Based on our current schedule we expect distribution to start tomorrow. We'll be explaining this process in detail tomorrow once we're ready to begin as well as releasing the pre-compiled wallet (Windows, OSX) and github if you would prefer to compile it yourself.

Unfortunately Chris will not be available for a discussion tomorrow at the Beyond Bitcoin hangout so we have canceled our attendance there for this week but will be reapplying for next week.

If you invested and did not register with a valid email, please PM me or contact jewels on Slack as this will be an issue for you in the future Smiley

amazing news devs!

topps does some cool stuff, like these newer rip cards where topps hides small cards INSIDE big cards that you have to rip up to discover what's in there.

where link wallet BLRY?

It's actually a software you have to install.  The windows installer is in beta so I won't be posting it here yet.  If you would like a copy or show your support, check out the slack at

i was joined, how to get more bounty there ?

Do whatever you think that will help out the community.

Im trying to get this, can anyone answer. If I make content I can get paid in lbc, is there a difference here between lbc and devcoin?

never heard of devcoin but yes you "publish" (upload) your own content and name whatever price you want.  when someone watches that video or downloads whatever is supplied on your LBRY link that you published to.

Best part is if I download it, I also will start to get paid when others download it Cheesy

So everyone in this ecosystem makes micro payments Cheesy

Content creators make the most but Content consumers can make LBC just by watching stuff and leaving their computer on at night Cheesy

This sounds like a amazing idea the more i read about it and im surprise you never heard of devcoin. Its one of the original alts. It was traded on btce at first and im sure its still traded somewhere but not on btce anymore. Check it out.

it is dude, look I didn't do anything with lbry but chat with people today and this is some of today's payments so far.

you can still use it in 32 bit on a 64 bit windows.  It will come later, the builds now are beta only.

it is the original thread?

No, original thread was started a year ago and has been abandoned.  The official team only uses their outlets to distribute info about LBRY and don't mess with bitcointalk so I decided to just do it myself. Cheesy

I try to help out the best I can but I'm not a LBRY employee, just a member of the community.

Right! Smiley  And i commend you for putting in the time to deal with this thread! Smiley

Where the project is now , who knows if they will ever NEED an official thread, Slack is as busy as ever, new users  jumping in everyday, learning to publish on the platform. Testing, tweaking, with new features added with each build (pretty much everyday).

All are Welcome, did we mention you can "Skip the Waiting List?"    Check us out in Slack for more info, and join some contests for some free LBC! Cheesy

Cheesy yup, and help comes a lot faster at the slack than bitcoin talk minus all the FUD tactics which are rampant here at BTCT

I've a few unachieved books, that I could finish. They're in French though. Do you think it has any potential over the platform ?

Hi, YES!  There's already Ebooks on there and also...Live streamed Audiobooks!

In addition to in-game items have you considered creating any blockchain based assets?

You could for instance issue a special limited edition Apex Conqueror Collectors card/s in a manner similar to SOG/BitCrystals?

Maybe you can explain this to me because its something I don't understand and you brought it up.

I understand the desire to collect physical collecting cards (Baseball, basketball, magic, ect) but what is the desire to own the digital version of the card. I just don't see it.

- Physical cards can potentially be faked vs. blockchain based cards which can't if done properly.
- Blockchain cards will always be in pristine condition vs. being damaged/detoriating.
- Buying/Selling blockchain based cards globally is easier, safer and more convenient than physical.

Most importantly, as we become a more online and social media orientated society and the ways of displaying/show-casing your digital card collection online and via social media become enhanced then ultimately digital collections could potentially rival and one day surpass the appeal of physical ones.

We already have the example of BitCrystals/Spells of Genesis which has increased in value by >1800% in the last year and though I don't collect them I'm lead to believe their collectors cards have appreciated strongly in value too.

Later this month we will have the already popular Force of Will working with Counterparty and SOG to allow their 100k+ player base to utilize game items on the blockchain.

IndieSquare and Spells of Genesis have teamed up with TCG Force of Will to innovate using Counterparty. Force of Will has a growing community with over 100,000 players that will soon be able to utilize game items on the Bitcoin blockchain.

So there's certainly already been some success with blockchain based collectors items and bigger players are moving into the market too, indicating there's potential which even projects like Apex could perhaps capitalize on to a degree.

Thanks man, I understand it more now but even being a fan of blockchain I still cant get my head around it. I happen to collect Cards, Mostly sports and mostly rookie cards but I cant imagine a time in the future where I'm collecting these same cards in a digital form. And you listed it as a benefit that the cards are always in great condition but hunting out the best condition card from the 70's is part of the fun. Where is the fun with a perfect digital card. I just don't see myself getting there but I do know I need to do much more research on the matter. I do think blockchains can help to register ownership of sports cards. That I've already thought of and it could be very useful so when you trade a card you also trade its token of ownership. That would help keep fakes out of the market and help keep stolen cards out of the market as well, which would make the theft of collector cards not even worth it anymore.

Yeah, when TOPPS gets involved, blockchain will blow up! Cheesy  If anyone has the resources to do it like it should, it's topps.  Blockchains don't have to be about coins, topps could make their own blockchain with premined coins that act as a register for the card which is imprinted/deposited in QR which is Unique to not only that specific card type, but down to the individual card.  All have a different QR that can be used to identify authenticity.  Not as a way to increase value.

Possibly the rarest of cards have a special blockchain and/or can have special links for digital version that can only be gained through buying the physical version WITH the auth coin in the card still.

....
yea pretty much.

So coin at end have ~1% annual inflation

yeah, little under 1% per year, this is a hold coin for sure

Which such low inflation this is certainly a coin to hold for at least a few years (and if project Rebirth will be a success next year, that could mean a lot of JWL sales for ingame perks raising prices as well).

Rebirth could be just the start. Who knows where this leads.

Is there any wallet that can i download? or the JWL cant be transfered yet?
I dont always check this project and only invested small amount

they should have a wallet out next week during the coin launch so we can start staking.

So 0.5 JWL per block with 1 minute blocks meaning ~720 total new JWL per day and ~262800 per year correct?

yea pretty much.

coinbase is geh, I hope they fail.  They are the most ridiculous company with serious shitty support.

trex is a good start (I like them a lot btw)

Need Polo so I can keep track of all my coins in one place

Wow  someone dropping 60 BTC in this is big, you dont do that on a passive investment, that is to pump this baby with.

I am glad for everyone's enthusiasm, lets see if you can maintain it in the long period after ICO, Bet i buy half your coins cheaper than ICO just like on waves

Is any exchange actually ready to take it? Polo will never happen so forget that,

Trex is what is needed, And I also say 1ex.trade cause it's sick

You want to bet on polo happening?

Hell yes, unless you are prvvy to inside knowledge?

it wont be on Polo within 3 months,

All new Alt's get chubby talking about it and zero of them deliver.

Why do they need to add shitcoins ( slang) when they can invent ETC?

I never said 3 months but I do think after time its going to be on polo and probably sooner than later.

lol makes it a hard bet if it's listed on polo at some distant time.

Experience would leave me to believe they wont list it. maybe after a year if volume is good and price is at 20k and above maybe.

anyway I don't get this obsession with polo, people want a whale to pump it for quick profits, which then fuck the coin for the future.
If JWLS followed WBB's development we will be laughing, Nice and slow growth with strong hands.

I wouldn't be too sure on that, the end of the year crypto rally is about to begin soon.  This project is imo more important than the others in the crypto gaming arena.
