I think any player will think about transferring to Arabian and Asian teams whenever they are getting old and they won't have the same performance, just like Ronaldo because they won't play on any top European team, but Benzema is still far from this situation. he extended his offer with Real Madrid and he has a good performance there especially a few days ago in El Clasico. Benzema could give a push for Real Madrid for another season in my opinion. He achieved a lot in his career and could end it in a rich league once he doesn't fit in Europe eventually. He will not be as welcomed as CR7 and his salary will be lower but I assume higher than Real Madrid one. |

Stuttgart has shown that they are fighting again against relegation. After 485 days they have won away from home. Now they are no longer at the pace 18. They fought well and that gives them hope again.
Since Schalke and Hertha Berlin also lost the gap in the basement of the table is tighter again. And Bochum is also back in it. They were on a good path but this defeat against Stuttgart was not really necessary.
It appears that the relegation zone spots will keep changing from a round to another until the end of the season. That's a usual thing in Bundesliga but this season there is a battle for the first spot that wasn't end prematurely by Bayern  Schalke has a serious scoring problem scoring as low as 21 goals in 27 rounds. Bochum has the worst defensive line followed by Schalke and Hertha. Stuttgart will survive tho. So for me, Bochum will definitely relegate along with Schalke and Hertha. The question is which team will play the play-offs between them. |

It has been a great weekend for Roma really. They went for the opportunity and made use of it great. Now they are keeping the third position in the standings but the points are still very close to each other of course. Balances can change very quickly in a short time. Roma just need some consistency from now on as they lost some games recently.
I assume the supporters would like to see Mourinho continuing his job here if they qualify for the Champions League. But if don't see any improvement then maybe he might leave for another team.
I doubt Mourinho journey in Roma will be extended for another season even the team will qualify for the Champions League. There was an improvement but I find it insufficient and Roma wouldn't able to reach the 3rd position if Inter, Milan and Atalanta were playing as they used to be without forgetting the points deducted from Juve. The apparent result is biased in my opinion. When you analyse carefully the statistics, you have the feeling that Roma fits in the 6th - 7th position. |

I have never seen a more boring game than the one I am watching live Lorient vs Marseille,a game in which Lorient just keep parking the bus and Marseille players look like they don't know how to create goals opportunities,they just keep the ball without any ideas and most likely they will not win this game.It is exactly for this reason that I placed a bet on Lorient win or draw at 2.2 in the beginning of the second half and it looks like I am right,I am just defending another ticket where I only wait Marseille to win but that most likely will not come true as just a few minutes remain and Marseille just keep the ball and no real dangerous attacks at all.
Marseille were favourite in this game and they end up getting only 1 point. I find it kinda unfair to get the same number of points in a boring game comparing to another exciting match ending with 3-3 goals, maybe the latter should get 2 points..
Lyon won vs Rennes as predicted by bookies. Nantes got a draw this round. Overall, teams in the top 10, apart from PSG, Lens and Lyon, lost some points! |

Due to Liverpool's condition, in this season, I have observed that people no more have the confidence while watching Liverpool match. The past records of these two clubs falls in favour of Liverpool. They have recorded a poor result against chelsea in their last match, and I wouldn't expect them to lose again, irrespective of who ever they play. I knew there playing in anfield will be an additional advantage to clopp boys. It was quite an interesting match to watch.
The odds between the two teams were very close at a point you feel that a draw might be a good option even though we tend generally to support the victory of one team over the other. I consider that Arsenal were defeated myself here. They were leading with 2 goals to 0 before Liverpool scoring a goal in each of the two periods letting them to get the draw. Additionally, they gave the opportunity for City to get closer from them. We are talking about 6 points gap and eventually 3 points if City win in the missed game they have. That's not reassuring at all. |

