assuming this is normal

"Warning: error reading wallet.dat! All keys read correctly, but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect."

and after that it stops working

Is your wallet from the 2.0 version? if it from 1.0 it will not be accepted. post the last bits of your debug log.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NoirShares UPDATE REQUIRED Advanced Features✔, Unique PoW✔ on: September 23, 2014, 06:40:30 PM
I'm noticing that some transactions are being rejected, this is due to changes i made concerning dynamic wallets and minimum tx fees. I am working on it, not to worry...guess that break is a bit further down the line.

A stable 2.0 chain (and Linux/Windows clients) are most important at this point. Thanks for discovering it.

Please starve off any new features until we have that at least.

I wont be adding a single feature more until the current ones are fully working. I've discovered that the issue is related to change addresses and am trying to fix it.

I wish i had someone else dealing with small issues like making buttons and text more visible, lots of complaints about that in my inbox

I'm connected but when I try unlocking for minting only I continue to get errors in this format:

Let's assume my passphrase is "one two three four". This is what I type and the errors I get:

walletpassphrase "one two three four" 999999 true

walletpassphrase <passphrase> <timeout> [mintonly]
Stores the wallet decryption key in memory for <timeout> seconds.
mintonly is optional true/false allowing only block minting. (code -1)

walletpassphrase "one two three four" 999999 TRUE

Error: Error parsing JSON:TRUE

What am I doing wrong here?

I've never used that feature. I'll look into it. But you can mine and transact right?
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Notice:: PROJECT X, Come Join the Movement on: September 23, 2014, 03:46:17 PM
How about  I fork this and make one without the premine, what do you say to that? I agree, 1% could potentially be a lot.

remember this:-

I'm gonna fork and relaunch this, anyone got a node i can use?

But i didnt do it did I? Such an old post.

1% is only a lot if this coin has low, or no interest at all.

Hey guys, give him a time, he's alone and I dont think he is a cyborg or has superpower..

barwizi how many time do you need to compile a new working wallet?

I'm working on it. Maybe two or three hours.

I have fixed the GUI for voting as well.

Only small issues remaining.

that's good  Smiley but plz dont upload it with Google drive because we have troubles with it, use another service.
Thx

Are you connected with the new wallet?
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NoirShares Encrypted Messaging✔, Lotto✔, Advanced Features ✔ Unique PoW✔ on: September 23, 2014, 03:27:59 PM
EVERYONE STOP! For now please don't run your wallets. I'm sorry to say i am resetting the chain to block 0.

The grant database is causing crashes because of the reduced amount clashing with those still adamantly using the very first wallet i released. Also there seems to be an issue with transactions that i am trying to deal with now.

So we are going to start from the beginning. There will be no more major changes for a while, and i will lay out the changes here later.

The new client starting afresh, (i promise this wont happen again) will be available within the hour. All genesis balances are preserved.

Lol, I asked you the first time alpha came out if the mining would be permanent or could be deleted (reset blockchain). You did not answer the 3 times I asked. I guess people were thinking this would be permanent!
And now on your own you decide to throw away all the mining power people have put in, because your programming sucks.
What if NRS 2.0 would have been on the exchanges already?

Shall i quit and stop completely since i am so incompetent? I remember telling people that this is alpha code , which means it's got issues, and i tried to maintain their balances, but now we've reached a point where it just cant be.

So from now on you take over, since i am clearly not good enough a coder for your tastes.
I have problems with your actions, which don't show your competence. So if you are competent, then show us. I won't be too proud to applaud you if you show me being wrong.
I am not a coder. But I can read code to a certain extent and I have people available that can read the bits I can't.

Since you can read code to an extent...how many coins have this many moving parts outside of the basic bitcoin code?

Let's see there's PoS, Lotto, Voting , Encrypted Messaging and the Receipting functions,  Dynamic loading/unloading of wallets, two RNGs and a one of a kind PoW algorithm that is entwined with one of the RNGs.

If you want finished off-the-shelf software, wait until bitcoin goes from versions 0.9.*** to version 1.0.

I am dealing with all this code while also answering your questions, and doing research to try and  get an equitable accounting, how about giving me a sip of that super juice, because to maintain all that is just not possible let alone with me at my day job.
promised functionality: 7 months
promised accounting: 3 months
you are the one delaying. Not me. Anyway, I will stop this conversation for now, because I don't want to annoy people. BTW syscoin had a lot of problems and had build a lot of functionality too in their wallet. So complexity might be a problem indeed.

Your time frames are wring NRS was launched in February but any development plans started much later. Most real innovation for now is based on manipulation of transactions, and that is where things like lotto come from, i am reading up more and more on what can be done. Maybe we'll add something in this wallet or in the next sharebase.

For now i just need someone to confirm they are connected and mining, then i will take a break.

