1821  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Cheap VPN | AUTOBUY |CHEAPEST, ONLY $2.5 PER MONTH | NO LOGS | NO RESTRICTIONS on: February 22, 2023, 09:25:30 PM
Hello, I don't have access to google play, is there a safe apk to download?
1822  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie account got a username change ! First one in my eyes on: February 22, 2023, 08:47:31 PM
Why can't you guys respect other's privacy? I hope you realize that by posting such topics you are defeating the purpose of a username change. I really hope @theymos exclude meta posts from post counts and activity counts, that way we'd see less nosey *cunts around here.

*= sorry for the language.
1823  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Questions about soft fork on: February 22, 2023, 08:25:37 PM

The reason that soft-forks work, is that they are enforced by a hashing majority. So in your example, the hashrate majority of miners will ignore the invalid block and will end up reorging it.
That's how old clients are forced into the new rules that they're not even aware of.
That's how bitcoin consensus should work, right? Meaning non-mining nodes should be forced into accepting what the hash rate majority(miners) want or desire?

Do we even have a case where nodes force miners into accepting their desired changes?
1824  Other / Meta / Re: Welsh on: February 22, 2023, 02:18:10 PM
This is why staff shouldn't waste their time contacting newbies. They take it personally. @OP, this isn't a good way to talk to other people, no need to be grumpy. I would edit the post for this is a misunderstanding and won't look good for you.
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anybody know the documentary starring theymos? on: February 20, 2023, 12:46:24 PM
I remember back in the old days, if you were to write his real name on a post, a bot would detect and delete the post, maybe staff were trolling me back then. Funny, I PMed theymos telling him that people are trying to dox him. I can't show my face around here anymore. I only wrote 2 PMs in 6 years, one to resign as a m source, one just a few hours ago.

I would still suggest you not to disclose personal information here, maybe try investigation board, because it's hidden from google and scrapers.
1826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Mrbob token new project on: February 20, 2023, 10:52:15 AM
WOW, woe MRBOB, such a Woh, revolutionary, game/ life/ future changing project. Ok this is all I can do for now. Is there any bounty, airdrop, freebies etc? You could at least gimme some premium coins since I'm the first to post here.
I can do translations for dead or alive languages, Latin, etc, I can also manage a bounty campaign, moderate your thread, scare the troll out of any FUDers etc. You'd need to pay upfront. 😘😃
1827  Other / Meta / Re: Deletion of my account on: February 20, 2023, 08:26:59 AM
Lol, looks like the sugar outburst just turned off, now he is deleting his posts and requesting for account deletion. A friendly advice Micha? Don't be afraid you are not in any immediate danger, just PM admin and relax, they will do what is necessary.
1828  Other / Meta / Re: Can I pleaaaseeee change my name on: February 20, 2023, 08:08:17 AM
I would suggest that he gets a name change since that's a minor, a 16 years old teenager boy who has apparently consumed a lot of sugar having an outburst of energy. Please change the name @admin.
1829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've invested around 450 dollars into bitcoin so far and I am 16 years old on: February 20, 2023, 07:02:41 AM
@Michael, please don't post pictures and videos, this forum is not what you think, there are security risks of revealing everything about yourself. Stop eating too much sugar and consult your father please?
1830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anybody know the documentary starring theymos? on: February 20, 2023, 06:54:16 AM
Yeah, privacy matters, don't post identity related information if you don't want to get banned.
1831  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is there any hope to build an open source natural language AI model on this foru on: February 20, 2023, 06:51:22 AM
Don't you have the source code if it was open source at some point?
1832  Other / Meta / Re: Dark mode on Bitcointalk on: February 20, 2023, 06:40:55 AM
Thanks @LeGaulois, your #flag link worked, I just need to change all the coloring and shades myself, I wouldn't suggest anyone to change any settings in that page if they don't understand the meaning of the flags.
1833  Other / Meta / Re: Who is the owner of this bitcoin forum? on: February 20, 2023, 06:21:06 AM
I nearly had a stroke reading the title, such an authoritative tone for a teenager, that's my man, Michael 😉.
I wonder what would be the answer if one were to ask who is the owner of America? Would the answer be; the president? Ask that from yourself, answer it to yourself honestly and you shall know.

