10% that I have placed into day trading has almost made up for my loss here.

I have accepted the fact that XC is a long term investment, the price now does not reflect its true value and will not for several months it seems. Considering REV 3 will be our biggest milestone yet, I am excited to see the outcome. I think people that are buying XC now are smart because they know they will be able to make some good profit during the REV 3 release.

Generally I don't comment on the price as I have always felt that the project, technology, and commitment by the team would be reflected in the market in the long run

But I am just as "disappointed" with the current price as everybody else is.  However that has zero impact on whats coming in the days, and months ahead.  The goal has always been to embrace the B2B and the B2C markets, and Mobile w/ Point of Sales as a primary driving factor.

I am a firm believer in the power of decentralized blockchain based technology and I am committed in taking XC to the next level.  Clearly monetizing the nodes with blockchain 2.0 technology is the future and bridging existing markets with this technology is the key to success.

You promised open accounting of funds and your PR guy is saying he isnt sure if he wants people to know he is being paid?
No, I'm saying I'm not sure I'm comfortable with people knowing the *amount*. I'm quite comfortable with people knowing *that* I'm employed.

why ?

Everyone knows what a PR guy should be paid (industry standard), so unless your embarrassed by the amount in some way, just state it.

I don't agree with asking Arlyn how much he makes.

Dan - are you and the team considering attending any upcoming cryptocurrency conferences?
I'm sure promoting XC and Blocknet is a priority for 2015.
I know you guys attended one awhile back. Just wondering if that will be happening again.
Keep up the solid work.
Thanks.

Nothing tentatively scheduled yet but yes it is a good possibility
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: October 30, 2014, 08:15:49 PM
I think it would help calm the waters if we could have a statement of how Dan's development time will be affected by his second project - the Blocknet.

Up until now it seems like Dan has been putting 100% of his working week into XC.

How is that now going to change. 50% of his time into XC, 50% into Blocknet? 20% XC, 80% Blocknet.?

In the Blocknet topic, Blocknet is described as being backed by Dan.

^ Could someone on the XC team please answer this. It's clear the Blocknet is taking up time from both Synechist and Dan and I believe this is one reason why XC has tanked badly.

And to the people FUD-ing non-stop, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Unicornfarts and wooder being two obvious ones.

I've honestly NEVER seen any crypto hit with so much FUD.

I'm just sleeping less, so the amount of time really isn't going to change as I have brought on additional resources specifically for blocknet

You can delete my posts all you want but being that the guy in charge here is the same guy who just proved he cant be trusted, it is relevant to this coin or token or whatever it is.
'

Trusted? Really - I used it to run this project - the proof is in the puddy and I did nothing wrong or un-ethical with the premine.  So stop spreading FUD

its not FUD, fud is bullshit and most likely manipulation to gain something. when you tell people you will be transparent about the premine and then spend it. all of it. and not tell your community you lose the right to call yourself transparent. That's not FUD, those are facts. There's a big difference. You can't cover up every fact that has occured by calling it fud. that isn't ethical, honest or even something that people do unless their goal is to mislead.

It has been stated numerous times in the thread that the premine was being used to fund this project, and the address containing the premine was public.  And it was also stated that I was funding core development out of my own pocket. There is nothing to cover up, your twisting the situation to suit your own view point and creating FUD

189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: October 30, 2014, 08:02:40 PM
- Specifically, XC's funding comes from Dan's corporation, which has pioneered IP over RF in marine environments.

If you want to bring up Dan's corporation in an official statement and mention that it funds XC development then there should not be a problem naming that corporation, right?  If XC is official as the name suggests and everything is legit then transparency shouldn't be an issue.

Clear information helps investors make sound decisions.

It's ATC Corp.

Was it incorporated in MA.?

Yes it was

I've discovered an ATC Corp. and ATC Corporation in MA, both dissolved in the 80s.  I can provide those links to show I am not fudding if needed.  Any further search suggestions?

Seeing how I was in high school then, those are not relevant entities

So we just assume this after he's dumped his entire premine that he's also spending a lot of personal money and take his word that he's buying in personally?  When the only thing we can verify has been sold?

for the record the premine was never dumped, it was distributed as Arlyn indicated

I've posted an updated wallet for testing on testnet, includes the latest group chat code and most of the stealth address code [stealth is not fully enabled in this release]

Download available at >>>> http://downloads.xc-official.com/testing/windows/xc-testnet.zip          ---- password is "xc" no quotes

* Remeber this is for "testnet" only, please launch with the included batch file as it contains the testnet node information
* Group chat works, most of the bugs have been resolved, but we'll use this release to identify any more
* Working Stealth address's will be released tomorrow

Mobile Wallet Update
* Based on the feedback, an updated release is coming with improved QR handling/camera auto-focus support

I keep getting the error message "Invalid address2::". What's up with that??

you need to click on the blocknet icon so that it says "output coin : blocknetshares"
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: October 29, 2014, 02:00:56 PM
Anyone having problems exchanging XC to Blocknet shares?

I keep getting a blocknet address problem on Coingateway site.

I didn't have any issues.  Check the blocknet thread, they have a solution if you are getting the "invalid address" error.

Forget to click on the blocknet icon, doh!

WTF - I just had invoice underpaid at coin gateway - do you just transfer the amount you ask for or do you have to add something - fuck. They
have my xc now.

contact them and provide the address's and they will take care of it

Hello guys!

Can i still buy Blocknet share using xcurrency?

Thanks.

Yes but not for long, coingateway has sold almost 500btc worth of blocknet

Raising 210.000 $ in almost 4 hours, not bad!

All haters / fuders are quite now. Around 1600 BTC to go!
Whoever is investing BTC is instantly losing 10% as there are dumpers willing to sell it at 10% discount and exit their baghold position.

I think you would be better served ejected from the forum. You have been nothing but negative comments.

Did I say something what is not true? I myself was considering investing, however after seeing this exit channel for participating currency bagholders I am sure that there is no point to invest.

There is a 5% cap for each coin based on marketcap to limit the "exit channel" potential
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] The internet of blockchains / XBridge / true cross-chain P2P on: October 29, 2014, 01:29:35 PM
Seems interesting but worried why a reputable guy like Metcalf would let in a bunch of greasy scammers like the Bitswift people.  Very few of the coins on here barring Xcurrency give me much or even any confidence.  Librex seems heading for the exit in particular. What happens when a crapcoin (Fiber, let's say) dies off.  Does the blocknet loose those services right away or do those services just get more and more erratic as the shitcoin's network goes dim? I could imagine, for example, had this project gone live a few months ago Guerillacoin and Voot would have been members.  We've seen what's happened with those two.

Ultimately if a dev can't deliver and the coin is heading for the exit as you say creating an un-stable network, then it would be removed from blocknet.  Services through blocknet will need to meet a minimum SLA otherwise it has little to no value.