I think you are just trying to make a sensation, if you were honestly looking for answers you would stay on track, we are still dealing with the actual amount put in , then once that is done we will move on to each issue in turn. Throwing up numbers like that serves no purpose except to try give credibilty to something you have not even proven yet.

So you presume I am not honestly looking for answers after I have put in around 5 hours work yesterday and today, trying to find out if the information given was correct?
I have even given you the benefit of the doubt for 7 BTC yesterday, but you were telling Chocobo his figures were not right. So I stepped in and did some calculations based on ALL the information.
It is not only you who decides how the investigation is going Barwizi. I react on your postings. I am still missing the receipt for the taxes. You still did not account for a lot of things and are trying to avoid conversation about them every time. Like I said before: if you want to be cleared from the accusations, you need to be open about your expenses for the GF. As the CEO, you are responsible in case other officers are not around.

do you have skype so we can have a more fluid conversation, then you can post what we find here? I am not avoiding anything and i keep telling you lets do one thing at a time. why do you insist on doing a lot of things at the same time?  I made us start from the beggining with reason, that way, we can make sure nothing slips by us. trying to do every thing at once will lead to miscalculations and maybe we'll completely miss some importnat stuff.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Notice:: PROJECT X, Come Join the Movement on: September 23, 2014, 10:33:39 AM
Also you never even considered the option I came up with that has zero security issues and is effectively fool proof as you can't fake a sig, all you can do is try to take something that some has signed before and pass it off as your own but if the message is randomly generated you can't fake it
Quote
You could have a script where you give your address you want to redeem and then it asks for a random message to be signed within like lets say 5 minutes and if that signature can be verified correctly then you just send the correctly allocated funds to their payout account that the user specifies, problem solved.
Furthermore you shouldn't control unclaimed coins that is just dumb, if anything you should only get 1% of all claimed coins and even that is far far too much. Also it isn't owning 1% of your idea, your idea is to join all the coins under one platform, thats called an exchange... you didn't come up with anything. If people really wanted to get all their coins into one wallet they could just trade them for the coin they wanted to have...

That takes care of Ownership but how does it deal with calculating the coins due for that account?

You keep solving one problem at the expense of the other so excuse me, it looks like that is just dumb.

Quote
thats called an exchange

Please explain how in any way this is an exchange?

Quote

People are free to participate or not, i see no rule on this forum that says you must always have a piece of every coin. If they are uninterested, they will simply not claim their share.

No, the NRS price I got was straight from Logans document. There was not ONE day that NRS was at .00004 BTC during the time the general fund was open, where did you get this number?

Read my accounting barwizi. I pointed out where the BTC is missing. As for the rest of you, please show me how 15-17 BTC worth of assets wasn't left over and taken by barwizi. Then find the premine money. Then explain the 2/3rds downtime of the mining op. No one has shown me that I am wrong. You guys keep buying into barwizi's numbers that are HALF of what the real NRS price was at the time.

You really are a master of misdirection. I have posted plainly here for everyone to see using your "evidendce", it's actually you who is supposed to explain the fictional numbers you keep throwing up.
My numbers are sound and verifiable, yours aren't plain and simple.

Well your efforts to hide behind obscure numbers wont be tolerated

No, the NRS price I got was straight from Logans document. There was not ONE day that NRS was at .00004 BTC during the time the general fund was open, where did you get this number?

 Angry Angry Angry

who do you think you are kidding ? the price even went down to 0.0000184 , and instead of using that number i used the more frequent 0.00004s, or would you like to use this table and end up with a lower median?

Stop kidding yourself, everyone knows how much they invested and what it was worth at the time, and it's documented. So dont waste our time trying to feed us bogus inflated numbers to  justify your crap.

I said prove your  numbers and all you do is blather on some numbers without backing, i am using the same docs as you and posting actual proof, facts and figures that can be verified. So unless you will do the same, your claims are unfounded and you are dragging my name in through shit just because you have hurt feelings about Project XUC.

Barwizi, if you want to prove that NRS was 0.00004 at the time people were transferring NRS to you, you cannot just pick some days and say, that was the price for the whole period.
So let's come with facts:
Look at cell x4 of the document. That states that on 3/26/2014 Lajz99 has sent 0.32405 BTC worth NRS to the General Fund. On that day the lowest value of 1 NRS on Poloniex was 0.00007598
See for yourself: https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_nrs
Let's take another cell from the document: AD27: That states that another GF holder has sent 1.13 BTC worth NRS to the General Fund on 5/4/14. On that day the value of 1 NRS on Poloniex was 0.00004
Ok just for fun: cell T19: That states that Argakiig has sent 0.25 BTC worth NRS to the General Fund on 3/17/14. On that day the value of 1 NRS on Poloniex was 0.0001499
There are transfers from 3/14/14 to 4/12/14 and the price has had a low of 0.0000184 on 4/10/14 and a high of 0.0001499 on 3/17/14. Beside from that one day low on 4/10/14 there it almost always has been above 0.000035. So if you take 0.000035 and 0.000135 (I choose 0.000015 BTC lower then the most high in that time) the average would be 0.000085. So Chocobo's statement is right, 0.00004 is half of the price that was the average value of that time.
Having said that, I must conclude that the 49.81 BTC should be taken as starting point of our investigation, and that NRSlogan was right with his document.
So that means that having paid around 33 BTC for the mining op, and around 6.5 BTC for the taxes, there is 10-11 BTC that needs to be accounted for. Where is it Barwizi?
Having said that there was 12 BTC mined with the machines. That makes 23 BTC that has to be accounted for. Where is it Barwizi?
Of course there will have been costs. But they have to be accounted for. Because it was done with OUR (GF) money.
Plus there is a still a premine (presumably dumped) left to be accounted for....Where is it Barwizi?