Zidane may not fancy the idea of returning to real Madrid. He is is good no doubt. He has recorded good numbers of titles for Real Madeis. Anceloty in the same hand is exceptional. But while Zidanes most major trophy comes from Real Madrid only, anceloty has recorded trophies won by him from different European clubs. I see Anceloty has a better option to zidane, but for which ever reason and in which a ever way he leaves, I believe a good coach will still drive at Benabeu. Zidane may not fancy the idea of returning to real Madrid.
Zidane has to resume training before he gets forgotten. He was willing to coach the French national football team but it appears that Deschamps still want to be in charge for another 4 years. Real Madrid is always attracting as a club but I find it less persuading to manage only one team. The best coach is the one winning trophies with whatever team he manage. Finally psg team managed to win after two consecutive losses and it was against a tough team such as Nice this is the first time the home team lost since january and this means that Nice team will not be participating in a european competition next season unless they win the conference league.
I wasn't very confident about PSG victory and it is nice to see them winning vs Nice Messi scored a goal and Ramos too so the gap between them and Lens returned to 6 points. For Nice, their chances to reach an european competition spot is indeed low. There is an unexpected result between Anger 1 - 0 Lille. Anger won only in 2 of their 29 games before their match against Lille. Lyon - Rennes and Lorient - Marseille will be interesting since bookies are favouring Lyon in the first and Marseille need these 3 points to catch Lens in the second game. |

It seems for me that if freiburg was doing so hard in the match on DFB pokal rather than last match. The bundesliga is not so important for freiburg. Going into the top 3 or 4 was very important but it can't also become the main target by freiburg. As long as freiburg was winning pokal and the club has been getting a trophy for this season. Glad to see that bayern was winning the game even though it was winning with small scores.
Freiburg is always become a worthy opponent for bayern. Bayern didn't wanna make the same mistake. that's why tuchel was not putting musiala in the starting line up caused by he was feeling worry about him makes another blundes like the match in DFB pokal.
Bayern was not losing technically if musiala was not making a huge mistake. The penalty was caused by he was not controlling his hand when he wanna block the shoot.
Didn't follow the second half but I was a little worried that Bayern could fail to score in this match but they made it in the second half and these 3 points were essential after Dortmund victory against Union. Bayern are still two points ahead of Dortmund and Leipzig advanced to the fourth spot instead of Freiburg followed by Leverkusen in the fifth place after winning vs Frankfurt. The remaining games will have an impact in the ranking of teams in the relegation zone or near it. |

At least Napoli will win and their celebration will be more intense once Lazio lose vs Juve. We are talking about 19 points gap and eventually 22 by the end of this round Napoli, on the other hand, have increased their points difference back to 19 and are now close to declaring themselves champions. I expect Juventus to beat Lazio. Meh, Lazio were able to stop Juve successive positive results and won by 2 goals to 1. Juve missed an opportunity to get closer from a Conference League spot after the defeat of Atalanta.. Napoli are still leading with 16 points difference, they need to win in only another 4 matches to be declared champions. Lazio are second with 5 points gap from Roma, not a big one but we know that Roma couldn't always win. Inter are out of the Champions League spots due to their bad performance lately. |

Whatever that will be the result between Arsenal and Liverpool match tomorrow will give Manchester City hope of what their next line of action would be like. If to apply additional pressure or not, which I know they will.
Between Arsenal and Manchester City, there is still a 5-point gap. Nothing has altered so far. Without a doubt, they each seek the trophy desperately. I'm currently observing how both clubs' winning streaks will develop during their remaining matches until they finally meet each other.
Manchester City are doing pretty well and Haaland scored 30 games right now which means at least a mean of 1 goal per match, he is followed by Kane with 23 goals. Such victory will put more pressure on Arsenal players which have to win against Liverpool in order to keep the 5 points difference between them and City. There is Spurs game against Brighton which was interesting. I followed it in the second half and I believe there was a penalty for Brighton that was ruled out without checking the VAR by the referee although it was obvious in my opinion. Brighton failed to get the draw, they had some good opportunities but they didn't finalize it. |

Real Madrid realizes that in La Liga there is no chance of winning, so they prefer to try to win in other leagues, such as the Copa Del Rey, which they have won in every game. However, even though Real Madrid has no hope in La Liga, at least they must maintain their position to stay in second place and don't let another team take their best position.
When you see how Real Madrid are performing in other competitions and in La Liga this season, you have the feeling that they are two different team! Villareal players aren't that bad and they were able to defy Real Madrid in their home and win vs them. Now the gap between Barcelona and Real Madrid could be 15 points by the end of this round while the gap between them and ATM could be as low as 2 points which isn't reassuring.. |

