1801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can anyone or experts still predict/ forecast cryptocurrency nowadays? on: February 02, 2019, 08:08:48 PM
large number of those who give price prediction for bitcoin are usually wrong, those who know about the price movement are not active on social media or own a magazine. I dont believe the price is determined by the market after seeing the price movement last year. No determinant factor for the downward run, no response to news like in previous, It was mere manipulation all through.
1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge tokens during Bounties on: February 01, 2019, 10:13:27 PM
some sizes of token might be difficult to sell off in a short while except the token had a type of high demand at ICO and many investors didnt make it. Big bounty reward can be difficult to get these days except the campaign is hidden from people or it requires a stricter KYC process. high rank and few participants can only give bounty hunters that opportunity to earn such a high reward.
1803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: February 01, 2019, 10:00:54 PM
The OP has not logged in since October 2018

I guess this thread has enough answers and opinions...
I recommend the analysis of threads base on the type of topic of the OP, analyzing forum member opinions base on ranks, questions asked etc, probably using different statistical tools will make some threads helpful and useful
1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ITO] WPP ENERGY - GREEN ENERGY TOKEN BACKED BY $BILLIONS IN PROJECTS on: February 01, 2019, 09:54:28 PM
$5b fund investment is a massive worth project, which could keep them on the top 10 coin on the CMC. The challenge is how to stay there and for a project  in that caliber that should have a direct impact on individual and world at large, It should maintain its handwork to fulfill its road-map. I want see a direct of blockchain everywhere i go, It needs to leave the internet and abstract level to improve the physical world at large.

yes project like wpp is very huge considering the amount raised during the sale period and what the project intend to achieve during the course of development,

wpp is also seeking to stabilize the tokens price as closely as possible to the market value of 1m3 of H2 gas with an approximately market value of $1.15, this will
surely place this project on a different level, although the team are yet to provide full details.
Everyone is the seeking to know how they can have a stable price and keep it with volatile nature of the space. For those who know how to take advantage of a stable coin will it not dump the price at a point. there is also no update on the exchange listing of the coin .
1805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Blockchain and Crypto on: January 31, 2019, 11:52:33 AM
sometimes I hate following some people on twitter even with their track record. Some of them led us to some error we made because we believed so much in them. The report I saw again do not look good, $2600 for bitcoin again. I just want the year to run through to June and beyond to see and know where we are going. what is the excuse of an ICO of a month old dumping already in the market now?
1806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: January 31, 2019, 11:44:13 AM
gambling habit and people are always with never giving up spirit, they will always come back maybe with the rest of their money or borrowed money, they always think about the possibility of winning again. I always run away from the temptation of gambling because once you start, old or young, you might find it very hard to stop.
1807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bull run bring about the resurrection of ICOs and dead Altcoins? on: January 31, 2019, 11:37:52 AM
Any coin that cant survive and die should remain dead, the team and project dont need to come around to make numbers again. Even the exchanges that could not establish themselves to keep their head above water should never come back. We dont need so many inefficient coins and exchanges littering the  market. For coins that are in market but struggling because they came in at the ATH price of bitcoin, I wish them the best and good reward for their struggle
1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ETERBASE: Europe's Premier Digital Asset Exchange on: January 30, 2019, 06:44:48 PM
The time they had the ICO is an advantage. The price of ethereum was around $300 not too far from the current price, when compare to ICO when ethereum was $1200. I hope they must have learnt some lesson from previous ICO failure to put a substantial amount raised in fiat to run the project at least to cover a good part of the roadmap. There are still few good exchanges to compete with, some with fake volume and some getting out of trade. They have the influence to keep pushing up which was shown with the number exchange listing after ICO.

They have some VC funding if I remember correctly, so it should not be a problem. But of course, if they did liquidate all of the ETH collected it would be much better.

I'm more concerned about the lack of activity here (not sure which account is the representative official team actually). Sure, their Telegram is active but not everybody joins their group. Delivering announcement via Telegram or Twitter might be a better option but I personally like a project that shows they're active in the forum because it's a good way to attract new users. Let's hope the beta will roll out pretty soon and after that, the exchange will go live and attract many users. That should build the demand organically.
I am worried about the relevance of bitcointalk to ICOs and STOs lately. There is high decline to the contribution of the forum to new projects and this surprisingly does not in anyway affect the ability of teams to raise fund. Some projects even have their bounty campaign on the forum but no announcement thread. the forum has a way of protecting investors which I think we should encouraged. In some case moderators sometimes got involved in researching CEOs of projects when the scam allegations were every where.
1809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Which wallet still support sending bitcoin with 0 fee? on: January 29, 2019, 02:04:02 PM
If you are considering a wallet offer of 0 transaction also consider the safety of such wallet. I believe for those authorizing the transaction the transaction fee get them paid. If you dont want to pay anyone for keeping your bitcoin and for sending it, then think about how too cheap and unsafe you are requesting for everything.

