Bitcoin is still not large and mature enough yet to be a safe haven. It's still a high tech science experiment mostly supported by the permissiveness of banks and governments. It is going to follow the markets - not go against them.

Dude... u'r some FOMO heavy breather... do you want to buy more and you are waiting your next pay day in a week or so?? Or what is with all the BS's propaganda you are implying??  Roll Eyes

Do you at least know why bitcoin is so slow and not going directly to 10-50 million US$ per coin?? ... Because that means they need to give up their scam system for a legitimate foolproof system.  Cool

"Is gold better than Bitcoin?"

Answer is simple! ... Nope!

Gold is too traceable in this day and age. But maybe if you mine it yourself or if you get a good price for it without giving any identification.
1824  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: November 04, 2016, 06:40:07 AM
In a year or two I'm buying a few kilos of paper US dollars to see the taste of some pork, on the grill, lit by them!  Cheesy

China is FUCKING HUNGRY

You do realize that in July/August 2015 ... the Yuan was 6.2 on the dollar... right?? Smiley

And in 2016... it went now to 6.75 - 6.80 per each dollar... and 3-4 months ago was 6.50 - 6.60 ... And pointing this out... you do realize for billionaires those are F'-ing huge numbers!!!

And besides that... even if the dollar/euro/yuan... etc... crash&burn.co ... BTCitcoin usually keeps up with gold/silver since those will be the things it will be pegged to after the crashes.  Cool

1827  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 30, 2016, 04:32:45 AM

I doubt that I have very much stress at all, these days.

I call your $2000 and raise you $6000

Thats a 1200% rise in 18 months. If it did happen that fast you'd at least have a retrace to $2000-$3000. (And it ain't gonna happen without a fiat-collapse scenario).

But it will actually happen my friend... I'm already seeing people losing their confidence in paper money and start using alternatives.  Wink

Why most people, even experts, are going to get crushed in the coming world market collapses and why you HAVE to play the long game:

With ViaBTC moving all their hashrate (~12%) to Bitcoin Unlimited... looks like SegWit is going to get blocked and scaling will be at a standstill again.

I don't see this as positive news at all.

Yeah, this would suck monkeyballs.  A veto / impasse situation is quite negative, but I don't want to sell my coins with so much of the good stuff just around the corner.

The only way I thought about it would be if they where somehow hoarding computing power over the years from recycled electronics and they just brought them up online after they could reach a certain consensus for 30-40% ... and with the extra computing power they would go 50%+1.  Roll Eyes
1832  Economy / Economics / Re: Have $20 worth of bitcoin, how to earn more with it? on: October 10, 2016, 09:24:29 AM

Yes, hopefully the price will go up soon. But stock markets offer good reward as well these days.

Stock markets be careful

speculation - sell walls being pulled looking like no-one wants to sell btc,

Like half a year ago.. I tried to buy physical gold as well ... I searched shops all over the city and I found a few.. and all of them wanted to sell like 30% overpriced.

And I wanted to buy it online as well... they had it... just like 5% more expensive than the exchange rate... but they where asking for so much f^cking information! ... I felt like they want to come later back for it and they needed to know where I live and where my relatives live... So.. since then... Only BTCitcoin is king above all.
1835  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 09, 2016, 08:28:19 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

20% Gold and 80% BTCitcoin...

But I would not recommend that 20% of gold exactly... You can just go 10-15% gold and that 5-10% you can buy a few tons of copper and camouflage them in to daily / day to day usable objects... Because no one will bother with your copper... and it is undervalued now!