I didnt pick a period, there is a tab in the document which has these prices and i copy-pasted them exactly, like i said, i am using what is in the document and nothing else.

I think in order to avoid further issues, we need to calculate on a per transfer basis, because we clearly dont agree.

I think you are just trying to make a sensation, if you were honestly looking for answers you would stay on track, we are still dealing with the actual amount put in , then once that is done we will move on to each issue in turn. Throwing up numbers like that serves no purpose except to try give credibilty to something you have not even proven yet.

So, if we look at the total investment of

Quote
A total of 28.95 BTC invested
A total of 157k NRB  invested
A total of 165k NRS invested

There is a BTC short fall of 4.0155 BTC

So since the BTC is not enough, we add the NRB

Which was valued at 1.831395349 BTC

leaving us with a short fall of 2.1842 BTC

Took me some time to read the accounting through, but one thing I can say: The accounting of 28.95 BTC totally invested is wrong. I have been looking at the Excelsheet, and see this sum: =SUM(H4:H42). In colum H only 0.15 BTC is stated for my account. But in column L you see I gave another 0.11 BTC on April 11th. That one was not counted in the total in colum H and you are referring to cell H47 for the total, but that is not the total total of BTC that has been given. My guess is that cell I47 to O47 also must be counted. Likewise I guess for PTS, NRS and NRB.
So there was more than you say there was.

You are right, it gives us a total of 29.05000255 BTC , sorry the NRB and NRS remain unchanged. And i forgot about the PTS.

So that means i need to add an additional 0.2 BTC and 3.67 BTC (for the PTS ) to what i have to account for.

I'll add that now.

I did this =SUM(E47:AH47) that gave me 49.81 BTC invested (total value of PTS, BTC, NRS and NRB that were donated)
If I am wrong, tell me what I did wrong, but for me you got 49.81 BTC!!!!

Your math gives total shares, but like i pointed out,  It was a declaration on my part that 10000 NRS == 1 BTC == 1 Share, but that was not the price on the market was it? So we cannot assume that there is investment worth 50 BTC. The investment total was worth

29 BTC + 157 k NRB and 167k NRS +447 PTS (corrected)

Which at market price then was 29 BTC + 1.8 BTC + ~ 8 BTC and 4 BTC.

The SHARES are 50 but the VALUE is much less that your proposed 49 BTC

barwizi is right

You are using an outdated GF ledger.

LOL , its out of date by two or three entries, and it has a simple lay out that details who invested what , EVERYONE THAT INVESTED KNOWS THAT IS THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENT SO STOP MISDIRECTING

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxCtiOzdwvPya2ZZY1RzeUlzWlk/edit?usp=sharing

has a few small changes to it but it's lay out is complicated, don't try to use that as a way of getting your point across.

Not that one, the other one you posted when adding up the shares. He used that one.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0ENIPCOaLvNdXZvbHA5OFpTQlk/edit?usp=sharing

is the original that everyone saw and would check on when they invested and is missing maybe three entries.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxCtiOzdwvPya2ZZY1RzeUlzWlk/edit?usp=sharing

is the one compiled by logan

But both of them still lead to the same results. And no matter how much you struggle, the facts are laid bare on them , same document you used is the one i used. I posted that one after there was a mix-up when Frigga was asking his questions.

I am still waiting for you to prove your prices of NRS, my proof is right there in the document by Logan, shall i just cut paste the page here and be done with it?

The premise is not based on what if and hypotheticals, it is simply a mapping of as many blockchains as i can onto one. The fact that i will hold one percent means nothing. And attempting to use a distribution model that leaves coins in my hands or even on a bot is just asking for trouble and very inefficient.

If the community feels that this is a valuable  coin we will see many people redeeming, if not, then it will just die. But i cannot make my decisions based on ifs and whens.

Funny how people are fixated on the 1% i hold over the fact that these are free coins, no IPO , ICO or mining involved, you just get coins no strings attached. So i should give away free coins and not take some free 1% for myself of said free coins?  Huh