Lens are still continuing in a very determined way in this season. They got another win and made the gap with PSG only three points as well. PSG haven't played their game yet though but I don't trust them completely either. This time they are playing an away game against Nice. After seeing how many times PSG lost to the other big teams in this league it is really hard to predict them.
Lens are indeed one of the surprising teams this season and they are still able to stay in a title rivalry. I would like to see them in the Champions League after all that effort.
Lens players are working hard to make their team famous and successful among French people but also Europeans since they will get most likely a place in Europa League and they are competing against Marseille for the second place which allows entry to Champions League next season. |

There were three big matches today and it must be said that all three ended with different results. To start with the match between Inter and Salernitana, I expected Inter to lose points in this match because it was obvious that they would be more focused in the midweek match against Benfica.Salernitana, on the other hand, are unbeaten for five weeks. With this unbeaten run they have moved a little bit away from the relegation zone. They extended it to six weeks with a draw against Inter.
Inter will not win Champions League this season for sure so focusing in that competition while missing their fourth spot in Serie A is kinda illogical. Inter should try harder to keep their chances high to get a place in next year version of UCL. Now after Inter defeat, Milan got a draw vs Emploi which is disappointing. Two games ended with unexpected results. At least Napoli will win and their celebration will be more intense once Lazio lose vs Juve. But Celta Vigo is one of the strong term in the season and Sevilla can't just win like that. Let see how the match will be today by 20:00 PM in international time while 8:00 PM in local time. Sevilla scored two goals and were leading for almost 95% of the whole game before conceding two goals by Celta Vigo players.. Sevilla played most time with only 10 players due to Gueye's red card. Then they took a second red card before the end of the game. Overall, 1 point is important in this game but such defeat was disappointing. |

Inter are disappointing. This is the fourth game in Serie A where they fail to get 3 points without considering the other competitions.. They were leading with 1 goal for almost the whole game then they receive a goal at the end of the match.. Now they risk to see Roma and Atalanta passing them at any moment.. For Napoli, they won with 2 goals vs 1 for Lecce. Regardless of the score, 3 points are 3 points and a move closer to the scudetto. |

I must admit I feel a little tensed from this coming fixture at Anfield, this is a very important game and it could also be the title deciding game, if Arsenal can get a win in this game it will not just boost their title hopes but it will also boost the team’s confidence for the rest of the remaining games including against Manchester City for the last time this season and a loss will give an open opportunity to Manchester City to close the gap between the first and second position and will boost their title challenge for the next meeting when they face Arsenal.
The most awaited match this round since it might be a key game in case of gunners defeat and this upto Arsenal - City game later this month. These two matches are the ones where gunners could drop points in my opinion since I don't think Southampton and West Ham could annoy Arsenal. Sevilla should collect more points to stay safe and away from the relegation zone. The actual 4 points gap aren't reassuring at all. PSG are just doing their best to throw the Ligue 1 title but I really agree that there isn't any team that go head-to-head with them until the end of the season. Actually this is like a golden opportunity for some other team to try their luck with the league title. Marseille and Lens both deserve to go for this run taking their general peformances into account so far in my opinion.
Lens are a pretty surprising team of the season though. Most of us expected them to be out of any race after a point. But now they aren't only in a rivalry for the second position. They are 6 points away from the leader as well. There isn't much time left for the end of the season too so this effort really deserves to be appreciated a lot.
Lens has been in Ligue 1 since two seasons where they finished it in the seventh place and right now they are second and only six points behind PSG in the first place! Lens will face Strasbourg which are struggling to get out of the relegation zone. PSG mission will not be easy vs Nice. A possible three points gap scenario might take place tomorrow, unless PSG will wake up this time.. |

I doubt if dortmund will able to beat berlin easily even though dortmund will be playing at home. I hope berlin will destroy dortmund again.
Dortmund were unluckily lately after being kicked from DFB-Pokal and Champions League before that. There was the defeat against Bayern in between and now they have to face Union Berlin which is doing quite well. Odds are better for Dortmund and Union could claim the second spot once they win. There is Freiburg - Bayern which is interesting too. Obviously Bayern are better even when playing away although they have their miserable moments. |
