UPDATEYou can now purchase these medallions separately and, with some restrictions, you can purchase LOADED physical bitcoins! Visit http://BitcoinMint.com for details. Very nice, thanks for the update and I will be checking out the website shortly.

That explains it more clearly, thank you. It sounded like a carpool request in my parlance Haha no problem! I'd be a little worried if you offered to purchase these coins for me without us having any prior interaction. Hopefully MJ + csky find out something and the information is relayed. I do like the coins and haven't seen them prior to your posting.

Thanks for the information. Let me know if you're going in on them, I would like to pick one up if possible. Ummm... Not sure I understand what you mean. I'm not driving anywhere to get one, I'm just following their payment instructions. Today was Martin Luther King day so banks were closed on Monday. I'm doing an order for one tomorrow. I'm not ordering for anyone if that's what you were asking. You can order your own. That was more directed at minerjones but I'd be happy to hear how everything goes on your end. The "Thanks for the information" part was aimed at your message, I kept the quotes in chronological order and didn't put my message directed at each recipient which I didn't think was necessary.

chronicsky and I have been working on contacting them. Here's keeping our fingers crossed........
Awesome, yeah I have seen that coin design before as well and it's neat to see on a bitcoin coin Did anyone find a place to order these from?
I decided I wanted another one too since the price for the remaining 40 or so Trajan coins that don't have highly sought after serial numbers seemed reasonable. Once you place an order you get a phone number contact. I don't know if it's ok to put something like that online or not though. Email address is no secret. Just DigitalMintAndVault at the domain mail.com (note: not gmail, just mail). Thanks for the information. Let me know if you're going in on them, I would like to pick one up if possible.

I see, thank you I guess. However, I do not see the point in inspecting the hologram since a group of people figured out how to remove the adhesive from a cas coin and leave it virtually undetectable besides a needle mark
No problem, I agree that a perfect hologram removal is not noticeable but most people out there don't have that level of expertise so any check is better than no check.

The first bits are on the lealanas so I don't see what the problem is.
So you are saying you do not trust me? Even tho I am accepting escrow and going the extra mile with them which anyone who as bought a coin from me can confirm
Nope, I was stating the Lealanas are nice unfunded as well and there is a difference between the "buyer funded" and fully funded. I wouldn't have any issue purchasing from you with the terms you have set up, nice work on those details. I'm sometimes skeptical of buying coins from users I haven't dealt with and don't trust to not have tampered with the coin or generated an address with the same firstbits as the coin. It's really important to check the hologram on a funded coin and make sure you have the address from the manufacturer (in this case, verified full public key from smoothie).

I knew I saw it on a website and took a screen shot of it once! Awesome, yeah I have seen that coin design before as well and it's neat to see on a bitcoin coin Did anyone find a place to order these from?

Interesting information about the differences and good to know! Fully agreed, MJ has done an exceptional job cataloguing these so far and I look forward to the 2017 additions.

I dont know how I missed this, but yes they were sold unfunded but I loaded them. The buyer funded silver lealana will also be funded shortly along with the F*D #9
But... Why? Isn't that the whole point of an assembled coin for them to be loaded with their face value? They don't need to be funded with face value IMO, but for Lealana coins I believe they come marked "buyer funded" if not funded with the face value prior to shipping. I'm a little skeptical of buying funded Lealana's second hand from users I don't trust.

Appreciate the quick information! I will check out the thread and look forward to the auction and raffle sets, hopefully I catch them in time to bid/participate.

Thanks for the information, how long until the full art coin design will be shown (or did I miss it somewhere)?
We have not stated when the design will be out as we want to make sure some of the Clay Composites find new homes. Thanks, I can't wait to see the design and will keep checking back.

Very nice to see your coin release Zeroxal, looks great and the transparent acrylic stand is a nice addition. Are all the 3 coin sets currently reserved?
|
|

First time seeing this thread, I will definitely reserve one. Whatever the lowest serial # available is fine with me.

Very cool, do you have any more pictures available? I just see the one when I click the link.

The list has been updated.
Interestingly enough I saw his firearms thread a couple months ago and was going to contact him in the future. Last month when I noticed this thread I realized I don't think I have the ability to contact him via PM since I'm on his ignore list and took a trip to the local store instead. I'm not saying he doesn't have the right to choose to alienate certain groups of individuals, but I don't think it's a smart business decision. It would be wise for him to focus his time & effort on fixing/creating his website as I'm not quite sure why he keeps bumping this thread with no edits/changes as holdaaja pointed out above. He should focus on his website because the #1 item in his HOW TO ORDER is instructing to email him at his active website address. 1. Most important: Get with your local FFL and let them know that you would like to have a gun shipped to them and that they will need to email a copy of their signed and VALID FFL to Admin@hometownarms.com. - I do not accept fax. - A high resolution photo will suffice as long as all words and writings (signatures) are clearly visible. That's ridiculous he's requiring someone to send their signed and valid FFL to a non-existent website with no support/information whatsoever. Give a gmail address or something if the website isn't functional, anyone can purchase a domain with no technical experience and choose Admin@domainname for their email address. His site is listed right under his image, he should care as I'd expect a prospective buyer would visit the site before starting the firearms process with him.

This is such an odd request, may I ask why you had it graded if you didn't want it in the slab? As others have stated I'm certain you could remove it from the slab easily. If I remove it from the slab it is essentially a waste of $20+shipping. I didn't get it graded. Gotcha, I thought you got it graded. The shadow box idea you mentioned seems pretty neat, do you have any photos of what that would look like?

That thing is massive! Where would the BTC be hidden, inside of the wooden piece? If there is no BTC inside it could say: "But our Bitcoin is in another Castle!"

After a lot of research, the poured silver is either sunken treasure or a homemade piece with a stamp similar to this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/131960366787 Probably the latter. I couldn't pin any history or timeframe on the pour but it's still a really interesting piece. Thanks for allowing me to inspect the fine details.

Could you define what you believe to be reasonably priced?
