Is crypto-currency actually taxable in the USA?
It is confusing for me to figure the tax issue out. If a person buys Bitcoin and then sends it all around the place, uses it for trading on multiple exchanges, makes thousands of trades, then buys coins like BNB for trading more, then sends portions of coins to wallets and back and forth.
How can that be traced? Even with block chain ledger, it seems impossible to trace that much activity.
How many people are washing their coins to make them untraceable?
How can the IRS determine and verify who owns coins?
Are they going to tax people who lose money from crypto-currency?
Does anybody else think it is confusing?

As the volume of BTC is going down the price has decreased too. Do you think it just makes a step back before the pump to 15k+ or it will follow the trend to 5-6k?
It just make a little correction when bitcoin was facing a bearish trend and there was a decrease on its volume trade and that means some people have already moved their funds to the stock market and i thought that crypto market has a very strong correlation with the crypto market. |

How does one know which altcoins come out recently and thus are trading pretty good? You can check coinmarketcap to see which coin has increased in price or decreased in price the most in last 24 hours or 7 days or month etc. But besides that, are there sites that show what coins will be released soon to the public? Thus by that i mean being able to buy from exchange like binance etc.
to find out which coin-coin will be released to the public soon, please search for a number of places like Icobench and Icorate and many other sites that can display various coins that will be released ... in coinmarketcap we can only see coins that have been registered at various markets then with the coinmarketcap we can find out the movements of each coin that is there .. Icobench and icorate are crap sites and forget it because most of the scam projects are being listed on there, CMC needs some requirements and that will be only listed a coin that already traded in some exchange sites that have already supported by CMC |

Its the same with ICO but with one difference: you can see how much for real project collect. Also team should pay for launching theirs IEO on the exchanges. Sometimes its a huge fee, so you can understand that team is interested in what they do

My main concern is why KRW? Because of no such regulations and no SEC? Or why? Do you see some explanation about this choice? Maybe on medium? A lot of chinese traders are moving to the korean exchange site and that's why this company was aiming to get more demand from there. Myself being a part of the idax exchange for a long haven't tried to make an investment on any of the IEO. I prefer using it for the purpose of trading altcoins that has got listed only on idax. Till now haven't encountered any issues while trading in terms of fund transfer and deposits. They were one among the exchanges that are very young and by this time they won't involve into such activities to ruin their growth.
I think this may be a mistake and IDAX will try to contact CMA in the near future so don't rush to conclude that this exchange is scam because this is just an exchange that has just been released in recent years. In my opinion, the denunciation of IDAX Scam will greatly affect the CMA project in the near future so both should settle in silence. Anyway, the fraud of $5,000,000 still has no evidence and I believe that IDAX is an honest exchange
Keep waiting till they exit scam with your funds... Are they registered also in other country? Because if not, that would mean that they now perform an illegal business since they haven´t officialy any document of company registration, or? To operate using a stable country and idax must be registered. They are closed their contract with idax after the latest news has already come from SEC. I guess more company will try to take it as a serious problem. SEC knows if idax was fully manipulated exchange site. |

I read a lot of speculation on new alt coins or just holding btc and eth, however, I do see the potential to hold coins like these for long term 1-2 years. Do you guys have portfolios like these as well or is everyone losing their shit since the crash and now the retrace of btc? :p
I think these coins willl increase for sure this year as well.
I do and i was losing some of my altcoins due to the various reasons. But this time the majority of my portfolios are in the bitcoin form and the rest in altcoin. I just try to anticipate both altcoin and bitcoin bullish trend. Maybe next year we will see a bull trend for altcoin but not today. |

As we can see since few days btc is mooning and alts are also going up for some 10-20%. Not every of them ofc. Now the question is what should we invest before rest of alt will moon when BTC will start to be stable/decresed like always ?
But how long? bet a little money on altcoin looks a good decision and put the rest to the bitcoin. This time bitcoin is a gold. As long as you are choosing the right altcoin like MYO, Pdata, MCO and it seems like you will not get any problem. You should try to invest some money to your promising altcoin. |

I don't think we can call Libra as a cryptocurrency. We may call it blockchain based platform money. Yes it is backed by Blockchain but there is no algorthym behind it. In crypto world, anything that is centralized and can be controlled by a single entity is not a cryptocurrency no matter its using cryptography and blockchain technology. eh.... did you forget about XRP? that's centralized and controlled by a single entity and can i consider that as a non-crypto? The definition of crypto has very well explained by the bitcoin whitepaper. but this time people consider any crypto that centralized as a scam coin.  |

Altcoin will still sit at the same place but when there were a panic sell and altcoin will get down at the same time with the bearish trend of the bitcoin. What to do with coins? Get rid of them (sell) and forget. If they are removed from the exchange - they are dead. But for some reasons there were few people that still hold their coin even that will worth nothing. Those exchange sites that have already mentioned by OP give huge volume but the result will depend on which exchange that becomes the centralization of the daily trade volume for its coin. |

I think when ETH 2.0 is on, the price will go easily to 1k and beyond. Ethereum is number 1 smart contract blockchain!
But how long? that should be the main question when it comes to the ethereum 2.0 A lot of updates are still under development by ethereum foundation and that's need the more time to go. it will not easy as those people are speculating anything. 1k looks easy but that will need a lot of effort to pump it. |
