1. Uninformed journalist stated the bank's name was Tradefortress. (its Inputs.io)
2. I did not know Tradefortress was only 18 years old.

All CL users with a balance (in the form of CDs, balances, withdrawals, to Inputs that weren't credited) will receive an email update within a week.

Sounds good.
I wouldn't want to visit http://bitcoinsingapore2013.com/
empty handed.

I had a little over 3.4 in CL. The CDs still show on my page. Mine are spread into 3 CDs about a week apart. I've got one coming due next week. I'll withdraw if I can but somehow I don't think that will happen.

TradeFortress seemed like an upstanding enough person and I started very small and got braver over time. I'm disappointed as it does not seem the promises of security were kept. I hope that some of this can be rectified.

I wonder if there is any police investigation. I noticed this UK based company http://www.sytech-consultants.com/ that claim to do Digital Forensics on bitcoin.

Other users have been paid back in full for CD's.

TF stated that CL balances would never be used to pay back inputs.io balances.  I guess we wait and see.

Someone on Reddit reported they just got paid half of their CL balance. I don't know if there's much left for the rest of the payments and if there is on assets, how long it'll take to liquidate them.

I contacted TF, he said that CL balances will be refunded next week, but no information if fully or partially.

100% CL balances will be refunded or just partial?

If 4100 BTC were stolen, which address were they sent to?

Publish the blockchain info for the stolen coins, otherwise it's safe to assume there were no stolen coins.

Here you go.

http://blockchain.info/tx/9536feebe3a50b94f85ca27d56e669a7209bd4188385d55c5b97227c95cf7f74

The stolen coins are still unspent in https://blockchain.info/address/1EMztWbGCBBrUAHquVeNjWpJKcB8gBzAFx

Looks like the stolen coins were then sent to https://blockchain.info/tx/c8c34cd7845b4656d21db657aa64620c35361585a25f4890baf588daa3ef6d0f
and it looks like a BlockChain wallet.
I would contact the BlockChain.info owners to verify this.

>10BTC?
> 50BTC?

Linode was already a big red flag back in July.
wished I saw this earlier

Congratulations, you have figured out our web facing server runs on Linode. While it runs bitcoind (for blockchain access, verifying signed messages and pushtx), it contains zero coins and communicates securely to the hot pocket / "main" server, which also does it's own database integrity checks  Smiley

Hey buddy may want to remove your Coin Lenders sig  Cry

just removed, thanks for the reminder.

Just wondering if OP can move the mining from BTC to PPC?

Is this the end of this ?

I've just removed this ad. I don't expect TF to be paying for ads anymore.

I just got my full balance in CL out (over 20 BTC). Although transaction hasn't been confirmed yet, I now declare that TF has earned my full trust.

I just sent him an email, lets give him some time. He will have a lot to organise.

I have more than that amount.
TF is gonna have lots of sleepless nights.

fyi:

this is sadly the problem with using escrow.. however i am very surprised he dosnt have another person or 2 keeping everything in check, hell he seems to have planned for everything else
hope hes ok though dont recall the last time he was away from here for more than a few days

Well I did remind him to have a BCP in place, in case he was busy or away.
1835  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where's John K? on: November 07, 2013, 10:30:47 AM
We're still waiting on John to refund the rest of ragingazn's asic chip group buy thread here.

If anyone has seen or heard from him, please let him know. Thanks.

I did see him come online on my email and whatsapp.
He never replied to me too.
Not sure why he's still busy nowadays.

Has anyone got any refunds? email sent TF

I got approximately 57% of my inputs.io balance refunded.

That is not a good number. and I'm down with fever too.
Well hoping I can get back my CL balance.

did you mail coinlenders support?

I mailed to support@inputs.io

Their answer:

Hi,

This claim involves CoinLenders which will be handled soon. Due to major hacks, Inputs does not have enough BTC to repay everyone fully which has also affected CoinLenders. If you have had balance shown on Inputs.io, we're dividing up the coins we do have left based on a sliding scale, and have sent it to the specified address. On your Inputs account, your balance should have flipped to the negative to indicate you've received a refund.

We apologize sincerely for the lost Bitcoins. It's been a very hard lesson for us, and we're sorry that we have to pass it onto our users. Please respond to the email if you have any queries

I just saw the same reply.
It's gonna be a bad week for me.
1838  Economy / Lending / Re: inputs.co and coinlenders on: November 07, 2013, 09:18:06 AM
There's no fractional reserve for Inputs. Inputs user balances will never be used to pay off CL debt. The only threat is if I am untrustworthy and decide to steal all the coins, which doesn't align up as CL balances have been steadily going down, people are withdrawing in panic due to the higher BTC price, BF / Btct.co closure, etc, and what do you see? Smiley

Security / hacks isn't a risk was Inputs uses cold wallets (duplicated & backed up).

according to this, we are fine as long as he didnt run. So we will see for sure soon!

question is:
how much is there in the inputs.io cold wallets ?

lucky you. I didn't get any reply about my CL balance yet.

Either way, I'd like to know ASAP how CoinLenders refunds will be handled.  I was only using my Inputs wallet as a gateway into CoinLenders.  And now it's impossible to actually make a withdrawal out of CL.  It registers on the CL side, but not on the Inputs side.

I had a look at CoinLenders and all my CDs are missing.

My coinlenders account page looks fine. CDs are there.

.... at least the numbers on the screen are pretty....

weird, my CDs are still missing.
