181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.6 (Windows/Linux) on: January 28, 2018, 09:48:03 AM
@Claymore
We need support for Dual Mining like blake2s

asic is in for lbry , dcr, sia , pascal ... dual mode is gone without new support

I like this Miner, BUT 2 % devee is much too much. Claymore makes millions every month just with this little software. Is that fair? I'm willing to pay like 0.1 % but thats just greedy. I mine with the -nofee Option, its worth me instead of supporting greedy people.

use an other miner of disagree or use option -nodevfee or something like that

can you imagine the job he did ? the time and effort ?

188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain just announced the AntMiner A3 - 815GH/s Sia coin miner - Blake(2b) on: January 17, 2018, 02:20:57 PM
It's the algorithm used by SiaCoin, and others.
Sia is currently developing and selling their own Asic, but which is not shipped before June.
Sia's "Obelisk" runs at 800GH, which a power consumption of 500W. First batch (June) was sold around 2500$ and batch 2 (End of August) is sold now for 1600$.
Bitmain is hardly hitting Obelisk with this move.

i warned people to never buy obelisk or else so long time before release , that was so stupid.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [FIX] Issue antminer l3+ (boards not recognized, bad fw flash , etc) on: January 13, 2018, 10:50:51 AM
Hi there

I  have the Dec 2017 batch L+ ,l the ones i've checked so far have the PIC16F1704 chip, but i believe there is also a batch with PIC16F1705 chips , however i have the hex for both

I know don't why you would need kernel logs i just pulled the bricked hashing board out , connected it to the pickit3 tag and re-programmed it, popped it back in , and it worked , ive had no issues since ...

had a tutorial how to flash manually could be very nice from you for next people ...
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 governaments will regulate cripto? on: January 12, 2018, 09:26:50 AM
news are making buy their owner , the BANK ! every 4-6 month ~ it s the same sing .... the same target,  they sold their Bitcoin, and make what it needs to get it low low low ... then they buy it again ........

last song get btc lower at 3000$ and jpmorgan bought for 30 millions of it !! after spit on it , some of their big guys says " hey it s the new gold ahahaha" and price get high again , pfff disgusting

again and again sheep listening news !

if they really fight good crypto projet , it only result bad things and bad use , cause only real anonym cryptos will rise ! in fact they just only promote darkside, but they dont care , they just want the control of little people and get your money back !
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: January 10, 2018, 10:42:51 PM
I have a little question.

I can buy a baikal giant x10, but the seller tells is has only 3 algorithmes.
I thought they came with 5 from first batch.

192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: January 10, 2018, 06:24:11 PM
hmm need some more hints
which miner software from where?

If you check the "baikal" home folder, using terminal, you will find bash_history.
Who configured the system copied and renamed the file "sgminer_300MHz_fix_NoHW", maybe it's a custom sgminer version, locked at 300 MHz speed and with the algos we already know.
When ready, baikal will release a new custom sgminer version, adding nist5 (and groestl) algo support.
So, maybe that someone was able to develope and run his own copy of custom sgminer on that hardware.

smell fake ... scam coming , he probably ask you money to learn you ahgaha

Yes, I agree with you.   Grin
But OS is ubuntu and you can find sgminer at github, so a good developer could try.  Wink

I will wait for next baikal firmware, too risky for me.

nice say ... smart and sure way friend

network of bulwark has not raise , and if we have groestl , GRS will change algo , i dont know why but they dont want asic ... this is a good think for a network to be secure as much as possible , if not lagging ...
so we wont mine groestl so much in futur.

to resume nist5 and groestl are very limited new algo , even with an amazing profit (short time) Cry

Hi All ,

I had the same problem , i erroneously flashed one of my antminer L+ miners with the wrong firmware ,  i dont know it was late , im sure i clicked on a link which was meant for a L3+ and not a D....however , i did flash it , and it was truly buggered
... tried reflashing original firmware, no good ,
tried  the other firmware flash from this post, no good
tried a support ticket with bitmain .....lol

what did work was buying a pic programmer pulling the boards out and re-programming the the pic chips on the hash boards , one at time.. with the code from one of my working non flashed L+ miners ,  works perfectly now.

Lessons learned , dont flash your L+ antminers with 3rd party incorrect miner firmware meant for dash miners...

If anyone else is in the same predicament, anywhere north london, pm me , i do a program whilst you wait  , for 10 a board ..

..

what is your batch
whats are le kernel logs with this fix ?
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: January 08, 2018, 11:27:09 AM
these things seem to be ridiculous to get. Geez... I have seen them for sale for 10,000 usd. I don't think it is really worth it. Baikal doesn't seem to be making enough of these either since emails get ignored. I like Baikal and I started with the cube about a year ago. The only problem I had was with burnt out power adapters. Anyway, does anyone know someone that is selling these at reasonable rates?
No it s not ridiculous , selling massively like bitmain did is ridiculous.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3+ Blissz firmware (05/01 v0.01 first beta) on: January 05, 2018, 04:01:52 PM
yes because it was blank , i dont have those logs now

with 384 Mhz and lowest asic i think consumation is less about 30w~ per board.

197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3+ Blissz firmware (05/01 v0.01 first beta) on: January 05, 2018, 03:48:37 PM
see that on logs , dont know if it s normal , can someone check to confirm ?

Jan  5 15:46:14 (none) local0.err cgminer: Invalid config option --bitmain-voltage4: '' is not a number

Hey, nice news , thanks to warn me about it
will test Smiley

Thank, let me know how it works! You're still on 3 chains by the way? Or got that broken chain working again?

yes still 0x0 for my 3rd board , try all chain and lot of flash , all cable etc ...

198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [FIX] Issue antminer l3+ (boards not recognized, bad fw flash , etc) on: January 05, 2018, 03:40:53 PM
worked for me thanks

Witch one work for you... FixFW or with programming the pic manually?

The modded firmware and ruining one board at a time, then flashing official firmware and all 4 boards working.

BTW I had this problem by accidentally installing the Blissz D3 Mod on my L3+

Very happy for you friend