On the looks and layouts, we love it as is, old habits die hard, you know? Of course you shouldn't know you are just a nearly 16 years old boy(man).😀
1834  Other / Meta / Re: Ban request for user: franky1 on: February 20, 2023, 06:04:21 AM
~snip.
When you are addressing your audience idiots 9 times on a single post it would be a difficult task to get your message heard. But since you consider anyone not following your narrative as idiots, you should also consider the obvious that idiots are called idiots for a reason. I like it though to see you resort to insults when the comments are not in your favour, what should we call this? A freaking irony? One would definitely call it just that if one reads your comment.

Good for those hundreds of thousands imaginary independent open minded community members who support your narratives with their own special language which only you understand, because idiots can't understand remember?  With this mindset of yours, it'd be highly unlikely to hold a ground where some people would have liked to remain in as neutral, thus they'd decide to turn against you.  Not implying myself here.
1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Convert USDC to USD and Withdraw Monies on: February 20, 2023, 03:27:56 AM
Hi there, unfortunately we don't answer on shitcoin related questions, because this is bitcoin discussion board, we don't take lightly the centralized scam tokens called USwhatever, in these woods we do hardcore bitcoin. A friendly advice, don't do trades when you don't know the basics of exchanging crypto.
1836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rare address hall of fame on: February 20, 2023, 03:18:31 AM
ok let me try another way then, how do bitcoin miners find a hash that meets the difficulty requirement?  Shocked and i'm more of an old timer in bitcoin than you might realize...
Well this one I know very well, Basically Satoshi goes to his office every day and starts writing all the hashes needed for miners in a day to find and grab the reward. Everyone know this, try harder next time, eh.🤣
1837  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project: Sewing machine BITCOIN on: February 20, 2023, 02:26:48 AM
Absolutely fascinating! Majestically beautiful, Nicely done! Unfortunately 1 out of 1000 understand  the art around here, most people are hard cash enthusiasts following only the profit. You would be having a hard time to find true supporters of bitcoin such as OgNasty, they are rare creatures of this ecosystem. I would have bought them all if I had the coins in my reach, such a sad development for me.

I believe your art has originality and you'd have a much greater success rate if you'd diversify over your choice of media to advertise the uniqueness of an art which is your hand made masterpieces presented here.

On a side note, do you by any chance know of a rumor about the existence of red mercury inside old sewing machines? Recently there has been a surge in the market aimed at buying old Marshal/ Juki sewing machines paying from 10,000$ up to 100,000$ per device, and as a matter of fact I happen to own one Juki, but the government has banned the advertising of sales for such devices, as the public claims that they are buying these machines to extract the red mercury in order to advance the nuclear bomb programs. Do you think that such claims have any merits?
1838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rare address hall of fame on: February 20, 2023, 12:35:27 AM

Ok, but how did you do it? That's what I want to know.

he did it just like they do it for all uppercase- BFS.
Stop being cryptic, lol just say it in lay man terms, plain and simple. Second lol. What is it with this new generation? They enjoy torturing old time bitcoiners, just let it out already Larry!🤣🥰
1839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've invested around 450 dollars into bitcoin so far and I am 16 years old on: February 20, 2023, 12:24:29 AM
Don't know why people call him "young age"? He is a man now and he should know that this forum is not a good place for his little sister, so please don't bring her to this forum, you could help her to buy bitcoin and teach her about bitcoin.

Also you should avoid posting consecutively as it is against forum rules, And please don't waste your money on hardware wallets, those are for billionaires not for a few k in $. Reading more and posting less is a great help, because there is a lot of misinformation floating around, you could get confused if you keep asking so many questions. Take your time and learn a lot first. Store your coins on a paper, on a flash drive and on electrum with a strong password, save the password  and the seed in 3 different safe places. Buy as much as you can because you will never see these low prices again. Go go go, Michael.😉
1840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anybody know the documentary starring theymos? on: February 19, 2023, 11:54:01 PM
Do you know his real name or do you recognize his face? I do and I know he doesn't like for his privacy to be violated, so I stopped talking about it few years ago when I saw that staff removed the posts with his name mentioned. If he has decided to retain his privacy, let us honor and respect that. Though I do love to hear from him from time to time, know his inputs on several topics about the crypto currencies in general.
