1801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sites accepting 0-confirmation txns on: May 15, 2012, 09:26:57 AM
satoshidice.com ?

It now requires a couple of confirmations.

ZipConf would be the most interesting to try this on, as they claim to have developed a system to reduce the double spends significantly for 0 conf transactions.
1802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: custom bitcoin address wanted on: May 15, 2012, 09:24:40 AM
Well yes. It took me about 15 minutes to get to 5 digits...

Wow - guess my laptop computer is rather slow then. Sad

I played around with vanitygen, and from my experience it appears that the length of custom text you want isn't important, some addresses just took longer to generate than others, regardless of the number of vanity characters.
1803  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Idea: Bitcoin payed P2P storage cloud. on: May 15, 2012, 01:23:25 AM
somebody described something similar (but still slightly different) to your idea to me about 2-3 weeks ago.

Its definitely something I'd use!
1804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [1BTC] New computer BSOD on: May 14, 2012, 11:46:03 PM
Could this be a motherboard problem?

TBH it could be almost anything.

I would download a live linux distro and write it to a USB drive and see if it'll boot your PC.

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromUSBStick

If it doesn't boot it may give you a better indication as to why then just a BSOD.

Did you build this PC yourself? If so (and assuming it won't boot from USB) I would take it out of the case to make sure its not shorting off anything, and then try reinstalling the GPU, RAM, CPU etc and test with different components and see if you can troubleshoot your problem like that. Also get a friend to look over your build to make sure its OK, sometimes a friend can spot something obvious that you may have overlooked.

Can you confirm me and lightlord are not the same person ? I don't want him dragged into this just like smart1985 dragged sonba and Herodes into this.

They were trolling. Everybody knows you're not the same person (well I'm pretty sure your not anyways)
1806  Economy / Services / Re: -->Start your own business in the web hosting industry! on: May 14, 2012, 11:15:35 PM
We do not provide or permit storage services, this is a web hosting service.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, it was 120 petabytes of HTML files. Thats OK?
1807  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: May 14, 2012, 10:45:36 PM
He started calling scammer, liar, thief even before I had the chance to give BTC back

Totally irrelevant, if you had refunded him as soon as you could nobody would think you were a scammer and he would look like a complete idiot. You now have access to the funds, proof it belongs to him, yet you don't refund.
1808  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: May 14, 2012, 10:40:59 PM
The second Bulanula realised that he had gotten the extra BTC + the buyer confirmed the money belonged to him (why not sign a message, no need for Photoshop?) he should have sent the money straight away (or as soon as he possibly could) even if he had already been called a scammer.

Terrytibbs was labeled a scammer for a long ass time, yet he refunded as soon as he could and his scammer tag was removed. I would now trade with terrytibbs no problem as he done the right thing.

Bulanula still hasn't done the right thing, and he's made it 10x worse with this ridiculous troll-fest of a thread. If he had refunded as soon as he could, I would've still traded with him, as this sort of stuff happens (I assume most people would have still traded as well).
1809  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: May 14, 2012, 10:16:05 PM
tl;dr bulanula sold advertising space for 2.5BTC. Guy sent 25BTC by accident. Bulanula refused to refund back 22.5BTC because it was the guy's fault for sending the extra money.

In all honesty, its not scamming, but its still very dishonest and sneaky and I think a scammer tag is appropriate to warn anybody who may want to trade with him.
1810  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: May 14, 2012, 09:57:32 PM
Do you have a good head doctor you can recommend Huh

Yeah, its called a guillotine, they used to fix scammers like you.
1811  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: May 14, 2012, 09:30:07 PM
Are there 3 or more generations, consisting of 8 or more people currently living under the same roof where you reside ?

I am homeless Wink
That's rich, living with your GPUs too, eh? And free power because you are employed by the power company? Somehow I still have my doubts lol.

Sad I am at the top of the pyramid and you are nearer to the bottom Huh Kiss

When did I even say I work for the power company or have free power ? Cheesy

You must be on that acid from SR and hallucinating my friend ...

Nah, he doesn't get free electricity, the electricity company gives him the electricity, and then later sends him the bill. He then uses bula-logic, because they "sent" him the electricity he doesn't have to pay the bill, they shouldn't have give him the electricity in the first place as it was their own fault. This is how his brain interprets the situation.

I guess the bigger question here is : why were you suspiciously offline during the bitcoinica hack ...

You can't see if Matthew is online or not on the forums, it always shows him as offline.

Also you were suspiciously online during the bitcoinica hack. You must've found a vulnerability that made the site accidentally send you 18k BTC, and because the site sent it to you it isn't stealing. No refunds etc etc. amirite?
1813  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BITLOTTO] NEW LOTTERY POOLS! May 2 was *386 BTC* Next draw June 1! on: May 14, 2012, 07:52:28 PM
Someone on reddit mentioned that "99% payout of funds!" makes it sound like 99% of what a person pays is won back.
I may not be the best at English but isn't it clear from my slogan that 99% of funds received are paid to the winner?

It seems clear enough to me.

1815  Other / Meta / Re: MiningBuddy needs a scammer tag, 1st scammer on bitcointalk staff on: May 14, 2012, 02:02:21 PM
DO YOU MEAN ME GIVE THIS TO YOU FOR FREE?Huh

If you are going to accuse somebody of being involved in terrorist organizations then you better have proof as that is a very serious accusation.

Bitscalper could technically sue you for a whole bunch of stuff (deformation of character etc) and get much more than just 1000BTC if you made that statement without any proof.
1816  Other / Meta / Re: MiningBuddy needs a scammer tag, 1st scammer on bitcointalk staff on: May 14, 2012, 10:38:09 AM
DO YOU WANT A POWERPOINT!?!?!?

Any evidence you have that the money that was stolen was given to terrorist organizations would be fine.

Surely you would have gathered plenty of undeniable proof before you were to say such a thing.

A photo of bitscalper handing a bag with a dollar sign on it to a known terrorist organization would be sufficient.
1817  Other / Meta / Re: MiningBuddy needs a scammer tag, 1st scammer on bitcointalk staff on: May 14, 2012, 10:13:16 AM
do you also think it's funny that it's being used to fund terrorism?

If your going to make a fucking huge accusation like that then you're going to need to substantiate it.
1818  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Cant mine with Intel graphics used for display? on: May 14, 2012, 02:58:37 AM
Depending on what version driver you have installed, you may need to use a VGA dummy plug.

If you update to the latest version you wont need the dummy plug.

Click the "i" button next to the address to get the QR dialog.  At the bottom of that dialog is a "label address" button.

Thanks, that works!
