1821  Other / Meta / Re: Poll on solving the imgur issue on: May 18, 2023, 08:23:08 AM
I think the priority now is to keep those photos by hosting them.

I don't think most of us will have a copy of it and therefore the first option is not available.
The last option is meaningless because over time this could happen to any other service.

The ideal solution, is to have an unofficial hosting service (non-profit organization), so that the forum pays a little to ensure that the service will last for several years and bear the volume of traffic, with a monthly payment to them like staff.
thus reducing the damage to intellectual property rights and the existence of a service that the forum members can hold accountable.

It is true that this option will cost about $ 1,000 per month, but the value of this data will definitely be higher than that.
1822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World's First Kids Cartoon about Bitcoin on: May 17, 2023, 11:18:46 AM
I will add it to my bookmark. I hoped that the comments above would be from people who have already seen YouTube video and therefore useful to those who want to watch it in the future, but it seems promising.

I started watching a lot of educational books to teach Bitcoin to children, so it seems that economic changes have made such an industry with a good return and thus it will flourish, as long as the content is good and carries excellent technical information, I will share it with my friends.
1823  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason of why Bitcoin is good for trading (for me) on: May 17, 2023, 11:07:21 AM
A wise strategy and somewhat reduces your risk, but I advise you to mix it with investing in the BTC/ETH pair, and thus you will achieve more return with relatively little risk.

Without defining a final goal, it may take you a long time before making a profit, and this time represents the alternative opportunity that would have been achieved if you had invested early, and therefore you would miss the alternative profit opportunity.

In general, continue with it, learn it to trade in altcoins pairs and start using these profits as a start for short-term investment.
1824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some people started their BTC journey when things were more hopeless on: May 17, 2023, 10:46:54 AM
The only thing that creates value for Bitcoin is that people believe that it will have value in the future, and this is what prevents you from selling your currencies even if the price reaches $40,000 because you know that it will increase in value in the future.

So, if you are hopeless, do not invest because all investment is based on the hope that the future is better than the past, and therefore keep your brain away from pressures and be content with low-risk investments and returns that are offered to you, or buy gold in the hope of preserving your money from inflation.

Investing in high-risk assets is harmful if you do not know when to stop investing, meaning that you have a clear entry and exit strategy.
1825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The biggest No while trading on: May 17, 2023, 10:19:47 AM
The whole of what you are trying to say can be summed up in the saying that says, "Do not invest except in your money that you do not need during the next 6 months."

It is not to remove pressure, but because you will be forced to sell at times that you know are wrong, but you have no choice but to sell, and therefore your trading options are limited, even if your knowledge and strategy is good and away from pressure.

Therefore, if you do not have that luxury, it is better to invest that money in any low-return investment that is easy to liquidate.
1826  Economy / Goods / Re: Bookshop for Bestselling Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Books on: May 17, 2023, 09:50:50 AM
I get a lot of instability while browsing, some pages give me a lot of errors or I need some reload to work fine.

Since you sell books, are there free open source books? And did you take the permission of the author before publishing or own the copyright, because I see a lot of paid books on your site, which is strange for a new site.

The interface is nice, if  add find categories like beginner, kid, trading, technical it would be better.
1827  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best crypto exchange - 247 CRYPTO on: May 17, 2023, 09:38:50 AM
Security: Strong security.
Is this a joke?It is better to remain silent than to make a general description of something that needs a lot of detail.
The platform's creation date, fake reviews, front-end slow response, and bad exchange rate compared to other platforms, all of these factors will make any user avoid your platform.

Also your money laundering terms are weird I'll quote

Quote
Cryptocurrency assets are not subject to return and exchange if, as a result of AML verification, a connection is found with criminal wallets belonging to the following categories:

DARK MARKET
DARK SERVICE
SCAM
STOLEN
MIXING(MIXER)
SEXTORTION
SANCTION
RANSOMWARE
HACK
PHISHING

You then rate many deposits with general ratings such as DARK MARKET, DARK SERVICE, SCAM ,MIXING(MIXER), SEXTORTION, etc. Therefore, the account may be suspended for any reason due to the general descriptions above.
1828  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BINANCE APP Reinstall warning on: May 17, 2023, 09:18:07 AM
This friend Binance have no fund and i think no need to change password this time because he are not using for trading purpose.
As long as the hackers have the password, when deposit happen, they will initiate a withdrawal quickly, so changing the password and adding several layers of security will be a good solution.

