Why should I trust you?

I am the creator of the GPU miner Reaper. I was the first person to show that GPU mining Litecoins (i.e. scrypt) is possible and also a lot more efficient than on the CPU. I've made my own GPU miners for many coins, including Bitcoin, Litecoin and Yacoin, although not all of them have been released to the public. The Primecoin GPU miner will be free and open-source.

I am also a university math student, and I have made my own implementation of the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm used by Bitcoin (and all its forks) to make transactions. From scratch. (Yes, that includes my own bignum library.) I know a lot about algebra, prime numbers and such.

How fast is the miner going to be?

Currently it's not really faster than a CPU. It'll be optimized in time, though.

That doesn't really support your statement.

Can anyone explain why I can't withdraw my BTC?

What does "bonus rollover" mean?

rollover mean you must play bets before withdraw and minimum is 5 credits I just withdraw yesterday 0.2 btc and its all have just from 1 credit and have no problem  Grin

Does that mean I can't withdraw BTC I've mistakenly sent there?

Learn how computers work and stop being a crybaby.

Or you know, prove me wrong and write a blazing fast GPU miner.

I never said it was possible in the first place. I know how computers work. Why did Mtmlr encourage people to give him 77 BTC if he knew it would probably not work? He was using his past history to make people think he was capable, but he was not.

Counting 10031 posts
828667 minutes taken to create all of them so far.

Each post took 82.6106071179 minutes on average to be made

At this rate, it would take 157.07 years to reach 1 million.

At this rate, would take 3298.46 years to reach 21 million.

At this rate, we have 3296.88443 years left to go.

It's not. Learn how computers work and stop being a crybaby.

Mtmlr received 10 grand and released garbage that resulted in complete loss of everyone.

What does that have anything to do?

He should have at least refunded his clients after failing to do the job he said he was going to do. (Unless if he was working on it full time. In which. Keeping it is understandable. But he was not working full time, as you could tell.)

I placed a withdrawal request yesterday and my BTC has still not arrived.

What gives?

I wish that BitSumo guy would buy this company. He's really good at running BitSumo since he bought that.

Because they actually have nothing to complain about.
I'm uncertain if this was sarcasm or not.

You should make one. Our system has a default lock on accounts. Anyone who wants to withdraw needs to have a deposit in the system first. Any amount can do, even 0.0001.

That makes a lot of sense. Can you add this helpful text to that screen so we don't have to be confused anymore? xD

There's almost no way to tell apart a real, legitimate email, from a forged one. The hacker could have the password for all we know. Nothing can really be trusted in such a situation. An ID is the only failsafe way of discouraging the hacker from trying to forge an email.
And what exactly is the ID proving? The hacker could also send a bunch of fake IDs, how would TF know?
He doesn't know who we are in RL.

Your point doesn't stand the slightest bit.

I said it's a failsafe way of DISCOURAGING, not of completely overcoming the hackers.

You know what is strange?

So many people seem to hate him, yet his trust rating is pretty much.. 0. Why hasn't he received negative trust ratings?

Also. If you know where to look. You CAN find things like Street Address and places of employment just from a name. HINT: public records. They vary by state but some US states even provide these records online.

you can find a street address, or multiple, tied to a name, but not necessarily current address or the address on ID. and not conclusive to tie name to identity, especially with more common names.

My point still stands.

There's almost no way to tell apart a real, legitimate email, from a forged one. The hacker could have the password for all we know. Nothing can really be trusted in such a situation. An ID is the only failsafe way of discouraging the hacker from trying to forge an email.

Password is not necessary to fake an email.

You can send a faked email from anywhere.

Also. If you know where to look. You CAN find things like Street Address and places of employment just from a name. HINT: public records. They vary by state but some US states even provide these records online.

You don't get it...
He can require the password instead of just a mail stating "hi send money to x" and instead of an ID.

P.S.: The US is not the world.
P.S.2: those public records aren't connected to Bitcoin use

He's asking for identification were users could just:

- State current & previous passwords
- Ip's logged into the site (if not accessed from tor)

Although, I believe he is no longer returning emails, messages or replying on his threads. Although being active recently.
Those details are very hard to confirm. He's probably in no place to be manually shuffling through databases to make sure the password(s), and IP addresses is(are) right... In fact most people probably don't know what IP they accessed from before.

Requesting an ID makes most sense because you can just add that to an archive, and if the requester turns out to be the theif then you have some evidence for the police and people.

It doesn't matter if the public records or ID is connected to bitcoin use or not. What matters is that by presenting an ID, hackers trying to STEAL coins will be discouraged from doing so.

We are under a DDOS attack.

I wonder why. I mean.. doing that on a trade site makes a bit of sense. But a gambling site?

BEWARE OF BIT777.com: they are not sending any BTC anymore. I would recommend everybody NOT TO MAKE ANY DEPOSITS to their site for the tome being as you may not be able to withdraw it.

Let me guess. BTC sent is automatically converted into "credits" that can't be exchanged for real BTC, right?