1811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any Big Upcoming ICO Like Bittorrent token ? on: January 29, 2019, 12:40:06 PM
I think that there is a very small amount of quality upcoming ICOs. Yeh, Bittorent is the most famouse, also I know about Vanta ICO. But as I remember they've already closed their ICO.
Agree with you about the Vanta project, It's a really good and big project, They have completed ICO in just a few minutes with the current bad market. And in the coming days it will be listed on the upbit and it will definitely be much higher than the ICO
Bittorent has long term history with bitcoin, I remember every time I had to download from thepiratebay and saw bitcoin,I never knew the importance of bitcoin then, maybe If I just tried to google it. I expect the project managers to have enough bitcoin in their portfolio but they still think ICO might be important. It important to see institutions adopt blockchain in coming months especially for cryptorelated projects
1812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old coins vs new coins on: January 28, 2019, 07:19:06 PM
I read through hybridblock project review today and I understand why it could be hard to get back to the ico price if the market didnt get back. For a token that was purchased at the ethereum price of $1200 and the team didnt sell until token distribution, now ethereum is $100,-90% loss. It could be good to buy now but it demands a lot of struggle for the token, so for most project that raised fund at the all time high price of ethereum and bitcoin, they are liable to struggle for longer time.
1813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-01-05] BitTorrent Is Launching Its Own Cryptocurrency on the Tron Network on: January 28, 2019, 07:09:23 PM
It took just 16 min to sell off on binance. This fast fund raise by some projects at the beginning of the year is giving a good sign to the space, I just dont know after I have enjoyed such a long period of free file sharing I will be willing to pay now. This is the only thread that gave any information of the project, a project of such influence in the early years of bitcoin, could raise money without any contribution from the forum, no announcement page either.

1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: January 27, 2019, 11:05:41 AM
The best way to know a scam bounty is to get on the team's telegram group and verify. this had always worked for me. Make sure the telegram group link  comes from the project's real website
Social attachment is not a perfect way to verify the scam bounties but if it is working for you then use it,but also verify the project team's profile to find it is fake or real.
IMO, a  scam bounty will be one not associated with the project itself. If the project team affirms the bounty campaign and other process was in their knowledge, I think it will be a good and could be all information we need to get but if you have cases that had gone  the other way using this method, am open to learn from you.
1816  Economy / Economics / Re: harmonization of fiat and crypto on: January 27, 2019, 10:26:52 AM
internet has grown to 55% coverage of the world population. It gives an idea of how many people (4.2 billion) cryptocurrency is liable to reach. The focus now should be how it will be useful to anyone who tries to use it and what could bring the preference to fiat. I have always supported bitcoin ATM, which should be adopted on many other coin, for exchanges and other uses. Bitcoin ATM machine doubled in America last year but what happens to other countries most especially larger population in Asia and the rest of the world.
1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ✅FST Network Building a user and developer friendly Blockchain ecosystem on: January 27, 2019, 10:01:06 AM
Hello. When can I see the spreadsheet? It is written that the spreadsheet will be open on January 14, and already 16. Smiley
It seems like you are better off asking at Artezy's telegram, because here he is rarely online, Smiley
They had given the same answer for more than 10days on the demand for more time for the tedious collation to be completed. At the time campaign ended and spreadsheet closes, all the activities were already counted and all that remain was the stakes calculation, which they considered tedious now. Much of my concern is fundraising to the hardcap and there had been fewer updates on most of their social media channels

1819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: January 26, 2019, 06:28:18 PM
I didnt know KYC registration has gotten to this extent, where fake identity are submitted to hide information from project team. i dont believe there is any reason to justify atrocities, not everyone will do this under this same circumstances. Investment is not also compulsory if it lures anyone to criminal acts. I also think ICO team should be subjected to lawsuit for carelessly revealing people information to encourage submission of genuine
1820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy not top 100 alts? on: January 26, 2019, 06:17:55 PM
Lets not forget what gets some coins to be listed on the top 100. They got there by the total marketcap of the coin not the trade volume or other factors that shows their efficiency in the market. I hope the position on coinmarketcap wont be a determinant for a successful token. The disappointing thing is that most coin below this 100 had always under-performed except few.