Was the primary email coming, I mean from Binance? In any case, do not download any application outside the store and make sure that it is the real application, while making sure that there is no active scam, whether by asking here or via Reddit.

It is also safer to use two-factor verification from another device that has not and will not be connected to the Internet.
1829  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 17, 2023, 08:49:36 AM
It's very unfortunate but such an obvious case it falls to the campaign manager, they're being paid to prevent such basic scam which includes verifying that the user is wearing the signature.

Therefore, @Hhampuz and @Royse777 must compensate the company for the past weeks or at least pay to developer (out of their own money) to create a bot to verify that users in the campaign do not modify them signature during the campaign period, any modification will be sent to the campaign manager.
1830  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: May 15, 2023, 10:13:09 AM
No one is blaming anyone, but it is strange for a manager to pretend that nothing happened on the bitcoin network and send the same fees as before. Nevertheless, such moments must be taken into account when forming payments to their participants. Indeed, the campaign lasts 174 weeks and pays weekly $2.5k-$3k to its members, but can't pay the $25 commission instead of $5. It's really weird.
The reason is not necessarily to save fees costs, but rather a use of a bad Software in estimating the fees or there is no option to edit fees. I remember in the past that their wallet did not support bc1 while most wallets was supporting those addresses.
It is not limited to this service, but rather a lot of services and even some exchanges do not update their programs annually and therefore there is no choice to edit fees.

you can read more here ----> Why do some people pay illogically high fees for transactions?

This is also happen here

@Royse777
Can you please bump up the transaction fee? I think it will take ages for this transaction to get confirmed because fees go crazy sometimes.
Just did a CPFP, so hopefully, that would do the job without Royse777 bumping the fee: https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/transactions/btc/3a5978099ea12d161f7f3b9901010c9ee4959d142ce0842ff8a8b36048661117

I'll update this post when it gets a confirmation...

Update:
It's now confirmed Smiley

So it is not really weird. Wink

@Best_Change please use is code[1] before sending to avoid such discussions in the future.

1831  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VPN Service Provider. BTC / USDT Accepted on: May 15, 2023, 09:47:37 AM
The Wordpress website and a template i dont't think it's a problem. Wordpress is used all over the world.
Yes i builded over a theme that can support VPS and domain and gives more options to the user with elementor pro. All the work is via whmcs-bridge into WHMCS.

The problem is not in the use of WordPress or old design, but rather in the impression that it gives, it gives the impression that the service is incomplete and managed by non-professionals, so why do I trust my data for these? Meaning if your service requires installing any program, you will be hesitant before installing it, as it may contain many security bugs.

All I want to get to you is that the cheap price is not the attractive mark in this industry, but rather the professionalism of the developed team and the speed of the servers in addition to a good price compared to the rest of the services.

so 4 USD and professionals service better than 2 USD.
1832  Other / Meta / Re: bullrun2020bro - Merit Source Application on: May 14, 2023, 12:21:19 PM
Quote some posts that you think worth for merit and update this thread with them instead of just showing your 0 sendable merit. I think it will help you in some way and will probably also benefit the poster your quote. Admin may not have added new merit source, that includes your application has not been approved. So temporarily and regularly, the ideas above might be able to help you get some of the merit as well as benefit the post you want to get.
+1, I have about 200 sMerits, and I think that more will be renewed, so quoting some posts will be useful for everyone.

1834  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance is withdraws from Canada on: May 14, 2023, 12:02:54 PM
Although these rules are a little strict but are they difficult to meet, in my opinion the platform can meet them if the number of Canadian users is enough to keep the platform operating profitably.
Is there any news or plans about OKX.ca or Binance.ca (like Binance.us,) or will they avoid providing services to Canadian clients?
What are the crypto exchange services now available to those in Canada?
1835  Economy / Economics / Re: The thin line between contentment & living below potential, Patience & wasting t on: May 13, 2023, 02:16:14 PM
In any business activity or job, there is a time limit for judging the project to fail. For example, before you think of resigning from your job, you must have enough money to cover your expenses for the next two years, otherwise it is better to stick to your job and secure a second job.
The same applies to commercial activity. Depending on these activities, the period in which you can be patient varies. For example, the technological sectors are sensitive to changes, and therefore need a period of 6 to 9 months. It depends on the economic activities such as the trade of cloth and clothing, which takes from one year to a year and a half, including the traditional trade in grains and oils, which needs more than 3 to 5 years before you decide that the project is a failure.
1836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: May 13, 2023, 02:03:48 PM
XRP is not supposed to be a currency with a high market value for the long term, given that the quantity offered is infinite, and therefore, no matter how much the price increases, the value of that money will not increase.

diversifying investments does not mean investing in more cryptocurrencies, but rather in several investments, starting with gold, stocks, real estate and bitcoin, and not expanding investments in other currencies.

Also, the goal of the project is to provide stable international transactions, so the possibility that the price will rise against pairs of cryptocurrencies is not supposed to increase.
1837  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difference between long and short term investments in crypto on: May 13, 2023, 01:52:26 PM
When you want to invest, the investment experience varies according to the return, the money you have, and the extent of your need for that money. There is no objection to the individual having a long-term investment, and when he finds an investment opportunity, he transfers part of his share to a short-term investment, and so on.
So investing in itself is a personal experience, and its return can vary according to your experience, past experiences, and psychological factors. In short, we cannot judge by simply writing or reading without going into personal experience.
1838  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is going to be the faith of other currencies in time to come. on: May 13, 2023, 01:02:20 PM
Inflation is not a new crisis. Since the dollar was disengaged from gold or paper money in general, inflation was associated with it in one way or another. We have examples such as inflation in the German mark, which reached limits that Zimbabwe's currency did not reach.

Therefore, converting it to other models such as the digital dollar or any other models will not solve the problem of the economy, because the solution to the problem does not lie in the form of money, but rather in the state’s behavior with that money and how to manage it economically.
1839  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange Withdrawal Fee manipulation on: May 13, 2023, 12:25:04 PM
There is already a discussion about it here -----> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5451909.msg62212034#msg62212034

Through it, I explained that the increase in fees in the interest of Binance has several aspects, the first of which is more money for them, and secondly, encouraging users to use their BSC, as increasing the withdrawal fees for bitcoins will make some beginners withdraw using WBTC in BSC.

Therefore, increasing the fees is good for them, and they will try to make it much more because it brings them direct and indirect profits.

Direct earnings example:

Here is an example of Binance doing a tx:
https://mempool.space/tx/e097cd778c171aee685baf67f63a96a09f0160685108c2d13ec65c83980b0332
297 sat/vB  Fee   575,000 sat $166.56  and it has 78 outputs.
So it has paid $166/78 > around $2.12 for each withdrawal.
Or in Satoshi, they are charging  20000 and paying right now 7300 for each payment.
1840  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What will happen if this congestion continues on: May 12, 2023, 11:00:24 AM
I don't know, but the bet that block congestion will continues is a losing bet. The only thing that developed the NFT technology is the cheapness of the fees. No one will pay $140 to upload a photo, and he does not guarantee that he will sell it ---> projects will not continue like this for a long time.

The bad side of the story is that we will not go back to those low fees soon, as we will not see, for example, fees less than 10 sat/vb, and therefore the use of bitcoin for daily payments will be the problem.
There are solutions to this problem, such as the Lightning Network, but solutions such as Hardfork, due to the increase in fees, is similar to increasing block size, which has proven to be a failed solution.

In short, let the economy talk and you'll see fees stabilizing soon.
